Let's talk about what habits we have, good and bad, and how we become addicted to them.

It is related to my bad habit and the "night snack" that I am sure about addiction with my efforts to try to give up after learning that I have become addicted.

I do not have any weight problems. That's why I never held back on snacks no matter what time of the day. I tried to eat whatever I wanted whenever I wanted.

After a while, I was constantly triggered by the urge to eat something close to bedtime. And each time, I succumbed to this urge and suppressed my hunger with always ready and easy-to-prepare foods.

I decided to give up this habit as I started to closely follow some programs related to maintaining a healthy life. I did not think that I would have any problems in the application.

But I noticed that the habit I mentioned became an addiction, especially near my bedtime and during my online studies. It was such an addiction that even the food advertisement that appeared in the middle of any movie I watched was enough to trigger my impulse and my willpower was defeated every time. Suddenly I found myself in the kitchen.

I say it like I'm out of this situation, but no. This addiction is still with me. I think that I need to eat something late at night and I make preparations in advance for my snack times and put them in the freezer. For this, I even compromise my shopping rule that I don't like. I go shopping just to buy special treats for snack times.

Fortunately, we are now in the month of Ramadan and I am fasting. I use the freedom to eat and drink to the fullest between iftar and sahur in the evening, and I don't have any difficulties as the part from sahur to iftar coincides with the daytime.

Although I do not have a weight problem and this does not reflect negatively on my physique, I want to get rid of my addiction to night snacks and ready-made foods due to the high cholesterol and blood fat ratio. I want to do this by eating healthy food, without using additional medical or herbal remedies to lower cholesterol.

No matter what I eat for main meals, I can consume all kinds of useful and healthy foods. I'm not picky about vegetables or food. The habit I want to quit is only about snacking the night before bed. On the one hand, I think about the pressure of going to bed as soon as possible, and on the other hand, I don't want permanent deterioration in my health due to hastily prepared snacks because of my tendency to eat snacks.

I have nothing to say about the taste of snacks, but it is a bad habit and addiction that I have to give up even if I don't want to because it negatively affects the health aspect.

Although I haven't completely gotten rid of this addiction yet, I hope that I can get rid of my habit of snacking at night and online, before it's too late, due to the busy work season.

Health is our most important wealth that cannot be bought with any value.

I used to sleep and wakeup in the middle of the night looking for what to eat,not until my stomach started protruding, imagine someone who is slim having a big stomach🤣.. I made up my mind not to eat late again and I worked towards it.

When I am healthy, I am not good with sleep. I sleep late, even when I have to get up early. Since I have a physical job, my time is limited. For this and similar reasons, I have to sleep late.

You can eat fruit instead of night snacks. Or you can limit yourself to only salty snacks, avoiding the sweet stuff. For example, try consuming only pretzels. Chickpeas may also be suitable. Of course, there may be a shortage of gas about chickpeas.

I usually crave snacks late in the night too especially when I am awake. What I do is drink water or just force myself to bed. Sometimes, I give in to my craving

Probably because sleep is more dominant. On the contrary, I get hungry more quickly at night because I don't sleep much.

It's also one of my problems because in the middle of the night I always get hungry. That's why I can control myself not to eat because it's hard to sleep when you are feeling hungry. That's why I always end up cooking instant noodles in the night.

you are somewhat the same as my cousin. He has this habit that he would always be cooking something and eating in the middle of the night before he sleeps. He's been like this when we has younger and now he's a grown-up already but still doing the same.

That is new to me, I never experience that kind of addiction as you said, eating snacks before bedtime hehe.. I hope you can get rid of it, eat healthy foods, snacks are okay but not always .. like you did .. 💚💚

I don't experience snacking at night let alone going to bed. I like to snack, but not at night because I'm sleepy😀. I think snacking at night is not wrong, it's just the choice of snacks we eat. snacking at night do not contain much fat or carbohydrates. Replace snacks with fruit or biscuits made from wheat, I think it's safe to consume

When fasting is good to be able to hold it as long as it doesn't become an arena for revenge when breaking the fast. Hopefully you are always healthy and your plans to stop snacking at night come true, at least replace a better snack

Good thing for me I was a night owl person so literally I need to eat something before going to bed and no need for snacks anymore lol. Sometimes I was into snacks before bedtime too especially during the holidays. I hope you can manage your snacking before bedtime, but they say banana is best or warm milk before sleeping, I thought this could help you to avoid unnecessary foods in exchange for your snacks.

I was like that before. I love snacking, but I just stop it and I don't know when it start. I always feel bloated that is why I stop eating snacks, like chips and sweets. I only have coffee or warm milk. I even avoid eating during the night, or late nights. It becomes a habit. I just started to stop but I don't know when I start doing that.
