Sam was a very vibrant man who is hardworking and cheerful, the entire people in the village love him so much because he has been responsible for so many developments in the village. He got married to a beautiful woman call Ewa (meaning beauty). Ewa was every man's dream wife but she chose Sam.
she is beautiful like her name implies and submissive to her husband. She got pregnant and she left the world due to complications while delivery. According to the information gathered, the nurse gave her the wrong injection. But the baby survive and was named Aderopo (meaning:-crown replacement).
Her death changed the status of her husband. He became depressed, lonely and sad. To overcome this, he became a drunkard and irresponsible that the whole village began to hate him. Four years after his wife died, his mother told him to re-marry to heal and also to have someone to take care of her son. For this reason, Sam needs to marry a new wife that will take care of his son and his dying mother. He met a new lover called Caroline who happens to be from another tribe. They got married, and he began a new life and also changed some of the attitudes he cultivated after Ewa's death. The new wife also got pregnant and gave birth to a boy he named Ayo (meaning Joy).
Caroline was training the two children together but was bias when it came to her son. Mostly when her husband is not at home and warns him not to let anyone knows how she is maltreating him. Ropo endures a lot of pain in the hand of his stepmother. A new company was erected in the village and employed Sam as a security man. This took a lot of Sam's time mostly at night. Whenever he is on duty he will have to stay all night at work. It doesn’t give him time to relate with his children and was confident they are fine with his wife.
On a certain night, While washing the plate, Ropo mistakenly broke a dish and his father wasn’t around. After being beaten up by his stepmother. She chased him out to go and get a replacement for her. He must come back with it before he would be allowed to stay in the house. He sat beside his mother's grave and wept for a long time. After this, he headed for the evil forests. After a long walk in the forest, he saw a small hut with smoke coming out of the roof. Ropo who is just a little above 10yrs was determined not to go back home. He enters the hurt and couldn’t find anyone inside it. He was happy to have found a new house for himself In the evil forest.
The next morning Caroline woke up and raise an alarm that she couldn’t find her stepson. She ran to her husband working place and report that Ropo failed to come back home after she gave him the permission to go and play with his friends. Sam laughed that she should not be troubled, probably he slept off at his friend's house and he will surely return home. She returned home with guilt in her mind and prayed she finds him first, so she can threaten him not to tell anyone what the truth his.

This is actually happening in our dispensation step parents abuse....i heard a neighbour say clearly that she will kill her step som and bury him right there and nothing will happen...this is a message to everyone out there I will like to know the other part.
