Why do we watch movies?

14 more days to Christmas and I am still waiting anxiously for when I would travel home. School hasn't given us break yet but I know that should be next week or so. Grandma is always calling to confirm if I would be coming which I said "Yes, I am coming". She can't wait to see her second granddaughter 😁

I gave you all Christmas gifts yesterday and I am happy you received with love from me. May God keep making us happy and I pray we would see again in year 2022. Or am I too fast? Lol

I am not! Let's keep wishing ourselves to another new year.

Tell me who doesn't watch movies except you do not exist. Lol

Without movies, I don't think the world would be interesting. This is why we are being entertained with interesting movies anytime of the day. There are many reasons we watch movies and I will be listing them for us.

TO UNWIND

We all are always working everyday and at the end, we feel stressed. A body that keeps working and never rest will break off someday, you wouldn't like yourself. There are times you need to sit down, relax and take some breathe. That moment you decide to separate yourself from stress and work that would require that. At this moment, you can choose to go to the cinema to unwind and just to watch a new movie with your popcorn beside you as you munch it in your mouth and smiling, giggling at that funny moment especially watching a Bollywood movies full of actions 😁

Or perhaps, you can just sit down in your room with no one disturbing you. You and the movie inside while laughing out loud. In this way, you are releasing that stress away from you. It's good to watch movies especially funny ones to take those wrinkled signs off your face. You need it.

GETTING A TOPIC TO WRITE ON

I want to say that I have watched different kinds of movies and I develop my content with the title or most times, get a particular word being used. As a blogger, we do experience writer's block and this is just one of the perfect ways to get something for yourself. Whenever I watch a movie, I do focus on it because I want a particular word, phrase or sentence to use for my content and also for us to learn from it.

I know many of us do this and I must say, it's a good idea because we learn a lot in movies, why then shouldn't you summarize it for your readers to learn from too?.

TO LEARN NEW WORD

Repeating same word everyday will be insipid. This is why we need to keep updating ourselves with new words. Wait! Did you notice a new word there? "INSIPID". What does it means? I know some people like @McYusuf will start searching for the meaning 😅😅 it means "boring". I have learned many new words from movies which I write down in a book and find its meaning to understand what I am watching.

Also, a new word can pop up from the title of the movie itself and if you do not know the meaning, I bet you wouldn't understand what the movie is all about until you get what it means. So, whenever you are watching a movie, watch out for new words you haven't heard before and write them down. It's important.

A RECOMMENDATION

I really like those including myself who recommends us with interesting movies. Another reason we watch movies is because someone recommended it and even summarized its preview and it looks so intriguing, engrossing, pleasuring, compelling and any words we can add to it. We are then forced to watch it too. Many times, when a movie is recommended to us here or anywhere, I immediately write them down not to forget and at my leisure time, I download or watch directly online.

Should I recommend one for you right now? It's titled "Secret Society". It's interesting.

Another reason we watch movies is to feel something in us- love, fear, escape, peril etc. There are movies that talks about true life story and at that moment, you start to feel emotional. Do you believe some people actually change their bad behavior when they watch a movie that touched their hearts?

Some producers will tell you their reasons for bringing up a movie isn't to entertain people but to make them feel something, like being touched with emotions in the movie.

In conclusion, when you are watching a movie, have a reason for doing that. Among all reasons here, I know they worked for us. We surely do have one reason here we watch movies.
