Go Buy Yourself Your Own Car
Commuting is somehow tiring and exhausting. We have to wake up early to catch the early rides to avoid the rush hour where a lot of commuters fight over vehicles just to get to their destinations. Some even have to line up to get a ride and in some cases, the minimum waiting time to catch a ride is an hour.
The transport system here in the Philippines is so bad. If you watch the news every morning and in the early evening, you'll see commuters queuing just to get a ride.
Anyways, let me share my experience yesterday as a commuter.
I rode the bus at around 10 am. This is the time where it is not rush hour and the buses are actually traveling slow. I don't have a problem with that since I am not in a hurry.
After settling down in my seat, the man that was seated beside me started complaining over the phone that the air-conditioning from the bus was not that cold. Well, I can attest to that.
I was already wearing my earbuds and after a few minutes, the man seated beside me started to argue with the bus conductor. I thought they were arguing because of the air-conditioning. The man was so angry and the bus conductor was in no way of letting it pass. They were really raising their voices.
My roommate whom I rode the bus with told me that the man seated beside me was angry. He can hear it from the back because of the loud voice. I asked him what the commotion was about and he clarified to me that the air-conditioning wasn't the problem. It was the bus stop. The man beside me was complaining that it was taking too long and he was in a hurry. That's why I heard the bus conductor telling the man that he should've been early and took the first trip of the bus.
The man beside me was so ridiculous and too petty! He even said that he took the air-conditioned bus to get to this destination faster. Lol! I was laughing internally when he said this. As if the air-conditioning has an effect on how the bus travels. Hahahaha!
As for me, I didn't even feel that the bus stop took too long. I was seated comfortably while using my phone. I just don't know why the man was so angry.
Clearly, the man who sat beside me was forgetting that he rode on a public vehicle where it picks up passengers from every bus stop and every side of the road. The bus driver and bus conductor were making a living out of their trip. He would have rode the van if he wanted to go to his destination faster or buy himself his own car.
I just want to say that we should be kind to the people behind the transport system, especially to the drivers and conductors. You can always take the first trip or be early if you want to get to your destination faster. Or if you're rich enough or have the money, go get your own vehicle.
Do not put up a show inside a public vehicle because you are not the only passenger. You may disturb other passengers who are taking a rest from their work etc. Go find a place where you can have tantrums.

Let's not forget to be kind, always. Be sensitive of the situation. Thank you for reading this!
