Cold breeze touched her pale skin while looking so at peace. And just like the birds flying freely, she spread her own wings like she own the world conquering all of her fears. No more worries, she's now like a calm ocean, so blue and so beautiful.
"Karin, Let's go! We'll be late for our subject. Did you miss our University that much. I can see Rose of Jack to you while you're spreading your arms, lol."
"Don't you miss this Marie, it's been what? It's been 1 and half years already since we last had out face to face classes. You know I can't really understand a thing when we're doing it online. A lot of distraction and all. Tsk." It's Karin showing her wide smile, you can easily tell that she really miss the life of being free and without minding the virus that everyone feared before.
Yes, the world she live in is now virus free. You can now see the flowing of student rushing to their rooms without thinking of social distancing. Everyone is free, everyone has no cover in their faces. And a wide smile was imprinted to all of their bare face.
"Let's Go, Karin!"
"Yayy! Let's Go!"

Karin is on her way home, walking alone. Marie's house is in different path, that's why her bestfriend is not with her. She is still smiling and thinking what they dis inside in the University. She missed those beautiful flowers in their wide garden in the University which is now in the upkeep of the Helper in the school. She also miss those tall trees that was dancing on the cold breeze.
"Ahhh, this is the life." She again spread her arms and look at the sky with her wide smile.
But she suddenly lose focus while looking at the sky because her sight become a little blurry. She hold her head because of the the sudden pain on it. It was so sudden and so painful that she fall on to the ground while still hodling her head.
Everything is becoming more blurry, she tried to move her eyes to look on the other side but it still the same. Another pain attack her head and that make her lost consciousness. But before her eyes completely close, she heard a voice asking her if she's okay.

Karin woke up at the nearby hospital in their neighborhood. She is with her Mom already and she's just waiting for them to finish their talking about the result of the test that they did to my body. She doesn't really know what's going on, so she just wait there patiently.
"Karin!"
"Mom, what's going on? Why they have to run some test on my body?." She immediately asked. She can feel that Something is not right base on the trace of tears in her eyes.
"Karin, Oh Gosh I don't know how to explain this. This is just so sudden, why of all people, why it has to be you.!!" Sobbing while hugging her, Karin can't help herself but also to cry.
"Mom, you're scaring me. What is really happening? Am I sick? What? Cut the suspense Mom. This is not a horror movie. Please!"
"Karin, you have Brain Tumor!" Karin's Mom was still sobbing while saying it. And Karin cry her heart out while still leaning to her Mom.
She can't accept it, a lot of thought was running on her head. Why is it so sudden, why now that everything is back to normal. Why now when she's finally free to do everything she wants.

"Did I really deserve this? Why? What did I do wrong to have this? Are you there? Are you even listening to all of our cry? Do you really have to test out fate to you this way, by giving this kind of problem to us? You are so unfair! We already solve the first one but then another one came."
Karina can't still accept the truth the she has a tumor in her brain. She was still in the Hospital Chapel, praying or it is even praying. Seems like she's questioning God by his plan.

Karina continue her life like nothing happened. She goes to school, bond with her friends, she smile and she laugh with everyone. Everything seems normal at her end but that's what they can only see outside. Because that's what Karina want them to see.
No one knows that she's suffering inside. Her parents thought that Karina is okay. But she's far from okay especially when night comes. When it's already time to sleep, where no one can hear here crying. No one can see and feel it. She chose to hide it to everyone. She want everyone to think that nothing is wrong with her.
She chose to fight her own battle without being a burden to everyone. She's dying inside but that's what she wants. Every night, she will just cry and the mixed thoughts was reason why sometimes she has sleepless night. And again, no one notice it because she's good in hiding it through applying make up.
And the physical pain that this sickness is giving to her, she's also hiding it. Even if sometimes she will just lost her consciousness while doing some activity. No one ask because they thought it is just a simple headache. Her vision and memory, she become forgetful and now also wear glasses just to hide her condition.
Days turns to week and weeks turns to month. 3 months has passed, Karina's parent is working hard to accumulate the amount needed to remove her tumor. It will cost them a lot for sure, but as a parents it's only natural for the parents to do anything that they can do, to save their precious child.
They will do everything just to give the life that their child deserve. They will do anything just to lengthen their child's life. And they are just doing it by making their night days. They work non-stop, they save and save and save. And after just a year, they already accumulated the amount they needed for the operation.

But they were too late already, because another outbreak of virus spread in the whole world. And the effect is very severe.
Just a simple saliva from the infected can cause a nausea, you'll vomit non-stop until all of the food you ate was all released and that's where you'll vomit a blood. And that's where everything will start, you'll experience a seizure. You're skin will turn into a pale color like someone sipped your blood out of your body.
And you'll go crazy after some time.
The world is in chaos, while Karina is locking herself in her room. Sleep, cry, eat, cry and sleep again, she already lost her will to live. After losing both her Mom and Dad because of overworking that caused a severe damage of her parents body. And she's blaming herself because of it. If only this thing didn't grow on her brain, for sure they are still alive now.
The Virus is spreading like a wildfire now. The world already lost a million of people and a thousand people was showing symptoms that if not cured immediately will die. No one knows, if how long this earth will last. Only him can tell.
Oh Gosh, this one is a bit off. I mean, this is not the ending that I want to put here but, I change again flow blame my mind UwU. I hope this story still make sense to you.
