Do you want to thrive in (the) right thing? I mean, in writing? If you are looking for a topic for your next or even for your first writing project, you are on the right track. Just what I have listed on my to-do list on my previous article entitled "How to Revive Your Dying Passion on Writing?", I'll be writing a separate article dedicated to: more interesting topics for writing and other trending topics for writing. On that same article, I have already given the ten suggested topics that you can start writing with. It can be found right under the bonus part of the article which is "What Topics You Can Start to Write?". But those ten topics will be narrowed down in this article and will be multiplied by two. That's why, there are a total of twenty topics to be discussed throughout this article.
So, the first ten topics are the ten suggested topics that has been presented already in the previous article while the next ten topics are the additional interesting topics for writing and trending topics for writing. The following topics below are not arranged or ranked in order. This has not been researched or copied anywhere else but this comes from my personal knowledge and/or experience only.

The Suggested Topics for Writing
1. Personal Experience
Share your experience about your pet. You can write about the tricks that your pet can do, what kinds of food that he or she only eats, how do you groom your pet, how do you train him or her, etc. All these and many more that you can tell about your pet can be exciting topics on your article.
Do you have an unforgettable experience when visiting a friend's house? What did you do there? Have you enjoyed the trip going to their place? Have you seen amazing things or scenic views or eaten rare foods? Whatever experience you may have in your friend's place, it can be an interesting topic that you can write on.
Tip: Present your topic based on your thoughts, actions or experience.
2. New Skills
Have you learned new skills lately? How did you learn it? How do you compare it to your previous hobby? Whether it is exciting or challenging to learn new skills, it can be an interesting topic that you can write on.
Tip: Always be specific, concise and accurate to what you are writing.
3. Backyard Gardening
Flower planting is now a common hobby to most of the Filipinos today since we are staying at home because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Share your journey from preparing your pots and soil to planting the plants and watering it to proper way of caring it and the benefits it give to you.
Vegetable gardening is almost similar to flower planting but you have to plant it on the garden plot you prepared. Share your journey from preparing the land to be planted, preparing the seeds, watering it to proper way of caring it and the benefits it give to you.
Tip: Be clear to the process that you are explaining or writing.
4. Latest News
Have you watched, heard or read the latest news today? What is it all about? Does it concern you, your community or your country? Write your thoughts about it.
Tip: Try answering the 5 Ws and 1 H questions when making a story that you have watched, heard or read.
5. National Issues
What do you think of the anti-drug campaign of the government? Does the government give enough focus with its campaign? What does the Commission on Human Rights say about Extra Judicial Killing? Will we be free from drugs soon?
Does corruption exist in every government agency? What is the most corrupt agency? Why corruption happened even during the pandemic?
Will we be having a fair and just election in 2022? Who will be the next president that the people want to vote for 2022? What would be his or her plans for the country?
So, what is your thought about these national issues? Do some research, show some facts and listen to different opinions.
Tip: Gather information about the issue, present the facts of a certain issue, the stand of the people about the issue or your stand about the issue.
6. International Issues
The COVID-19 pandemic is a world wide issue that everyone can relate. Everyone is affected with the new normal. How did people adjust then? What are the different situations all over the world upon facing this pandemic?
About the recent issue of Afghanistan, what is your thought about it? How do they survive from the Taliban?
Tip: Include in your writing the facts, studies about the issues and the experts' views and opinions.
7. Online Reviews
Making a review to the movie or videos you have watched is an interesting topic for your article. You can make a summary of the story first, then examine the elements of the story and make a reaction about it.
Just like the movie review, you can also do it in the story or book that you have read, blog posts that you have read or even a product that you have used.
Tip: Be honest and detailed in your writing when making a review of a certain content or product.
8. Online Frauds
Online frauds are spreading so fast. Make a guide on how to avoid the trap of scammers. Show it in your writing about their style when attacking the victims.
Tip: Make a step by step instructions or information that your topic talks about.
9. Earning Opportunities
Have you found legit apps and sites that make you earn some extra cash? What are the tasks in order to earn? Is it easy and free to join? You can write about your earning journey and show your payout proofs.
Are you a cryptocurrency enthusiast? Do you have the skills in trading? Show off your skills by writing it in an article.
Tip: Explain the process or give your readers a guide about what you are discussing.
10. Spiritual Faith
Be proud of your faith whether you are a Christian or Muslim. You can always share about your beliefs and the moral teachings of the sect where you belong.
Tip: Start writing about the faith that you believed.

Tip: Show off in your write ups about the lessons and values you've learned.
12. Favorite Quote
Do you have a favorite quote, verse, sayings, motto or favorite lines? How does it relate you, your experience and your life? Does it give a huge impact or meaning to your current state of life? Whatever it does to you, this is a sample topic you can have in your next writing piece.
Tip: Build your topic by sharing your favorite quote.
13. Friendship
Everyone has a friend in life or even a best friend. What are the qualities of your friend or best friend? Do you consider him or her as part of your family? Telling a story about your friends is another wonderful topic to write about.
Tip: Become knowledgeable about your topic based on your relationship or camaraderie.
14. Love Advice
Do you have love advice about break ups? Want to share your own heartaches? Want to share the lessons that you have learned from your past relationship? How did you move on from pain? Did you find another relationship and love again? All these can be a love advice that you can discuss in your next writing project.
Tip: Become an expert of your topic based on your own experience.
15. Street Beggars
Have you seen beggars on the street? Do you wonder why they are begging? How does they survive in their daily life?
Tip: Share real stories from real people.

Tip: Share techniques that your readers may learn to work smart than to work hard.

Have you checked already the latest mobile phones? If you are planning to buy a new phone, do you consider the brand name, specs and price? Before buying, check the advantages and disadvantages of the phone's features and specs. Give your readers a checlist of pros and cons when buying a phone.
Tip: Be accurate in presenting the advantages and disadvantages of a certain topic.

Are planning to buy a new computer or laptop? Do you consider the brand name, specs and price? Give your readers some hints when should they buy a computer by listing the pros and cons.
Tip: Be concise and specific in presenting your ideas in a bullet format.
