Jeremy's Secret

Recap:

The group noticed that Jeremy looked so tired and a tad sleepy during the daytime and in class. They also noted that he bailed out early from the club meeting. The rest of the club members' interest was piqued and they decided to follow the unsuspecting subject of their clandestine speculations.

Continuation:

"What do you guys think he's doing?" Mari asked while the lot is hiding behind the corner of a fence. They were quietly whispering as they watched Jeremy walking towards another street.

"Hmmm. I think he's got a date with someone." Alice replied. "Their relationship must be kept a secret since it is a forbidden love." she narrated while salivating.

"Why do they need to keep it a secret?" Junjun pried.

"Huwehehe. Such is the fate of boys who love fellow boys. They can only meet at night for a passionate hot date." Alice continued.

Mari's imagination got the best of her, she started seeing Jeremy's naked body being intertwined with another guy's naked body. They were both looking at each other's eyes and they were both blushing as their faces began to pull towards each other. As they close their eyes and pouted their lips expecting a hot kiss.

Steam came out Mari's head and she fell to the ground out of dizziness.

"No. I think my partner is out for a mission." Megumi started.

"Maybe he is out at night battling with dark forces of evil. That's why he was out every night to keep all of us safe and secure. Master Jeremy...such a noble act. It is my honor to wield my blade only for you." Megumi started her own ritualistic groveling on the ground.

"Hey hey, he made a turn. Let's go." Junjun said. The three of them dragged the unconscious Mari with them.

"Momo, what do you think?" Junjun asked.

A moment of silence and the sound of the wind answered him.

"Momo?"

"Momo went home. She said that this is just a waste of time." Mari said.

"Oh hey, you're awake."

The group quietly followed Jeremy through the streets and alleys that he went into. They would also tiptoe from time to time so as not to get unwanted attention. But it seems that they only made themselves more conspicuous since the other passers-by were looking at them. The only one who does not seem to be aware of their presence is the subject of their mission.

Jeremy turned right into an alley, the group followed him until they get to the corner and they peeked on the edge.

The group held their breaths as they watched Jeremy go inside a building from a side door in the narrow and dark alleyway. The light above them flickered emitting an ominous and dangerous vibe.

"Did he just..."

"He must really be involved in something shady," Junjun said.

"We must save him and make sure that he's all right" Mari added.

"Hang in there Master, I will save you." Megumi stated with her hand resting on the wooden hilt of her sword.

"Hey guys, look!" Alice called out to their attention. She was standing on the main road while looking up the front of the building where Jeremy went in.

The group slowly walked towards the main road and as they looked up, the huge M logo stared down at them. It was a fast-food joint. They carefully went in and walked towards the counter.

They placed identical orders for a burger and a side of fries.

They silently sat down on a table without saying a word amongst themselves. Jeremy walked towards them holding a tray of food in his hands. He set the tray on the table and looked at the grim faces of his friends.

"Oh hey, nice to see you hear guys." Jeremy greeted them. "What's with the long faces?"

"We followed--" before Junjun could even finish another word, Mari covered his mouth with her hands.

"We just wanted to try walking around this neighborhood and got hungry." Mari said. "We didn't follow you here or whatsoever. So you work here now?"

"Oh yes, trying to save some money before Elucia's birthday. I can't burden my mom for that expense." Jeremy earnestly replied.

They all fell silent as they wallow in the guilt brought on by their unsolicited suspicions.

Hiya!!!

How are you this fine morning? I think that writing this one is a wrong decision on my part. Now I seemed to be craving a burger and a few fries. And when I say a few, I mean "a bowl" of fries and some mayo and ketchup for the dip.

Anyhow, I will be leaving you with this and get some work done first. And as you know, I always appreciate your presence here on my page and as always...
