I am not going to do that but to clear some things for us to understand. I was inspired to write something like this after approaching @Jane's article (how do I keep my consistency?) and most of what she said, I have been through. Who doesn't? We all do because to say the truth of the matter, it is difficult to be consistent especially when the results aren't coming in. https://read.cash/@Jane/how-do-i-keep-my-consistency-5ff2f4b3 I know that it is hard for many of us who are struggling hard to make ends meet and there is no reward to motivate us to keep going. It takes a brave heart with consistency to keep going. We all want rewards especially the immediate gratification and we lose focus on the struggles attached to what we are doing and it seems being consistent is tough. I know she might get to read this later and would smile but in the end, I want you to read to digest and let it motivate you because you told me **"CONSISTENCY IS THE PROBLEM FOR YOU.** I am talking about @Midelight Hahahaha, I understand you so well and it is not easy for someone who is just starting to keep it going even after trying but nothing is coming. ***Let me ask a question;*** "Are you willing to give it all in considering and having the belief that someday, you will get rewarded?" Unless you aren't doing it the right way, would you feel like your efforts are just fruitless, but when you are sure of yourself of not violating any rules wherever you may be, because it is only when you do not understand something that you will keep going rounds and rounds on a spot. Until you get the logic and working it fine, even if it looks as if it is going too far or becoming too long, surely your efforts would be appreciated. One thing that makes you think consistency is not your thing or too hard is because you tend to focus on the outcome more than the process. We all want good things but do you think being lazy and not doing anything can bring such good for you? It's impossible and I am saying it to you now. You cannot eat where you haven't worked for. Even if you reap where you haven't sown, you are a **big thief** who only want it quick quick and it doesn't last because you will be exposed. Procrastination can also make it look as if being consistent is difficult. Many times, we tend not to make plans or set goals for ourselves. We keep procrastinating even when we have our spare time, you still won't do anything. There are times I have procrastinated and would while away time even when I ought to do something, but I just find myself relaxing, sleeping all day without doing anything. Suddenly, I will just remind myself of my goals and for me to achieve them, I must act fast and not keep sitting down with nothing to do. Yes, I have complained of this consistency before but I love how Jane gave the reply to a user who asked how to maintain consistency?. It is definitely passion and determination. Let me tell you something Where passion and determination are, nothing, I mean nothing can stop you from taking that big step. The power attached to passion and determination cannot be quantified because both are what sprout out the activeness in you to do something no matter what it takes. The likes of Jane, Bmjc98, Olasquare, Fexonice, George Dee, Pantera etc. I can say these people have determined right from the beginning and what they are doing till now is because of the passion attached to it. You cannot complain of inconsistency and lack of passion in the presence of Ola and he wouldn't tell you passion and determination are what has helped him so far here. Infact, both has been a fuel to his pen and hands working on different platforms. You should learn from @Olasquare It is what you don't put interest to, that would make you think consistency is difficult to stand on. When you are determined and passionate, Just believe me when I tell you being consistent isn't hard as we think. Take your focus away from the outcome for now especially when you are just starting but put your gaze on the process. There is no story without a storey `(even if there is no word like that, just understand from your own view 😂)` in front of you. When you are able to climb the storey with so much pain, definitely there is a beautiful story awaiting you on the other side. Consistency is key in all we do. Even though it's hard, but we keep on moving. There are times one will feel discouraged, but that drive will surely keep one

Consistency is difficult to achieve. It takes a lot of effort and discipline to be able to master it. You need to build a routine and establish a habit and it takes time. Little by little, you will only notice your progress if you continue to strive hard and work on consistency as your goal.

Whenever people want to learn something new or start a good habit, starting isn't the problem, but consistency. It is easy to start but it is difficult to continue especially when difficulty arises that why consistency matters.

To be consistent, we have to have self-discipline too. I, myself am still having this hard time keeping up but I also remind myself like what you also do.

Ahaan consistency is the key to success but being consistent without being rewarded or appreciated is really difficult. I have experienced this as newbie on this platform but didn't lose hope

Consistency is key in all aspect of life. That's why i'm always in awe of you- it isn't easy being a student and maintaining an "article a day" routine. Not easy at all.

That's the problem with alot of young people today. It's only few people that could become dedicated to a particular purpose for a longtime without giving up when the results are not coming soon as earlier as expected.
The young of nowadays want quick things without realizing that they need to work hard continuously.
Very well said, my dear. We need to add consistency to our passion. To stay consistent, we have to be passionate and when we are passionate, we should strive to be consistent with it because it's easier to get discouraged.

Letme give this typicslt example: Paying tithe Regularly and it's as if God is not receiving to give you the "supposed" return, it only take the grace of God to continue. That's consistency

Yes consistency is the key to unlocked success, I should say that consistency give birth to success. Nothing just happen people work it out with courage and determination it's not easy to become the boss without serving, even the last thing like stealing needs alot of work in side.

This is true. For me, procrastination is sometimes the reason I may not be consistent with something. I'll just keep putting it off and eventually end up not doing it
