Should I switch to being a vegetarian?
Many people are asking and wondering how vegans bear to eat vegetables and fruits in their life. It is a commitment and discipline. We know that there are many good foods everything. Are they not tempted to eat meat at least once? Eating vegetables is a good thing because we can get many nutrients and vitamins. I prefer to eat vegetable dishes with fish than meat.
I didn't grow up eating plenty of vegetables because back then, it is what my father hates to it. So my mother rarely cooks a vegetable dish and if possible, we have none in a full straight week. Most of the time, my mother cooks fish, meat, and other kinds of seafood because you know I lived near the sea. Dried fishes and squids are my favorite.
Are there vegetarians or vegans in your life?
I don't think we have vegetarians in our family. Most of us ate vegetables because we have a lineage of farmers too. My mother's side was a farmer and they grew up eating many vegetables in their lives. One time, they shared with us that if they don't have viand, they will go to the pond to get Kangkong and cook it in the Adobo recipe. Or they will get ingredients for Pinakbet and just add coconut milk.
My mother said that our grandparents are the ones who taught them to be resourceful in viand using the crops they have on the farm. If you lived on the farm, then you will have no problem being hungry. There are many fruits you can harvest as a source of snacks, viands, and foods. It is very common for them to live in that way.
What challenges have you noticed vegetarians and vegans sometimes face? What about the meat eaters around them — do they ever face any challenges as well?
I don't personally encounter people who are legit vegetarians, but I researched some of the problems and challenges they faced. They are eating too many fruits. Since they cannot eat meat, poultry, and beef, all they are holding into are fruits. Fruits in the morning, in the afternoon, and the evening. Plus, fruits as snacks and side dishes.
I am sure it feels heavy and tempting to not meat if you are practicing vegans for a starter. But if you are doing it for so long, around a year and so, then the temptation is lessened at least. We cannot avoid being tempted if we smell the meat cooking for shawarma. Shawarma meat is so good with vegetables and sauces. How sad vegans cannot enjoy it.
Are there any foods that you either choose not to eat or cannot eat?
I have the least favorite food to eat because I didn't like it at all. It is a lady's finger (okra), carrots, corned beef, and some processed food in the cans. My teacher in elementary told me how they processed it and what are the ingredients. From that day, I told myself not to eat anything related to them. It makes me puke.
I choose not to eat foods when I am not in the mood of eating them. We are picky about eating foods when we have mood changes and mood swings. I know this commonly happens to girls, but boys do have one too. It happens when something bothering the situation happens.
At your home, are there food items that some people eat while others do not? If so, how does this affect meal preparations?
As I said, my father doesn't eat vegetables and my mother wants one. So my mother prepared separately from the ingredients she will use. Usually, we have one vegetable viands in the morning and it will last until dinner. Just reheat it over and over again. In that way, we can save money too.
My mother sometimes prepares meals that we don't usually eat and when that happens, for sure, our viands will last long. She commonly does it when she has limited money and wants to preserve the food longer. I hate it actually because I cannot eat much rice as I want. Eating seafood every day is not healthy too. Too many fats and cholesterol.

Is $1 Billion too much for me to handle?
***"Money, money, money! Where are you when the day I needed you the most? O' money, just stay with me until everything's okay."*** We cannot live right now in a good state without the help of money. Money was the main currency we use to buy and trade something. What if there are no poor and rich? Is money will be important and still be valued?
I didn't write yesterday because my father went home from Batangas. He had a lot of fruits and some souvenirs. He looks like he gained weight because the last 2 week he was not with us was he didn't have some tummy bump. It means my father has a lot of foods in Batangas where he stayed for couple of weeks. We went to mall and dine in Chowking.
As for today's blog, I will talk about what if I have a $1 billion in my account and what is my opinion on having it. This huge sum of money is surely will give us more freedom and happiness because we can buy anything and travel to places we want to. How careless if we spend this money in less than a decade. How I wish we all have $1 billion in our BCH wallets.
Should anyone have a billion dollars?
Money is for people and if people have a billion dollars, then it's okay. If their money came from a clean business and from hard work, why would we stop that person achieving this huge sum of money right? I can say that everyone should not have own a billion dollars because we clearly know that many of us are impulsive and we might do something bad.
For example, someone bullied you in the past and you still hold a grudge in that person. If you have a billion dollars, I think the first thing you would do is to hire a gunmen, torture him and even use some connections so that no one will ever hire him in any work. Having a billion dollars are very powerful. It means you can buy political power.
Is there a limit to how much money a person should have?
I don't think it is necessary to put a limit on how much money a person should have because if we put the limit, how it works? If I reached the maximum amount of money a person own, where will my incoming money to go to? It means the excess money will go to the government or organization who supports poor families? Ideally, it is not good at all.
We have freedom. Look at Elon Musk who is now a richest man in the world with overwhelming net worth of $225.2 billion. If someone like him had to be restrained in acquiring more money, I think Elon will not expand his business anymore. It was not a good idea to have limits. Limit is applicable for something that will not restrain our freedom.
Are billionaires a sign of a country’s health or weakness?
Interesting! I think the more billionaires a country has, it means the country has a good opportunities. The economic status and stand of that particular country is good. But it doesn't mean that it is good at all. There are countries who have many billionaires, but look at how their country works? I will not mentioned any country since that is against the rules.
Billionaires and millionaires are sign of the country's good standing in the world. Many people should possess a good sum of money because if we all have that, I think corruption and poverty will cease to exist. Just above the money like less than a million dollars are enough to cover our daily expenses, needs, and wants in life. It is amazing if we all have that.
Are billionaires helping or hurting society?
I don't know how billionaires work in our society, but I think in the Philippines. Billionaires owned many large companies and multi-national businesses which helps the needs of the people. Many famous establishments and business are very helpful like brands, services and malls. I love malls. SM and Robinson's are the two best mall in the Philippines.
Some part of me believed that some famous and powerful individuals are pulling some strings behind the back of our government. Their power and connections are astronomical. We cannot have evidence, but we can see what the effects in our country. In all, can we handle a billion dollars in our account? What would you do in this huge sum of money?

Should everyone need to go to college?
Since I was young, I dreamt to enter a good university when I graduate in senior high school. It was a dream for every high school student like me to pass the entrance examination and interview of our preferred university or college. My mother frequently told me that if you have diploma, and will work in a good company. It will help you enter it.
However, not everyone is given an opportunity to study in college level because of many reasons. It is sad for a student not to enter college because his/her parents are not capable to sustain the needs. Heartbreaking to hear some testimony from our church about students who graduated with laude even if they have to work at night and study in the morning.
There are great testimonies from YouTube, Facebook and other social media platforms about students who pursued their academics despite of their low financial status. I recently watched a successful businessman who worked as Jollibee crew back then, and now owned many businesses. He made it possible because of his perseverance and belief in himself.
Do you plan to go to college, take a gap year, start a training program, begin working or something else?
I am currently a grade 11 student, I plan to go to college after I graduated in senior high school. I also plan to take BS Electrical Engineering because I really like electrical stuffs. We have a cousin who graduated the same course I wanted to pursue. But, if our money lacks and cannot be able to enter college, I will ask some support from my cousins who are currently working.
Do your parents, classmates and teachers support your plan?
I haven't told my plans to anyone yet, but my parents surely will give their support. I know our parents will not let anyone of their kids to be a strayed in somewhere place. They always want the best for their kids and education is their priority. It is not a priority, but it is their responsibility to give an education for their children. I think it is one of the rights of a child based on the law.
My friends and I are planning to get into one university, but this depends on our luck. We are not all sure whether we will all pass the entrance exam, but we are hopeful we do. Since we are just senior high school now, we want to be more optimistic because anytime a pandemic will happen again. We are all aware how much time and opportunities this pandemic got from us.
Do you think everyone should go to college? Or should our society offer students more alternatives to higher education? Why?
We cannot force other families to send their children to college because in the current situation we have now. The inflation keeps on rising and the market prices are very high. Though there are some increased in wages in Cavite, but barely enough to sustain the family needs. I think every children deserved to get into college.
College levels are the heaven for students like me. Reaching this phase in our academics will allows us to be engaged and hone our very skills and abilities in life. There are many things we can be improved in college including our skillset and passion in life. Most of the college students wanted to achieved something in life and that will happen in higher probability when they get college diploma.
But in some cases, college degree doesn't mean you are surely get a successful life and career. You still have to make everything possible and work hard for it. I see a lot of successful people and even famous personalities that don't have college degree yet look at the lives they have now- successful and happy. One thing is for sure for me, I want to get in college and make a difference.

I learned foreign language and it's hard
Have you ever read a foreign language, but you cannot understand because you are not familiar with it? Many times, I was wondering on YouTube to watch random videos and when I encountered Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, and Thai language. Even if I want to read the caption, but I cannot. Also, I cannot understand what they are speaking too.
When we encountered a foreign language like Korean? I know Korean dramas are really trendy right now. From watching the K-dramas, we learned new words and I, myself, was also learning from it. The basic greetings like Annyeong or hello/hi. Is it right? Or I misunderstood the Korean translation of hi? I think there are ways of saying hi in Korean depending on who you are addressing.
How important is knowing a foreign language?
My teacher told me in History that learning a foreign language can sometimes save us or save others. Not save the lives, but save the time for looking direction, places and tours. In Manila, there are many foreigners from different countries. If you encountered one and ask you about where should he takes a bus, and you cannot speak English. Then, how could you answer him?
Ignoring a tourist like him will have the impression that Filipinos are not friendly and amiable. So, to answer the foreign, you should have known how to speak English. It is okay if you are not fluent, but you have the courage and guts to speak at least the basic. In that way, the foreigner can get a good answer from you. You don't know, he might treat you afterwards.
What languages can you speak, read or understand?
I am still young and I do not have broad interest of learning foreign language. The two languages I know of right now is Tagalog and English. I do not speak other languages except some greetings from Korean, Japanese and Spanish. When you are watching anime, then you can learn a lot of Japanese. Sometimes, I prefer not to download a video with subtitle because I can understand it.
Of course, I can speak well the my mother tongue which is Tagalog, but I cannot speak Tagalog straightly. I think there is no Filipino who can speak Tagalog so fluently without using English as a side words. I can also speak English, but not fluently. I am still loading and thinking sometimes the translation of Filipino to English words.
What challenges did you face in acquiring a new language?
Learning new language is very challenging because you have no idea how to pronounce the word and what are the constructions of their sentences. When I study Spanish because I watched the series The Money Heist, I cannot understand it unless I read the subtitle at the lower part of the video. I think learning Spanish became easy because Tagalog and Spanish have similarities.
During the learning period, I think it's important if we can chat or talk someone who speaks Spanish fluently. In that way, you can see the progress of your learning and you can apply what you understand. It will be hard, but when you give it a shot to learn and talk in the particular language you learn, then it is okay. You have a good opportunity when you go to countries who speaks Spanish.
If you were to study a new language, what would it be and why?
The new language I would want to learn is French because I would love to go to France. French is very complicated language because of their accent. It is noticeable when you are just learning to speak French because your pronunciation is not on point.
I wanted to learn a foreign language because it has some benefits in the long run. There are plenty of ways on how we can learn. YouTube offered a lot of channels that we can watch how to speak, write, and create a sentence. I think that is a wide benefits of watching YouTube. Then, you can download books online for free so that you can enhance your understanding.

Why being a boy is hard?
It was a joke for some people to think being a boy is hard. They say being a boy was easy and you will not encounter much pressure than girls. But that is not true at all. In this generation, being a boy is hard because there are many stereotyping and gender roles you need to comply. A boy is not a full-grown man. A boy is an age where he is only starting to discover himself.
There are many reasons why a boy didn't tell his problems and share it with others. Only few boys have the courage and guts to tell their parents that they are experiencing something hard. The society think that being a boy is a preparation for being a man, and you must stand tall for yourself because one day. You will not only stand for yourself, but your family.
What’s the hardest thing about being a boy? What specific pressures or challenges do boys face?
The hardest thing about being a boy is becoming a boy itself. There are expectations people wanted to see from you and you must have a strong physique. They will expect you to become something you don't really want to. You must play basketball. You must get girlfriend. You must build your body because if you are too thin, they will tell you that just for few blow of air, you will be gone.
The pressure of being a boy is the peer pressure. Peer pressure for boys are a bit higher than girls I think. It is because when boys set a plan, it will happen no matter what - whether rain or shine. Boys would give you a straight, frank and no colorful words when they are giving you advises. Peer pressure for boys are compact and solid. You cannot say no unless you have a life and death situation.
What are the good or best things about being male? What are the advantages that society provides for boys and men?
The best thing being a boy is, we don't have a monthly menstruation because if we do, that's a horrible pain. We are very lucky that boys don't need to buy monthly napkins and pads. We are lucky that we can take off our shirt when we are sweating and hot. Unlike girls, they can't do that because of their breast and it is very inappropriate.
Being a boy can lead us to many opportunities, but those opportunities will only be successful if we work hard for it. Right now, what a boy can do is also suitable for girls. Girls can do what boys can whether it is household chores or job opportunities. But still, there is still a stigma that boys are powerful and superior than girls. I believe we are equal in any ways.
Tell us about a specific time you learned what is expected of you based on your gender?
I have this experience when I was in grade 8 that I used leggings because we will dance for a certain event at school. When I bought the leggings, the vendor asked me who will wear it. I said, I am the one who will wear it for school. She told me that it is not appropriate for a boy to wear it, but I told her that we all boys in all section will wear it, not just me.
This kind of gender-based stereotyping is really wide and deep. We cannot blame them since their generation has poor knowledge and acceptance in the current trends. I also think that wearing a leggings are not bad at all. Yes, it is a bit fit, but I don't use it for daily clothes. I used it specifically only for the dance competition of our school.
Do you think it is harder to be a boy or man today than for your parents or grandparents? Why or why not?
I think in my grandparents era, they are more stricter than the current generation. Their beliefs about boys being a boy is firm, strong and solid. Boys should be masculine and will help their father in work. I remember my grandpa told me that he always tasked to help in the farm as a young boy.
I believe I am still lucky because in some ways, some girls game can be played by boys now. And boys game can be played by girls too. That is how the society change and this is a good change now. I think there are many changes to happen, but it will not change a fact that whether you are a boy or girl, it is hard to be one.

Should parents track their teenager's location?
The growth of technology seems to move up each year. The development of devices, tools, machines and gadgets are becoming more trend for companies. So, it is not impossible for us to track someone within our family using any technological devices. But for some reason, there are parents who are paranoid when their teen's left home, and the only thing possible to see them safe is location tracking.

There is a good and bad side of location tracking depends on the intention and objective of the one who will track the location. This is a good feature in our Android phones when we lost it because we can track where our phones are. The main reason why we should open our GPS location is because of this very reason when we lost our phone accidentally.
Do you think parents should use technology to track their teenager’s location? Why or why not?
I think parents should only use technology to track their child's location when they are missing or emergency purposes such as his presence is immediately needed. I understand the parents' worries and paranoid when their child goes out, but it should not be that way. When the child found out that he was being tracked by his parents, he will be mad.
You feel unsafe. You feel watch. And you feel untrusted because your parents are tracking you. I think when our parents are tracking us, it means they don't fully trust you. I will not agree to my parents if they have a plan to track my location when I go out with my friends or going out somewhere. It feels like you have nowhere place safe to go.
If not, are there any special circumstances when you think it would be acceptable? What are they and why?
Yes, there are circumstances when it is acceptable for me to be tracked by my parents. These circumstances are based on what I experienced so far and would need my parent's assistance to track me. The first one, when I am kidnapped. It is insane and stupid to say this, but who knows what will be happened in the future. I will appreciate my parents more if they track me fast.
The second thing, when I lost my phone and I am unaware of it. Although they are tracking my phone not me, but my phone is still part of me so I will consider it as mine. I wish it not to happen. The third thing, when I was lost and cannot find my direction. This happened when I went to Laguna alone to find my aunt's wedding reception. I was left behind back then.
What advice would *you* give to parents who are considering tracking their children?
Please reconsider what will your children would say and think if they found out that they are being tracked. They will be mad at you. Also, you should know that teens nowadays don't want to be felt restricted or watched because they are now fully aware of their rights. Their rights to protect their own privacy and secured it to all people even parents.
It is hard to see your children not at home, but they have to go out and discover themselves. It is a process of growth and development that even the nature has to follow. Tracking is not a choice. Trust should be put to your children and you have to do it willingly. You are the parents and you understand it better than anyone else how it feels when your parents restrict your movements.
Overall, location tracking has an advantages and disadvantages depend on the purpose. Before you track someone else., you have to be sure that person will not be offended or you have permission to do so. Tracking people has some against to privacy and security. Also, parents do not track your child unless necessary.

Our actions always face consequence
Is it alright to do something wrong, if no one knows or finds out about it?
When we say to do something wrong means you have the intention to do it whether you caught or not. We are not perfect being that we don't make mistake in our lives. Often times, we made mistake every single day. It was unfortunate to know others that they commit crimes because they have no choice. They might have choices, but only lack good results.
In the first place, why are doing something wrong if we can do something righteously? I believe life is full of surprises, choices, and consequences. Whatever actions you did now, it is like a wave that travels until the shore and will only stop when it hits the end of the seashore. The water will go back again and collect your actions then waves back to the shore again.
The action that ripples
Our actions ripple to the people around us and it will be very evident when the impact was already hit them. Many time when we made mistake and we know how it will impact our family, friends, classmates, and some people around us. I think we are very aware of how our actions will affect them, yet we still continue doing bad things.
Do you still remember the biggest and impactful action you ever done that it severely affected a lot of people? We all have this bad and impactful action. And I think mine was when my teacher caught my classmate cheating, and I was the one who were asked if he really did or not. I told them that I saw him handling a paper but I didn't know he is actually cheating. When he confessed that he cheated, he told that they are 8 of them.
The action that sweeps
How many times we do good for people whether intentional or not. The only thing that people will remember is our bad action. It is like you did 99 good actions, but the remaining 1 bad action is what people will remember to you. This is a sad fact that really happens until now. I wonder why people remember our bad deeds than good actions we did.
When we look closely, it is very unfair because your good actions will be swept by bad action. It will wipe out your good intentions done to the people. I wonder why people do that, even I remember the bad action done to me rather than their good intentions. I think there is a psychological explanation behind it. I just don't know what and how it works.
The action that covers
They say love covers it all, all your sins, all your mistakes, all your past, and all the things you done wrong. But what if the cover removes? It means everything that is cover in that part will be shown to others now. It will be bad if others saw your negative and dark side because one thing is for sure to happen. They will judge you for whatever it is.
But should we cover everything and hide it? We have many reasons why we should hide it and why we should tell it to others. But I think the best solution is depend on the situation and the heavy of your actions. As I said, we are not perfect. We made mistakes and we will make mistake in the other days. So how much try you cover it all, there will be a time when it will come out eventually.
Is it alright to do something wrong, if no one finds out about it?
There is no justification for doing something wrong and bad most especially if others life is affected or on the line. We must take note that before we make something wrong, be sure that no one will be be affected, but ourselves. When you do something wrong intentionally, always be prepared for something bad that comes back to you.
Also, why we will do something wrong in the first place? Is there no choice at all? If no one finds out about what you did, then it should be the last time you will do it because in the second time you will do it again. You might caught and be punished by it. Everything is in accordance to the law, and the law will make you disgraceful, humiliated and bad to all the eyes of people. And we know that we cannot bear that for long.

We cannot outrun the value of money
“*Money can’t buy happiness*“, but can one ever truly be happy without money?
For you to be able to live properly, you have to eat, build a house, buy clothes, cook foods and all of these things are anchored in money. They say that money can't buy happiness, but is it really true? There are a lot of reasons why money becomes a happiness for others. It is not because they love money, but they value their own money.
I will not deny that when I hold money, my excitement to buy something is intensify. How could we live without the presence of money? With the absence of money in our lives, it means we cannot be able to buy and reach the place I want because the only thing that can save me is money.
The value of money
The huge value of money is not because of its currency exchange, but on how we treat the money itself. It is hard to control ourselves to dispose money aggressively without thinking will it be beneficial to me or not? There is no wonder why people fell down because they don't treat money as part of their basic needs. Instead they treat money as disposable thing.
One thing I notice why poor families spend impulsively is because they don't have enough knowledge about how can they able to expand and grow the money. There are poor families won in sweepstakes with a huge amount of money, but why they become poor just couple of years? It is because they don't have the means to value and to give importance of their money.
The exchange of money
What I am talking about is not the currency exchange of money, but how far we can exchange something for money? There are thousands reason why we need money and it depends on our need. The basic exchange of money is our service, the service to work and to comply for a certain company. There are billions of employed individuals all over the world in exchange for money, the salary.
The other service I am referring to is the service for body use. This is an extreme service that only few people do, but right now, it becomes a trend online. There are content platforms like Onlyfans which is you will be paid in exchange of your videos and photos. It will be paid by users and some will subscribe to your channel for monthly basis.
The importance of money
On how we give importance to money is based on how much we experience in life. The poor people who fights back to reach middle class to upper class is commendable. That's why they have this sense of importance for spending their money because they don't want to go in their former class. You will know a person who gives importance to money when that person is poor, but have a lot of savings in the account.
Sometimes, you will wonder why kids born in the middle class to higher have a mindset that they will not be poor because their parents work or have stable income in the business. It results to spend money impulsively and they treat money as tools that they can just dispose anytime without thinking how much efforts their parents did to earn it.
Money can't buy happiness, is it true?
Money is indeed cannot buy happiness of a certain individual, but the money itself is the one creating happiness for people. Most of the things in this world is powered by money and if you don't have money then you will be like a beggar in the street without a home, a family, and foods to eat. Your life depends on the mercy of people walking by in front of you.
We cannot be happy without money because that is the currency of this world. You cannot choose not to have money it will cause a great impact in your life and I know we don't want to be poor. The reason why we are here is because we write and we earn money. Aside from the reason of we love writing, it is just the matter of how much we earn in read cash.

Why people are hesitant in pursuing what they desire?
A crazy world often offered us crazy opportunities and it was planted in our hearts. And this sometimes lead to becoming a desire to pursue. Each of us have desires, and these desires are physical desire, intellectual desire, sexual desire, and economic desire. But amongst the mentioned types of desire, what is the most hardest to pursue?
Have you ever unfold yourself because you are afraid and hesitant to pursue what you desire? Think of it very deeply because sometimes it leads us to be unhappy for a very long time. When our desired don't meet and didn't happen, it leaves a broken and longing space in our hearts. If this happen, it would be shaken extremely.
I listed three reasons why people are very hesitant in pursuing and making their desires satisfied. These lists are based on my knowledge and experience. The experience of a 17 year old student. So, this maybe a little be shallow and not deep for adults. But let me try to give at least a justice.
Fear of getting lost and failed
This is common why we don't pursue our desire because we are afraid of the consequences it has. The following consequences are the reason why it becomes heavy in our hearts to become hesitant. We have this portion in our heads that if we do this, others may hate me or no one will support me afterwards.
Lack of belief
When you are hesitant, it means you don't believe yourself much to win and become successful in that desire. Lack of belief produces more fear and hesitation because you cannot trust yourself, the people around you and the Lord itself. There are reason why we lack beliefs. It may cause from the past rejections, failures and people don't show support.
Do not know where and when to start
I think this is also the reason why we are hesitant. Although it was clear in our heads what the desire is, but we cannot make a concrete plan on how we will execute it. The main problem for people encountering this problem is their resources, time and support that is available. I hope when you manage to process and plan everything, you have the ability to make it as reality.

It was a good time for me because this is the only time we can spend time like this. Everyone's busy at work and some of them are still studying and will take their final exams. This is the photo of what we eat yesterday. It was just a simple boodle fight and we forgot to get the Nilagang Baka at the back of our house. What's funny is we just remember when we almost finish the food so there's a lot of Nilagang Baka left. It was a memorable memory for me because I haven't experienced this with them for so long.
Family bonding and spending time with the family is always worth it and not a single time is wasted. I wish we can be neighbors with all of my family soon so that we have to see each other everyday. Is it easier to love or be loved?
This morning my mother asked me to look for a guava leaf because she needs it to drink. Her stomach is not doing well since yesterday so guava leaf is a herbal drink for her to drink. I went to our neighbor's garden to get some. Since our neighbor is still sleeping, I don't bother to ask for permission because it is okay. We are neighbor's for almost 15 years now.
I got new guava leaves in its very peak. It smells good too. I went home and my mother boiled the guava leaves so after we ate breakfast, she will drink it. It is my usual routine in the morning to feed our doves and dogs. Our doves are increasing in numbers and the new doves who lay eggs are 6 now. Sooner or later, it will hatch the new baby doves.
My father is still not at home. I mentioned before that he would be attending a work in Batangas with his friends to do something in the farm. He told us that he will be staying there for few weeks more. He is also learning how to breed some animals like horse, cows and chickens. While learning, he is also earning at the same time as a helper, so it is a win-win situation for him.
I found some interesting topics and questions yesterday. It was actually some of those questions, I already answer and I want to continue it today. Also, I am so happy and overwhelmed to all the congratulatory messages and comments yesterday. I just smiled reading and replying to each of them. It was a beautiful day to start the new month.
How much money would it take for you to kill or harm another human being?
Interesting! Killing and harming someone is a different thing. When we say to kill, it means you have the intention to put that person in rest, while to harm means to subjectively or not to put that person in suffer. I would prefer to harm than to kill because no amount of money can bring back a dead man's body. Also, to kill is something far inhumane just for the sake of money.
Is it better to die fighting for your beliefs or to sit patiently waiting for an opportunity to induce change?
I think it depends on the situation because if the cause is worth fighting for then why not to fight until we die for that cause. But when it is not worth it, why would we risk ourselves to the cause that we will not be benefitted or any of our family. What for, right? So, it's better to sit patiently and let others do the job of heroism if they can. In this time, you will be recognized for a day, and will be an enemy tomorrow.
Does it matter if a person is moral or not, if he/she is truly happy?
To become truly happy is the new goal of everyone. We have few friends or families that we can say they are truly happy. So, if that person is really happy whether if that person is moral or not, then go for it. We only live a onetime life and why would you waste your time spending to unworthy things and people. Do what you think would make you truly happy. It is a choice though.
Is it better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all?
The best feeling in the world is to love and feel loved. I think it is better to have loved and lost because at least you try it without regrets. Also, when you love you have experienced the best feeling and when you lost you learned something from that relationship. You can use that lessons to avoid relationship or people similar to it. You don't lose at all.
Is it easier to love or be loved?
It is easy to love because you can do that to any person you like, but to be loved is so difficult. Maybe people would care or adore you, but not love you. To love is to give yourself away and attract that person to you. Isn't it feels good when your crush, crushes you back? Sometimes, you both would ended up being together. Just love as much as you can.

Who decides what the society perceives to be right and wrong?
Sometimes, the society would give us the power to enhance ourselves or destroy others. The word society is a big, wide word that we can us. There are many society existing start from the smallest to biggest, from public to private and from known to unknown society. It is difficult to say what exactly is the reason behind the flows and trends of the world.
Can you see the outgoing problems in the society right now? There are plenty of them to enumerate because it is depend on what kind of society you are belong. According to sociologists, a society is a group of people with common territory, interaction, and culture. Social groups consist of two or more people who interact and identify with one another.
I found some philosophical questions about society and when I review it, I know it is a good topic to answer and discuss. Philosophy involves the study of fundamental problems regarding reality, existence, reason, mind, etc., in order to gain a deeper understanding about the world we live in. Meaning, it is hard to pinpoint the origin so we just need interpret it in our way.
Is stealing ethical, if carried out in order to feed a starving family?
I remember a good movie that is the exact answer for this question. Do you remember the movie Robinhood? Well, we all know and familiar with him. He stole goods and money to rich people and give it back to the poor ones. Now, is it ethical or not? I think it is not important whether it is ethical or not because if those rich people have the guts to steal from the poor, then why don't the poor steal it back?
If the standard of living of a population steadily improves, does the wide gap between the rich and poor still matter?
When we say rich and poor, there is a distinct difference between two and that is wealth. I think it is very important to have a gap between the two because if these two flatten and meet in the graph. Who would be the one to work and pay? I don't see the purpose and goodness of equal footing in terms of wealth. I think people would not work for each other because the reason they work is because of money, the salary.
If a day is spent doing enjoyable activities instead of working, is it a day well spent or a day wasted?
There is no wasted day when you do thing is making you happy regardless of what kind of works and activities it was. Working doesn't mean your day will not be wasted because sometimes others don't want to work, but force to do it. It means the waste their day for a work that they are not happy about. I think as well spent day is when you are happy and satisfied after you have done something.
Is failing at something worse than not attempting it in the first place?
No, failure is part of a success and when you fail, it is okay. It doesn't mean you become less of a person. Not attempting to do it is worse because you don't have the courage and guts to overcome the wall in front of you. I think the best thing in failing rather than not attempting is the fact that you experience it while you are alive. We are not sure whether we are still alive tomorrow for attempting to do that thing.

Let me clear this to you, we are are the society itself so who decided to be right and wrong is us. Sometimes, the most scary part of being part of the society is you are force to judge someone that you don't like to judge. Right now in the social media, we can see how broad and publicly criticizing someone because of whatever he did. We decided what he did is wrong and right, then judge him accordingly.
This is a sad part of the society right now. Even if we don't have physical war like country's war or local's war, but the new war right now is online. The war that is unstoppable and continuous to happen over and over again. Whether you are right or wrong, it doesn't matter online. What they see and what they believe is the most important thing for them.

Cookies and cream overload!
It was a heavy rain last night and the doves are just keep coming in to our house. Some of the doves can come in because there is a spot in our house that they can enter there when strong thunderstorm is happening. There are some in the terrace and some are outside. So when I wake up, I hear my mother is cleaning something. She is cleaning the dove's feces.
Since it is Tuesday, there is no event or going out because I think this is our rest day. So most probably, my mother and my sibling will be staying at home for the whole day. My mother is cleaning the terrace and I know it will be continued until inside. She will clean the toilet, kitchen, living room and our bed rooms. And aside of that, we will clean the bird's cages.

I have answered this in her blog and my answer is basketball. Basketball is the most favorite sport of Filipinos and even I play it with my friends. Last week, we failed to bring the championship in our barangay. If players are drunk, I think it is very hard to shoot the ball in the basket. It would be so funny to watch that both teams are not scoring anything because they all missed it.
**If animals could talk, which would be the rudest? Why?**
The most attitude animal for me is snake. I think if snake can speak, it will always shout and hiss to us all the time. They are very sensitive and territorial. I guess if you found snake in the grass with its partner. It would say likes this, "What are you looking at? Go find your own partner and do the damn thing!" Sorry for the word, snake it is.
**Would you rather sneeze for an hour or have hiccups?**
This is hard question because I don't want to sneeze in public for so long because they might suspect me that I have covid virus or any variants. I would rather have hiccups because I can still bear with it and hiccups are treatable. Also, I think hiccups didn't occur continuously. It has still some time lapses before another hiccup is made. You will not wish to sneeze inside the bus or jeep because they will all look at you like a madman.
**Who do you wish would run for President? Why?**
Since there is no indication whether it is alive or not. I would highly suggest if we can make Dr. Jose Rizal as the president of our country. Rizal would be a perfect president because he has it all. His intelligence and experiences can make this country great and alongside with his friends during the time he was living. I cannot imagine how much the Philippines would be after their administration.
**What's your favorite holiday?**
There are many holidays and I think the most favorite of mine is Christmas holidays. Who wouldn't love to give and receive gifts right? Also, the amazing seasonal foods can be eaten so free in different houses. The godparents are very welcoming and they will entertain you while you were in their houses. I love Christmas holidays because in this span of time, I gained weight until new year.

I am always choosing and drooling to cookies and cream overload. Since I was young, whenever I eat ice cream, I told my mother to choose cookies and cream and until now. I ate several cookies and cream style in different brands and ice cream stores. I love the ice cream when it has big chunk of cookies. I enjoyed eating it and feeling it inside my mouth. My first ever cash out in read cash
Yesterday, my brother and I went with our neighbor's sea experience because their cousins from the province visited them. They asked us to come and joined swimming. We didn't declined their offer and immediately change our clothes for swimming so that at least we are comfortable. We waited for their cousins to change clothes. There are 2 girls and 3 boys. 4 of them are in the same age as me so we just get along easily.
When we are hopping the boat, Vic who is their cousin was really nervous because he ha has no experience riding a boat. Al though they came from the province, but they are for far away from the sea. It is his first time and he hold on the boat so tight. When the generator started to function, the boat immediately went forward. We have their father with us who is managing the generator.
We strolled back and forth. I enjoyed the strolling around in the sea because the wave is calm which is perfect for swimming too. Tonton and Jevs, our neighbors jumped in the sea and swim. Actually, you will not sink even if you want to sink. You will just float and balancing is hard for first timers. I jumped too and swim around the boat. The boat's generator is off so that we cannot get harm from it's blade. The blade is very scary and it can cut even your bones. All fishermen knew this.
After an hour in the sea, when the sun light becomes too hot. We started to hopped in the boat and went to the shore. We all enjoyed swimming except for Vic because he is so scared of jumping and swimming. He just put his two feet in the water while we were all swimming happily. When we got home, our mother is cooking banana with sugar. It's our snack in the afternoon and we bought two bottles of Coca-Cola from the earnings I got here.

More internet providers target the Philippines
How would you feel every time your internet slows down in the most crucial part of online classes, work meeting and watching movies? We feel irritated and we just shouting like on the top of our lungs. It is not new for the Filipinos to experience slow and interrupted internet. I think I am experiencing it at least once or twice a week. There are hours that the internet is so slow and you just don't want to use your phone because you might throw it.
One of the things I hate in internet providers in the Philippines is they don't extend the cell towers and give us more satellite so that we can have strong and fast internet. But still it is business, business is business in here. We don't have a choice either. Recently, there are problems in the internet from Converge. We experienced one day without internet and that is very hassle. I need to load.
The problem in our area is the signal itself. Since we are near the sea, and the cell tower is far from our place. It means we can just get poor signal and when it rains, you expect your signal strength to be poor and you will receive one signal only. Then when you open your data, even if it's 4g, but the internet is so slow like a turtle. It keeps loading and loading until you loose your patience.
After Elon Musk confirmed that Philippines will be getting a spot for their satellites, it is a good news for us. The Starlink could give satellite-enabled internet services which is tremendously advantage for the Filipinos. I am just happy when the agreement was formed because I know how much it will satisfy the Filipino needs in terms of internet. Elon knew that Philippines is a good country for the investment.
Aside from Elon Musk, the Luxembourg-based company SES is eyeing for our country too. Their company launched 6 out of 11 satellites called O3b mPower. According to ses.com, "O3b mPOWER rewrites the rules of satellite technology with unprecedented performance, scale and flexibility. Designed to support the rocketing data needs of businesses and organizations, it unleashes connectivity to areas without terrestrial cover and provides failsafe backup for existing networks."
Based on Rob Marabut, the current SES director for business development network. He announced that they would offer the Phippines their internet by 2023. It means only few months left and this big tech giant would be entering the Philippines too. It is a good thing that many satellite-internet based companies are considering our country for investment. He said that their internet would support 4g and 5g mobile developments in remote areas with internet speed of 1 gigabyte per second anywhere in our country.
So right now, the most exciting part is when all these companies started to implement their services here. I think the leading internet providers in the Philippines will be shaken tremendously because of what the new comers will do. For the meantime, we should just wait for them patiently. I believe when all these companies compete, the competition will be so much better.
I am excited for the prices they will offer. We can expect low and cheaper offers, promos and subscriptions. Philippines internet connection will be studier, faster and stronger than ever. The favorite home we lived in
An amazing feeling is when you are tired from school or work and the only thing in your mind is your home. It's not the home exactly, but your own room. The soft, aromatic and unique smell of your bed. It feels good when you are down in your bed and the only thing you want to do is to sleep for hours. For some reason, I cannot forget the old house we used to live in.
How many times we moved in because we don't have our own land. When you are living near the sea, there is no such thing that you own this land. You own this part, and your part is there. You just need to build your house in that particular area and you can call it home later. It was actually funny to think that our previous house was wrecked by the thunderstorm. It was the time when Typhoon hits the Cavite so hard, and I don't remember what typhoon it was.
I was at our comfort room releasing my own thing when suddenly our roof went up and half of our house was destroyed. Most of my toys are not recovered because the sea waves reached our house too. The sand in seashore is not visible because the sea waves are too strong and it occupied the houses near it. Unfortunately, our house is one of it. I cried a lot when the typhoon destroyed our home together with the valuable things we own.
The happy memory I have in that house is awesome. Although it was small and made with light materials, but it was okay. The most important thing is we are happy, surviving and we are all together. Before the actual typhoon happened, I was doing my project for school. It was a project in our English subject that we have to draw our favorite hero and used clay to attach and serve as the color of the drawing. The project was cancelled because most of the kids cannot make it. Some students are staying in the evacuation area.
I am not a honor student, but when it comes to art projects, I am always all in. My heart for arts is wide and big. I love to draw anime characters like Ichigo, Doraemon, Son Goku, Vegeta, and Natsu Dragneel. I spent most of my time drawing after I go home instead of doing my home works. It was easy for me to draw than to write, sing, or dance. Maybe it is the gift I received from the Above.
That home is very special in my hearts because that is the very first home I lived in. The first is always memorable and the first is always unforgettable. I still remember some parts of our home, but I cannot remember the exact details anymore. I was just a little boy back then and my memories are bit dull. I want to go back in that house, but I cannot see it anymore.
Since our home was wrecked by the typhoon, and several houses too. The municipality decided to make a road in that area so that we can travel fast with motorcycle and delivery truck for fishes. I am just sad remembering all those happy memories and it is fine. I am happy for all the things happened because it was the one who made me now.
I feel bless whenever I see people who are working so hard to build their own house. When people are building their house near us, I always help them to whatever help I can offer. Sometimes I will assist them giving woods or tools they need while they are on top. After several weeks, I am happy to see a brand new house and soon to be called as home by the family who will live there.
So now, our current home is stable and much better than the previous one. It was bigger, the space is good, and the land outside is big enough to have four trees. I told you before that we have many doves too. We have our favorite home to live in and I know that home is beautiful and made with memories. It feels good with new environment we are currently residing. Living near the sea is an amazing experience and someday I will live in the city.

Why I respect my mother so much?
In this lifetime, our family is the greatest companion we will ever have. We cannot live without their support and care since we were young. They are the caretaker of our earthly body, the Lord is the caretaker of our soul and spirit. Families have different kinds and types, but whatever part you are the most important thing is you received total support, love, respect and generosity from them.
Nothing's good will happen if we are enemy to our family. I saw some families who are enemy to each other when it come to money, land ownership and legacy left by their parents. It was not common, but to experience the kind of thing like this is not good. What comes good if you hate your family? If you wish they don't exist or you don't born with that kind of family.
Some of us here are born poor, and it's okay. We are struggling everyday. We are keeping ourselves busy because we have to work and earn some income even if I am still a student too. I read some blogs here that they are student and using read cash for a very long time now. For sure, these students have earned big now. Who is the person you respect the most, and why?
The one I respect the most is the one who gave birth to me which is my mother. She went through many hardships carrying me because she was afraid of loosing her child in the second time. I mentioned before that our supposedly first born died and I became the first born in the family. She was paranoid and it was testified by my aunts and uncles.
That is the reason why I am respecting her with all my heart and life. She undergone extreme fear in her second pregnancy and they thought my mother cannot live before I was born because she was so scared. Thankfully, I was born safe and after my birth. She felt safe and recovered mentally. They know how exhausted my mother since her mind was full of thoughts.
Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help?
Of course, my parents when they are available. We have to assess whether our parents, friends, and relatives can help us in that particular problem. I think most of the time, I just asked my cousins to help me in doing my project and answering my modules. My parents cannot help me with that better than my cousins. They don't know how to design a portfolio.
But when it is a desperate problem like I have to asked money, guidance and protection. The number one on my head are my parents. I do not know if I can fully trust other when it comes to safety and money problems. We may be poor, but I know my parents would do something for it be solved.
If you died or went missing, who would miss you?
This is unexpected question and if I went missing. I would miss my family and my friends in my neighborhood because they are the people who have been with me since I was born. Why would I am missing? For sure no one will kidnap me because we cannot pay any ransom. They cannot get anything for us because the only possession we have is our boat, house and some basic tools and equipment at home.
If I died, then I miss my whole family. I do not know if I can still feel any emotion if I died. But if I do, I will miss hangout with my friends every afternoon in the boat and sail to some deep part of the sea. We will swim or catch fish if we are lucky to caught some.
Do you care what others think of you?
Yes, I am. I am very conscious of what others think of me because it is something I want to protect, my honor and dignity. If others think badly about me then it will be hard to communicate and interact with them. They will ignore and not talk to me. Caring for what other says is caring about your mental health too. It is very important that we are aware of what's happening around us.

It has been a good day when I wake up because it is still cold because of the hard rain last night. I think early this morning, the rain poured out again and sadly, most of the fishermen didn't go out to the sea because of bad weather. When there is a thunderstorm, hard rain, and strong winds, most of the fishermen stayed at home. The bad side of bad weather is they cannot feed their families.
My brother's doves are so many that sometimes I want to sell some of them. There are three mother doves who is laying their eggs in the nest today. I think the first one has 3 eggs and the two has one. What I love about doves, they are friendly and they are going home unlike other birds. If you are wondering how many doves we have, I can estimate it around 20-30 doves. It is not hard to feed them because they hunt themselves sometimes.
I was pecked twice when I tried to touch the dove while it was in the nest. I thought it will not move because it was in the left side, but it suddenly jumped and pecked my right hand. It's not hurtful, but you can still know that it is hard enough to feel some pain. The reason why it jumped and pecked my hand is not because I will touch it. It is because there is one egg hatched already. It just want to protect the chick in the predator coming including my hand.

We have this favorite book whether it was written locally or internationally. The book I reread the most is The Fault in our Stars. The first time I borrowed a book was when I was in 3rd year high school. I like this book because it is very inspirational. If you do not know, it is based on a true story of Esther Earl. She was battling a cancer and it was blogged by her husband online. You would love to read and watch the movie.
What is my favorite genre?
Although I like reading and watching action, thriller and adventure movies. But when it terms to reading book, I cannot imagine what the author is describing. It was very complex and my mind cannot visualize the descriptions. I think most of you can relate because it is really hard to imagine. There are words that we do not know, and you will skip that part.
Where do I buy books?
I don't buy books, but I download epub file online. It was suggested by my friend when I asked him the same question where he buy books. Epub file books are very friendly and easily to use because you can change the font size, font, grid lines and how you want to view it. I suggested if you want to read epub files, download the Lithium or Moon+Reader on Google Play Store.
When do you intend to read most?
The best time for me to read is when I am free of doing household chores because my mother will bother me any moment and my focus will not be in reading. I think if we want to read, adjust your time as much as possible and finish what should be finished so that there will be no distraction afterwards. It's hard to focus when your mind is flying away.
What sections of a bookstore do you browse?
When I visit to National Bookstore and Booksale, most of the time I go to young adult fiction shelf because of my interests are in there. There are many genres you can found but young adult is the best genre for me. I also visit the religious shelf, but frequently because I don't buy there. I read few chapters and left already. It's fun to read when you can understand what is saying and describing in the book.
I think if youths like me would read books, many will not be lack confidence in writing in English. I heard from my classmates before that they cannot write an essay in the exam because their English is limited. I don't like books too, but I was influenced my by few friends in high school.

We had rain ice and tornado in Cavite yesterday
Yesterday, we encountered a very rare phenomenon happened in our province of Cavite. We know it is impossible to have snow, hailstorm and winter feels like in a tropical country. But we were all surprised when it storms with ice. We were in Naic, Cavite because my friend is borrowing a polo from his brother who lived there. A casual and ordinary things happened, we expect it would rain because the cloud is very gloomy.
While we were having a snacks in the afternoon, it started to pour out the rain. We don't mind it because it is a normal rain as we expected. But suddenly we heard a scream from their neighbors, and we thought there was fight and that should be stopped. Someone knocked in the door and the kid was panting. He told us that it was pouring ice with the rain. Like we thought the kid was just joking around.
We went outside and checked if it's true, and there are really some rain ice, but only few. You cannot spot a bigger one, the small ones are easily melt so whenever we find one. It melts right away, but we cannot find a bigger ones to capture. And I saw some photos online from Naic group pages and they have some photos about yesterday's event.
Speaking of rain, I think the best time for us to day dream is when raining outside. We can feel the emotion, our body is cold, and we all want to feel the coldness of our environment by laying down in our bed. Most of the time, when it was raining my body's immediate response is to become lazy. Since we cannot go outside to make some fun or biking.
Day dream is almost a good dream because all you wanted is to create a perfect world where you are the main character and everyone is looking up to you. In day dream, you want to execute your dream so perfectly without mistake and you want all the things you want to achieve will com true. After that, you will enjoy the perks and advantages of being successful.
It was fun day dreaming when you have a big imagination and you are the very own creator of that world. The world all you want to happen is not make your life difficult. Several times when I day dream, I want to have a good life there. My own insecurities and jealousies will be removed because I have all of them in my day dream.
Aside from the day dream and rain ice, there is a very surprising event happened in General Trias yesterday. I was really surprised how big the tornado hits them and how it was formed in the clouds. There are several videos online about it and it was viral. Even some news broadcasting platform became this news as a headline. It was very scary when you look at those videos.
This is one of the photo uploaded from the GoCavite Facebook page and as you can see the tornado is not yet firm. It was still swirling and enhancing itself with winds. The sky is very gloomy and dark. Actually, in some areas yesterday it was so dark. I can see it because when I was riding home from Naic to Tanza, the whole view from neigboring is widely open.
I do not know if there are houses that got swayed or people hurts. It is very uncommon for a tornado to form in a city because General Trias is quite crowded. There are a lot of subdivision built, and malls. I am not happy that tornado is occur in our province because we don't know if it will happen again and again. This is one of the natural disaster that we cannot prevent.
It means we have two natural disasters happened in a day in Cavite, the rain ice and tornado. It was new to me to experience the rain ice and I am glad that I didn't encounter the tornado. So, please be safe everyone if ever you encounter any of natural disaster in your city or place.

How millennials are getting stolen photograph
In a wide, broad, free world of internet. It was easy for us to access countless sites because it was there. As if wide open-arms for all of us to get and use anytime we want. When I was still studying in school because we are now in vacation mode. I used to copy and get unlicensed photo online. Who will caught me for stealing some pictures that I need for my project? None, unless I intend to own the picture as mine.
Multiple times happen when we are doing project for a certain subject, we would always look around on the internet because that is the only way we can get photos fast and free without exerting too much efforts. Unlike, buying and finding pictures on magazine. Our teachers don't complain when we get unwanted pictures because they will not know whether we get it licensed or not.
Millennials nowadays could post a lot of photos online. The photos are uploaded in the social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. It is a way of letting people know about who we are and what is the current even of our life today. I think in some point, we have to be very careful of picking up the right photos to upload because it would backlash us.
We aren't sure if people would like it or not. As you notice in our social media accounts, there are people who have been cancelled and diluted by throwing toxic and harsh words. The efforts of one person to give his best to show who he is become a nightmare because of his own action. This is something went beyond and becoming normal in social media.
Why would people use stolen photograph? I think there are things why but the most common reason is because they need it for their projects, documentaries, sample photos for presentation and use as pattern for photography. We can steal photos anytime online, but I do not know if there is someone who caught using it? I there is no strict reinforcement of stealing photos in my country.
**Millennials used it for fake dummy accounts.** On Facebook, it was clear enough already that there are people using other's photos to chat and message people. There are reasons for it and one of them is to put stench on his name. Dummy accounts are growing and growing in rapid-paced. There are several groups on Facebook using artist's photo, common individual's photo, and famous person on Facebook. Why would they go that far to get a bad reputation?
**Millennials used it for copy-pasting method.** This is widely popular and practice by many. I can consider myself using this for a valid reason. As I said, I only get photos online for project, documentation and basically for school matters. I don't intent to own it and share to friends that I capture this or that. That is a very horrible thing to do online. If you are ever try to copy-paste the photos, make sure you will not use it for letting other's know that it was yours.
I am reading an article last night when I noticed that my article was boosted. It stated that my article was boosted, but I didn't boost it on my own because I never tried it yet. I try to click the boost button on other's article and I think that is the method other people use to boost mine. I am so happy that someone boosted my article. Is there a way to know who it is?

School rules I don't want to follow
Just yesterday we celebrate the Father's day and I read several articles related about it. I was surprised on how they celebrate it because in our family. It was just a normal day, but a little bit of extra. Usually, my father would go to his friends because they will drink and get drunk until late night. But, this time he stayed at home with us and that surprised us.
Since I mentioned several times that my family is living near the sea, we have abundance of sea foods to eat. My father go to the port to buy some crabs and shrimps. Our boat that day came but only fishes and some squids are what they caught. My father cooked Ginataang Alimasag and Hipon. He mixed the two and that became our viand for the lunch until night.
He bought one bottle of gin and he drunk himself. He told us that he don't want to drink with his friends that day because he feels ill and he will spend more money. Our budget is very tight as of the moment because our boat only caught enough fishes to sell and that is what we called "sambot puhunan." Most of the fishermen knew this thing.
When the face to face is still happening, I know how much pain in the our heads the school rules are. These are one of the things I hate the most learning because there are so much do's and don'ts inside or outside the school ground. I cannot do anything since I am just a student, enrolled and trying to be smart as much as I can. Wishing my time in the school would come sooner without being expelled or anything wrong.
***The first in my list is haircut***. For boys who wants to have a good and long hair, this is their nightmare. In my previous school, every boys are mandated to trim their hair for every first Monday of the month. If your teacher saw your hair was still long. They would give you two warnings, and after those warnings. You will expect that they will cut your hair in an extreme way.
The haircut you don't choose and the haircut that doesn't suit in your face. There is a haircut rules too that it should be 3 by four inches. I know it is absurd, but it really happened in our school. I think some schools are very strict in their school rules and regulations. I once experienced to be warned and that very same day after class, I went to barbershop to trim my hair. I think it is still existing in my previous school.
***The second in my list is black shoes only.*** I get it that the school wants student to have a decent appearance, but sometimes getting and buying a new black shoes are hard for some. I had a classmate who didn't have a good black shoes. His black shoes are very old and there are some openings in front and side. The rugby cannot supported it anymore because he already put some before.
We all felt pity and sad for me that's why we contribute P2 each per day for the whole week so that we could buy him a new one. The day we surprised him was the day he actually wanted to quit school because he was so shy and unhappy of his appearance. We are very thankful that we bought him a new one and that boosted his confidence. Even I would be shy and loose confidence if my black shoes are full of openings. I hope wearing black shoes are not mandatory, instead allowed students to use rubber shoes too.
***The third in my list is attending in the flag ceremony***. I am not a huge fan of flag ceremony because I am so shy dancing and exercising from the whole crowd. If you are an introvert person, you know how hard it is to keep up your confidence dancing with a lot of people watching your back and two sides. Whenever we have a flag ceremony, I make sure I am late because I really hate it.
So these are the three school rules and regulations I don't want to be mandatory because they just don't give enough credit to boost student's academic performance. How a hair would help attending school beside giving us a new look of appearance? Face shape is not the same, and some haircut is the same benefit for one's student. Sometimes your haircut is good and cool for you, but when your haircut was imitated by others, they don't look the same. And only boys know this struggle inside the school.

Movie character I wish were actually real
I was surprised this morning when my old classmate visited me. He was here awhile ago because he and his brothers are going to buy fish and squids for their party later. He thought of visiting me here in our house since we are near in the port. I welcomed him and his brothers warmly. The time is perfect because my father was here too. We tagged along with them so that they could have a little bit of discount.
Luckily, there are squids left in the port and they got P80 discount from it. They bought 2 kilos of squids and I know Adobong Pusit is the best for this. It is fresh, good quality and an average size. We talked about how's our school life and our plans for the incoming grade 11 admission. As plan, he would go to Manila with his dad. Their parents separated four years ago.
After several minutes, they bid their goodbyes and go home. I went back to our home alone because my father is still having conversation with his friends. I know he is just talking there and waiting for other fishermen to come from the sea. There is a culture here that they would give at least two to three fishes to some people or others would favor to them to give them some. Then, on the other day, others would give back as well when they caught fish.
There is a little kid crying in the tree and that was our neighbor's son. His mother is scolding him because he don't want to eat his breakfast meal. This little kid told me that he was full because he ate DingDong and Clover Bits from their sari-sari store. His mother don't know this and he told me not to tell his mother. I said he should go home and eat some rice even just couple of scoops.
I would answer some questions from the internet. These questions were actually random questions about heroes and movie characters. Since I was young, I love watching anime and hero movies in Marvel, DC Comics, and Disney. There are a lot of kids tv show available on TV5 back then. But, somehow they are not focusing to them now.
Who is your biggest hero? Why?
I watched several movies and anime focusing of different heroes. But there is one thing that stands out the rest in my eyes and that is Hal Jordan also known as Green Lantern. This is the biggest and my top favorite hero of all time. I do not know exactly why I am so relatable to his character. Green Lantern was released on 2011 and it received good feedbacks from the critics and audience.
Green Lantern powers are based on his alien ring that gives him the power to materialize what he thought. I think that is an awesome power because anything I can think of would be manifest and turn real. However, there are disadvantages of having this power because lack of imagination is the main problem. Imagination is related to focus as well.
Would rather have an innate power or skills?
Innate powers are for the movies and skills are for the anime. This is very interesting question and I know my preference is a skill rather than an innate power. A skill can be hone and sharpen through practice. If you don't know a skill may have skill tree which opens or unlocks when a certain condition is met. I am too much thinking about it. It's not realistic at all.
What movie, television and anime character(s) you wish were actually real?
I am an avid fan of Ben10, and I wish Ben10 was real. I would like to see in person his own omnitrix and the aliens that was there. His alien transformations are so good and there a lot of them. I wish I could see his aliens so that alien conspiracy will be ended. Humungousaur, Whampire, XLR8, and Upgrade. The XLR8 is one of his fastest alien and I think that's best when running from your mother. Just kidding!
As you can see in the photo, these are all his aliens residing in his matrix. There are so much aliens in the universe and some are really overpowered. Looking back when I was young, I would stop doing anything I was currently doing just to watch Ben10. It was an awesome show and I know some kids and young adult loved this show as well.

I am grateful for these 3 things
The time I entered this magnificent platform because a week ago before I register was our class ended. I don't see myself writing because it is not my hobby or interest. I am afraid of people reading my essay at the time of our examination because of my poor English grammar. My mind is thinking what if people here would not appreciate and troll me instead.
In spite of that, my cousin who you knew @DennMarc said that people in this platform are very welcoming and generous. They will never leave any bad comment or will talk behind your back. And he was right. The first article I made was bombarded by support and welcoming greetings. I wish I listened to my kuya who always insisting me to register here.
Writing and reading articles became a habit of mine today. I wake up around 6 in the morning, open my tablet and my read cash account. While I was eating, I was reading too. But before I immerse myself in the platform for so long, I would do some household chores like feeding our doves, dogs and sweeping the dry leaves in front of house because we have many mango trees.

Is society today better off than it was 100 years ago?
Last night, I dreamed about me living in 1900s. It was weird in a sense that why of all times, my dream transported me to late 1900s? Is there a connection of myself in the old ones? I do not remember much about this dream, but I like how the dream ended because in there I saw many prominent people and interacted with them. Although the the life is poor, but you can see the real happiness of the people.
Philippines is a blessed country with so many islands, agricultural lands, and it was surrounded by the seas and oceans left and right. You can literally live near the shore if you want since the population before is not crowded at all. The houses are big in the city, while the houses in the countryside can be transported to one place and another.
In my dream, I feel like living in the Rizal's era. I know Rizal died in 1896, only 4 years he will stepped on the 1900s. Poor soul for our national heroes. If others do not know, Jose Rizal is our national heroes because of his love for the country and his sacrifices to free us from the hands of Spaniards colonialism back then. A little bit of history, eh? What I am going to write is the difference between the current life and the old life a century ago.
What is their daily life?
Usually, their clothes are long and heavy as what you can see in the photo. It was handcraft and the machine is not yet popular back then. Is the weaving machine already invented in 1900s? The Filipino family love an extended family living in one house. It means the grandparents, your parents, aunts, uncles, and your cousins are all living together. Their clothes are all European inspired like skirts, slacks, shirts, and dresses.
However, what makes it unique is the textile used to weave their clothes because it can only be found in countryside. I think most of the women knew how to weave because that is a part of women's work and job at home. The life in 1900s is somehow similar in the current times because there are still extended family. But this time, only grandparents stay at homes. Right now, we can just buy clothes in the market, mall, and online shop.
Arts and their religious beliefs
It is widely popular that early Filipinos loved carving so much. Most of their carvings are religious-based like Anitos. Anitos are depending on what god it symbolizes and usually they used woods for making it. There are so many rituals done and performed by different tribes according to their beliefs. But I know it is way different right now.
Our modern arts are wide, strong, and developed unlike before. It was easy to paint because the tools and materials can be bought easily, while in 1900s, you have to make your own. Although you can buy some materials, but it is pricey. Only the rich people can afford it. But looking back, how I wish the Philippines Peso has much value than right now. Poor us!
What houses they have before?
As you all know, the cement houses are not yet popular back then especially the tiles. Only the rich families can afford to build mansion made with cement and rocks. On the other hand, the ordinary and poor families can just afford to build a lightwood made houses commonly known as bahay-kubo. Bahay kubo is a popular house date back in 1900s and I believe there are still people using it in the countryside especially the tribes.
Compare today, we have various modern and architectural houses. There are even smart houses that can be controlled by the remote and voice activation. How powerful it is, right? What I loved houses in 1900s is the comfortability and it is refreshing even though there is no electricity. People are happy. People can stay in their humble abode and invite friends to come by. Apocalypse I prefer to happen
In our world today, we have plenty of current events especially the start of the year 2022. There are several issues that needs to be addressed, but only few are finally subsiding. Pandemic, natural disasters and man-made war are three examples of the current issues I am talking about. Finally, the restless and unwanted war between Ukraine and Russia is laying low.
Yesterday, while I was reading several articles, I found ate @Usagi article titled How Prepared are you? . It was a blog about her preferences about apocalypse and feels like an end of the world scene. I like apocalypse movies and series because this is what the usual my father and cousins are playing every weekend. Apocalypse is an event happen when there is a war between the forces of good and evil. Most of the time this is a genre from books, series and movies. Thus, will not happen in our world, but everything is possible right? So, apocalypse might happen when there is a cosmic creatures visit our world and wage war. That is insane, bro! Can we win?

The most scariest one is the alien invasion and I prefer this one. Why? I never seen an alien in my life, and their species are totally unknown. I do not know if the photos online are real because they can photoshop it as they want. Alien invasion would definitely be like a catastrophe and the whole world will be shaking in its root. I guess that the beliefs, ethnicity, and other imaginary border in this world will be broken.
What is the first thing you would do if an apocalypse happen?
The question on my mind is am I safe anywhere? I cannot hide for sure because if I do, they will caught me eventually. I guess, better be equipped and trained my body while not caught yet. I know giant and powerful people would negotiate for their safety while the poor will be burn on fire. That is expected, isn't it?
If I am going to die, then better be with someone I like the most. Like, the girl I want to be with for a lifetime because the lifetime I am seeking right now may crumble in any moment. Try to to kiss her, hug her, watch movies together, cook and exercise, a and all the stuff a boyfriend and girlfriend does.
If there were to be an actual apocalypse, how prepared are you?
I think being prepared is not an issue here because it is a surprise alien invasion. The question for me is how long it takes for me to be prepared when the time I know an alien is already invaded some parts of the world. That would be really catastrophic! Preparation would be meaningless if you have no resources at all. What is there to prepare and equip?
How would the apocalypse which is alien invasion start?
This is interesting because I can think of how the apocalypse would start because that is a total advantage for me. I think alien invasion would start as showing in the sky with their big spaceship. They will not come down yet, but will announce the time they will come down to talk with one person only. This talk would determine whether we could be their allies or not.
When the talk was finished, and it was successful. The humankind will betray them because they will plan to invade our world sooner after we became an ally with them. Meaning, we strike first before they do. When they are caught off-guard, the first thing we would do is to hijack their spaceship so that we can learn from it. Their technology, language, span of universe, and their very species at space. Wonderful, right?

What does it mean to be a family?
This is the last update I will make about my grandfather because yesterday we finally let him go and he is now on the ground with our ancestors. We all cried about it. The cry I didn't know will flow in my eyes like endlessly. It didn't stop until I saw people are all left. I just want to have a final moment with him. It is so painful in my heart. A pain that strikes me back and forth.
Losing someone we dearly love and adore is such an unfortunate situation. We barely have the confidence and strength to fight it. The body just want to sit down in a side corner of the room with cloudy thoughts. It is not always easy to protect, care and fight for your love ones. All you need to do is embrace and accept what happened because it will set your mind free from worries.
I prepared set of questions to answer for today. I cannot get over with my grief yesterday. I feel drained and need to be recharged because I want to live a happy life again. These past 8 eight days were so tiring and sleepless night. I want to write about optimistic questions and answer it honestly. I got these questions online and collected them as one piece.
What is the greatest responsibility your parents have given you?
I am not the firstborn child in the family, but I am currently the eldest because our firstborn died because of health issues. It was difficult for them because you know my parents lose their first child. Whatever they do, he died without experiencing what it feel like to live. To live happily with us, to live playing basketball, and to live studying in school.
My parents are not a type of parent who will give responsibility you cannot take care of. I think the greatest responsibility they ever given to me was to wake up at 4am to take care the fishermen who used our boat. Like, rental or something. I will list how many kilos of fishes, crabs, and squids they caught. Then I will cut it down from the total expenses they got from us. The rest of remaining balance will be cut into two, one for us and one for them.
Would you ever considering getting a tattoo?
In my inner thoughts and desire, yes. But if I ever got a tattoo, then I will be scolded by my grandmother for real. I might be slapped by my mother and punch by my father. From our family, no one has ever got a tattoo because they don't really like it. The culture in the family is solid and sacred. Follow and you live, don't follow then get out. Live your life like a madman.
If you are thinking my family is strict, no. We just have these set of do not's in our family that keeping us a good and presentable person. The 6pm curfew in our family is still alive and if you don't follow it. Expect you will be closed off the door. You cannot enter unless you have a valid reason. I experienced it once and my grandmother let me in around 2am already. I will never do it again, I swore to her that day.
What does it mean to be a family?
I watched several family movies and in a basic definition, family is your blood-related and produced you in a same branch of genes. That is a usual definition of a family. Yet, a family to me is someone who can accompany me through ups and downs. From my greatest and lowest of my life. A burden and abundance. That is why a friend can be your family. Your classmate can be a family.
No matter what our definition of family, the most important one is you care for your family. It may be blood-related or not. They are the people who will be with you until you breath your last. The more family we have, the more we can enjoy the life because it will not be boring at all.

Do you act differently online than in real life?
We have been exposed to social media platforms for decades now. The emergence of internet became a natural respond today and I think for everyone who is reading this right now. Phone became part of our daily lifestyle. We felt like we cannot live without our smartphones because it is what keeps us occupied, updated, and connected to other people.
In some situation, we are acting differently online than in real life? Why? I have seen few of my friends, especially girls who changed their personality when they are posting and uploading photos. Like, you wouldn't thought that this person is your classmate who is shy, introvert and don't participate in class. Yet, online she was exposing her body too much, she used makeups and even her words to describe herself is different.
I do not get it why they have to change themselves online. Is it beneficial for them when they do it? Then, one time when I had a chance to talk with her in the classroom because we are the cleaners. I asked her why she was posting almost exposing her legs and boobs. I was surprised to her answer. She told me that posting photos like that gave her confident and reactions she wanted that cannot give by her friends and family.
It means she has no space at home to express herself. So her only choice to express what she wants is online platforms. She gained attention and reactions from others. When I say others, it is people she doesn't know. She barely know people who is commenting and messaging her. Since she cannot avoid then, she has to reply so that they would not think she is a snob.
For a long time, she kept doing that and exhausted herself. She lived her fake life online. Wait? Can we call it fake life when she is just expressing her real self online than in reality? In her reality, her life was just a fantasy. A world full of restrictions, rules and obedience without allowing a space for her freedom.
Why we act differently online than in real life?
From my classmate's experience, she has a valid reason why she did it because her freedom was restricted and cannot be expressed. I am just sad for her because the family she was born with is like that. A family that restricted children's happiness and realness.
***Because we want to express ourselves.*** I admit that expressing online is way easier than real life. You just have to go to you feed, type and click post. Bingo! You expressed yourself now. But in some unfortunate event, others received a total different views online that leads to cyber bullying and harsh words. That hurts!
***Because want to be satisfied.*** The reasons why we are feeling null and void in real life is we aren't satisfied. The satisfaction we want to have and felt is not happening. The only choice is to register, sign up and interact online. This is a very common situation.
***Because we want to get people's attention.*** I observed that people who are trending online are people who wants attention. If they want attention, then they would create issue. Bingo! Their names will be mentioned and spread faster which is their goal in the very beginning. Vloggers did this all the time.
Let us just be real with ourselves whether online or real life. There is nothing to hide. You will be accepted as you are. If you continue chasing your fake self, instead of shaping your real self. Then, I am sure others will not see beauty and genuine from you.

Which is better: truth or beauty?
A little update from my grandpa's burial. This is the last night that we can see him personally because he would be carrying off to our house tomorrow for burial ceremony and all. I am sad. I am always sad since my grandpa died. I just didn't expect that it would be this soon. I cannot handle it at first, but I gradually accepted it with all my heart.
The hardest part is that you are not there when he was struggling and cannot breathe fine. I wasn't there when he wants to talk with me.. I wasn't there when he breathed his last. It is really sad in my part because I wanted to be there at least. Although my presence will not do anything in his condition, yet I want to see him. I think that is my regret right now.
I am struggling to share my life as of the moment and I cannot think so right. I just wanna have peace and push myself in writing so that it would be eased. I saw this questions online and I didn't remember where. I just downloaded it right away, forgot to save the link. These are hard questions, but let us see my answers to those questions.
What is the meaning of life?
I haven't lived long enough to tell and describe the whole picture of life. Despite of that, I am sure that life is a gift from us which should be use according to his will and with our freedom too. I believe that this life is not eternal, there is another life after death. This means there is a cycle of life, death and life over and over again. We cannot see the beauty of life when we are too much focus on hating ourselves because of what we lack or what we don't have.
Which is better: too much of something or too little of something?
Can we just agree in the middle? Neither too much nor too little, just enough and sufficient. They say when we have too much, it is bad and when we have too little, it is bad too. So if we stay in the middle, are we not bad now? No, it is just like choosing warm or cold. If you choose cold nor warm, it's lukewarm. And lukewarm is not good at all.
I think I would prefer too much of something because it means I am abundant. When we are abundant, we can give more to others not just for ourselves. The blessing will continue to flow and whoever the flow touches will be blessed the way you are. I think it is better to give than to receive. The satisfaction of giving is unexplainable in our hearts.
Which is better: truth or beauty?
The truth of beauty or the beauty of truth? Did I just confuse you? I hope not. The beauty is something that was given and natural. It means we are born natural beauty inside out. We know how important it is to become beautiful because if you are ugly, then people will judge you accordingly. However, to become beautiful inside is something that is far greater than the outside beauty.
What would I do to a beautiful woman but full of lies? In this matter, I would prefer truth because truth will free us all. I mean truth holds power, integrity and dignity. If you are full of lies and deceit, then people will not trust you again. The broken trust isn't easy to be fixed. It takes a very long time, so be honest and truthful.
Is social media a blessing or a curse?
The discovery of social media is to be connected to others around the world. We can easily connect to our loved ones in other country, we can see our friends afar via video call and we are updated what's happening in the current events. There are so many blessings social media has offered us , but we are tainting it with toxicity and hate.
We know how much wide and broad the bashing online. The hate comments and bad mouthing to other public figures. I don't get it why others wanted to bash people so badly. They don't benefit from doing that. They don't earned recognition for hating someone and leaving harsh words. Sometimes, we are going far and that very person decided to end his life. There are multiple cases of live suicide on social media.
Define Intelligence
In my own vocabulary, intelligence is an individual's natural wit without the help of supplementary knowledge or wisdom. I mean, it is natural, gifted and inborn. It was already planted to that person when he was born. And I think we are all have intelligence in our own way. Just discover your intelligence if you do not know it yet.

I know too much then, should I be silent?
I wake up with a sense of purpose today. My body is telling me to get more sleep because I have sleepless nights because of my grandpa's burial. I am just happy that I am able to serve my grandpa until the end. My mindset is, this is the only time that I can serve my grandpa because after this week. I, we will no longer see him here. Then, as much as possible I would like to exert effort for him.
There are two days remaining and we will deliver his body on the ground for good. I do not know what to feel toward this because I haven't had a chance to send someone on the ground which is our family. I think experience twice, but they are just relatives. Not, a first degree family. I will not overthinking about it, but I cannot help myself. I am looking forward for it to be successful.

From your childhood, are there experiences that stand out?
When I was a young boy, I had so many fun and happy experiences because we already live near the sea. I am so happy waking up in the morning and pick up many crabs in the sand. I do wanted to see fishermen coming in with their full of loads of sea foods like fishes, squids, crab and shrimps. I always insisting to help because that is the only thing I know.
My father would always nagged at me when I was bitten or clipped by crab in my hands. At a young age, I am fond of holding crabs even if I always got hurt. Then, my father will remove the part of where it clip me so it would not hurt me anymore. Living near at the sea is so fun and I do not think of exchanging it for something else.
Do you have a favorite holiday and why?
As a kid back then and as a teen right now, my favorite holiday is still the same and it is the Christmas holiday. Who wouldn't wanted and refused the amazing Christmas holiday. I admit that I like receiving gifts and some money. But beyond that is my reason why I like it. Some of my family lived far from our city so we rarely see each other, but when it is Christmas season. We can see each other much often and they can stay at home with us.
During holiday season, it was a mini reunion for our family and I know it is the same for other Filipino families too. We went and visited some of our relatives like our aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousin's houses and chill. It is also a season of abundancy because we have so many money to spend for ourselves and for others. I am so in love with that.
Have you ever encountered food that was hard to swallow but you didn't want to offend someone?
It happened when we visited to my friend's house because of making project. His mother cooked us adobo for lunch and we are grateful. But, when we taste the chicken adobo, it tasted so bitter that I wanted to puke. There is too much soy sauce on it and that makes it better. We are just staring each other because we know how bad the food is. Then I think his mother noticed that we barely eat and she tasted it herself. When she found out that it was so salty and bitter, she immediately get it from the table and when we eat it again. The food became better and we almost eat it all.
How does "knowing too much" benefit or harm you?
I always reminded myself that knowing too much would bring harm to me. But, it is still depend in the situation because when you are too much knowledgeable, is it bad? I do think that to gain access to different field is always beneficial for me. Whenever people ask me questions, then if I know I can answer it. On the other hand, when we are too much knowledgeable about secrets it doesn't benefit us at all. Too much secrets to know, too much risk it holds.
There are two questions left to answer, but I would stop here because I already reached 4 minutes reading time. I had fun answering it especially the first question because it was a throwback memory for me. I still going out to get some crabs, but it happens when I am not busy from school. I have early online classes and module to answer. Since, we have no classes now, I am so free to do it again.

We are the product of our environment
Growing up near the sea made me who I am right now. When I was young, my father used to teach me how to swim properly and what should be done in the sea. Some says, we are the product of our environment which means the inner and outer form of our body was shaped and molded from it. The environment has a huge factor why and what we are now today.
Do you still remember those days when you have nothing to do but to say yes and nod to your elders and playmates. We do not want to be left alone so we have to play along with them and because of that it moves our spirit to its very core. I mean is there is a reshaping process happening within us and the concept of things are changing as well. We cannot avoid the part where we act and speak even though it was not okay with us.
When we say we are the product of our environment, it means the beliefs, cultures, lifestyles and religious teachings were passed and influenced us. That is the very beginning of the the progress and imitation of our very own environment. As if we are collecting every pieces to make who we are in the moment. It is not hard to learn from them because they are guiding and helping us in the process.
Sometimes, we feel not belong in the community because they are persecuting and not helping us in our growth. Lately, I realized that whatever invalidity we feel and think from our community, it will not change the fact that we are still belong there. They are the heart of the very community we emerged. We birthed, raised and grew up there so nothing in particular is the presence of invalidity anymore.
Effects of our environment
**It builds our personality.** If you don't know, our personality is being shape in the through the community we are in. Whatever personality they have, there is a high possibility that we can get at least 2-3 personality from them and that is okay. Personality is on how we think, how we feel and how we behave.
**Understand the interest.** This means that whatever the interest in the community, you will get it too. For example, the community you are in has a great interest in fishing, then as young boy, you will find fishing interested because your whole community is doing it. There is nothing wrong with it. It may changed later on.
**Building the character.** In our growth, character of one's individual is really important. Character reflects and what other see from you. They say when the child has bad character i.e bad mouthing. They will immediately think that the child's parents are doing the same thing. We know how much a child is great in imitation. What they saw is what they act, speak and think.
Then now, I realized while writing this blog is that I am totally integrated to my community. I got the interest of fishing and making dishes from the seafood because that is what they do for a living. It is hard to catch fish in the sea because you are sleepy too. Fishermen are going to the sea at night and will comeback before the sunrise. Can you imagine how dangerous and hard it is?
They don't have big lights to see what is in the sea. The only lights they have is the lamp gas which lights are expand few meters away. Waves are making the boat swinging back and forth. Just a misstep and unbalance in the boat, they will shrink from it. I am so proud of my community even though they are not earning big, just barely enough to feed the family and pay some bills.
I hope when you see seafoods, be thankful to those fishermen who risked their lives to get it and deliver to the market. Don't complain the prices of it because we know how few the fishes now in the sea. Can you imagine getting fishes everyday and fishes are not a one day then they will grow fast. It takes time to grow and be ready to eat.
