I get your point, all I'm saying is that contest or giveaways should be a bit more creative like what miss @Jdine is doing now, it's fun, it's creative too instead of the usual, subscribe to me, advertise my post to count as an entry then comment below. It becomes formatted text so I hope if it's giveaways, it should at least be unique and require the users to think fast or be really creative

Thanks @Hanzell ... i see some giveaways too that doesn't encourage you to write good contents. And yes I host a give away as of the moment but on a brighter side, I encourage people to actually write a good content instead of just subscribing to me. And at the same time, I also don't forget to write articles that I think may justify my stay in this platform. I hope we can all create quality contents even when we join or host a giveaway :)

I'm just wishing for more contest like these.. or even the photography contest would be good, I just want to see people induce more quality content instead of a repetitive content to the contest. Still hoping @wakeupkitty would do another freewrite contest too, honestly :") it was fun

I hope for more quality content too and two more contests we're planned for this year but since the quality dropped drastically after the freewriting contest this is the main reason why it's canceled.

Let's put it this way... I am disappointed in many and I am waiting for better times. Who knows it's still possible to do something creative together before the year is over, to promote those who really want and above all this platform. 💕

I don't know, it feels like more of a reason to push through with regular creative contests? Because i don't people will ever put in the effort unless there's some incentive behind it.

Who knows, maybe I'll host my own creative contest after my next date with my boy and see to it that only quality content can pass. Even an elimination round and all would be cool too

Well people are so unwilling to invest in themselves and try to improve. The previous crowd that really aimed to improve has been reduced a lot and that was a big letdown. But you can't all call them bad, a lot here really don't have enough an english background, after all

If people are not willing to invest in themselves it's fine with me. Why should I work hard, invest a week 24/7 in those who do not care and even reward them for it? There's only one thing I like to do which is writing, after that reading. Both I can do elsewhere too. What I lack most is time. 🤔

Nothing is similar. You can try Publish0x or Uptrend or Steemit. At the moment I only use Steemit next to this one. It depends on where you feel home most or - in my case - which platform is easier to join with a slow connection.
