One Year With Read.Cash!
Already one year with read.cash!
It seems like it was yesterday when I joined. The market was under different circumstances, with a hyper bullish sentiment and crypto on the mainstream again.
On March 03, 2021, I introduced myself on read.cash as a cryptocurrency enthusiast.
I never expected to reach 1,000 followers or receive this many rewards. The tips helped significantly during lockdowns and challenging economic conditions, and while I was selling most of my overvalued coins within 2021, I decided to accumulate some BCH and find ways to use this currency as P2P Electronic Cash.
Read.cash, noise.cash, and the Bitcoin Cash community is dynamically shaping a better future away from the confinements of the legacy financial system. The real Bitcoin community scaled Bitcoin unwilling to proceed with the Blockstream demands.
There is so much I want to write, but I will try not to make this too long. This article is about read.cash, Marc De Mesel, Simon, Bitcoin Cash, and all of you, the awesome readers and writers.
Read.cash Helped Me In Multiple ways
This one is probably the most difficult article I have ever written. I edited, reworded, and deleted about 90% of the content.
I was about to summarize my cryptocurrency experience or recoup my adventure with this platform, but I will leave it for another time, as I feel it wasn't as important as what I will write next.
Read.cash is now part of my crypto experience that will soon reach five years.
And now it is one year that I publish under the alias Pantera on this platform. This is how read.cash helped me since March 3, 2021:
Read.Cash Helped Me Mentally And Financially
Read.cash helped me avoid thinking all real-life troubles and gave me focus. Read.cash presented a mental escape from personal problems that demanded too much time (years) to be solved and were not under my control.
Some of these problems were affecting me emotionally and financially, and I still have to deal with a few left, but I think it will all be over soon. The lockdowns and the halt of all activities made these problems a burden but crypto, in general, helped me survive the difficulties.
Read.cash offered an opportunity to focus on producing quality articles.
Read.cash Helped Me Survive The Lockdowns
Read.cash supported me during the lockdowns providing a meaningful and productive way to spend my time. It helped me avoid the Covid mass panic, and while some probably were watching movies all day when locked at home, I decided it would be better to create something during this idle time.
It profited me too since the rewards had been extraordinary and unexpected. Between March and June 2021, I sold some of my BCH for many reasons. First of all, I had the feeling the market will crash, and secondly, I required cash (fiat) for some of the situations I had to face. Some of the tips by Marc, gave me a way out of difficult conditions in real life.
I Found New Friends in read.cash
We share the same goals, and I've found plenty of new friends with a passion for writing.
I've met many great writers throughout this year. More importantly, I met people, I can count on and trust at least at certain limits the internet sets.
Building this trust is not easy as the internet contains dangers, and vigilance is of utmost importance, especially in the cryptocurrency field.
Some of these friends are not active lately, perhaps dealing with real-life issues and having less time for writing. I hope they will be back, and they should know the read.cash family will welcome them again.
Read.cash Legends: Marc De Mesel & Simon
I want to thank @MarcDeMesel for his constant support and also of course, Simon (@Read.Cash) for the inception and development of read.cash, and noise.cash (tipb.ch as well).
Marc, you are a natural leader with top interpersonal skills and an exceptional approach when dealing with difficult situations.
It took me time to understand your approach, but I eventually realized why you accomplished so much.
You have an intelligent approach to attracting individuals and promoting Bitcoin Cash. You make everyone feel welcome and part of our community.
The financial aspect always applies (especially with popular crypto-influencers), but you go beyond that.
You select the good guys from the crypto field and create friendships and bonds. It is not just about the money. You have the charisma to rally people around you, inspiring devotion.
Support is rare to find when we face difficulties, and while Kenya is a bit far to visit, there were plenty within the Bitcoin Cash community and read.cash folks, deeply concerned about the events that occurred. Some contacted you directly and informed the rest right from the first day of the difficulties you've encountered.
I admired you for the investment aspect, and the more I watched your streams, I discovered a leader, having weaknesses like everyone else, but always opening up and explaining his life perspective. This fact made me admire you even more.
You supported us, and you have friends in Bitcoin Cash you can count on.
The Read.Cash and Noise.cash community
I also have to thank the people that make read.cash this wonderful place. I wasn't looking for friends online, but you all seem to have been a friend to me, one way or another. We had at least some good times or interactions, we exchanged ideas, and I hope I also helped or added something beneficial.
Special thanks to Club1BCH that lately accepted me into its ranks. I don't use telegram or discord too often, but I will try to be part of the community more, and although I am not into Pexagy right now, I will try to participate in every club event from now on.
I wanted to tag many names, and you understand I am following back almost everyone and reading your content as often as time allows, but I also feel I will forget many users if I start tagging, so I don't want to make anyone feel neglected.
You know I follow and read content as you are also reading mine, it is our interactions in our articles and our comments that make this community great.
In read.cash, as I always explain we are all equal. As some readers find positive elements in my work I discover the same in every writer I follow. What matters most is to be ourselves and write our experiences, unique thoughts, and our perception of events.
We share goals and share our experiences. We are in crypto, and while some sell everything they earn for fiat, I suggest if there is no immediate need, keep the rewards and try to find ways to help Bitcoin Cash reach adoption where you live. BCH seems it is in consolidation for many months, but a breakout to the upside could happen any time.
To those that believe cryptocurrencies hold value and have a bright future, we are all going to make it. It is a long process but the rewards will be there.
The Bitcoin Cash Community
I feel bad for tagging community members, and it will not happen again. I felt that just for this one time it is appropriate though.
I thought of deleting the tags and making this a general expression of gratitude, however, I feel obliged to thank all those I mention here as each one has helped me in multiple ways, by supporting me on read.cash, or by replying to my questions and listening to my concerns, or other ways.
The Bitcoin Cash community contains individuals that carry on the Bitcoin vision. I started studying Bitcoin in 2017 and only found a P2P Electronic Cash system in Bitcoin Cash. I love crypto, and Bitcoin Cash is one of my top selections after years of research in the field.
I have to give special thanks to @btcfork for his support right from the beginning, his valuable knowledge, and his outstanding support of Bitcoin Cash. I also express sincere gratitude to a few more wonderful personalities I've met during this time: @emergent_reasons, @quest, @majamalu, @molecular, @maplesyrupsucker, the great BCH folks I've met at read.cash, Reddit, noise.cash, and Twitter: @Telesfor , @ErdoganTalk , @MobTwo , David Shares, @Omar , @underwar , Becashy, @BitcoinCashPodcast, the marketers of Bitcoin Cash: @SatoshisAngels , @CindyWang, @BCH101, @SofiaCBCH, @BCHouseVE, all the guys from @BitcoinCashArgentina, @ShadowOfHarbringer who was doing a great job at Reddit, @RogerVer, the Bitcoin Jesus, one of the first Bitcoin advocates, and everyone else from the wider Bitcoin Cash community working towards a common goal and offering their time and energy for Bitcoin Cash and smartBCH.
All these LEADERS convinced me BCH has a brilliant future and I also decided to help with a meaningful approach.
I'm certain, I forgot to mention many more and feel bad about it, however, I wanted to personally thank all those that supported my work at read.cash and gave me the boost I needed to keep pushing and create better content.
I really hope I haven't disappointed anyone and pledge commitment to getting better.
Most of the aforementioned are Bitcoin legends, early into Bitcoin as miners, developers, cryptographers, adopters of this technology. Perhaps some of them were also teaching me Bitcoin five years ago while I was making my first steps in the Bitcoin forum. Some are early Bitcoin adopters even from 2010 when just a handful of people were mining, working, and developing Bitcoin together with Satoshi.
In Conclusion
As everyone in the Bitcoin (Cash) community, I also realized from my first steps in crypto that Bitcoin is P2P Electronic Cash, competing in commerce with the mainstream Visa/Mastercard networks.
Even when our political and religious beliefs or preferences don't align, there is a higher purpose, and the consensus stands that Bitcoin is Cash, for online or physical payments.
Bitcoin Cash will expand and reach global adoption as a Means of Exchange. The edge Bitcoin Cash has today, together with the smartBCH sidechain development, will become a clear advantage in the coming years, especially with the upcoming expansion of the Metaverse that will demand instant and feeless transactions, smart contract capabilities, and Web3 compatibility.
Read.cash and noise.cash did a lot to create a positive sentiment towards Bitcoin Cash, covering some of the lost ground from previous years.
I will not stop advertising these two platforms and already had positive results from this promotional activity at Medium and Hive, onboarding new writers and new BCH users.
Thank you all for this wonderful first year in read.cash!
