What does this vacation entail? She looks at her two companions who decided to take a nap. With one full week to spend in the small island of Santorini and plans already booked and plotted, she cannot blame them . They really have all the time. They somehow fell asleep while Pichi was going on and on rambling about how beautiful the sight is outside their place they are staying in. She was pretty amped and excited. She took this time to explore on her own. At least, it will be a little ocular for where they can get good shots in the next days. She can also have that me-time and being able to take everything in all on her own schedule. After fixing herself, she screamed at the two sleepyheads, "I'm going out!" To which both said sleepily, "Yes, please go away!" Pichi28 went out of their hotel and on to the street. Because the hotel is situated near the cliff of the caldera, it has a perfect view right when Pichi28 stepped out. It was also located near the pathway that traverses the side of the cliff leading to Oia. Pichi took everything in. Taking her time to move one spot to another and clicking her way. Squeezing her way in between tourists as well to get a good shot.

She took a lot of pictures. She was fascinated that from this cliff you can see a portion of other accommodations. They all have this area of open view to the Aegean waters.

There were lots of tourists then. And they pretty much occupied the spot where they would have a good view of the sunset. Pichi28 would have wanted to seat on one but the cafe she saw was just really full.

She then decided get off the pathway and try to look into the small side streets and alleys. To get a little view of the less crowded spot of Fira. She was admiring everything in and she was too engrossed with what she is seeing and taking pictures of every shop, street activity she sees as interesting. "Hi." A male voice coming from behind her suddenly said. Still feeling the excitement, and the wonderful vibe of Fira, she turned around to see where the voice was and then she was facing a camera lens. Sponsor block break! Before we go on.. Check these people out! Click! The man with the camera just took her photo. The guy looked at his shot and then to Pichi28. "*Oraíos*!" he said and showed Pichi28 her picture. "Excuse me?" Pichi asked as she looked at the preview of the shot. *Not bad.* She actually looked decent with the candid shot. "I meant *lovely.* " he explained. Pichi looked back at the guy supposedly to thank him but the words just got caught in her throat and she was not able to speak. Their eyes met for a while. She felt trapped in his blue? Green? Hazel? She was just captured with the color of his eyes, and his smile. "Was that Greek?" Diverting her eyes and composing herself, she asked and looked at the camera again to hide her face that is now slowly blushing. "Ah, yes!" "Oh? Tourist learning Greek?" "Oh, no. I am from here." "Really? Do you always shoot strangers?" She looked at him because he did not respond immediately. She caught the confusion in his facial expression which she finds even more attractive. "I meant do you take pictures of strangers?" she explained gesturing towards his camera which she accidentally pushes off his hands. Realizing what she did, and with reflex both of them tried to catch the camera. The guy was able to catch the camera just in time as well that Pichi's head hit the bridge of his nose. "Ow!" They both exclaimed. And they started laughing. She apologized. He said her apology is accepted but she needs to say yes to spending afternoon coffee with him while he was squeezing the bridge of his nose and shaking his head. "To get over the stranger" part he said, he introduced himself as Aristaeus and he extended a hand palms up. Pichi introduced herself extending her hand for a shake hands but Aristaeus took her hand and kissed it slowly. That surprised Pichi and made her blush. "Pleased and happy to meet you. Finally." *Finally?* Did she hear him, right? But she was a bit afraid to ask what it meant. "So coffee?" He asked again. Not letting go of her hand and not breaking eye contact either. The guy seemed nice. She thought a company of a local is not bad. He did catch her attention and would like to explore her own developing attraction towards the guy. He did add more to the fluttering butterflies in her tummy why not give it a chance, right? She also remembered pinky swearing with Eylz and Bloghound to "say yes" to any seemingly decent guy who would ask her on a date during their trip -if there would be a chance. It has been a while since her last real relationship and she might finally need to loosen up a bit and have fun. Who knows where that would lead to, right? She looked at him toying with the idea of turning him down first but she cannot will herself to say no to his amused, inquisitive, teasing eyes. "Fine." She said. She quickly then sent a message to the two back in their hotel room informing her of her sort of coffee date so they will know where she is. During their talk, Aristaeus cleared up some things to Pichi like "Oia" pronounced as "Ee-yah" as opposed to what tourists initially say "o-yah". Before leaving the coffee nook that they went to, they exchanged numbers. Pichi does not know but there is something about the place, and this guy that fits so right. The conversation was smooth and comfortable. She liked it that he does show interest in whatever she is saying and he is holding eye contact. She has his full attention. He even got to walk her to their hotel holding her hand. She was not able to introduce Aristaeus to her two companions until their wine tour. Aristaeus was able to get along pretty well with the two other girls. Pichi was amused and even more elated. And so far her two friends did not have any complaints about the guy. He fits the mold. Fulfilling the original plan of the three friends and then clocking in time alone with each other as much as possible. Then the day came for goodbye. Pichi knows they promised to keep in touch. But for how long can she hold her end banking on a one-week whirlwind romance?
