Let us start the week with a bang. Let's start it with an end of a season, shall we?

This is the continuation of the episode here: A Confession and a Creampuff.

At last, it was the day the whole class prepared for. Everyone was nervous. Everyone was anxious, but everyone was ready.

Jeremy was backstage with headphones on his head. He was peeking behind the curtain to see all the people waiting for their play to start. He speaks softly on the mic.

"Guys, this is it. 1 minute to raise the curtain. He eyes Junjun who was standing by beside the curtains' mechanism control. They both nodded at each other and Jeremy ran back to the dressing room. As he entered the room he sees Momo standing against a mirror on the left. She looked like a princess out of a fairytale as she was fidgeting with the curls at the end of her hair. She sees Jeremy enter and she turned to him.

On the right side, Mari was also standing in front of a mirror. She looked like a very feminine and handsome prince in her costume as Romeo. Her face lit up as she also noticed Jeremy's entrance. And just like Momo, she turned and faced him.

Jeremy couldn't believe what he was seeing, two beautiful ladies looking right back at him.

"You are so beautiful." he absent-mindedly said.

But who was he talking about? Was it Momo with her princess-like charms, or was it Mari whose cross-dressing woke up another side of Jeremy?

Both girls' cheeks were flustered and they looked at each other. They smiled at each other even though they both know that it was out of courtesy.

"So, who are you saying that to?" Momo teasingly exclaimed.

Jeremy looked at each of them one after the other and then back to the other.

He couldn't open his mouth. He was frozen.

The static on his headset came on and Junjun on the line said that it was go time.

"Good luck. Both of you." Jeremy said before he turned around.

The curtain was raised and the class started the presentation of their rendition of Romeo and Juliet. Mari was playing the part of Romeo while Momo was giving life to Juliet.

Applause, cheers, and some other reactions came from the crowd as they were all engrossed in the acting of each and every student. They all prepared for it. They were all invested in it. From the actors to the workers in the back, everyone supported each other.

The crowd was quiet and some of them were holding their tears while others bite into their handkerchiefs in an attempt to stop their tears from falling while watching the end part of the play.

Momo lays dead on Mari's lap.

"Oh, Juliet. My Juliet. I could not bear to live life without you. With this poison, I shall end my life too. And we'll be together in eternity." Mari proclaimed as she drank from the vial. After a few moments of taking in the fluid, which was water, she collapsed and lay dead beside Momo.

As they both lay dead, Momo slowly got up and in character, she professed the horror she witnessed. Her Romeo is dead and it seemed that her plan was not successful.

"Oh Romeo, my Romeo! How could this be?! How could this be?" she looked around and there was no poison left for her to drink. She picked up the prop dagger and drove it right through her chest.

As she thrust the blade into her, the crowd gasped and exclaimed as they were all carried away with the scene.

The curtain fell and the crowd roared in cheers and applause.

After a few moments, the curtain raised again and all the students from their class were lined up on the stage to take their final bow.

Flowers were tossed into the stage and everyone was cheering for a job well done. Jeremy was in the middle holding Momo's hand on the right and Mari's hand on the other. They took their bow and the curtain fell with the audience's cheers.

Everyone was cleaning up and the actors were getting dressed. Jeremy knocked on their closed-door and reminded everyone of the victory party later that night.

Momo and Mari were changing inside the room then.

"So, this is it eh?" Momo said.

"Uhm. Yes. Wish me luck." Mari replied.

Wish her luck? I don't think I could actually do that. I don't want to be a hypocrite, I know I don't want her to succeed. But I don't know what to even say. I don't want to change things. I can't. I'm just a passing character in their play. I'm not Romeo and no. I am not Juliet in this one.

Jeremy was in the classroom gathering up his things. He bid goodbye to his classmates because he wanted to go home first before heading out to the place where they were celebrating.

He picked up his bag and he felt his phone vibrating. He opened up his bag as he was on his way out of the door and he bumped into someone.

He looked up and it was someone he didn't expect.

"Jeremy, can we talk for a second?" she asked.

The girl looked serious and he didn't want to be rude by answering the phone first. It also seemed urgent too.

"Yes, of course, what is it?" he asked.

"No, not here. Follow me." she implored him.

He followed quietly.

They then reached the back of the school. The girl turned to face him.

"Jeremy." she said.

"Yes, Mari? What's up?" he asked. He was trying to keep his cool but his imagination is running wild just like always.

Is this it? Is this going to be a confession? Is my beautiful high school life already starting? Is this it? Am I ready for this?

"Would you..." she hesitated for a bit and then looked up to him again. "Would you go out with me?" her face was red and it was obvious that she was totally embarrassed about it.

He was just imagining it, he was just dreaming about it, and he could not believe that he was in that very same situation. A girl was asking her out. His body trembled in excitement and he didn't know what to do.

"Answer. Answer the goddamned phone you perv!" Momo was agitated and was annoyingly tapping on her phone. She was frantically trying to call Jeremy.

Is it too late to change her mind? Is it?

She stood up and hurriedly ran towards the classroom. She was running while still dialing his number.

The other students were looking at her as she rushed through the halls and corridors.

"Hey hey, look. Isn't that Momo?"

"Yes, why is she running in the halls?"

"Awww. She really is so dreamy. Kyaaaa"

She stopped at their classroom and was panting as she held unto the side of the door. She looked at the guys in the room and it seemed like a glare to them. They were frightened and scared.

"Did you see Jeremy?" she asked them while trying to catch her breath.

"W....w... he went out that way with Mari," they answered while they were trembling.

"Tch."

She was still calling while running. She went to every place she thought they would be and finally, she reached the back of their building.

As she turned the corner she saw Jeremy and Mari standing in front of each other. The phone was still beside her ear, it was still ringing, and she slowly lowered it, or maybe it was because the energy was drained from her body.

Mari ran towards her and hugged her tightly.

"He said yes Momo. We're going out. Wait, why are you here?"

Momo just looked blankly ahead and Jeremy met her eyes with a curious look.

Banzai!!!

I don't know how, I don't why, but time really passes us by. I can't believe that it's already the 50th episode of this series and the season finale! Can you believe that?! I know I can't. It went by just like that.

What started as something to fill my feed became a regular and at last, it's really my longest-running series so far. If you have been following the series "The Not-So-Perfect World" I hope that you found this season-ending episode to be a bit satisfying. And I hope that you will look forward to the next one.
