Why didn't you add this? Not necessary?
“You’ll never come second by putting God first.”
I am still not getting something here at all. Many people just forget God in it and would keep listing other things, forgetting that if God didn't build the city, those who build it, do it in vain.
There was a challenge in the Ladies of Hive community on Hive last week in which one of the options talks about what defines a successful woman. I can't remember how it was put but something like that. I read different entries and it amazes me to see that there wasn't anything like “Put God first”. When I comment on some of them, I made them realize that without God in the ratio, every other thing is in vain.
I'm not being religious here but it's good to be realistic about many things especially when it comes to the matter of God. We can do nothing outside God because He created and made everything.
In the Bible, I was made to know that success comes from God. Wealth and riches come from Him. The biggest thing ever in this world that would keep other prerequisites of being a successful human being which is Wisdom comes from God.
“If any man lacks wisdom, let him ask from the one who gives liberally to every man”.
To me, if I need to mention the tips to become a successful woman or man as it may be, the first on my list would be;
Putting God first. Yes, in every plan you need to make, there must be a factor in it which is “placing God”. By committing to Him because He owns everything on earth. He owns wealth and riches. He owns prosperity. Have you seen a man who is wealthy or successful and does not involve God in it and lasts long? Such wealth can never last. You should read the story of the rich man in the Bible then.
We need wisdom to make our plan work well. We need wisdom to guide us in choosing the best step in making our efforts successful.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Fear in this context means reverencing and acknowledging God. If we all can always do this, then I don't think other tips would be difficult.
Be diligent. Even the Bible says prayer without action is useless. No food for a lazy man. The truth is that everything we need to be successful can be found in the bible especially the book of Proverbs. Have you seen a successful woman or man who isn't diligent in his work?
To be diligent is to be hard working. You don't sleep when others are working. We must know when to take rest and when to work. Both should be balanced in our lives. When you pray, you should take action too.
Be humble. Humility is the greatest attitude we must possess to be successful. You are not humble and you need someone's help to get to the top? My friend, it's impossible! You have to show humility to both young and old if you must make it in life. Being humble is also a sacrifice too and it must be found in you.
Be truthful. The worst thing that could happen to a man is for him to compromise his belief and ways of life. Just because you want to maintain that position, you start to keep the truth away from you. Do you think the truth won't be exposed someday? Even if you spend years in that position, it will shock you that the secret would be leaked out in one way and that could jeopardize your position especially if you are almost getting promoted to a higher position. In all we do, let's be sincere and truthful.
Be open and friendly. There is no need to keep malice with people. Be open but be careful not to lose guard while being open because you might be betrayed. Be friendly with others. Interact and never hold grudges. You might be holding grudges against someone who is meant to help you get to where you desire. Care for people and stay away from unforgiving hearts. Do not burn bridges but build them for later use.
Be prayerful. A prayerless life is a careless life. If you do not pray, it is impossible to reach the peak. Pray to God to help you and He will always be ready to support you in your journey in life. Do not underestimate the power of prayer because it does wonders.
There are many tips to becoming a successful woman or man but I only limit myself to these few ones.

Indeed, God makes all things possible. Especially in Iur part of the world that where one's success is nit only determined by hard workkkkk due to injustice, favorrtism and sentiments. One should seek for the Grace of God first . if its abroad, hat might be quite different because there'ss a level playing field for all
