This article is a preview of noise.app. The new platform was soft-launched recently but is not ready yet for a mass influx of users as some more testing and bug-fixing is required, with a few more features added as we speak.
A Peek at the New Platform: noise.app!
Noise.app introduces us to a modern platform with a user-friendly interface and an exceptional concept that aims to promote value in discussions and reduce unnecessary/unwanted interactions.
noise.app: What You Need To Know:
1) The Interface:
With the previous examples of read.cash and noise.cash expectations are high, but noise.app delivers at a satisfying rate. The platform is slick and easy to adapt with a user-friendly approach.
2) Restriction of Spam
Only those we follow can comment.
Social media today allows any user we don't follow to spam and troll with comments that nobody would take seriously or waste time to read, respond or react to.
Yet spam is a time-consuming burden, constantly reducing the user experience. Platform users desire to avoid such interactions and discover valuable information and news without diversions.
With noise.cash, there was a constant battle against bots, spam, low-quality content, and fake engagements.
Spammers were allowed to comment on any post, and users had to define if what they read was spam or contained any practical knowledge.
Certainly noise.cash attracted 300,000 users, but the spam was constantly reducing the quality of discussions.
3) Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Monetization Will Apply But Not Immediately
Noise.app aims to accommodate and promote quality discussions and design a platform where people will enjoy their time. There will be monetization with Bitcoin Cash tips added, but not immediately. The purpose here differs from massively attracting users who only wanted to earn money online with minimum effort.
Noise.app has different goals. The issue of spam is massive in social media, so limiting spam and bots by not allowing such conditions in the first place is the first objective noise.app will attempt to fulfill.
When tips apply, the structure will be different from noise.cash. The financial incentive should generate better content instead of low-effort spam.
4) Users registrations by invitation only
Registration will only be available via invite-links.
Invitations are private, but this shouldn't be considered a privilege at this stage.
The platform was soft-launched and currently planning to grow slowly before the official announcement in the coming days and weeks so invites are limited.
Users can create a read-only account and wait for an invite when the platform is ready and used appropriately.
5) The platform still lacks a few features that will be added soon.
The platform will include more features with the official release. This is an early version of noise.app containing the basic options as devs improve the code and fix bugs.
6) Quality over Quantity
Noise.app will contain fundamental differences from its predecessor.
As an account on noise.cash was growing in followers, and users had to deal with annoying spam. While perhaps greed made some people act this way on noise.cash, the same issue appears in every other social media without monetization available.
With noise.app posts will be available for anyone to view, like, and follow the original poster (OP), but commenting will only be open unless the OP also follows the other user.
We will have the option to follow people we want. If they are also interested in what we have to say, they will follow us back, and only then we can comment on their posts.
7) Mobile App In The Next Few Weeks!
A mobile app for Android and iOS are at the latest stages of development.
The Android mobile app might be ready as soon as next week!
On iOS, the app will be released a few weeks later.
Noise.app: The Next Big Thing In Social Media
Noise.app is the evolution of noise.cash.
The devs will soon ask noisers to slowly migrate to the new platform since the focus will transition to noise.app.
A new and better experience awaits hundreds of thousands of noisers in a smooth platform with a user-friendly interface.
An invite-only for the time being, but with a sense of respect to the platform.
Nobody has to deal with random burner accounts forcing the OP to read their messages. With noise.app, if you don't follow these guys, they can't spam, troll, or comment.
Internet spam and bots are rising and prevailing in social media comments and discussions.
Twitter, for example, is infested by spam, advertising bots, and troll farms.
Most of the comments we receive on any social media platform are not organic, published by people we never interacted with before.
