A successful life?

People say that they want to get stable work and to earn a lot of money to become successful in life. Achievements using getting what we wanted in life most specifically in terms of getting a stable job with a higher salary with expensive gadgets, buying things we wanted in life, or being a degree holder.

What's your definition of a successful life?

Is it by having of degree holder?

• Some people strive hard to finish their studies of what course they took, it is in our mind that it is an advantage to people in reaching successful life if we are a professional one or a degree holder.

Is it by having of a big house?

• One of the bases of some people is by looking how big and good looking the house of the person is, some people define as a successful life we you owned a house that like a palace. Building our own house is one of the most essential things that a person must obtain at the right time.

Is it by having a brand new car or other expensive technologies and machines?

• We all know that majority of us like material things such as expensive cellphones, cars, and other things that might help a person to do daily activities or to aid boredom at home. Having expensive things in life or having that thing we want in life is one of the signs that the person is successful in life?

• Some of us may be amazed by those people who have expensive gadgets, we may compare ourselves to them of how fortunate they are of having that kind of life.

Is it by having a stable job with a high salary?

• Being employed is one of the most steeping stones of achieving successful life, people will study hard and strive to finish a course, we people aiming for a brighter future, being with a stable job is the most essential in aiming for a better life.

• ~ Nowadays amid a pandemic stable work is the most common concern of those people who are struggling in life due to financial problems, as we can see and noticed to social media and news hunger and poverty is the most common issue.

To all of what I've mentioned above, do you agree that these are the factors and basis of a successful life? Are we successful if we can achieve the following?

These questions made me realize earlier ago when a friend of mine told me about success. we normally talk until we come to the topic of being successful. She's still studying now, we're very close before like we are living in our world. I ask them a question to her, I ask " are you happy with your life now? is there someone who made you happy now? And she replied " As of now I'm focusing on my studies and I want to finish my study to have a successful life someday.

Her answer made me think of my situation now, I've done my part of studying but the thing is I'm still far from what they call successful life, I cant define my a successful life as of now by having a stable job with a high salary, having with expensive things, owning a house and lots.

My point is, I can only define successful life as of now by accepting what I achieve, what I have, what may come in the future. for me, happy life is my definition of a successful life, I can't avoid and endure things that made me happy by aiming at those factors that are usually set by the majority, being contented with life is my key to a happy life and happy life is my very simple definition of a successful life and yes I can't be happy without house and lot or stable job in the future but accepting what I have and achieve in life is my successful life.

I can't let myself live a miserable life or shall we say I'm working also those factors of successful life I've mentioned above but my point is I can't aim higher coz the higher the more disappointments in return if we fail. Go with the flow, I will work as I can, I will grab every opportunity along the way and l will live my life happily along the way.
