The Joy of being a Mother
**Motherhood** is a lifetime of ditching our prior ideals and visions (from before we had kids) for the practical applications in order to keep the kids alive when things are hard, change plans because someone’s always messing up the original plan, trying to get everyone to sleep (so that you can get enough) and, in general, learning how to survive the next 18 or so years.
**But yes, motherhood also means raising**
Seriously, has anyone experienced motherhood?
You didn’t capture the emotions after clawing your way out of desperation when your baby won’t sleep! But of course you wouldn’t … I guess you don’t need sleep. **But I sure did!**, yes, i did. And I’ll tell you that some of the darkest times in motherhood are those when you aren’t getting enough sleep.
But then there’s the **sheer joy** and **achievement** when you figure out not only how to get that baby to sleep, but help him or her sleep 12 hours a night.
That’s true of motherhood in general. Experiencing the trials and tribulations, figuring out what works for you and your family and achieving the seemingly impossible. These things include:
sleep
feeding issues
Clothing
Health
Whatever it is moms struggle with and overcome (and there’s a lot of things as the years add up) bring us joy in motherhood.
Of course, you’re not wrong about the normal stuff like the bond, giving and receiving love, and building all those great memories (in between all the shitty ones we can’t wait to forget).
***But in all, I'm glad to be a mom, loving the process. And most especially my baby's laugh lightens up my mood daily.***

Honest Rebuke
**June 11th, 2022.**
Any time we correct we should do it the right way. When you are the one with the most experienced in the world at something, let's not miss-guide people by being biased.
It is best to just call things as you see them and be honest about your thoughts. Let's correct any errors as soon as possible and move on from there.
In many ways, this statement is a reflection of our current culture as a whole. The idea of calling something as you see it doesn't really hold water anymore. At one time, I would have agreed with this statement but in light of recent events/news in regards to bias/racism/sexism/etc., there needs to be a certain level of tactfulness when addressing problems of crime or wrongdoing, that are not already a matter of common knowledge. Not saying you shouldn't call things as you see them, but just make sure you are being truthful and fair, otherwise, your statement will fall on deaf ears and may even result in outrage.
I have a problem with people correcting others. You see it all over the world on every level, people correcting others. I am not against correction when needed, but I am against being mean while correcting. I know that some people think that they have to be mean to make a point, but they are wrong, they are hurting themselves more than they are helping.
When you correct someone tries to make it like a positive thing and make them feel good. Nicely correcting them is twice as good as correcting them in a mean way. When you make them feel good they will remember your correction for a long time and you will also get more respect from them.
When we are making corrections, let's do it honestly. Rebuke people the right way, don't be biased in your judgement. Stop the hate. Stop making people look bad before others. Stop the bashing.
Debate on issues, sure!
Rude and wrongful comments and actions, No!
You need to learn how to be right without having to win every time and also to voice your opinion without being mean or evil about it.
The thing is we all need change and not everyone has the same mentality, point of view or opinion, so when you are correcting one of us it will not come out as a positive thing if you let the hate flow through your body.
We often have a hard time giving honest critiques to our friends or families when they need advice. It's uncomfortable, to be frank with the people we love and care about.
When someone asks me, "Hey can you take a look at this business plan and tell me what you think?" I'll say, "Yeah sure!"
I'll spend time reading through it and get a really good feel for what the person is trying to achieve and I'm bursting with advice and suggestions on how they can improve it. But I'll always hold my tongue because I'm afraid to hurt their feelings.
Until recently, after watching a few too many episodes of the greatest show of all time and reading business books, I decided it was time to stop being so cowardly.
If you find yourself needing to share a correction on others' work, make sure to do it honestly.
I hate seeing people being biased in the way they speak negatively or positively. We can do better, we can be better than that. Rebuke people the right way, don't be biased in your judgement of what is right and wrong.
I can't tell you how many times I've seen someone say something with a totally different tone/attitude if it's about one race vs another. Just because you feel like someone is wrong in making a decision doesn't mean you can't do it.
Delay is not Denial
**June 8th, 2022**.
In our society today, it's a common thing for us to say "Delay is not denial though in legal world there's a legal maxim which says: "Justice delayed is justice denied"
Saying "justice delayed is justice denied means that if legal redress to an injured party is available, but is not coming forth in a timely or urgent fashion, it is basically the same as it not having any remedy at all.
**Has God given you any promise of a bright future or hope which is yet to be fulfilled or accomplished?**
Or maybe you have received a specific answers to a request while you were praying.
**Even at that nothing happened. In fact, instead of seeing turn around, the circumstances turned out for the worse.**
Did you misinterpret God’s agenda for you life?Have you accumulated them all in your head? Where are all the promised blessings of God for your life?
Remember that God gave Joseph, the son of Jacob in the Bible, a promise that one day he would reign.
But then, everything went the other way for him many years after the promise. His brothers, sold him to the Egyptians because they hated him.
He served as a slave in Potiphar’s house, and was wrongly accused of going in with his master’s wife, which made them throw him into the prison where he was forgotten.
Instead of using the delayed promise as an excuse to murmur against God, Joseph decided to keep himself for the journey ahead asking God to give him courage and strength.
He dropped all expectations of how and when God would fulfill his promise.
**Trust God even when life doesn’t seem as if it makes any sense.**
There has to be a purpose for whatever it is you are going through. God is probably trying to correct the journey of your life.
It could be that he is using these things you are going through to teach you to lean more on him, to trust his timing, and to strengthen your faith in Him.
It is possible that you are going through all of this mess in your life because going through it will help you lead someone else through a similar circumstance later on.
Just like Joseph, we also may not see the purpose or reason why we are struggling until much later. But also like him, we should remain faithful, stand steadfast and trust God that He knows what is happening to us.
God may be silent but that does not mean He has taken a walk out of your life.
Just like a building which is erected behind a wall, we can’t always see it as it progresses.
But that does not mean there is nothing going on. God has good plans for us and His plans is being carried out and any circumstances you encounter is needed to prepare you for those plans He has for you.
**Delay is not Denial, but we can say it is a time whereby you groom yourself for the promise of God for your life.**
It is very hard when we are not seeing God in action in our lives. But that does not mean that he isn’t working or acting on our behalf.
I am sure there may have been times while Joseph was in prison that he would have quietly called out to God, asking for when he will be saved from his ordeals. It’s okay if we also do the same but we shouldn't overdo it.
Many of us have planned either by writing or in your heart when the will of God will manifest in our lives.
**Delay tactics are so deceiving and are some of the enemies work because the enemy seeks to trick us up by filling our minds with doubt.**
You might be in a great debt and have no way out of it, that there's delay in repaying the debt doesn't mean you've been denied and you won't make the payment. But NO, you will.
You might be heal, and it might be so difficult to get your healing, you might feel God has forgotten you and you are delayed. But NO, the delay is not denial. You will get well.
You might have a business that is not going well and you feel the delay is annoying because you are not making sales. NO, the delay is for a reason.
**The enemy will want you to be of the mindset that the Lord is not concerned about your needs or that He isn’t willing to fulfill all the promises that He made to each and everyone of us in God's word.**
He is actually working for us in the background.
**He worked for me. I got my desired state for my National Youth Service Corps, and would be passing out in few weeks to come.**
"**Delay is not necessarily denial!!!🤣🤣🤣"**
According to the lead image, expect delays, but it doesn't connote denial.
The Young shall Grow
**June 3rd, 2022.**
**The young shall grow, a phrase that must be painted on the walls of the building of anyone that is expecting a child.**
**The young shall grow, a phrase that must be chanted by parents and guardians when they are in the presence of someone younger than them.**
**The young shall grow, a phrase that should be spoken by one to oneself, especially when in soberness.**
The young shall grow, a repeating statement that should not cease to run through one's mind, when they are either planning to have a child or raise a child. A statement that is so prominent that no matter what happens at any given time in one's life, it has to be mentioned with fervour, like one's favourite artist or sports team.
What does the statement mean? It means you should not take your life for granted. It means you should not trade your life for anything. It means you should look beyond what you see and what you feel. It means you should be optimistic about the future. It means you shouldn't build castles in the sky, but at least build something tangible.
When one is young, one has energy, enthusiasm and ideas. However, the lack of experience makes it difficult for such persons to express their creativity and inventiveness. There are many things that only the young can do, and there are lots of problems that young minds can solve.
No matter how young one is at the moment, a time will certainly come when such a person will be of maturity. It's either happening now or in a few years to come but maturity is unavoidable and something we never escape from. With maturity, it means we will have to be responsible for our possible actions, come up with better ways to handle things and make better decisions among other things.
Mature persons will also have new sorts of issues and worries but one thing that doesn't change is that we are still human beings no matter how old we are. This means that mature people also have their own set of worries to deal with. The difference is that aside from the basic problems faced by all humans, mature people also have to confront their own personal demons.
It's the cycle of life. Everyone at some point in time grows from a kid to someone of advanced age. The same applies to businesses which at one point start small and gradually grow bigger.
This is one of the reasons why we can say that the young shall grow. It's a certainty that we cannot stop this cycle.
Whether you are a young kid with a dream or a business which has just started up, never forget that you shall grow in time. Don't let failure break you as giving up is not an option but rather a temporary cessation of progress towards your goal.
There certainly comes a season in a person's life when one has to grow. The same is true about nations. No matter how backward a nation or a person may seem, there will come a time when such will get to be at the forefront.
The same is true about our dear Nigeria. It has been a long while since Nigeria got to be an independent nation. Since then, people have shown their ability to grow and develop. The state of infrastructure in some parts of the country may not be as good as it could be but the truth is that what we have today is an improvement on what we had in the past. We are not there yet, but we are not where we used to be. Hopefully, the nation will grow to a state that we would all be pleased with.
It's June Already
**June 1st, 2022.**
It's a new month already. The last month in the first half of the year.
What have you achieved?
We've got 6 months before December to achieve that goal if you haven't yet.
What will you do to achieve it?
We believe anything is possible. All you have to do is set your mind to what you want and work at it one step at a time.
New Month… New Goals?
It's time to think about your goal, another goal, another milestone.
We reset for half the year and now here we are mid way through the year.
Are you happy where you are?
Are you proud of what you have done so far?
Are you going to let June pass without achieving another goal?
You have time to do it. We still have 6 more months of measurable data, another 6 more months of goals, and another 6 more months to change the world.
You may have already achieved some of your goals while working on others. That is great. Even if you haven't achieved any of your goals, you still have more opportunities to do that.
No matter how many more days are in this month, there is still time to achieve what you set out to do.
There is no shame in not having gotten it done. But shame on you if you didnt set out to do it in the first place. The target isn't an excuse to procrastinate or delay. You set them because you know, you have the capacity to achieve them. For those of us that have been hitting those targets, we should be proud of the efforts we have put in so far.
So, if you made a goal or said you were going to do something this year -- there is still time. Time to get started. Time to act. You can keep your goals private, or you could share them with your friends.
Just this morning, I sat down with myself and asked myself what am I doing? As part of my monthly check-in, I took stock of the things that I wanted to achieve from January to June.
I am not where I want to be yet but at the same time, I am not where I used to be.
There is still time. If you have failed to achieve any of your goals for this year, there is still time to make things happen.
How do you make it happen though? I'll tell you how I do it. I usually set out some goals for the year and the first few months of the year I push harder because I am close to finishing the year and I don't want to give up on any of my goals by then. By the beginning of June, I am seeing progress on all my goals and I continue pushing but with more focus on one or two goals that I think will help me achieve my target at the end of the day.
Just like it's very easy to get distracted with the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives, it can be easy to lose momentum and focus on achieving what's important most to us.
**Happy new month to us all.**
**We are one step closer to out dreams/goals.**
No Mercy after Death
**May 29th, 2022.**
Hear Me Out Please...
Do you know that if you are pronounced dead this minute, that 99.99% of your friends will pppponly be shocked and unhappy within the first 5 minutes the news hit them?
A few tear drops and then the rest in peace.
All that comes to the mind of all the family members is how they would prepare for your burial immediately if you are a Muslim.
And if at all you are a Christian they would all conclude on the best or affordable mortuary they can deposit your body before the burial proper.
Only few people will go to your Facebook wall, WhatsApp or any of your other social media reach, to ask questions about your sudden demise, scream in disbelief, and then type rest in peace.
Many will just go to your wall and Click the in friend but ton immediately, no time for long sermon, life goes on.
Also, those who have your phone number will Scroll through their phone contacts and delete your numberr with immediate effect.
If you have watched the movie Titanic, just like Rose detached her hands from Jack's firm grip in the movie when he was frozen to death, We would let go of every thing that connects us to you in the physical and all we that we would have left are memories, while we move on to other things.
Even your family members would start referring to you as corpse.
Many who can not leave your presence but for a moment while you were alive will be afraid to be left alone in the room you once shared or lived in while you were still alive.
Not every members of your family or friend would like to see what your dead body looks like because that sight might torment them for a very long time.
All that would be left are memories of you be it pleasant or unpleasant.
We are passerby/pilgrims here on earth. One day we shall all pass away. Our trip will be over and we would have to drop at our own station.
For what it's worth, please live each day like it's going to be your last with the best of intentions and a good heart.
Forgive all those who hurt you.
Forgive those who apologize for hurting you, even before they apologize. Stop holding grudges.
Apologise when you hurt others as well.
Love and love and love again and again, regardless of the situation.
This is coming from an humble heart. Do as you will be done by, before doing anything ask yourself, "would I be happy if this is done to me?". If your answer is yes, then go ahead and do it. But if your answer is otherwise, think it all over again and have a change of heart.
Tomorrow isn't guaranteed at all, those of us who saw today, may not see tomorrow. So, why not live a life worthy of emulation.
That when people remember you, or better put, whenever you come into their minds, the memories of you they have would be a sweet one and an evergreen loving memory.
I come in peace....
QueenRay cares, just making a common sense because life is just for a while. **There's no mercy after death.**
Education makes the Difference
May 28th, 2022.
Education makes the difference. An educated fellow will never be the same again after he is educated. And this is why the reasoning of an educated fellow will always be different from the reasoning of an uneducated fellow.
I emphasize on education because education opens your mind and enlightens you with the ways of thinking that you haven't known yet. Education makes the difference and help us to reach our full potential. If we can have a good education, we can be anything in this world that we want to be.
Not every child has an equal opportunity to attain education. In fact, many schools lack funds to provide academic necessities and other learning necessities like basic equipment and resources.
I am writing about the importance of education because education makes all the difference. I was always an average student growing up, getting average grades but as I gained knowledge my grades rose as did my understanding.
My point is that everyone isn't good at everything and even though I might be an engineer my best friend is a writer. I might be a Mathematician and my best friend is a Lawyer. I am not the same as them, they aren't the same as me, we are different, but we have so much in common.
The education we received from our parents was the best gift they could ever have given us. The knowledge they shared with us, the life experience they passed on to us, and their lessons in the value of hard work will forever be embedded in our minds. The one thing that has been proven to make the biggest difference in people's lives is education.
Because an education gives you the power to make the difference. Education hands you the power to control your own destiny. There is no difference between a graduate and non-graduates. The only difference there is, the one who got his education will always be different. He will always be better, than the other one.
We get educated to learn what we do not know that well.
Because education gives you the power to make the difference. Education hands you the power to control your own destiny.
Education makes the difference which is why the reasoning of an educated fellow will always be different. The reason for this is not just because the fellow himself has changed but primarily because his view in life has changed.
Education makes you see things from a different perspective. It opens your eyes to things you've never seen before and it makes you appreciate the things you once thought were ordinary.
It opens your mind to new possibilities and opportunities which before you knew nothing about and it allows you to take on challenges you don't think are possible.
There are many things that education has done and that's why we need it. The world has been in a state of constant change and the one thing we need to change with it is our education system itself.
The power to make a difference is an inborn gift and this is one thing which makes the life worth living. Such a gift is often ignored by most of the individuals who don't feel the need for it. The reasoning comes in form of lessons. There are various things that can teach us to reason and some of them are more effective than others.
Life is a journey that has to be traveled with every kind of motivation in mind. The main purpose of education is to train and develop the mindsets as well as the skills of the individuals who are ready to learn what is going to benefit them in the long run.
Education doesn't make a man perfect in all his endeavors but it makes sure he understands what is going on around him and how he can maintain his status for the good of himself and for those around him.
The difference between an educated mind and an uneducated one is very big. The reason is because an educated man sees things from the perspective of how it will affect people around him, the society. An uneducated man on the other hand is usually selfish and thinks only of himself and how he will gain from things.
Get Education. Get Wisdom. Get Fulfilment.
Life is Short
May 27th, 2022.
**Life is very short and the years go by before you know it. You must seize the moment, for today's the day.**
"Life is short" - It's just three words, but they hold a lot of meaning. It's a reminder of the importance of living your best life.
Have a date, have a dream. Make the most of every precious minute, for life is very short and time goes by so fast.
Write a letter to a friend, or take a walk in the park. If you're single, you can go and meet some handsome chap, or you can just stay at home and watch TV.
Life is short and time flies. So don't just stand there like a stone, get up and do something, do anything.
Break the rules. Forgive quickly. Kiss slowly. Love truly. Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret anything that made you smile.
Life is short. Live it while you may.
Live it as well as you can; live it as fully as you can; live it as joyfully as you can; live it as helpfully as you can; live it as humbly as you can; live it as honestly as you can; and have no fear when death comes, because life has always been a preparation for something that death cannot change - the eternal life of the soul in God's own land.
Life is not much more than a wink of the eye, as the raven flies. Life is made up of sunrises and sunsets, and filled with time.
Time is what you make of it. Time passes so quickly, that it is gone before you know it. The best advice that anyone can give you is to enjoy every minute of your life. The best moments are fleeting; they are over in a moment, and then you will never get them back again.
So make sure that you are happy and comfortable with the choices that you make in life. You can do this by following your heart and listening to your inner voice.
Life is made up of the little choices that we make every day. Each day is different from the next, so make the best choices possible for you. Experience all of the joys that life has to offer, both big and small, because it will be over in a blink of an eye. Life does not need to be complicated or difficult; it just needs to be experienced and enjoyed to the fullest extent possible for you and for everyone that you may share it with.
You don't want to look back on your life when your days are done and wonder what could have happened if you had chosen differently along the way. If there was something that was bothering you, then get it off your chest today, because there really isn't any time that can be lost.
Life is short.
Follow the life advice of Bret McKenzie and his songs:
1) Make good choices
2) Be kind to others
3) Travel the world
4) Have a positive outlook and don't get too hung up on things
and last but not least,
5) "Be the best, be so good at everything you do"
So I admonish us to live life as it comes, try to be ourselves and not emulate others.
How will you spend your own life?
What if you had very few choices to make, in your life?
What if you had no choice but to be good, kind and generous?
What if every day was a routine that you stuck to?
What if you could never complain about anything in your life?
That's sounds pretty lonely, doesn't it? These are the questions that plague us. The questions that keep us awake at night.
Life is short. It's simple and it's complicated all at once. And yet, we live in the moment – one step at a time.
Consistency
May 25th, 2022.
`Be your biggest fan.`
`Consistency is harder when no one is clapping for you.`
`You must clap for yourself during those times.`
`Be your biggest fan.`
`No one else will be as hard on you as you are on yourself.`
`You are your best competition and your toughest critic.`
`When it comes to consistency, you're your own worst enemy.`
Consistency is harder when no one is clapping for you. It's easier to be consistent when others are holding you accountable. You must clap for yourself during those times. Be your biggest fan.
There may be times in your life when no one appears to be clapping for you—no one is reaching out to ask you how things are going or to check in on you. Your career may not be where you'd want it to be. Your health may not be at the level you want it to be. You may feel like you're off your game and others think you've lost your edges.
From my earliest memories, I've been a fan of myself.
Now, everyone can come to my programs/events and know that no matter what event they're at, they'll have fun and make some new friends. When you are your biggest fan, you're confident in your own skin and you have a great time being you.
When you're at an event where no one looks like you, or acts like you, or has the same interests like you, it can be intimidating. Your confidence goes down, your happiness goes down - it weighs on you. When you love yourself, you can be yourself. You don't have to try to be someone else to fit in. You can be free to be who you were made to be. Everyone is different and a party with a wide variety of people can be the best party of all.
The value in consistency is that it allows you to create momentum and forward progress. That's how things change. That's how problems are solved. That's how darkness is banished. Consistency is hard and you should be proud of yourself when you do the work and when you follow through.
You have to clap for yourself during those times. Be your biggest fan.
That's what one of my friends tells her kids every morning when they go off to school that consistency is more important than talent; more important than luck; and more important than ideas without execution.
**Consistency allows your talent and your ideas to be seen by others. Consistency allows you to have a career. Consistency allows you to earn a living, to feed your family, and to pay the bills when they come due. Consistency allows you to build a business that gives back. Consistency allows you to make your life better with every new step forward that you take.**
Consistency is harder when no one is clapping for you.
You must clap for yourself during those times. Be your biggest fan.
Your greatest success will always be just around the corner. Always expect greatness. Always expect it, and then work hard to achieve it.
Life is hard, so don't make it harder than it needs to be. If you feel you're going to fail at something, you will fail at something small. If you expect victory and keep pushing forward, you will fail a few times, but the ultimate success that comes from these small failures is worth the struggle.
Shortcuts will never get you to where you want to be in life and business. The journey is in itself the victory.
**Sometimes, the kindest thing you can do for yourself is to believe in yourself. Don't just try to be your biggest fan; be relentless about it. When nobody is screaming your name or telling you how awesome you are, clap for yourself. Be consistent about it.**
Tell the world you think you're an amazing person. Have faith that you're destined to do great things.
You see it every day. Someone posts a video to YouTube, Instagram and Facebook gets views, and Snapchat picks it up or even post an article here on readcash. But, how many of those interactions were real?
How many people saw your articles and did nothing?
How many people just left a like or comment on your post and then went on with their day without engaging?
How many people are your real fans? Your real friends? Your real supporters?
**Be yourself completely. Be your biggest fan.**
The meaning of life is to live it well
**May 24th, 2022.**
Eggs are very fragile. You need to handle them really really really carefully. Words are like eggs. They are also very fragile. You also need to handle them very very very carefully. Once they fall, it gets really hard to pick or fix back. The words you say will always be there somewhere. Either you tell it to a friend, write it down somewhere or share it through social media etc.
So be careful with the words that you say to other people. Because once it's out in the open, it needs to go somewhere and you can't bring it back. It may come back at the wrong time, or wrong place and you'll be surprised at the impact it causes to the other person.
Simple is better. Make your words simple.
People are so powerful in what they say. Their words can have a great impact on the people around them. With only words, we can create or destroy lives, love and relationships. We need to be very careful in choosing the words we use. We need to think about our actions and figure out if something we are about to say is worth saying at all.
The word "Love" is one of those very powerful words. A lot of people have different definitions for the word, but for me love is when you feel so comfortable around someone that you willingly do things that you don't necessarily want to do with that person just because you love them.
That is what I call love and that is how I show my love to my kids, my friends and family.
Words are like eggs and once they fall, it gets so hard to pick or fix back [the break]. So whenever you are going to say something, think if it is worth saying at all or if you can just stay silent instead.
I have always said that words are the most powerful forces on earth. But it was the first time that I read it in a book(can't really remember the name of the book) when someone put it so clearly: "Words are like eggs because they're fragile and once they break, it's hard to make them back."
Just imagine a life where we appreciate both words and eggs as much as Tiger Woods appreciates a great shot or Serena Williams cherishes her Grand Slam titles.
As a child, I once went to my grandfather and asked him, "What is the meaning of life?"
He replied, "Daughter, the meaning of life is to live it well."
I smiled and thought that my grandfather was joking with me. So, to test his statement, I went to my mom and asked her the same question again.
"The meaning of life is to live it well."
I was confused. I decided to get advice from an old man who was sitting in a park near our house.
He smiled and said, "The meaning of life is, to find the meaning of your life."
I went back home feeling hopeless. I got into my room and thought about it. How can I live a meaningful life, then I got the reply myself, I can live a life of meaning if my words are seasoned and meaningful. That I need to think before I speak.
Try not to be careless with your words. Words are very powerful. They are like eggs and once they fall, it gets so hard to pick or fix back. Just as you walk through a market, you may drop an egg and it'll break into pieces. It is the same with words.
When were. young we do not really think about the power of words, we just use them, like the air that we breathe in. But as life moves on, some words become so important to you that you keep them close and safe. You might even give someone else some advice to be careful with your words. This can happen for many reasons.
Good words are like eggs. We try to pick the good ones and get rid of the bad ones. But sometimes we make a wrong choice, don't know how to use them or loose the good ones. We all need to work on learning new words and using them properly.
It shall be Well
May 22nd, 2022.
"It shall be well – move on, don't be tired, it shall be well."
"It shall be well" is a phrase that was borrowed from a song composed by a Swedish musician and that has become a mantra for those who are confronted with life's struggles.
Life goes on. Whatever it is, it'll be well. Don't be too hard on yourself. It's not worth it. Even though you can't see any light at the end of the tunnel, trust that there will be a light there. You're the only person who can get you through this. No one else can or will do it for you.
You are stronger than you think. It's okay to not be okay. You're going to make it through this. You will never truly understand how strong you are until you go through what you are currently going through now. Everything that happens is a lesson. Every experience is a lesson. There will be people who won't know what to say or think so they won't say or think anything at all and that's perfectly fine.
It shall be well. Because it is.
Sometimes the loudest voices are necessary to be heard in the chaos, but often those voices drown out the more important messages that we each need to hear.
The voices of our friends and family bring a sense of peace, even when it's hard to hear the truth, or to be challenged by people who might really care but who also might really be wrong.
The voice that offers you a place to discover, be inspired, and get a kick in the ass when you really need it.
It shall be well; actually it should be well and we can go on together.
Let's change the world and not let feelings get in the way.
It shall be well, my brother/sister. It'll be really well. Move on, don't be tired.
It'll be well because whatever happened, there's something beautiful for you round the next corner.
And if you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours.
At least if you've nothing else left to offer.
Everything will work out in time and you will reap the rewards of your suffering at some point down the road, be sure of that.
But there are moments when you feel like giving up. You feel like that journey is too long, you feel tired and you don't feel like moving forward anymore.
Life will always find a way to get you through it.
Don't forget that no matter how hard life can get, it shall be well.
There is more than one person who gets tired and lost hope but there are also people who believed in themselves and never gave up, they kept on going until they got what they have been working for all this time.
Don't give up...
It's okay to Cry
May 21st, 2022.
It's actually okay to cry, there are times you will feel overwhelmed and even weighed down. It wont hurt if you cry. But there will be tears and sometimes no it doesn't mean that you're weak. You can't always bottle up your emotions even if you think it'll go away tomorrow.
Sometimes, you feel like crying but you are afraid of what people might think. You don't want to be seen as weak. Sometimes, you will cry despite your efforts to hold it in. That's okay. Crying doesn't make you a weak person. Life isn't easy sometimes, there will be times when you will feel sad and when that happens, it's okay to cry.
The world is a roller coaster of emotions, not all of them are pleasant. Sometimes you need to let them out and sometimes you don't.
*I was in the front row at this show for an event for Lupus LA and the show ended with a video with Lupus patients and survivors talking about their experiences with the disease and how it has impacted their lives.*
*One of the women asked people to join her in a dance to celebrate their journey fighting lupus. The music started and it got me hype, I couldn't help but dance and sing along. When I finished singing along, I immediately began to dance at first but instead of whipping my hair back and forth, I let out a single tear. It wasn't until later that night that I realized I cried. Rather than tell myself it was okay or wipe my tear away, I embraced it.*
The world is not always a nice place. There are bad people out there and sometimes the bad people will hurt you. It is okay to cry because sometimes you will get hurt – that's just how life works. It is alright to be vulnerable. And even if you decide to appear strong on the outside, inside, you are allowed to feel whatever it is that you are feeling.
When the pressure is high or the struggle is real, just do everything you can to relax, take a deep breath and then cry for a minute or two. You can't be at your best when you're holding in your emotions. Letting go doesn't mean you're weak it just means you're strong enough to face your reality.
Sometimes you'll feel lonely, or scared, or upset, but it is okay to cry, it will help you let go of your feelings and when you do, you'll feel better and the tears will show you that they can help you return to your normal self.
When something bad happens, you may start crying if this is something very important to you. You can't help but cry, because of something that has happened to someone that you love, or a friend, or even a family member.
It's okay to be happy and sad at the same time too. Sometimes you feel happy because something good has happened, and other times you just feel sad and want to cry, but they're two different emotions.
Life can be so frustrating and sometimes unbearable. But know that throughout our lives we will go through valleys and peaks. We will experience beautiful moments and horrible moments. It's okay to cry because sometimes hurting is the best way to heal.
Know that the pain is temporary and won't last forever; it may seem like the pain will rule over you forever but it won't. There will come a time when relief comes and happiness abounds.
Don't let negativity ruin your life because it won't last forever, eventually your day will come when everything falls into place and you'll realize that things aren't as bad as they seem right now.
Somewhere along the way, we've been made to believe that crying is a sign of weakness or a sign that you can't handle it.
Sometimes people try to comfort us by telling us not to cry when we're sad because soneone will see us and think we're weak.
You can't always bottle up your emotions. It's okay to let go of your tears because at the end of the day, happiness is being able to let go of things that no longer serve you.
Realizing that the world is too much to handle is a challenging but necessary part of personal growth. If you are feeling a lot lately, it is okay to cry, in whatever way makes sense to you. It hurts, I know, it hurts a lot. But let's face it, you are strong enough. Life is so hard and not everyone will understand it. That's okay, you will endure and make your own way on this path called life.
Jack of all Trades
May 20th, 2022.
I remember a time when it was considered bad to be "jack of all trades/master of none". The argument is that you don't master anything because you're constantly switching roles.
**Jack of all trades + Master of None**
But I think the reality of this view is changing, especially in today's world where we have such a wide variety of skills to share. For example, it's indeed a good thing to be a jack of all trades (let's say: software engineer + UI/UX + creative) because it gives you the ability to adapt to many different roles.
I have a friend who recently said that she has a question about being a jack of all trades, asking about the benefits of having lots of handworks/trades?
"Well, it depends on what your goal is, I guess. But I see no negative about having lots of trades.
**Oh yeah...I'm pretty much a Jack of all trades when it comes to my craft as well. I mean I do everything from baking, to writing, to decorating, to making liquid soaps/detergents and antiseptics. I just love being multi-talented like this.**
Since there's no negative attached if you're a jack of all trades, what are the benefits of having lots of handworks/trades?
For one, it gives you an edge over other people in the field.
If you are capable and flexible enough to do other things in the industry or business that you're working on, then you'll be able to save time and money.
You'll find yourself doing things faster and better than other people who are just focused on one thing.
You've all heard stories of the guy that can fix anything around the house. You know, the one who can rewire a lamp, oil a squeaky hinge and hang a flat screen TV. He is known as a jack of all trades.
It sounds like a good thing to be a jack of all trades. Is it?
In theory you can do most everything required to keep your home in repair and looking good. In reality, there are some serious drawbacks to spreading yourself so thin.
If you don't involve yourself in a wide range of duties, you will be increasingly reliant on your family and friends for help, who may not be around when needed.
**Identifying your strengths and weaknesses and focusing on just a few of the many things you enjoy doing will give you more time to focus on things you can do well and, hopefully, make a living at it.**
I want to learn as many skills/trades as I can. My reasoning for this is that if I know how to do as many things as possible, then I will be valuable to a lot of companies and even to myself.
**We all might have come across this very interesting saying ''Jack of all trades, master of none''.**
**I can't disagree for the reason that this saying has deep-rooted history.** In ancient time, most of the people were artisans and not just one. This made sense because if you were a leatherworker, then you would not also be a shoemaker and if you were a shoemaker then you would not also be tailor.
If there's a trade you feel like learning or it could be a skill, go for it and be the best you could ever be. The sky is your stepping stone.
A Million Idea
May 18th, 2022
I was just scrolling through twitter yesterday when I saw the post above. It was just timely because there are million ideas in my mind.
To get it done, one need to hate one's comfort zone and struggle out of it. That is when you can be limitless.
What is inspiration?
Is it an idea?
Is it a mindset or a comfort?
Most of us think it's just an idea.
It's okay to have a million ideas in one's mind. But to get it done, one need to hate one's comfort zone and struggle out of it.
When you hate your comfort zone, you can go beyond your limit and become limitless.
Life is too short to be ordinary. Make today different from yesterday. Make today limitless!
To achieve something that seems impossible, one need to challenge the limit in every minute, every hour, every day.
It is okay to have a million ideas in one's mind. It is okay to be inspired by a million possibilities. And it is okay to dream so big that you might feel terrified.
To be limitless, you need to challenge your limit. You need to struggle out of your comfort zone and face your fears head on. For me, I hate cold weather and I feel uncomfortable when I have no idea what's going on in the world. But that's what motivates me to wake up at 5 am everyday, fetch the news, read through them and try to digest it by taking off my glasses with sticky fingers so that I can get over the physical discomfort and see a bigger picture in my mind.
We all have a million ideas in our minds. To be honest, some of them are not so bad after all. You just have to hate your comfort zone and struggle out of it. Now you can be limitless.
The world is moving too fast and new ideas are popping up every single day. But where can one find inspiration? How can one make this crazy world more beautiful and peaceful? Just like the slogan of "life", what you are inspired by will shape your life. And in life, you will always find inspiration if you are willing to look for it.
In one of his Socratic dialogues, Plato famously asked "What do you have in your mind when you have, not just a good idea, but a million?"
The question is, why does it feel so difficult to bring even one idea to life?
The struggle that many of us have faced, is that we can never seem to let go of the comfort that makes us feel secure and this limits our potential. Few of us who are not famous entrepreneurs or leaders of any kind can actually claim that they have had the guts to take their ideas and transform them into something tangible.
***This is what most people will tell you; 'the moment you let go of your comfort zone and start working on your idea it becomes this uphill struggle.'***
***Here is what they never tell you: when you are finally able to push through and bring your idea to life it feels like coming back home. It feels like coming full circle.***
Regardless of one's career path, education or point of life, it is not at all uncommon to be dominated by the thought "I can't do this." A million idea might sound like overkill but it is precisely how our world has been built- on people having a million ideas.
Doubts, oppositions and failures never come to an end and they might affect one's inspiration and motivation.
One might even come up with a way to make everything easier. But if you want to do something great, you need more than just inspiration and motivation. You need your mind to be in a great shape, quiet and in order. You need to identify the most important thing you want to do, and what the best possible way for you is to work on it.
**Conclusion:**
There are so many of us who are stuck in our comfort zones, continuously thinking about the best ways to get out of it. People who hate their comfort zone, always struggling, will never get bored.
Those who hate their comfort zone and constantly struggle, will fall in and out of it; however, they will have a million ideas in their mind regarding how to get out from it. They can be limitless with their ideas.
Conquering Fear
May 16th, 2022.
**Ways to fight your fears**
Whatever it is that scares you, here are ways to help you cope with your day-to-day fears and anxieties.
**1. Take time out**
It's impossible to think clearly when you're flooded with fear or anxiety. The first thing to do is take time out so you can physically calm down.
Distract yourself from the worry for 15 minutes by walking around the block, making a cup of tea or having a bath.
**2. Breathe through panic**
If you start to get a faster heartbeat or sweating palms, the best thing is not to fight it.
Stay where you are and simply feel the panic without trying to distract yourself. Place the palm of your hand on your stomach and breathe slowly and deeply.
The goal is to help the mind get used to coping with panic, which takes the fear of fear away.
**3. Face your fears**
Avoiding fears only makes them scarier. Whatever your fear, if you face it, it should start to fade. If you panic one day getting into a lift, for example, it's best to get back into a lift the next day.
**4. Imagine the worst**
Try imagining the worst thing that can happen, perhaps it's panicking and having a heart attack. Then try to think yourself into having a heart attack. It's just not possible. The fear will run away the more you chase it.
**5. Look at the evidence**
It sometimes helps to challenge fearful thoughts. For example, if you're scared of getting trapped in a lift and suffocating, ask yourself if you have ever heard of this happening to someone. Ask yourself what you would say to a friend who had a similar fear.
**6. Don't try to be perfect**
Life is full of stresses, yet many of us feel that our lives must be perfect. Bad days and setbacks will always happen, and it's important to remember that life is messy.
**7. Visualise a happy place**
Take a moment to close your eyes and imagine a place of safety and calm. It could be a picture of you walking on a beautiful beach, or snuggled up in bed, or a happy memory from childhood. Let the positive feelings soothe you until you feel more relaxed.
**8. Talk about it**
Sharing fears takes away a lot of their scariness. Talk to a partner, friend or family member.
**9. Go back to basics**
Lots of people turn to alcohol or drugs to self-treat anxiety, but this will only make matters worse. Simple, everyday things like a good night's sleep, a wholesome meal and a walk are often the best cures for anxiety.
**10. Reward yourself**
Finally, give yourself a treat. When you've made that call you've been dreading, for example, reinforce your success by treating yourself to a massage, a country walk, a meal out, a book, a DVD, or whatever little gift makes you happy.
Personal Follow Up
May 14th, 2022.
Real change is not a function of attending many "powerful programs or occasions", but by doing something about the ones you have attended.
Go and check it, you have attended a lot of "life changing events ", but nothing specific is changing about you. You know why?
You're not intentional about effecting changes. You are putting the power to effect a change in those programs, occasions and ministers, forgetting that you can be ministered to, and still fail to walk in the reality of what you have "received".
A program, just as the name implies is expected to effect a new programming in your system, it should birth new decisions and habits. If you can't SIT DOWN after a program to ask yourself what you have received, and what you want to start doing, nothing will change about you.
Little wonder you're ALWAYS looking for the NEXT POWERFUL PROGRAM to attend. You don't know how these things work, those programs are opening you to a new AWARENESS in God, and life generally, they're showing you that new possibilities are available in your life (including your career, relationships, health, finances, your spiritual life, to mention but a few), but you need to do a PERSONAL FOLLOW UP on yourself.
Define the specifics of what you're receiving, and how you intend to use those things in your daily living.
Make sure you take time to focus on yourself as well as your customers. Take a five-minute break now and then to read a book, meditate, or just breathe.
Before jumping up at that next program or occasion on your calendar, shouting it was POWERFUL/SPLENDID/INTERESTED! I encourage you to have a definition of what POWERFUL means to you. I know it was DEEP, but how has the deepness of that program birth DEPTH in your own life?
Many people in our society spend far too much time on how the events/program they attend ends up, while forgetting to work on themselves. After all, it's not your career that makes you truly happy. It's your personal life. Make sure you're not neglecting your personal life.
PAUSE and THINK!
Don't be seen at every programs, and still be living with the programming we've known you with for decades now. Christ didn't die for you to be marking attendance everywhere.
Personal follow up - You need to be proactive when it comes to your personal development. Don't just attend events for the fun of it.
Go ahead and build on your learning by signing up for another event with the intention of coming out strong. It might be a monthly meetup or a weekend-long course. We all learn at different paces and at different speeds so there's no shame in repeating an event if you've picked up valuable lessons from a previous one.
I call you BLESSED!
When all Hope Seem Lost
May 13th, 2022.
We may not realize it, but there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. When all hopes are lost, God will come to the rescue.
When all hopes are lost, when my life seems like a lost cause, it's in times like these that I know that God will come to the rescue. He will not fail me. He reminds me of this in the scriptures, telling me that even when Moses tried to go up the mountain to see God, he was denied because of his sins. Yet God sent an angel to talk to Moses in the place of him meeting with him directly. God has always sent someone from the sidelines, to help us when we are down.
I've been discouraged and worn out. I've been heartbroken and I've been hopeless. I've felt as though this was it for me, but as I sit here now writing this, I feel like God is reminding me that when all hope is lost, that's when he will come to the rescue.
Thanks to my amazing sponsors
He will show you a light you didn't know existed and he will have your back even when you have no one else to turn to. I'll never forget the time I was hopeless and down and I didn't know what was going to happen next. It was then that I heard a voice speaking directly to my spirit. It was at that point that I understood that God had my back, that he understood my situation and he knew how I felt in the core of my being. It's in times like these when all hope seems lost, that I remind myself, that God is always there for us.
When all hopes are lost, and all hidden to the human eye, when I'm down and my soul so weary, when it seems all hopes are lost, God will come to the rescue
When it seems there is no hope, no justice, no peace, no passion. When it seems all hopes are lost, God will come to the rescue. He'll take you by the hand and lead you to a place of comfort. He'll wipe away your tears and fill you with His love. He'll soothe you in your trials and strengthen you with His truth.
When it seems all hope is gone and you can't find a friend to help ease the pain when there is nowhere left to turn and no one knows the way. When it seems all hopes are lost God will come to the rescue
When all hope is gone that's when God comes in
God's gonna come and rescue me
God's gonna come and rescue me.
When all hopes are lost, the only thing we have left is the hope that comes from God. When times seem to be the hardest, God provides a way.
No matter what we feel, no matter how lost or confused we become, there is always hope in Christ. Sometimes this hope comes in the form of a physical task, a project that needs to be completed, or an obligation that needs to be met. But more often than not this hope comes in the form of an intangible change that occurs in our hearts… a change that we can't always see but will never forget.
Can Money Fix All Things?
May 11th, 2022.
I was going out the other day and saw a car with a bumper sticker that said "Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy you the kind of misery you prefer."
Cash cannot fix a bad heart. It can't help with death or disease. It can't fix a child's grades in school. Cash cannot fix an empty relationship or broken friendships. It can't stop you from lying to yourself.
I remember the first time I heard someone say "money can't buy you happiness." At that time I didn't know what they meant but as I got older and started to understand money and my relationship with it.
I began to see that they were right. Money isn't the answer to everything. It can't fix death, it can't fix a broken home, but money can fix so many things!
First of all, money fixes time. Time is such a valuable thing. How many times do we do the same thing over and over again because we are short on time? If we had more money then we would be able to afford more things to help us save time. For example, if you find yourself running late for work you could afford to take a cab or an Uber. Or if you forgot your lunch it would be easier to pick up something on your way home rather than going through the hassle of cooking dinner.
**In the book 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad', one of the lessons was to always strive for financial freedom.**
The world runs on money. It decides who gets to go to school, who receives healthcare, who receives food, and where you live. It can buy most things but has it's limits, as it can't buy **death.**
As a culture, we are fixated on money. Every move we make is based on how it will affect our bank account. We're so distracted by our finances that we've become blind to the suffering of others.
You could have the most luxurious lifestyle, but does it really matter if you don't have anyone to share it with?
Money can't replace Time. Money can't replace Loved Ones. Money can't replace Memories. Money can't buy Happiness.
**I am going to answer three questions, but I will try to do it in one sentence or less. You can now begin to guess what I will say.**
1. Can money fix all things? For example, can you buy happiness?
2. If you could fix one thing in the world, what would it be?
3. If you could live forever, would you?
**My answers are as follows:**
1. At this time I do not believe money can fix all things but I really believe that you can as well buy you happiness.
2. I would fix everything that is bad in the world today, such as corruption, diseases and poverty.
3. I would love to live forever, but I'm certain that we all are in this world for an appointed time.
I would like to say that money makes **everything better.**
When you are little, you think having a lot of money will fix all things. That's what I thought. As I grew up, I realized that's not really how it works out. Money is just a tool to help you live your life. Your money is not your life. It's just paper that helps you make your life easier and brings you the things you want and need.
Life is a funny thing, isn't it? Once you start making money, you get to travel a lot. You see places and meet people who are richer than you and you learn from them and make new friends in the process. People who are wealthier than you are a lot more relaxed about life than people who aren't.
Money can fix many things that I cannot imagine it cannot fix. It can fix anything but it can't fix this one thing for sure: **death.**
Money is one of the most powerful things in the world. It can solve a lot of problems. Money has saved lives, built homes, and fed families.
Here's a big shoutout to ALL my sponsors. You all are the best. Thanks for the massive support. @HerBae, @foryoubtc09, @Princessbusayo, @Talecharm. And others, thanks for being there. God bless you.
Grow-Yourself Before The Garment
May 10th, 2022.
Self-Growth is one of the secrets for a long lasting relationship. No relationship grows without the ability to solve problems, it is in your place of learning you gained insight on how to solve problems and build your home in marriage.
You must learn, unlearn and relearn before you get married. Many are married and frustrated in the marriage because they never take time to develop and grow themselves before the marriage, many are married and become so inferior in the marriage just because they did not develop themselves before the marriage.
You must be dutiful before you can be relevant in marriage. Many couples are liability to each other in marriage because they wasted their single years doing nothing to develop themselves.
Listen to me, if you wish to enjoy and fulfill purpose in marriage, you must begin to learn and develop yourself in that path now while you are still a single.
No house is built from the top but from the foundation, every soldier prepared for the war and not in the war zone also you don't prepare in marriage but you prepare for a great marriage.
I advise you now, stop playing around, stop acting in the script you are not competent for, stop the parting that may not lead you anywhere, disengage yourself from association that could limit you in marriage but make serious effort to develop and prepare yourself before the marriage.
People may be singing your praises now, hailing your beauty, adoring your looks and clapping for you, just because you are nice to them but remember that beauty is not enough to keep you in marriage, and your look sometimes may not determine the look of your marriage.
The best time for you to prepare and become indispensable in marriage is now that you are still a single.
Grow yourself, improve on your career, learn on how to raise baby, learn how to cook, make house chores one of your hobby now, develop good relationship with people, learn to say 'I am Sorry', build good character, be ready to tolerate and forgive easily, look smart but not arrogance.
It is little issues that destroy great marriages, grow-yourself, prepare very well and be totally ready before you take up the wedding garment.
Receive grace to do what is right in marriage.
May rest locate you this week and in many more years to come.
A lost and dead Soul
May 8th, 2022.
`A lost and dead soul.`
`My heart speaks to you:`
`You have fallen… you have lost your way… you have lost your soul.`
`I am here to help you find your soul again.`
`I will lead you, take your hand and show you the way.`
`All you have to do is trust me.`
`An old soul returned...`
A lost and dead soul. How do we describe a soul that is lost and dead?
A person doesn't have to be alive to be described as lost and dead. It's very possible for a soul to be lost and dead even after death has already occurred. It's about the feeling it gives to others.
The word 'lost' refers to the feeling of being left alone in a cruel world. The world we live in is cruel, that's a fact. Too many people are born too early, leaving this cruel world without ever experiencing it. Once they're gone, their souls are lost.
Life is cruel but death is even more cruel. Death is the end to something that has just begun. Death is premature; death is untimely; death is unkind.
It's not at all fair how life separates us from the things that are dear to us; it's not fair at all. It's not fair how death separates us from the people we love.
A soul, who has lost its way in life, becomes the favorite plaything of death. Death is incapable of sensing the difference between those who are alive and those who are dead. He is also incapable of distinguishing between those souls lost and those who are dead, but on the verge of losing their lives. Death holds a function that is necessary to life. Although, as strange as it may seem, death is necessary to life, because it only destroys when it senses that a soul has died and lost its way in life.
…yet, although death is necessary to life and fulfills a function in the overall scheme of things, it causes the body to suffer great pain and agony. Death never comes alone. He has another partner with him and that is illness. The moment death takes hold of a body, he invites illness to do the same. A wave of illness washes over the body and begins to destroy it slowly from the inside out.
I could remember when one of my coursemates lost her mother. On the day of the funeral, I attended and as I sat there, I couldn't help but feel a strange feeling of melancholy and loss. Just like the many faces around me, our collective souls were lost, looking for direction and guidance.
It is a soul that is full of life but has no direction. It is a soul that is lost and confused on how to find the right direction. It is a soul that has dreams but doesn't know how to achieve them. It is a soul that is dead on the inside and doesn't know what to do about it.
With all the distractions in life we do not realize when our soul is starting to lose its direction. As we grow older we learn more about life and how to live it. That can cause us to forget about our soul, for we may become so focused on improving our lives without realizing what we left behind.
We live in a society that makes us believe that we need to keep working harder to make more and more money, buy bigger homes, buy nicer cars, and have the perfect families. But in reality we are at the place where we are forgetting about something very important, we are forgetting about our souls and what they truly need. If you have ever seen a person who has everything but still isn't happy then you know exactly what I am talking about.
Man can be purchased: Partiality
May 7th, 2022.
What if I told you that a man can be purchased?
In some cases, he can. If you have money to spare, you might be able to make him do what you want. But why would you dispose your hard earned money on a man who does not deserve it?
When you get to know a person, you learn about his or her philosophies and thoughts about life. But at the end of the day, we are all hungry for attention, in one way or another.
**We were asked to come for sanitation in my CDS last Saturday. I couldn't go due to some unforeseen circumstances. I wasn't the only one that missed it though.**
**On getting to the local government for clearance this month, I and the others were looked down on, abused and sent out.**
**While we were there begging, a guy came in, they chatted with him, asked why he wasn't around and cleared him.**
**I then went inside and kept begging, others came in too. Then I remembered my Friend who wasn't around yet. I called him, he came, went close to one of the bosses, spoke to her and wham!!!, we were cleared.**
**I don't pray I experience such again though. But I'm still surprised at the rate of partiality there, because we all came for the same mission, why would some people be sidelined?**
True love is often denied because there is not enough attention. And if it comes to financial stuff, men will go as far as selling their soul to get it.
Not only for love, many will go extra miles for their counterparts once they are financially settled.
So how can you become successful in accomplishing your goals?
The secret is so simple and here it is:
At one point in life, we needed to feel accepted. That feeling allowed us to grow up and learn how to interact with other humans. The same acceptance that molded our personalities has been internalized until this day.
That is why most of us would do almost anything to stay accepted by the people around us—even if it means selling out our principles and good judgment.
The extent of partiality is something most people overlook while they judge a character and their actions. People who are loyal to one side, in one situation may be loyal to the opposite side in the next. These sort of character changes are the ones that make people sway, making what had been a good investment seem less appealing and vice versa.
This is not a new phenomenon, it has been happening since ages; governments have been overthrown, businesses have lost their ground because of the loyalty divide. But this is also not a loss of anything because as trust is formed, it eventually evolves into more trust. In the end, the positive outcome overpowers the negative outcome.
A little partiality goes a long way.
It keeps the world up to date on what's going on, who's doing what and who's supporting whom. The only difference between being a bystander and being a sensationalist is the quality of your information.
A man is partial to anything in every aspect of life. He is partial to a woman who he is seeing over the woman who loves him. He is partial to a place to stay over his own house and he is partial to the person he listens in bed over the actual person talking to him.
There are, on the other hand, some areas where a man cannot be partial. If you really love yourself, you cannot be partial to anything except yourself. This is what makes us love ourselves so much.
When it comes to partiality, it is the same. You may have the best of intentions when you are partial but it may end up costing you your life.
An eye for an eye
May 5th, 2022.
Many people around the globe, especially in the western world, have learned to live their lives in a way that tit for tat is very common. When someone does something good for another person, it is expected that the other will do the opposite.
When it comes to treating others, many people believe that, that's what they need. An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, but this is wrong and it is not fair. You see, you cannot judge a person's soul with their body. It is wrong to have one eye for an eye. It is wrong to have one tooth for a tooth. You see, what happens if everyone does this? If we get revenge to those who hurt us, things will be as bad as it was before, as we continue to get revenge for getting revenge.
The majority of people live their lives by this code, each person taking the wrong which has been done to them, and doing the wrong to another.
**When I was growing up we had a saying " you better watch your back because what goes around comes around."**
The eye for an eye code is a system of justice. I think if you suffer at the hands of another and don't fight back, karma will get you later.
An eye for an eye leaves everyone blind.
This oft-quoted line from the Sermon on the Mount means that if a person seeks revenge, they will leave themselves in a state of anger and hatred.
It's been said that an eye for an eye will leave the whole world blind. Of course, that statement never really works out in practice. We're mostly blinded by our own biases and by the fact that we are all pretty much equally to blame for the world becoming a mess.
Still, we can't help but wonder how things came this far. We can't help but ask: What was it like before? We try to do our part to make things better, to be better. But, we know — above all — that we need to improve ourselves.
There are many examples of tit for tat that are bad, such as the current eye for an eye justice system. If you commit a crime that causes someone loss of eyesight, then you should be punished with blindness. This won't benefit anyone and isn't fair.
"Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."
I read once that during World War II, a prisoner of war escaped and there was a reward offered for his capture. Afterward, some soldiers captured someone the looked like him, brought him back, and collected the reward. When he showed up the next day, they didn't recognize him but still beat him up.
**The eye for an eye or tit for tat is a value that is pernicious and has no place in a vision supposed to change the world. You cannot fight evil with evil, you cannot hit out and expect to hit back harder.**
It is a fact that wrong things keep happening in the world because of eye for an eye, tit for tat. It's sad but true.
Here are some examples:
**In one of his stories, Aesop talks about a dog who had three puppies. A mean old woman lured the puppies away with food and killed them. The dog was furious and went to find the old woman.**
**The dog was planning to bite the old lady in the leg but before he did, the woman said she was sorry and wouldn't do it again. Now the dog was happy but still a little angry so he only bit her ankle instead of her whole leg.(lol)**
The inspiration for this article is that we all should not pay evil for evil or evil for good. When things are wrong around you, take a deep breath before acting.
How are you supposed to notice all the things in your life that are wrong?
So much hate and superiority in this world.
Where should I start?
How will the hate ever stop?
I guess it will never stop because I hate too.
We should just be nice to each other but how do we do that?
How can we be nice when we are so different?
How can we agree when we have different backgrounds, political views, and religions?
**All of us have been hurt in one way or another so why can't we just accept our pain and move on?**
To do so would mean not holding on to our pain, anger, and resentment. And not react to others tit for tat or an eye for an eye.
The Waiting Room
**May 4th, 2022.**
I think most people can relate to the waiting room experience. Well, no one wants to be there, but there's no choice but when there, you wait. You quietly wait. You wait without bothering anyone - without asking how much longer or how much more.
You pray for success and that you'll hear good news. It's a place of patience, a place of patience with yourself, your circumstances, and with God.
When we get to the waiting room (we all do), I hope we choose to trust God while we stay there. I hope we choose to remain patient with ourselves and God. After the waiting stops and we hear the good news, that's when the celebration begins.
The waiting room is a place of patience and prayer, anyone could be in the waiting room. It takes self control to endure. The waiting room is where we wait for our opportunity to present itself, but sometimes it doesn't come as quick as we like. The point is to be patient while we wait on God, who knows the best timing. We should be ready and willing to take that opportunity when it comes, because it will come.
You've arrived, the waiting room is now open.
You've arrived to a place of patience and prayer, anyone could be in the waiting room. It takes self control to endure.
**Here are some tips on what you can do while you're waiting to be seen.**
Take a moment to contemplate things that matter.
What makes you happy? What do you fear? What makes your heart smile?
When we encounter struggles and hardships, it's usually our emotions that tell us we're in trouble…and not the circumstances themselves.
The waiting room is an opportunity for us to recognise and identify what matters, and how we can appreciate life's little miracles.
I hope the waiting room encourages you to take a moment to reflect, before moving forward.
When you're in the waiting room, you've got one thing on your mind: getting through whatever ordeal is ahead of you as quickly and painlessly as possible. The waiting room is a place of patience and prayer.
So many people are currently in the waiting room, they have done all they can do, they have no control of the time, the moment or the outcome.
Many people have accepted the waiting room as part of their lives, they have accepted that their surroundings are not really theirs, they accept the fact that they have to wait and wait until called before they could leave.
Before we learn to love our present condition, we must learn to accept it.
When we come to a place where we accept the things we cannot change, then we will find peace.
Your own waiting room could be that:
You are seeking admission
Waiting on God for the fruit of the womb
In a quest for a new job
In need of financial breakthrough
In search for knowledge
Or it could be something else entirely.
**For someone who is in search of a job.**
Okay, so you've submitted your application and you're waiting to hear back from the employer. Everyone's done this at some point in their lives. But what happens when you want to get up out of your seat and get a drink of water?
The answer is simple, **willpower.** It is the most important thing you need to get through a waiting process, whether it be waiting for a response from an employer or while standing in line at the post office. Here are some ways you can harness willpower.
First, know that there are varying degrees of willpower. You might have a high level of willpower some days and very little on others. Willpower depends on factors such as anxiety and stress levels, so try not to take too many things into account on these bad days.
Second, don't feel like you have to move as soon as the thought pops in your head. If you really want to move, and can convince yourself that it'll help pass the time, go ahead. If not, don't feel like moving makes you any weaker than if you sat still.
Third, if you can't hold out for very long at all, don't fret! Just try your best to hold out for as long as possible and always remember that nothing lasts forever (don't set yourself up for a big fall by thinking that something will never happen, though).
When Everything comes Crumbling
May 3rd, 2022.
When everything comes crumbling.
The first step: breathe.
The second step: smile.
And the third step: don't know yet.
And that's it, we've taken all the steps we know so far.
Define your own world.
Define your own life.
Break the rules and be a lone wolf, or follow them and be a sheep.
Make your own game, do what you want and make your life worth living.
Love is the only thing that matters, treat people well and everything will work out in the end.
Love yourself more than you'll ever love anyone else.
**Define what happiness is for you and make sure you're pursuing it every day of your life.**
Take a look around you, at all of humanity, at every species on this planet and realize that nothing matters in this world except love.
Life is short, so use it to its fullest potential.
Don't let your anxiety or depression define your happiness because they shouldn't slow you down or stop you from doing anything you might want to do with your life.
Live the way you want to live now, with no regrets and no apologies, because tomorrow isn't promised to anyone and we never know when it might be here for us.
Everything that comes crumbling may fall apart if we let it, but as long as we're resilient enough and strong enough to pick up the pieces and move on with our lives, then nothing can take us down for good.
Live well, live often.
Not everything is perfect.
Sometimes we have to live with things that aren't working. Or, in the very least, we can't figure out how to make them work. Whether you're living with a bad roommate or stuck in a marriage that's not working out, there are ways to navigate difficult situations.
**When everything comes crumbling down, it's essential to build a foundation that is strong enough to withstand any storm.**
When everything comes crumbling, what do we do?
We prop each other up. We put each other first, always. We put our children first and make sure they know how much we love them and how proud we are of them. We are their safe haven and the place they run to for comfort, because ours is unconditional love.
We strengthen our families by teaching our children through example that brown skin is beautiful, as is black hair and all shades of brown. We teach them to strive for excellence and push themselves every day to be their very best selves.
We rebuild together with hope, faith and love in our hearts. We pay it forward and help lift others up. We take care of each other when times get tough and get creative when resources are limited. We never give up because when everything comes crumbling down, we must have each other's backs.
We stand tall together against hate, racism and bigotry. And if anyone tries to knock us down, we will stand even taller and fight even harder. Because when everything comes crumbling down, we fight for each other, in support of each other, with each other — as one people united in common cause for a better tomorrow for us all.
When everything comes crumbling, what do we do?
When everything you've worked for starts to fall apart. When the world tells you no one cares. When the pain is too much to bear and you feel like giving up. When your back's against the wall and you feel like you're going to lose it all. It's tough out here, we know.
In times like these, we find ourselves asking questions like "Why me?," "What if my friends don't want me anymore?, and "How can I make it?" But the truth is that "Everything" is always happening to everyone.
When you're feeling at your lowest, it's easy to succumb to fear and doubt yourself. It's hard not to be affected by what society tells us about ourselves, but sometimes a few good people who see the bigger picture are all you need to turn things around. A lifeline in the hours of darkness, and a beacon for future generations to follow when at their lowest points.
To anyone lost in despair or darkness, hang on. There will be a tomorrow and there will be a brighter day.
We go back to what we've always done, but this time with a new understanding.
We go back to who we are and the values that define us. We go back to what we've always done and the foundations that never crumble. We go back to family and friends and hope that they will be able to fall back on us. We go back to love and faith and trust in the idea that everything happens for a reason.
**We go back to our roots. We go back to zero, knowing that when everything comes crumbling, everything that matters will still be here.**
The Trap
May 2nd, 2022.
There is a trap that has caught countless individuals, businesses, and even countries. This trap is so subtle that many individuals fail to recognize it exists, or even worse, they fall into it again and again.
The Trap is a fixation on the spectacular; the temptation to be dazzled by bright lights, shiny objects, and instant gratification.
The Trap is a seductive mirage and we must endeavour to avoid being snared by its glittery allure.
**The Trap is the belief that success can be found through the path of least resistance.** That if we just take this shortcut, or use this service or buy this product it will help us achieve our goals faster or better.
**Don't fall for the trap!**
Success comes from integrity, hard work, doing the right things correctly and perceiving the world as it really exists, not as we want it to be. Achieving success takes time and involves building a strong foundation of knowledge and skills in which to grow and mature. Avoid the temptation of selling yourself short by buying shortcuts you think will bring you instant success.
Your relationships with your family, friends, partners, and customers are the foundation of your life, career, or business. When you build these relationships on honesty and integrity, you will reap long-term rewards through quality relationships and lasting success.
Once one fall into the trap you lose your freedom. I would tell you to be careful not to fall into a trap, because if you get trapped, you'll be very unhappy. When I say "trap," I mean it as a state of being.
Once in the trap, you can't do what you want to do. When you're trapped, you feel so sad that it hurts. Sometimes people are too afraid to get out of a trap, and so they suffer for the rest of their lives. I believe that there is no need to suffer that way.
In a particular year, I almost found myself in a trap, I wanted to do something but couldn't. Even though I wasn't happy, I was afraid to change my situation.
We all should be happy in life, and it's important not to be afraid to get out of a trap if we found ourselves in one. After all, if we could change things by just being a little braver, why wouldn't we?
So I'll challenge everyone to be brave and not fall into a trap.
Life itself can be a trap.
It’s when you make a choice out of fear that you lose your wisdom and end up making the wrong decision.
Be careful not to fall into a trap. A trap is a way you think and life becomes a ladder where every step gets harder to climb.
When you have no choice but to do something, it’s not a trap. It’s called living. It’s when you make a choice out of fear that you lose your wisdom and end up making the wrong decision.
So what’s the difference between being trapped or just living? It all has to do with the decision and actions that result from it.
The moral of this article is to stay in the present moment and make mindful decisions.
Useful Years on Earth
Ist of May 2022
When you are born, you do not know how to do anything. You cannot walk, talk or read. You need to be taught how to do all of these things. You need to be taught how to live your life. You need advice from people who have lived long enough to know how to live their life successfully.
Your useful years could be described as, "The time that you spend glorifying God on earth and making an impact for the kingdom, but how do you know how many years that is? " The best way to find out, is to check your heart. If you are struggling with the pain of life and wearing the scars of sin on your back, I believe it is time to get rid of the things that are weighing you down and letting you be light.
I believe that our useful years on earth should be compared to our bank account. The more spiritual funds we have stored up in heaven, the more of an impact we can make on the earth.
There once was an old man who had lived to be 80 years old. He worked hard his entire life and had been faithful to God. One day, he fell under the weight of age and was no longer able to care for himself. His children decided to put him in a home where he could receive around-the-clock care.
He was very lonely, however, and soon fell ill. In the midst of all of his sadness, one of his children visited him and inquired about his health. "You asked me how I was doing," he said. "But you're treating me like I'm already dead. So what is the point of my being here? Just for the money?"
When the man's children would come to visit, one would always bring a newspaper with them. They would bring a different newspaper each time. The old man noticed this and said to them, "I've been reading these papers for quite some time now, but I can't read very well anymore and I'd like to know what news is important enough for me to read from this day forward."
The daughter said, "Actually, I've been praying every day that you'll regain your eyesight so that you can read again." He then replied to her by saying that perhaps God will listen to her prayer because she had been praying every day without fail.
"If you want to live a long life of impact and useful deeds, keep your feet firmly planted on the ground, and never lose sight of who you are and where you came from. Avoid living in a dream world. Those who live in the past will never be happy.
"Remember, no matter how far you travel, you can never leave your body behind. You take them with you everywhere you go."
"Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world."
"Don't worry about failures, worry about the chances you miss when you don't even try."
"The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now."
"I don't want to achieve immortality through my work; I want to achieve it through not dying."
"What do we live for? We long to feel useful, to be needed, to matter."
"The best thing about the future is that it comes only one day at a time."
"Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present."
"It's not enough to have talent. You have to have a talent for your talent, whatever it is."
"The things that hurt, instruct."
"You can never cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore."
"Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned or worn. It is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, joy and gratitude.
"So, my dear friends, as you celebrate your Useful years on earth, begin by thinking about these things. Then you will be able to live a good life."
With advancements in science and technology we are living longer than ever before. But how do we live these longer lives? How can we maximize our usefulness years on earth in such a way that glorifies God?
So, as an average human being lives 77.5 years. What do we mean by 'useful years'? Your useful years are the years you spend glorifying God, rather than yourself. Rather than living for yourself, living for something bigger. For a higher purpose - because that's where and how you will find real joy in life.

True Friends sticks as Glue
April 29th, 2022.
A friend in need is a friend indeed. But many times we fail to understand this. We are naturally attracted to people with whom we share a common interest or personality, but that's not a reason that makes the bond stronger. True friends are the ones who sticks together through thick and thin. Sometimes, we let our ego get the best of us and we tend to forget what really matters: our friends.
So, here are some quotes about friendships that will remind you that true friends are the ones who sticks together through thick and thin.
A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.
A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.
A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself - and especially to feel.
A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart.
Friendship isn't a big thing - it's a million little things.
A strong friendship can last longer than an average one. When two people decide to stick together, the bond between them gets stronger and lasts longer because of it.
Friends stick together like glue, and here's how they do it.
True friends are able to stand the test of time, no matter what life throws at them.
They know how to make sacrifices for each other.
They always have each other's back, even at the most difficult times.
Not only do they provide a shoulder to cry on and encouragement when needed, but they also help you understand the situation better.
They know how to make one another laugh when the situation calls for it and they're not afraid to disagree with you. They won't be quiet if you're wrong, but they will still love you all the same.
True friends stick together as glue!
While you are surrounded by many, your best friend is the one who will be by your side as long as glue that sticks together as long as you live.
The Bible tells us how important true friends is and when two people decide to stick together, their bonds gets stronger and lasts longer. (Prov 17:17)
Some friendships have value and worth to you more than gold.
The bible tells us not to go just to someone house for a meal but be with them for life because there is more to friendship than just food.
It is better to have a real friend than wealth in piles.
One of the key ingredient for friendship is trust, and the glue that holds true friends together is trust.
When you have trust for your friend or partner, you are sure that you can give them the benefit of the doubt until they prove otherwise.
When two best friends says their good-byes, they know they will see each other again.
True friendship is also a great source of never ending happiness. When you have someone who understands you and you understand them, this brings to a feeling of belonging.
For better or worse, when two people decide to stick together no matter what, their friendship or bond gets stronger and will last longer. This is something we take into consideration when we are making decisions in our life. Our family, friends and businesses should be one of the most important aspects of our lives.
This is a reminder to all of us to have each other's back and be there for each other. In times of need, you never know when you will need a friend or family to help you through the situation or problem.
Many people would have run and given up when their trust broke, but true friends decided to stick together.
Trust sticks friend's together in many difficult situations. When the world seems too hard to handle, the love of a friend can make everything right again. You're never really alone when you have true friends. Your best friend is your partner in crime who will stand by you through thick and thin.
Who is your Friend?
Control Codes
April 27th, 2022
In the article, I'll be talking about the various control codes we have for both genders.
Women seem to have the family control code as a wife and mother.
In this position, they are responsible for the home, children, and all the things in the house.
How do they survive with all these responsibilities?
How does a wife control the family?
More than once I've heard a woman say, "I've got to be everything to everyone." This is one of the very sad realities of being a woman. Everyone expects her to do and be everything—the saint, the sinner, the casserole mama, the dishwasher queen. She's battered by constant demands from her kids, her husband, her parents and even pressure from her work.
My father works as a prominent church minister. My mother was a housewife/trader who worked in the home while my father went out of town every now and then.
She raised five children, did the cooking and cleaning, and somehow still found time to work on business as a trader. She became a great example of what a woman can do.
She taught me to believe in myself, even when no one else did. She showed me how a woman can own her space and make her own destiny by creating the future she wanted for herself. Her words described the blueprint for success. My mother was more than just an ordinary woman who eventually lived an extraordinary life; she was my superhero, my control code.
The women at home not only have the **family control code** as a wife and mother but also the **time control code** as a wife and mother.
Women have the family control code. They manage the house and family.
But, a man is not a woman. A man is different from a woman in the world.
A man has the **work control code**. He needs to control his work and manage his life. A man needs wisdom to manage his life and work.
A man should know how to control his mind, body, emotions and prosperity. Man needs wisdom nuggets to control his mind, body and emotions. To manage his life, career and wealth wisely.
The men in the family, who are mostly breadwinners, still have the **competitive control code** in their hearts which makes them more competitive with each other in the job market.
The men's competitive spirit also makes them want to be better than their colleagues or neighbours.
Men want to work harder at work and spend less time at home because they are too busy satisfying their competitive spirit.
Men also don't want to lose face if they give up their control codes because they want to make their families proud of them.
Women try their best to satisfy their husbands by keeping the life of their families peaceful and harmonious, so they can take over the family control code when everyone returns home from work or school - this gives the men a sense of security when they walk into their homes after working hard all day.
Today, most women are leaders. The world has seen women as leaders in government, business, education and on the global stage. Women have advanced in their careers and championed change in their communities. This is wonderful because the world benefits from female leadership. With great power comes great responsibility and women have embraced this responsibility.
One of the most important aspects of women's leadership is raising children. Women are raising children and nurturing them with values and expectations that will help them become successful adults.
One of the most important responsibilities as a primary caregiver is to teach self-control; children must learn self-control to be successful learners and balanced adults. Self-control involves being able to delay gratification, focus on a task and the ability to follow rules.
Both the man and woman are not to be done without in a home. Their importance can not be overlooked for any reason. They both have the ability to control their world.
Go to the Ants.
April 26th, 2022.
`Bible Proverb`
`Go to the ant thou sluggard and consider her ways, and be wise.`
`Proverbs 6:6`
What is the most successful colony in the world? **Ants.**
According to scientific reports, ants do not steal, cheat, lie, murder, or aimlessly meander in their work.
What are they doing right?
How can we copy them? Good questions.
Here's how:
Ants are very social creatures with a high sense of purpose and community. They work hard and they play hard. They follow a handful of simple rules based on progress and productivity. And they perfected the art of delegation a long time ago.
There is no need to reinvent the wheel here. The ant is always working, always productive and always building. So let us go to the ant and learn from her ways
She lies in wait in the summer's heat and prepares in winter food, store in summer for winter, that thine may eat, and the household may be full of blessing.
The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their food in the summer and gather their meats in the harvest.
Ants have no leader nor ruler, yet they all work together with a common purpose and a common goal.
Ants have no strong defence, yet they are safe from enemies.
The ant is a busy little creature, isn't she? She never seems to sit still and there's always plenty of work to do. Ants have many different jobs: They build the home, manufacture food, clean, raise the young and protect the colony.
The Bible proverb above says, "Go to the ant ye sluggard; consider her ways and be wise."
What wisdom can we gain by observing a little insect with a modest (some say tiny) brain?
Ants have mastered group effort. They share food and tasks. If a worker discovers a profitable food source, she communicates it to the whole colony by laying down a scent trail.
Her antennae are more sensitive than human fingertips, allowing her to feel what humans can't and find what humans can't see.
She's loyal to her queen and will sacrifice herself for her friends.
She plans for tomorrow and has learned how to endure famine.
She works hard to care for the needs of many yet does not worry about tomorrow.
She layeth up her meat in the summer: she wrought diligently and provideth for her life in the winter.
She laboreth abundantly and bringeth forth much fruit: she hath need of nothing and she is unprofitable unto all.
Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
She is little among the numbers of those who have **an** understanding: but she is exceeding wise.
Ants make excellent teachers for us humans. We'd be wise to heed their example in our own lives.
Go to the ant thou sluggard and consider her ways, and be wise; which having no guide, overseer or ruler, provideth her meat in the summer and gathereth her food in the harvest.
The ant is one of the toughest insects on the planet and has been inspiring humans for centuries. Here are some of the reasons why:
She is self-reliant. She doesn't need a guide, overseer or ruler to tell her what to do. She simply figures it out herself.
She doesn't overthink things. Rather than worry if she's doing something right, she just does it. She trusts her ability and knows she is capable of building something amazing.
**How long will you lie there, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest and poverty will come upon you like a robber and want like an armed man.**
