She knelt on the carpet in her new living-room, a big cardboard box in front of her, unwrapping ornaments. She was so excited to decorate her new apartment that she wanted to unbox what she bought from the store first instead of her things.

Today starts her independence and it was a very momentous day for her. She was thinking and planning on how to decorate her room for the past few months. She wanted to make herself feel at home but at the same time she wanted to make the vibe a little bit inviting so when she invite over her friends, it will be a presentable and classy pod.

It will be her first time living away from her family. Well, she had experience living alone but those were just some few days away from home so they only felt like vacation or something, but this move, this is permanent and it is the start of her new life as a real adult woman.

She is now working in a city a hundred of miles away from their comfortable two-storey house in the suburbs. She's now away from the bed that she slept on for over two decades, she would surely miss what it was like to live at home and everything be in front of you but she's also so excited to be alone that she's currently not thinking about home.

She pulled out everything from the box and she held a little box on her hands. It was wooden and it looked so old. It was rectangular in shape and there weren't any engravings on it aside from the little golden hook in front of it that's keeping the box closed shut. She tried to think back of what she done in the market because she couldn't remember buying a box that old and that dusty. It doesn't really go well with the design and vibe of the apartment she was going for.

However, she was curious enough to see what the box houses so she scrutinised it all around. She even shook the box and placed it near her ear but she couldn't hear a thing. She could feel that the box wasn't solid but it was pretty heavy for it's dimensions.

She slowly unhooked the lock of the box and slowly opened it. As soon as she fully opened it, a music began to play and the tiny dancer inside it began to rotate.

It was a musical jewelry box. It was empty aside from the tiny dancer on it. The music was slow and it was soothing. And it sounded familiar to her ear. She listened a bit closer and it was really soothing that she her eyelids grow heavier and she couldn't help herself until her head fell onto her arm and she was asleep.

She opened her eyes and quickly shut them again before slowly opening them up again, it was just so bright. Too bright. The sky was so clear and the sun really glaring. She looked around and it seemed like she was outside all of a sudden. And it's not just any place out, she was out in a flower field. She was in the middle of it. Tall sunflowers are everywhere. She tried to walk ahead but it was endless.

"Alice...Alice..."

She looked around because she heard somebody call her name. The voice called out to her continously and she tried to follow it carefully. As she made her way to the field she found herself pushing aside the tall flowers and there it was in front of her. A rabbit standing upright with the help of a staff. It was dressed in a tux with a top hat on his hand.

"Alice, welcome back to Wonderland..."

Hiii!!

My apologies for the over-the-top greetings but I would just like to test if you are still awake or are you already halfway to dreamland.

It's another late night and I'm out here again with another freewriting exercise. Tonight, I'm seeking the help of my bestfriend, The Most Dangerous Writing App, and I left the decision on what to write to it. It was just so kind to spit out a prompt that I can work with in under 15 minutes.

The timer was started and the prompt goes like this:

And voila.

Of course this prompt is open to everyone who wants to use it. Your entries are always welcome to our community, Prompt Factory.

If you are without a topic or you find yourself facing a huge writer's block, then just try visiting our community and you may find one or two things to write about. It's filled with creative and fun prompts from our friends.

And if you have anything to say with the story tonight, feel free to voice out everything you want to say in the comment section down below, or you can message me directly.

So tell me, how do you like the story?

I forgot how my thought process took me through it and I really can't understand how a simple house cleaning or decorating took a turn to the fantasy world and straight to Wonderland.

Anyway, I would like to go there myself so that's gonna be it for me and I'm calling it an early night.

Until we read again...

Sweet dreams!!!

The story was so creative like the writer itself. I enjoyed reading it. It's always nice to see kids who grow and move out from home to start a life of their own.
