Classes will soon start that's why I need to make some preparation and review the knowledge in my brain starting tomorrow. I can't say I'm ready to return to school because I still want to extend my vacation for a month. Just kidding. We can't do anything about it but accept our fate. I need to enjoy my remaining days before the school works and say hello to me again.

Yesterday's celebration of my younger sister's birthday is a blast, no wonder I eventually fell asleep due to exhaustion. I think that is the main reason I made a mistake in trading my Hive Back Dollars to Hive yesterday night. Instead of trading it, I converted it to my PeakD account. lol. Well. all I can say is learn from mistakes uwu. Till the next drop of Hive and pump of HBD.

The sun is shining warmly today, I think it's the best opportunity for us to wash our clothes and let them dry by the extremely high temperature coming from the sun. It's a rainy morning again here. I thought the sun will shine brightly today since I saw the clear sky earlier but I am completely wrong in my prediction. Oh! I think that is somewhat expected since I heard on the news early in the morning that a thunderstorm should be expected especially in the part of Luzon and Visayas. This weather makes me want to sleep again Zzzz. Keep safe and alert every time guys!

Yesterday, when one of my virtual friends announced to us that noise released a new noise.app platform we are so excited to try it out to the point that we immediately made an account. Upon successful account creation. we are directed to a new look, enhanced features, minimalist style, and a new interface of noise. The first thing that comes out of my mouth is "wow!" I never expected this much but the developers made a good job! Although this platform is still under development, I can see a huge difference and changes on this one. The developers didn't fail to surprise us, don't you think? How about you? What are your thoughts when your first encountered this platform? Lemme know your thoughts!

The Consequence of Being Hard Headed **August 31, 2022** I was awakened by my alarm clock at exactly 5:00 in the morning because I have to get some requirements at our university for my scholarship grant. My scheduled appointment is 11:00 a.m so I need to prepare myself early since the university where I am studying is in Manila. I let my siblings take a bath first since they also have in-person classes to attend today. Once they are done, I immediately took myself to the bathroom and start to bathe. When I'm finished, I went to my room and start doing my grooming rituals. I styled my hair by applying some hair wax, did my basic skincare routine, and after that, I wear my chosen outfit for today. I chose an ochre brown shirt and partnered it with khaki pants, and chose to wear white shoes. I also put my watch and necklace to add some details. Ta-da! outfit check! I finished preparing myself in about 30 minutes. The next thing that I did is to eat breakfast. I need some energy since it will be a long tiring trip for me. I leave our house at 7:00 a.m. I rode a tricycle going to the terminal of the bus. I didn't enter the bus when I arrived there because I need to wait for my friend to arrive. When I see her she told me that we are going to the bus where her uncle is the driver. In that way, we are going to save our fare a little. During the trip, the rain suddenly poured down the sky. I am not shocked, I already expected that because I heard the news about the low-pressure area coming from the Philippine area of responsibility. Of course, I am prepared! I have an umbrella with me in my bag pack. The rain continues to fall until it becomes heavy but luckily it subsided when we arrived in Manila. The heavy rain stopped but it is still drizzling. **"It's just a drizzle, I don't need to cover myself with an umbrella." —** That is what I thought to myself. With that, my friend and I continue our journey going to our destination. After arriving at the university, we didn't waste time doing what we need to do in the first place. And as usual, we didn't forget to take a picture and a small tour inside the campus. When we get the requirements, we decided first to eat lunch in Mang Inasal before traveling back home. 2 days after that trip, I suddenly felt cold, my temperature is rising, and coughing hard became my problem. I am sick and I don't like it at all. That is when I realized that I became sick because I am hard-headed. The memory of me not using my umbrella and letting myself be exposed to the drizzle that day flashed in my mind. **"Ugh! It's my fault. I will not let myself do that again."** — I said to myself. CLOSING THOUGHTS You now realize how hard-headed I am. Even myself is pissed about what I did. I have an umbrella with me but I chose not to use it. Is it bad that I am afraid that my umbrella will soak wet? Char. I'm still sick but a warm cuddle will surely treat my sickness. Singing in a Videoke Made My Voice Hoarse Yesterday in the afternoon, my uncle called my mother. I thought at first that it was just a normal conversation asking how are we and such but I'm wrong. My uncle was inviting us today to visit them and celebrate his late birthday. I know for sure that it will not just be a normal celebration because just like what they usually do as part of Filipino culture, they will drink liquor while they are singing their favorite song choices in the videoke. Since my mom doesn't have work today and we don't have some things to do or any events to attend, we have decided to visit them and join the celebration. Oh! I forgot! I have something to attend to today since my friends are asking me out to eat in a samgyupsal restaurant near us but I chose to turn down their invitation today not because I don't have money to join them but it is because I want to spend time with some family matters. You know in life, we should always balance everything. Do not just only focus on one thing. So going back, we have decided to go around 2:00 in the afternoon. I prepared myself first, I took a cold bath, and make sure that I look presentable, handsome, irresistible, and don't forget the delectable. When 2:00 hit the clock, we set ourselves and go. It's just a 10 minutes travel since their house is just near to us and we also have a tricycle to ride. We bring some bread with us as a present, it's good to bring some presents rather than attend empty-handed right? When we arrived, the first thing that I saw is the table containing one big bottle of Alfonso and four red horse drinks. Their battle of the strongest will start soon, no doubt. I greeted my aunties and uncles and then proceed with the celebration night! They prepared pancit bihon which I immediately tasted and it's tasty! I cannot help but eat more. For our drinks, there is some cola. I drink a little since I am avoiding bubble drinks. After that, my uncle asked me to sing, but as long as I want to decline his invitation, I can't. Who am I to turn down a birthday celebrant's request? So I did. I sing a song entitled 'Beer' by the itchy worms band until it continues for a long time. I sing a lot of songs earlier until I am the one who gives up since I can feel that my voice is now weak and hoarse. I drink water to ease the feeling of dry mouth but it won't have any effect. My voice is the first one to give up so I dropped the microphone and talk to my aunties about some random things. When it is 6:00 in the evening, we decided to go home and as usual, I am tired from today's event. That's what happened on my day. How about yours? Implementing Curfew to Minimize Gadget Usage Youths today are more technologically inclined compared to the older generation because they are more exposed to and prone to gadgets and technology inventions. Is it a good thing? Or a bad thing to consider? Let's bring back the old generation lifestyle for reference. My parents always told us that whenever they wake up every morning the first thing that they will do is hold a broom and sweep the floor, find a rag and mop the ground, or fetch some water from the well and water the plants. In short, once they woke up they will do their responsibilities first before doing what is not necessary. Compared to our generation today according to them which is a total opposite who is most likely to search for their phones once their eyes open resulting in a not productive day at home. I am a little guilty about what they said because I sometimes do that and I'm pretty sure that most of us also. And that act resulted in them implementing a solution to that underlying problem and that is to have a gadget curfew. Wherein we have to surrender our gadgets to them once 10:00 p.m hit the clock while we can get it back tomorrow at 10:00 in the morning. But guess what? Since I'm now an adult, not a full adult though, I and my older brother got exempted! Yay! Because you know what? Once you become a college student gadgets will be your partner in academics, especially in research. On the other hand, my two other siblings are not safe with this rule since they are still young and they are having in-person classes so gadget usage must be monitored all the time. For me, it is not about parents being a strict individuals rather they just want their children to know what to prioritize first and focus on the important matters. Gadgets are just there, they will never leave. It's not bad to use them but we should know our limits and don't forget to do our responsibilities. Set of Questions that Let me Vent Out I am browsing for something to answer on the internet and here's what I found! You wake up suddenly in the middle of the night, what would be the scariest sound to hear after waking up?** For me, it's the sound of the footsteps of somebody. Let me share with you my creepy experience about it. I am young at that time probably 9 or 10 years old when this happened. My siblings and I are left alone in our house one night because my father was invited by our neighbors to drink to celebrate a birthday while my mother is working far away from us. We are busy watching movies on the television until we get sleepy so my sister and I went to our parent's bedroom to sleep while my two brothers went to the second floor. In the middle of the night around 1:00 a.m, I was awakened by some footsteps coming down the stairs which are where my two brother sleeps. The steps are kinda slow, I thought it was just my older brother who wants to pee. So, I tried calling him. "Kuya! Kuya?" — "Brother! Brother?" I said but I don't get any response. I sit on the bed and wait for him to answer back but I get none. Upon waiting, I heard that he went to our main room and switched on the light. With that, I stand up and exited our parent's room. I saw that the light in our room is on so I assumed that I am right, my older brother is there. With such bravery, I went inside our room and said... "(Kuya?) Brother? What are you doing there?" But did you know what is the scariest part? There is no one inside our room. Just me and the opened lightbulb that I didn't switch on in the first place. Upon realization, the fear suddenly crawled into my skin. I suddenly felt cold, I was so scared. The first thing that I did is to turn off the light and run like a madman going to our parent's room. I closed the door and never forgot to lock it. I jumped in bed, hugged my sister, and tried my best to sleep but that scary moment prevents me from doing so. So I muttered a prayer, then closed my eyes. Luckily, I fell asleep. Tomorrow after that, I asked two of my brothers if any of them woke up last night. But they said they don't. That sends a tingle and creeps into my system again. Ugh! I am having goosebumps while typing this and looking back on that creepy experience. Lucky me! That doesn't happen again. That's just one of my creepy experiences to share, more way to go and that's for next time. **2. What would be the consequences of a scientific discovery that extended the life span of humans to 500 years?** People who are hungry for money, power, and influence will surely take it to their advantage to live longer and do whatever they wanted. Imagine the corrupt government officials availing that discovery for their vision and convenience, high-profile criminals to continue what they desire, and war leaders who want to live an eternal life to own different nations. It will be chaotic. It will be a good scientific discovery but looking at the world we are living in today? I don't think it will leave a positive result. Death is part of us. It is inevitable. We are born to live for a while, we are also meant to die. That's the cycle of life, no one can ever change it. **3. What's the worst and best thing about being male?** This is the question that genuinely picked my interest to answer. Let's proceed to the best thing first. I am being thankful for being male because I don't need to feel the pain every month whenever my period is coming up and I don't suffer from pain while giving birth. I saw a lot of women, from my friends, classmates, and even my sister who suffer from pain every month because of their period. I saw how they struggle and keep themselves strong despite of pain they are feeling. Sometimes that leads them to not attend school, file a leave from their work, and so on. Giving birth is also painful. I can't imagine how much pain every mother felt when they gave birth. And that alone makes ms salute them more. Every mother is amazing! Now, let's talk about the worst thing about being a male. A lot of people thought that if you are born a man/male you are always strong. You are independent, you are not soft, you're not a crybaby unless you are gay, and you can handle everything that comes your way just because you are a man! If you don't then you're not a real man. But I beg to disagree with this one. That standard is just a social construct made by our society. It just adds pressure to men. Remember, men are also humans. We can feel different emotions. We are not always strong, sometimes we need someone to rely on and help us out. We are not always independent, sometimes we also need to be dependent on someone. We are not always hard as a rock, because we can be softy at times. We are not always happy, we also need to cry to vent out. See? We are all human, and that means we all suffer. Rainy Day Disturbed My Peace I was awakened by the alarm clock of my sister at 5:00 a.m since she and my other brother needs to attend their second day of in-person classes. As long as I want to sleep once again, I failed to do so. So I immediately get up and go to our kitchen to drink water. As my sight reached the window, the first thing that I observed is the big dark clouds forming in the skies. I can also feel the cold breeze of the wind touching my skin. With that, I know that anytime soon the droplets of rainwater will pour. My siblings have gone before 7:00 a.m. And you know what that means? I am alone enjoying my peace! No irritating debates, unnecessary noises, just myself with my phone, and of course my loving dog. Being alone is the best feeling for me, it relaxes my mind and makes me more productive. Is anyone else here who can relate? High five! But sadly as my siblings went to their respective schools the heavy rain suddenly started to fall. I am productive if I'm alone but I cannot be productive if it is raining. I feel like rainy days are a curse for me because all I want to do if that's the case is to slump on my bed, cover my body with a blanket, and make myself comfortable to sleep. But even though I want to do those, there are a lot of responsibilities that I need to do first. And one of those is to wash the dishes and prepare our viand for lunch. Such a busy person, right? Hmm, adulting sucks. After washing the dishes, I immediately prepared and sliced all the ingredients for the dish that I am about to cook for our lunch which is **Pinakbet**! One of my favorite dishes! I sliced garlic, onions, tomatoes, pumpkin, yardlong beans (sitaw), sweet potatoes, eggplants, lady's fingers (okra), and bitter gourd, then boiled pork meat, and crushed pork chicharron for additional. I know that the ingredients for this dish weren't complete but I'd make sure that it will taste well like the original. After cooking that is the time when I can relax. I listened to music for a while, played Mobile Legends multiple times, fold my dry clothes, have a conversation with my friends, and interact on discord servers. That is how I spend my alone time if I become lazy. Until lunch came, the rain still poured heavily with slightly strong cold winds which results in the suspension of my sibling's classes. See that? The second day of school turned out to be gloomy and rainy. My siblings come to our home later after the announcement which resulted in my peace to get disturbed. Get Back to School! When the COVID-19 pandemic started a lot of things happened. It leads some people to lose their jobs, entrepreneurs who chose to close their businesses, as well as students who don't have a choice but to continue their studies at home even if it is hard for them to cope with the sudden change in academic modality. The pandemic chained each one of us to do things voluntarily. It became a threat to continue what we used to do in our everyday life. It is a blockage that is difficult to terminate and a problem that gave professionals headaches, sleepless nights, stress, physical crisis, and mental breakdowns. It is indeed a very difficult case to handle. A battle that until now we are fighting for and hoping that we will be able to win this war against this natural phenomenon. After almost 3 years of the pandemic, It is good to know that there is some improvement. And that includes the returning of in-person classes for some schools that I know for sure everybody misses. Who wouldn't, right? It's been a long time since we experience physical interaction at school. It is the awaited moment for everyone. Tomorrow is the start of classes for some elementary, high school, and senior high school students. And that includes two of my siblings who are in 9th grade. They are so excited to be back where they can learn effectively, make friends personally, and grow physically and internally. For the preparation for tomorrow, my Father and my siblings went to our nearest supermarket to buy the necessary things for their studies. It includes pens, papers, notebooks, a small alcohol bottle or sanitizer, markers, new shoes for them, and school uniforms if ever they want to wear them. When they get back, they said that there were a lot of people in the market who are also busy buying school supplies and such. Upon hearing that, I am happy because it's been a while since I last saw the market that full. It's just so nice in my feelings because it felt like our situation is normal once again even if it doesn't. I just hope that everything will be soon okay. Let's Go! My Treat! Last August 08, 2022, the scholarship heads announced on our group chat that we need to attend the meeting on August 11 since there is a minor change in the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) that we signed the last time we attend their meeting. I'm not available on the said date of a meeting because we are about to go to my relatives in Nueva Ecija to celebrate one of my uncle's birthdays but I decided not to go with them because I think the meeting is urgent and an important matter to attend to. My parents also agreed to my decision since my excuse is valid and it's for my scholarship grant that can be helpful for my studies. August 11 came like a flash. I woke at exactly 5:30 in the morning to prepare myself and the clothes that I will wear. I chose blue denim jeans partnered with a dark brown shirt, white sneakers, and a mocha cap. And ta-da! I'm ready to go! I also wear a backpack that contains an umbrella in case of unexpected rain, pens that I forgot to bring with me last time, extra face masks, a wallet with money of course, and lastly the documents they required us to bring. I left our home around 6:50 a.m. I just need to walk for 5 minutes to reach our main road and ride a tricycle going to the bus terminal. When I arrived at the terminal, there is a 7/11 store near it. That is where I waited for my friend for almost 30 minutes. Yep! You read it right, 30 minutes! Lol! She was late because her alarm didn't ring. I didn't make a fuss over it and decided to ride on a bus. Luckily, my friend knows the conductor that's why we can ride for free. The estimated travel time is an hour but we arrived at our destination 15 minutes before 9:00 a.m. We just waited for my other friend for over 5 minutes and proceed to the meeting place. I thought that the meeting will last for 1 to 3 hours but we never expected that it is finished in 30 minutes only. We just rechecked every detail for our bank account and signed documents and that is all! The meeting is finished. Since it was too early (9:30 a.m) my friends and I decided to go to the nearest mall and have a little conversation. The mall will open at 10:00 that's why we need to wait for how many minutes. My friends said that they don't have money to eat something because they don't bring money that much so I decided to treat them using some of my Bitcoin Cash earnings. I bought us milk tea for us three and a Mcburger. I chose a classic tea flavor, while my other friends chose Blue Butterfly and Chocolate. We ate our food under the mall's view deck and have a nice conversation about random things that are happening to our life and the lives of others as well. Marites yarn? Let's Talk About My Pet Peeves If someone would ask me what my pet peeves are I will probably answer them by giving an example of an animal because, to be honest, I don't have any idea last time what that phrase meant to be. I know I may sound funny but believe me when I heard that phrase the first thing that will come to my mind is about pets that you are fond of, meaning animals. It can be pets that you have, pets that you love, or rather pets that you didn't much like. But upon researching, I found out that I misunderstood what it meant, thanks to Google. I was embarrassed to know the meaning behind it. All my life I thought that it is what I think it is but it is not. But I'm still glad that I was able to figure it out. It just means that I have something new to learn and I didn't still know everything. So what does **PET PEEVE** means? "A peeve is an annoyance, and a pet peeve is an annoyance that’s nurtured like a pet — it's something someone can never resist complaining about." (Definition from **vocabulary.com**) https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/pet%20peeve In simple words, a pet peeve is/are things that a person might find annoying. See? It's not all about animals! Lol! Reminder to myself that don't base the meaning of phrases on just their words. What are my pet peeves? **1. Chewing food or drinking too loud** Have you ever been in a situation wherein you are eating peacefully but got distracted by a loud noise coming from someone who is eating their food so loud? Or even drinking water or any beverage with a slurping sound? Because I did so many times. At home, when we are eating my older brother eats that way. Whenever he chews I can hear. I don't know if he's doing it unconsciously or intentionally but I find it annoying and at the same time distracting. Our parents already advised us not to eat that way because we can be a distraction to others. At the same time, it is not appropriate to do so. However, my older brother still does it oftentimes I just wish that he might consider changing it. In the other part of the world, In Japan, slurping noodles with noise is part of their culture. From what I have read they do it because they believe that it enhances the flavor of the noodles and the other one is to eat quickly. Waiting for someone for a long time that exceeds our call time** Some may say that it is okay since it is commonly practiced by Filipinos which is known as "**Filipino time**". But I beg to disagree. For me, If we agreed to meet at this time frame we should arrive within that time frame. I am not saying that it's not okay to be late that's a different issue. There are instances that we might be late for some reason and I understand that. Being late for 5 to 15 minutes is fine for me but if I will wait for more than 30 minutes to an hour that is not good and eventually a turn-off. I experienced it multiple times. If I am not that patient and understanding at that time I will probably be mad. I have mentioned in my previous articles that I am once an online seller. There is one time that I have to deliver a certain order for a customer. I waited for almost an hour before she arrives. I kept my cool and understand her reason but that is the time I realized that I am too kind and was being abused already without me knowing it. So basically, I learned my lesson and will never exert too much effort for that kind of person. **3. Using phones during a conversation** A conversation needs active listening. I find it off if I'm talking to someone but their attention is on their phones. I feel like I am not worthy of listening to and what I am saying is not as important rather than what's on their phone. I just feel like I am talking to nobody or having a conversation with the air. Usually, if that happens my excitement and eagerness to tell stories will fade and I will eventually stop talking too. I need someone as excited as me to hear my stories, someone who is eager to listen, and someone who can focus on me and what I'm about to say in the meantime. It's nice to find people who know how to give someone's worth and attention. CLOSING THOUGHTS Wrap it up! That is some of my pet peeves to share. My Barber Decides my Haircut — A Disaster The sun finally revealed itself after a whole week of rainy days. At last, I will now be able to feel the warmth again and can now enjoy going outside freely. Seeing my reflection in the mirror, I observed that my hair has grown long again. Since I'm going to attend a lot of meetings the following week to be reunited with families and friends, I thought that this is a great day for me to have a haircut! Excitedly, I tried browsing for a different haircut that is suitable for my face shape thinking that it will also look good to me and also to try something different. After minutes of browsing different articles and pages, I have decided to have a '**classic fade'** as my choice. I am not sure though if it will look good to me but I will not get the answer that I want if I wouldn't try it, right? With that, I stand up from our couch and ask my younger sister to prepare and accompany me. Luckily, my father also asked her to buy some bread at the bakery as our marina for today. He gave us 200 pesos or $3.59 as our budget. 100 pesos for my haircut and another 100 pesos for the bread. After that, we go out and continue our journey to the market. I also bring my umbrella with me because even if I can see good weather ahead, that doesn't erase my doubts that it can rain at any moment. Am I paranoid? Nah! Just thinking of the possible scenarios that might happen. It is better to be ready than sorry and I always keep that in mind. The public market is just a 5-10 minutes walk from us that's why hailing a tricycle or motorcycle is not necessary. In addition, walking for how many minutes will also be considered as our exercise for today. When we reached the barber salon, my sister and I parted ways because she will buy bread from the bakery. I on the other hand sit in the salon's receiving area since there is still a customer inside. After about 7 minutes, my sister came back carrying the bread inside the plastic. She then brings out her phone while waiting for my turn since she will be bored if she will do nothing and just stare at the ceiling. 30 minutes had passed, and it is now my turn to sit on the throne. The barber asked me to get inside and I immediately stand up, I ask my sister to wait for me shortly. She just nodded and continue playing with her phone. Upon entering, I felt the cold air hit my skin. I'm glad that it is cold inside since the barber's salon is air-conditioned. Sweating profusely will not be my problem for a while. One moment, the barber then asked me what my haircut will be and I said that was just a classic fade. I also bring out my phone and let him see the haircut that I wanted for reference. When he saw the picture he said that there is a more suitable haircut for my face shape and I will surely look good at it. Since their salon has a big reputation in our community, there is a lot of good feedback from customers and this is my fifth time to be in their salon so I said that I am willing to give it a shot since I am also trying a new haircut. After that, he then proceeds to cut my hair while we are having a little chit-chat with each other. 10 minutes had passed, and I notice that my hair from my sides is cut so short even on my top part ಥ‿ಥ I didn't bother to react or do something, I just sit there and let him finish the work. When he is now finished, I just keep my smile plastered on my face while seeing my new haircut in the mirror even if I want to cover my head to hide my embarrassment. My haircut is so short! And I don't like the result either. When my sister saw my haircut, she said that it does not suit me well. The haircut is good but not for my face shape. With that, we went back home while I am carrying my embarrassment lol. CLOSING THOUGHT This is my first time experiencing this and I thought it will be a very good experience but to my disappointment, it is not. I promise myself not to do this challenge again and I will stick to what I want. All in all, even if I regretted this I'm saying to myself that my hair will grow back again and I don't need to worry about it. Omegle In The Middle of the Night — Not a Love Story to Tell Trying something new is a great diversion to forget something that keeps bothering us for a while. It keeps us busy and at the same time, it keeps us occupied for the time being. It lets us experience things we haven't done before which we somewhat find enjoyable and satisfying leaving us with new memories to treasure forever. It's been a while now since I tried something new in my life. Well, not totally new because I have tried using Omegle and different chatting platforms where you can meet a lot of strangers online. What I mean is that it's been a while now since I tried using that platform AGAIN after how many months? Especially since this happened last July when I'm still focused on studying and preparing for our finals. **Do you want to know what happened? Here it is.** Last July we are assigned to make a video as a group about our topic in one of our subjects. We are given a week to finish the task. Even though most of us don't have any background when it comes to editing videos I am still thankful that two of my members have so they volunteered to make the video presentation. And as for our role in our task, we are going to provide needed information as well as play the voice-overs. ***—————Fast Forward...—————*** The day of the submission has come. Monday until midnight is the deadline. I am just waiting for our editors to forward the video to me because I am going to post it on our Facebook group as our final output. As a group leader or representative, posting our video is my duty. Being an editor is difficult, I experienced it myself. That's why I told the editors that don't rush and maximize their time. We can do it. So I've waited. Until 11:00 in the evening hit the clock I don't receive any messages on my account. Their last chat is that they are now finalizing the video and they will send it soon as possible. I trust my group mates because I believe in them, so I've waited patiently. However, I can feel that I am already sleepy at that time so to keep myself awake I thought of visiting Omegle. I also entered 'talk' as part of my interest to filter out strangers that are asking for different kinds of entertainment. *If you are using Omegle you know what I'm trying to point out*. I don't want strangers asking me for some n*des, you know how wild the strangers on that site can be. All I want is peace lol. Upon entering, I met this girl. At first, we are chatting in English but as time goes by when she said something funny and I replied it with "AHAHHAHAAH" as my laughing expression. She then asked me... "Wait! Are you Filipino?" I asked her back how she was able to say so. She told me that my laughing expression says it all. Don't you agree with her? We Filipinos often use exaggerated"AHAHAHAH" instead of lol or short term for "laugh out loud". Moving on, our conversation continues. I got some info about her. That she is already a graduate of Psychology in the university that I forgot to remember today. And she is 23 years old. I thought, ows too old for me but I'm ready to be a sugar baby charot! Until I got the courage to ask her... " If you don't mind, what are doing here? Are you looking for something?" She said that she is single and actively looking for someone. I then said... "I'm sorry but I'm not looking for a partner right now." Do you know what her reply is? 😭 She said. "Hindi naman kita tinatanong kung available ka ah" —with a laughing emoji Or in English "I'm not asking you if you're available, I just told you" Oh my gosh, the assuming me lol. I cannot! The embarrassment. Sadly, she lagged so I decided to end the conversation even if I want to spend chatting with her. At the same time, my group mates already sent me the video so I need to post it as soon as possible because there are only 3 minutes left with us. And that is where my Omegle experience ends. CLOSING THOUGHTS I already shared this experience of mine with my friends and they all laugh at me! They said that I assumed too much. Sorry, my fault lol. Maybe In Another Life? I envy those people who are privileged enough to provide for their education needs without minding the money they are about to spend. Those who are capable of enrolling in any prestigious university in the world without minding the tuition fees they are about to pay. Those who can easily buy needed technologies and learning materials when needed. Those who can access guaranteed quality education. And lastly, those who can primarily focus on their studies with ease without thinking of additional ways to support themselves financially. Indeed, being wealthy has a lot of advantages. Being rich is something we can call big freedom and independence. Wherein money is not a difficulty but rather sovereignty. Unlike other people who are struggling like me and for sure most of us. Money plays a vital role in my education. Even though I am currently enrolled in a state university that is government funded meaning no tuition, I still need money to support myself and to pay for my other expenses. I don't want to let my parents shoulder all the responsibility even if supporting me is their obligation as a parent. As long as I know that I can lessen the burden on their shoulders, that I can contribute something, I will do it. That's why applying for various scholarship programs that offer financial assistance has been my goal until now because I know that is a big help for me as a student. Unluckily, I wasn't able to pass most of them. The competition for scholarship spots is pretty tough. They are not just basing academic records, even if you have a good set of grades as long as you didn't pass other criteria such as geographical data and income tax return of parents, you're eliminated. But even though I experienced a lot of rejections, there's still good news that I am thankful and worth celebrating for. And that is for being qualified to be one of the scholars in one of the charities here in our city. With that, I believe that if there are opportunities that closed their doors to you, there will be a new set of opportunities that will open. All you need to do is patiently wait and then continue. Amidst the Coldness of Pouring Rain It's raining again. I don't know why it keeps raining in the afternoon. All I know is that my clothes are not yet completely dry but the rain didn't bother to care and continuously pour its water on us. Hey, rain! Are you numb? Don't you feel any remorse? Or this is your sign of showing love? For sure, I will need to wait until the sun set up again to hang my clothes up but I think that day will not be tomorrow. Seeing the weather today and how strong the rains are, I don't think it's possible. However, even though I am slightly pissed due to bad weather, I can say that this kind of weather brings me an immense feeling to just sit and relax. I didn't manage to move around the house and clean today, rather I feel like staying in my room all day and doing things I usually do whenever I spend my time alone. Oops! Don't give me that stare. It's not my fault that I feel this way. The rainy day makes me do it. Which in fact? I enjoy! Lol. Since I am feeling lazy today, I decided to prepare myself a hot cup of chocolate partnered with Spanish bread that my father bought in the market. Why not coffee? Well, I don't drink coffee or I must say I stopped drinking coffee a long time ago. It's not that I don't like it, just my personal preference and decision. Self Discovery Questions — A Rush Piece **How Do I feel at the Moment?** I'm physically exhausted. Both of my hands are aching as well as my back because I've washed my piled-up clothes that were stuck for almost 2 weeks 😭 Yes. You read that right. I wasn't able to wash that last time because of my hectic schedule wherein final activities and exams are all lined up. I started earlier at exactly 9 a.m and finished at nearly 5:00 pm. Who wouldn't feel exhaustion, right? All I want right now is to lay on my bed, cuddle with my lovey-dovey, and receive a peck of kisses on my head. Eme. As if I have someone right now to do that. Don't believe what I wrote above, it just purely came from my wild imagination. But I'm looking forward to it soon lol. **What Do I need more of in my life?** The first thing that comes to my mind is **money**! I need more money in my life, that's why where's my sugar dzaddy? Char. If I only have a lot of money in my pockets, for sure I can buy whatever I want and go to any places that I want to visit. Especially at this time wherein the prices of goods are high because of inflation and other economic crisis that is happening to our country. OMG, I don't want to think about it. Money is power nowadays if I base it on our reality, if you have more money? Then you have the privilege to do whatever you wanna do. Lucky for those who are, unlucky for those who belong to the edge. Well, that's how life works, isn't it? **What would make me happy right now?** An ice cream 🥺 I don't know why I am craving to eat that at this hour but maybe it's because of my hormones due to pregnancy. Lol. Just kidding aside. But I'm honestly craving it. My tongue is searching for cookies and cream-flavored ice cream, it's been a while since I last tasted one. But if ice cream is not available? A bebe time will do. **What Lesson Did I learn this week?** Don't let your dirty clothes piled-up for about two weeks or more without washing them because for sure you will experience a hell day after that. That is why I reminded myself to wash my clothes and other stuff every week so I will not experience again what I've experienced today. Trauma yarn? **What Does my ideal morning look like?** The sun is shining brightly on the clear sky while the cold breeze of winds in the morning are hitting the plants or leaves of trees making them sway and producing a calming sound for my ears. Birds are flying some are chirping as if they are having a good conversation with each other. While I on the other hand will sit on a vacant chair on our terrace while sipping hot milk or chocolate appreciating the view. That's what I am imagining, I want that vibe and feeling. Model of My Success Watching the speech of Christina Garidi from one of the episodes of Tedx Talks make me question if I consider myself right now a successful person. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fj3-GcQo8gg I tried browsing the definition of '****success****' online and here is what I've found. According to Oxford's definition of success, it is: *the accomplishment of an aim or purpose.* *the attainment of fame, wealth, or social status.* *a person or thing that achieves desired aims or attains fame, wealth, etc.* Based on the given definitions above, I can say that there are some extents in my life that I achieved success, that I become successful. One of the successes that I achieved is the time when I learned to ride a bicycle. That's a simple achievement for others. Yes. but that's a success. I grow up scared to learn how to ride it when I was a child since I am afraid that I might fall and receive a bruise or an injury. Fear is one of the factors that hindered me to accomplish that goal. But you know what? When I learned how to ride it, it gives me an immense feeling. I felt like I achieved something difficult in my life, that I overcome my fears. Another success that I am proud to share with you was my admission to the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) in Sta. Mesa Manila where I am studying as of now. My admission to that university is not an easy ride for me. Before I get where I am today, I received a lot of rejections from other universities that I applied for. That's why I believe that success takes time to be accomplished. It is something that can't be achieved in just a snap of our fingers or as long as we desire it. With these experiences, I created my success model. And I want to share these with you. My Success Model — How to Achieve Success? Keep Dreaming, Keep Hoping, and Keep Believing There is nothing wrong with dreaming of things we want to achieve in the future. That will drive you continuously to attain what you want to have in your life. Dreaming is free, all you need to do is to hope and believe that you will be able to achieve it someday regardless of the obstacles that you will encounter along the way. Remember, *success is more meaningful if you strongly believe that you can achieve it.* Learn that failure or rejection is our redirection Failing is hard as well as being rejected. It makes us wonder what things we lack in ourselves even though we did our best to achieve them, resulting in us doubting our capacity and questioning our capability. However, I strongly believe that if a door was closed there will be other doors of opportunities that will open for us. *Failure and rejection teach us a lesson and redirect us toward better things in life. This is the way of God to prevent us from choosing bad decisions that can greatly affect our future lives.* Trust yourself and never think of giving up You know yourself more than the people around you. Even if other people won't believe you and even if they don't give their support to you, the most important thing is you genuinely believe in your abilities. That you can make it, that you can do it. *If you failed once? Don't stop. If you failed twice? Don't stop. If you failed thrice? Don't stop. But if you failed so many times? Stop. Think for a while. After Almost 4 Months of Inactivity, I'm Finally Back on Track *Hi! It's been a while.* *How are all of you? What's up?* These are the questions that I want to ask you. It's been almost four months since I decided to stop writing. Not because I want to give it up, not because I don't have any topics to share or write, and not also because I felt it's not worth writing pieces anymore. But it's because of a certain reason...and that is to focus on what I believe is the most **important**. Before I decided to stop writing a few months ago, I tried weighing things right. I thought of the consequences and possible positive outcomes of my actions. *"What should I do? What's the better decision? What will give me genuine satisfaction? Can I do it? Can I make it? Will it be okay for me? "* There are a lot of concerns piled up in my head. But considering my current situation at that time, wherein I am academically stressed, physically tired, and mentally exhausted? I know what I should do, I know what is best for me. I chose to stop writing...for a while. Honestly speaking, it's really hard for me. Writing on this platform became one of my routines, my stress reliever, and my world wherein I can freely express my thoughts and ideas without judgment. Additionally, this micro-blogging platform is one of my sources of income that help me buy my necessities. So what will I do if I suddenly stop writing? My source of income as a student will be lost. But looking at the bigger picture? I realized something. ***Stopping something that you are passionate about for a while doesn't mean that you will stop doing it forever. Even though you will miss a lot of happenings and even though you will lose a lot of opportunities, the time will come that you will be finally back on your track.*** And that's what happened to me. I stopped but never quit. Now? Wherein my first year being a college student has finally paid off. I can now sigh in relief. Today (**August 01, 2022**) is the start of my vacation. I waited this day for how many days, weeks, and months. And now that this time has come? I pledge to make time for myself. I deserve to rest! I deserve to have a decent sleep! I deserve this long vacation! But even though I am finally back in writing articles, I can say that this will not last forever, I will need to stop it soon. As you can see, I am a busy college student and education for me should be at the top of my priorities. But as long as I'm on my vacation, I will write and I will share. I will do things that I wasn't able to do when I am busy with school work. But once my vacation comes to an end, I think I should focus on my studies again. Let's Have a Chit-Chat I am so mentally exhausted today because I just finished some of my lessons and answered some of my activities in different subjects especially Calculus and Discrete Mathematics. That's why for today's article, I will just answer random questions that I got from Pinterest. I know that some may find this too common but that's fine with me as long as I can able to maintain my writing goal for this month. You know I already have two absences this April and as much as possible I don't want to add this day to that category. Well, I think I am talking too much let's now proceed to the questions that I got. **What is** ****Love**** **to you?** For me, love is something that is unexplainable and indescribable. It can't be touch because it's not tangible and can't be seen by our naked eye. It is a feeling that we just felt toward a person without a particular reason. I believe that being in love is like having a person who can understand you, a person who can accept your flaws and insecurities, a best friend that can listen to your rants and problems in life, a companion that is willing to accompany and support you with your decisions, an adviser that gives you advice whenever you have something in your mind, a lover that cuddles you every time you need it, and a travel buddy that joins you in every journey of your life. All in all, love is a complete package. Not perfect but can bring you a smile. **Do you like reading** ****books******?** Yes! I love reading books! To be honest I love reading Wattpad stories. I became hooked on reading stories when I was in my high school years. A Big Worm Turned Out to be a Snake I have read one of the articles of @DennMarc last week if I remembered it correctly about his unexpected encounter with a snake at their home, that's why it brings me an idea to share my embarrassing memories and awkward moment of my childhood about snakes also. Just like what we usually do every sunrise, my child self decided to get out of bed to drink water and to lessen the gallons of liquid in my little cute stomach. I immediately went to our bathroom to pee. As I'm about to pull out my little pututuy on my short or as we all know my private part, a noise from the bucket startled me making me put back my pututuy. You know what, when I was just a child I am so afraid of ghosts and other ugly creatures that's why a small creak or sudden sound makes me anxious. As a naive and curious child, I began to think what is the thing that makes the bucket sound like that? Why does it sound like something is moving behind it? With curiosity in my mind, I decided to lift the empty bucket just to realize that there is a big size black worm hiding beneath it. The first thing that I thought is..."**Wow! It's super cute! It's my first time seeing a worm this long!**" Since I am fascinated with worms when I was a child, I thought of picking the worm up to play with it but it suddenly move. It makes me shocked and surprised at the same time but that doesn't make me frightened. Pretty brave for a child, right? Thinking that it doesn't like to be carried around I just threw a pile of water to make it move which it did. I just continued playing with it until I heard my father getting out of their room. With that, I happily went to him and shout..."**Pa! Pa! There is a big worm in our comfort room! And it's colored black! Cmon see it!**" I said cheerfully. My father suddenly became wide-eyed that it seemed like he was awakened from his dream. He said that I should climb on a chair immediately. Confused with what he had said but I still obliged. While waiting I saw him carrying a large rectangular timber and he was going to our toilet area. On the toilet, he seems like he is fighting someone inside and I thought that it was the worm whom he is killing. The sound of a duel or battle inside makes my mother and other siblings wake up from their sleep. After how many minutes of fighting, my father told me that it was not a big worm rather it is a venomous snake. Especially since it is colored black with a touch of green. On the same day, my parents gave me a lot of lecturing after that incident. They also said that at my age I can't able to differentiate between a worm and a snake. Until now when they remember it, they can't help but tease me about my naiveness and my ignorance. CLOSING THOUGHTS This happens in real life and if you are wondering that I can still remember it regardless of how many years have been. I can say that my brain retains a lot of my childhood memories. I can still recall my childhood around 5-6 years old which I find interesting and peculiar. However, I can't recall all of the things in the past just some scenarios and fragments. This article should give an insight into you and the parents out there to always guard your children all the time because a lot of unexpected things can happen in an instant. At Home, Alone Last week, my mother asked me if I am going to come with them on a trip this Holy Week (Maundy Thursday). They planned to visit our relatives in Nueva Ecija whom we haven't seen for a long time. Well, honestly, I am the only one who doesn't visit there since my parents and siblings already visited them in the previous month. I think for a while before answering that '**I don't want to go with them**'. An easy decision for me, right? Lol. Maybe some of you are thinking, wondering why didn't I go with them? What's my reason for not coming? Truth be told, when I imagined how many hours we will spend on travel I immediately felt tired. We will about to spend 3 to 4 hours of travel using my aunt's car and that will surely bore me to death. Second thing is that I am having a symptom of fever. I already have a runny nose and I don't want to be in contact with my uncles and aunts to prevent the spread of my sickness. Should I consider myself thoughtful then? Nah. I just want everyone to be safe that's all. In the end, even if they want me to come with them, I stood my ground and hold my decision. Since they can't do anything more to convince me, my mom left me some cash for me to buy the things I needed when they are out of town while my dad told me to guard the house, feed our beloved dogs, and water the plants in time. They eventually left on the same day probably around 3:30 pm making me alone in our sweetie home. Since I am the only person in our house I felt the comfort, quiet, and peace of loneliness. I am not lonely and sad alright? I love being alone if you will ask me. I mean, being alone brings me overall freedom and joy. I can do whatever I wanted but of course with limitations. So what did I do during my alone time? What are the activities that I did? Did I pray all day? Or did I do something naughty? Charr. Don't mind me it's just for some spice. I don't want this article to be all serious. ****Movie Marathon**** Watching movies is commonly done by everybody. We can do it in a group or individually. So since I don't have something to do on that day, the first thing that I do is watch a movie entitled '**The Adam Project**'. I just see it on my Netflix recommendations and I decided to try it out since it is Sci-Fi fantasy which I love about movie genres. Giving you a short recap without spoiling it, it's all about the time travel of the main character in a different timeline that causes him to meet his child self. It's a good movie and must watch since it has a lesson to share with us. Once I finished watching it, I rewatch the Vampire Diaries series. It is one of my favorites series back then until now aside from Supernatural. I just missed all the characters so I decided to reunite with them. Giving you a fact about myself again, I am obsessed with supernatural creatures such as Vampires and Human Wolves. Not obsessed like a mad man alright? Lol. ****General Cleaning**** Who among you loves to clean if you are just alone? Raise your feet! Yay! Am I the only one who feels energetic to clean if I know that there are no other people in the house who are walking from time to time? I hope I'm not the only one. Since I am alone, I grabbed the opportunity to clean the whole house. Sweep the floor using a broom then mop it afterward, clean the kitchen and comfort room, clean my room, then wipe all the dusty furniture. After doing that for how many hours, I decided to rest and eat a lot. It's enjoyable but also tiring at the same time. ****Play Mobile Games**** Aside from the things that I mentioned above. I also played mobile games, more specifically '**Mobile Legends**'. I know that some of you are playing this game too and I will admit that it's fun to play. I played rank mode to level up my rank but sadly I experienced a losing streak. Lol. Sometimes the game doesn't want us to have good allies that result in not-so-good gameplay. Let's begin! ***Do you have the same political view as your parents?*** This question is timely relevant huh. Elections are coming near this May and I hope that everything turns out well after that. Well going back, I and the members of my family have different political perspectives. Maybe that is why we have different presidential bets this coming election. Well, that is not a big deal for us. We often share things, facts, and opinions about our political views and chosen candidates in a healthy manner. It just depends on them, on us rather, if our viewpoint will change in the future. Even if we have different beliefs and opinions, the most important thing is to respect each other choices. We are old enough to conduct our research and explore the web to find facts and receipts. All in all, I hope that the right presidential candidate will win the election for the betterment of this country. ***What's your favorite part about your house?*** My favorite part of our house is the unfinished second floor that serves as our view deck wherein you can see the amazing and beautiful sunset as well as the bright shine of the moon every evening. Whenever I felt sad, angry, and stressed from everything, I will just go up there for a while to think. That serves as my safe place and stress reliever. You know I am a big fan of sunsets and cloudy skies, that's a perfect place for me. ***Favorite Disney Movie?*** Right now? I will choose the Encanto movie as my favorite! I learned a lot of things from that movie that I can apply in real life. And one of the things that the Madrigal Family wants us to remember is we are special in our way. Least favorite?*** When it comes to household chores, my all-time favorite is mopping the floor! Especially if I will wash the big and heavy clothes, blankets, curtains, and rugs. Ugh, Imagining it right now makes me tired already. How about you? What's yours? ***What do you believe is the afterlife?*** I am confused about what this question wants to point out. But I will answer it in this way. I think when we die, our spirit will come to the afterlife wherein we can no longer experience pain, there will be no war, there will be no hardships for everyone, and we can experience the happiness and peace that we desire when we are alive. ***Are you the favorite child?*** In our family, favoritism is not practiced by my parents. They believe that each one of us should be treated equally. They don't want us to feel that there is someone more precious than them and with that, I salute my parent's mindset. I believe that favoritism shouldn't be practiced by anyone instead we should give equal favors and kindness. So the answer to this is a no! ***What's your thought on pranks?*** I love watching prank videos on different bloggers and I can say that gives me joy whenever I watch them doing that but I believe that there are some pranks that we shouldn't consider doing. One of the best examples is pranking your husband that your water broke during pregnancy, testing positive about pregnancy, and even pranking about ordering foods online. Even if we have good intentions about doing these pranks we should always remember to limit our actions. Not all pranks can be funny, sometimes they can cause problems. ***What do you need to sleep at night?*** A good night kiss from my juwa or a big warm cuddle, lol. I am looking forward to that in the future tho. Right now, all I need to sleep at night is a cold bath from the shower because you know how hot it is in the Philippines every time. (Part II) Here's the continuation of my previous article yesterday. ***What city you can see yourself living in?*** I always wanted to try living in Baguio City since Baguio has a cold temperature compared to other cities such as Manila. For sure I will be able to wear all of my jacket and sweater outfits every day without minding the extremely high temperature coming from the sun. I also want to see strawberry farms and even experience planting them by myself. But you know what? I also have a plan to live in the city of another country which is Canada. Not because I don't love the Philippines but living in that country became my ultimate goal in the future. Canada is my dream place to settle down, I just hope that fate will let me achieve it! ***Have you ever enjoyed museums? Which?*** Truth to be told? I've never been to a museum. I was able to visit Luneta Park, Star City, Gardenia, Quezon City Circle, Manila Ocean Park, and even the Enchanted Kingdom during a field trip but a Museum? Nah. Well, it's just sad that the National Museum of the Philippines has never been to our destination during our school's field trip, But I am willing to visit one in the future to see some treasured items and artifacts that tell about our history. ***What was your childhood dream job?*** When I was a child I dreamed to be a doctor, chef, and teacher. Far from what I am pursuing now. I am always bewildered by the skills doctors have when they are doing critical operations, how chefs are good at cooking different types of cuisines, and how patient teachers are when it comes to teaching naughty students. But as I grow older, my preferences have changed. I am now into Science and Technology related job which I am interested in. ***What is your spouse's ideal height range?*** I don't have a spouse yet and I am not planning to have one at the moment. But if my future spouse will have an ideal height range I think it will be 5'6 or higher. Well, my height is about 5'7 not bad for me, I am still qualified. There's nothing wrong with that, it's just a mere crush! If we are talking about women celebrities I will probably choose Liza Soberano and Selena Gomez. In the men's section, I always admire Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, and Ian Somerhalder. They are all good at acting! Especially in the Marvels Movie and Vampire Diaries series. ***What is the cutest dog breed?*** I love what Pitbull looks like! They are so adorable to look at and their chubby body and face as well as their cute eyes and nose. I saw some video about Pitbulls on Tiktok and I am hooked by it! ***What's your favorite Greek god?*** Artemis is my favorite god in Greek mythology. She is the goddess of the hunt, wilderness, wild animals, nature, and vegetation. I am more connected to nature, environment, and wilderness that's why I made her my fave. ***Do you have more girl or guy friends?*** I have a lot of friends but if I will base it on their gender, I believe that I have more girlfriends than guy friends. I don't know why but it's just that I am more comfortable expressing myself with girls. I believe that most girls are not a bad influence, focused more on studies, are fun to be with, and are protective and clingy. Maybe that's the reason why. I can't blame myself tho. Nothing to Write? Then Answer This! I've seen these random questions on Pinterest while I am searching for outfit inspiration for men. Since I don't have any topics to write about today, I decided to answer this and share it with you. I don't want to prolong the introductory speech, so without further ado let's begin! ***If you had a pen and paper what's the first thing you would draw?*** I am not that good when it comes to drawing but I know how to draw. Do you get what I mean? Well, I hope you do. If I will have a pen and paper in my hand, I will probably start making calligraphy art or I will draw a doodle. Back in my high school years, the back of my notebook became my blank canvas when I am bored so it's pretty messy if you will going to witness it. It is full of calligraphy art styles and doodle art with different sets of colors. ***Do you wear your favorite color often?*** Yes! Giving you a fact about me, I love neutral colors such as black, white, gray, beige, cream, and many more to mention. Almost all of my clothes are colored like that. Well, I have some other colors but I usually don't wear them. ***What is your favorite candle scent?*** I don't have any favorites in particular but if I will choose one maybe it is the scent of chocolate. I love sweets so much to the point that I want to consume sugar every day but gladly I can control it now for better health and lifestyle. ***What is the best Christmas activity?*** Aside from eating? I believe that it's the parlor games! I am looking forward to this activity every time since this can give me money! Right now if I will choose one, I would rather be close to the charity institutions that prioritize animal welfare as well as the environment. ***What childhood toy did you always want but never got?*** I am not choosy when it comes to toys to play with so I think this does not apply to me. My parents reminded me to be content with what I have. ***If you could be the best at any sport, what would it be?*** Badminton! I love playing badminton but I am not a pro player. At this point in my life, I am more imagining or planning to make myself better and achieve financial freedom to do what I desire rather than thinking about building my own family. I am enjoying my singleness! ***Do you have vegetables that you hate?*** I am not choosy either on foods, especially with the vegetables that I eat. A Surprise Hidden in the Wrong Door I can't help but feel ecstatic while watching my long-time crush Ivan playing basketball with his teammates. Ghadd! He has sweat all over his body but that doesn't make him look terrible, he just looks hotter and yummier in my eyes. The way he moves on the court with his fit body, the way he dribbles the ball in his veiny arms, the way he brushed up his jet black hair that keeps covering his deep brown eyes, and the way he shoots the ball on the ring makes me wanna pee in my pants because of overwhelming feeling! I feel like I am hyperventilating when I am seeing him. Is it normal? Or did I become crazy because of him? Kyahhhh! God, help me! I've been liking him for over three years now but I don't have the courage to tell him what I truly feel. I mean, he is a varsity player in our school that adores by almost all of the girls and gays on the campus. While me? I'm just a nerdy-looking girl that wears thick eyeglasses and holds numerous amount of books in my hands every day. I know that I don't stand a chance with other girls because they are prettier and sexier but I don't care! I will confess my feelings to him on the incoming prom night! He's now graduating from high school so it means that he will go to another place to continue his college degree. I don't mind if he turned down my confession or even if I will be the talk of the down on that day. All I want is for him to know that I have some feelings for him. Just like what my grandmother said, "**If you love someone then confess before it's too late. It's okay to try now than regret doing nothing.**" That is my only chance to confess and I am not going to waste it. I immediately stand up to the bleachers I am sitting on and take a last glance at him before deciding to go back home. On the following day, while I am sitting in the cafeteria, all I can hear is the prom event that will happen tomorrow. They are all excited and looking for partners while I on the other hand am thinking of a good plan and perfect timing for my confession. Should I shout it in front of everybody? Nah! It's too embarrassing for me. Or should I talk to him privately? I think that's the best option. For sure there will be no escape if I will do that. With that plan, I went to my classroom to continue my class and when it is finished I immediately go home afterward to prepare for tomorrow's event. I need a beauty rest, I need to look prettier, I need a makeover! **————— PROM'S NIGHT —————** The loud beat of the music is the first thing that you can notice as well as the disco lights hanging from the ceiling. There are a lot of students from different school levels dancing on the dance floor. Some are already eating each other's mouths like they are hungry for each other while some are contented drinking wine and talking. Even though I want to sit for a while I braced myself doing it. I tried to look for Ivan but I can't see him. Gosh! Where is he! I've been looking for him for half an hour now but I still can't find him. With that, I decided to drink wine for a while for me to calm my raging heart. I suddenly feel like peeing so I decided to went to the nearest bathroom. Without minding if it's a men's or a women's toilet. I immediately went inside and open one of the doors just to find out Ivan is half-naked while kissing one of his close teammates in basketball which is Josh. Due to my shock, all I can say is... How Productive is my Day Today I had mentioned in my previous article yesterday that I am having an author's block that's why I just browse for random questions on the internet and then answer them thereafter. (*If you haven't read it, feel free to click this* **link** *for easy access*). But today is different, I woke up feeling energetic and carefree. It's just like my inside battery has been fully charged that's why I am full of energy and so active. I can't help but think that maybe I am just too overwhelmed yesterday causing me to feel tired even though I don't do anything. https://read.cash/@Khairro/dont-mind-me-its-just-pure-randomness-c4c8a220 At least now I am feeling okay, right? To be honest, I am so proud of myself today because I manage to do a lot of things when I wake up in the morning. The very first thing that I did is to wash the super dirty containers. We used it as our garbage bin for biodegradable wastes that's why it's expected to be so dirty. I put a dishwashing soap and a little bit of stain remover (Zonrox) and leave it for half an hour before washing it thoroughly using steel wool and a sponge. I am satisfied with the result! The almost brown and blackish container turned into being pure white again. After washing the containers, I proceed to my daily morning routine which is to clean the house and cook a viand for our breakfast. Since my mother already marinated the chicken yesterday evening, all I did is to deep fry it. I just waited for how many minutes until all the chicken is cooked then I woke all of them by singing too loud char 😂 I woke them up by disturbing them one by one making them irritated with me. All I can say is...Mission Accomplished! Since I finished all the things this morning, I decided to make time for myself. I read some of your articles on my notifications, leave a comment, reply to your comments, and give some upvotes to your works. I did it for about half an hour then I proceed to play Mobile Legends a little bit to ease my boredom. I am glad that we won that morning or else my losing streak will continue. As of this writing, I keep myself busy with work. I did my programming assignment earlier and then passed it to my professor. After that, I decided to watch a course on Youtube about C programming which is our main language this year. I am enjoying the course but I can't help but feel confused about some topics, especially the functions and arrays. That's the main reason why I am putting so much effort into reviewing because I need to understand all of it, especially how it works. For all of you to know, I am watching programming tutorials on the Youtube channel of **freeCodeCamp.org.** It's not the only one that I am currently subscribed to there are so many more.
