Significance of Fingers Hello again readers! How blessed we are today that God extends our lives with a new day. A day that allows us to experience His goodness and unconditional love through the nature He has given to us and even the priceless gifts He shared to us like air, water and even the energy from the sun. We should be thankful and grateful that despite of being sinful, He still loves us. Thus, we don't have reasons not to love Him back. For today's article, I am particular to one of the parts of our body. May be we are wondering why God created us with two eyes but with only one mouth. We have two ears but with only one mind. We do have also two hands but with one and only one heart ❤️. Now, we'll be going to my topic deeply. Try to look at your hands or even with your right hand only. Do you know why we have five fingers in each hand? May be you knew their names. We have thumb finger, point or index finger, middle finger, ring finger, and what's the last one? I forgot it. Yah it's pinky finger. But do we know their significance? What is the meaning of each finger? For me, each finger represents people's life, status, or position. Maybe you have searched the significance of each five fingers or its symbolic meaning. But we could feel unsatisfied to the information given. Here is my version how I give the meaning of each five fingers. Each finger is represented by people's classification or status. The pinky finger Among the five fingers, this is the shortest and yet little finger known as pinky finger. It is where a signet or finger ring is worn. In people classification, these are the weak, helpless, and innocent people who are easily overlooked in the society. They have less voice to express their feelings and emotions. Romantically, these are young people who take time for entering into serious life. The ring finger This is the finger next to pinky finger. This finger is for commitment. Traditionally, this is where a wedding ring is worn. Having this, it tells to everyone that he or she is not available anymore. This is represented by strong and matured people who are fully grown and developed. They are ready to get into serious relationships. And besides, these people have commitments, duties and responsibilities to perform. The middle finger This finger is found at the center. This is also the tallest or longest finger of the five fingers which plays the central function. In the society, these are the group of people who are known to all. Famous people like politicians, artists, vloggers, businessmen, lords and kings. Among the five, this is the highest finger. In this classification of people, most of them possess bad traits such as pride, self-centered and overconfident. The index finger The fourth finger is the index finger. This finger is for authority. Same as middle finger, they have also the right or authority to lead people. Using the point finger,they are the one who gave commands and instructions in a certain group or organization. Like parents as first educators, they raised their children to become good Christian and citizen. They teach them values and good character that include different virtues of life. Likewise, in school the teachers performed as second parents to the learners. They didn't only teach them different intelligences from various learning subjects but they also teach values. Because true education will not be acquired without inculcation of proper behaviour. The thumb finger This finger is short and thick next to point finger. This is the part of our hand where baby wants most likely to suck. According to vocabulary.com, it helps us to grip objects with care and precision. We can't hold properly the chopstick without our thumb finger. Looking at our fingers again, thumb finger is really different to other fingers. It is short and yet it has important role for them. For me, it is represented with the almighty Father, our God redeemer. He is a great designer who created our body with respective functions. For without Him, we do really nothing. Whatever our positions and status here on earth, whether you are famous or not, rich or poor, it's a reality that we will die. We will go back to God's hands with empty-handed. It matters the goodness you have done that we can enter into his kingdom. Try to close our hands, the thumb finger separates. It has only one meaning. If all will die, in the eyes of God, we are all equal. Closing Thoughts: Like those of our fingers we humans are also varying in terms of a lot of things. We differ in pace, we progress differently and in different ways. We achieve things and goals is different time. Given that we are in the same footing does not assure the reach the finish line at the same time. Thanks for your great time. Happy Thursday everyone. Keep safe. Note: Images Source: Unsplash.com

For whom is Marriage? Hello Read.cash learners! Are you married? Or still planning of getting married? Or getting married with a man or woman and live happily together? Do you believe in ideal man or woman? What is your viewpoint about marriage? Why are some people never want to get married? What are the fundamental spices of the marriage recipe? Today, I will explain in this article the real meaning of marriage from a bible verse. In Genesis 2:24, "THIS IS WHY A MAN LEAVES HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BECOMES ATTACHED TO HIS WIFE, AND THEY BECOME ONE FLESH" A Man... Marriage is for a man who is matured enough to do his responsibility as a father. A man who could be able to keep long-term commitments. A man who possesses a spirit of humility. A man who prioritizes others before himself. A man who is fully matured. A matured man who can stand alone on his own feet. A matured man who knows what he desires for life. Leaves... A man who leaves his parents and will become a father. A father who is willing to sacrifice for his family. A father who has capability to protect his family from any danger. A father who provides both materials and spiritual needs. A father who is disciplinarian. Lastly, a father who can maintain a healthy marriage. In contrary, good father will not abandon his family. He will not escape his responsibility. His father and mother... A father and a mother who are the great models of complete family. A father and a mother who can guide their children. A father and a mother who can positively involve during the growth of their children. Both parents who have time for their children to play, to train, to teach, the talk and to guide. Thus, making their children fully matured as they are. And becomes attached... A man becomes attached to a woman to build a new family. A family is where education starts. A family that builds love and affection. A family that creates culture and identity. A family that hones upright values and character. A family that prays together. And lastly, a family with God. To his wife... A man becomes attached to his wife. A wife who is beautiful in heart and soul. A wife who respects husband's decision. A wife who can turn a home into little heaven on earth. A wife who is expected to serve her husband, to prepare food for the family and to take care of her children. And they become... "And they become" is a process of learning, friendship and trust. They are willing to learn the crucial aspects of parenting. They're willing to accept and embrace each other's loopholes without a second thought. They're willing to forgive in times of failures. Lastly, they are willing to face together whatever awaits ahead in sickness and in health, for better or worst, till death do them part. One flesh. Two people are united and become one flesh. One flesh that cannot be divided into pieces. One flesh that cannot be separated by man. One flesh that might be fertile and multiply. One flesh that has one faith, one dream, one goal, and one God. _____________________________ Writer's Note Marriage is not for all. But it is God's gift. There's no such a perfect marriage nor perfect couple. However, marriage can be successful if both the couple build trust and honesty. They also learn to forgive one another as part of marriage growth. Marriage is a sacred union in which the couple enter into the covenant. Their love is sealed and strengthened by God's Love. Temptation is Real Yesterday, the first Sunday of the Lenten Season, the gospel is talking about the temptation of JesusChrist. He was tempted by the devil in all forms but the Holy Siprit was with Him. Though He was weak at that time because He fasted for forty days and forty nights, Satan failed to test Him. How about us? When was the last time you have been tempted by your neighbor that you can't hold your temper against them? How do you resist temptation? According to the song, Tukso layuan mo ako..., Do you think temptation will go away if you don't have enough weapon to fight it? I think, NO. To resist temptation, what we need is to go against it kasi ayon naman sa kanta na "Labanan natin Ang tukso". That is the best thing to do just to combat it through prayer 🙏🙏🙏. Temptations are everywhere. In this slippery world that we are living, lots of temptations will try to destroy us. Satan does not want us to be closer to God. He even tempted us in many ways. He used people to be the instrument of his ways in tempting humans. Here are the three temptations on earth: 1. Temptation of Food In science, we are comprised of two parts; the body and the soul. Our body needs food to sustain us in our daily works. On the other hand, our soul needs the words of God. But eating too much is not good at all. It can cause high blood, diabetes, and other illnesses. Even doctors don't allow us to eat those prohibited foods because of the health issues, we forgot their instructions especially if we are in a celebration that the foods offered to us are free. (libre na gud ni...LOL). Jesus said, "human beings cannot live on bread alone"(Mat. 4:4). He emphasized the importance of our soul. Soul cannot be seen by our eyes and this will be judged by God when we die according to what we've done on earth, bad or good. 2. Temptation of Power and Wealth In our country, the election is fast approaching. In different media, candidates are campaigning everywhere, promising a lot and fighting in a debate. Supporters spend time and efforts for the win of their candidates. Exchange of views and perceptions lead to conflict and hatred. After the term of a certain candidate, he passes the candidacy to his wife or sons or daughter. That is the temptation of the power. They never give other people a chance to lead for they think they are more deserving than them. In other cases, as the time of election is coming near, killings are possible to happen like what happened for many decades. Because of greediness, they forgot that we live on the same country. Because of selfishness of the position, they controlled people. They even kill. We can't also deny the fact that in our society, many people are quarreling because of anger and hatred that would result to exchange of vengeance. Many complaints were filed to the court due to greediness of wealth like land property, jewelries, houses, and many more to mention. People are too busy in their jobs, businesses and other worldly things that might separate us from God. Don't forget, we will die empty-handed. We owned lot of things but our souls are poor in spirit. Life is really so short. If you become rich, it's not bad at all. Even if you have owned many things through your efforts, there's nothing wrong with that. What makes us wrong if those materials will be our hindrances to worship God. Jesus said, "Worship the Lord your God and serve only Him" (Mat. 4:8). We cannot serve two masters at a time. To love God is to serve others. 3. Temptation of Authority Power and authority are quite the same. Whatever our positions in this world whether we belong to highest positions or lower than that or an ordinary people only, in the eyes of God we're all equal. Most people who are in the authority or in the positions most of the cases are abusing their power. Look at what happened to Russia and Ukraine. Russia is known as one of the strongest countries in the world and yet it is aiming to be the most powerful country world wide in terms of arm forces, weapons and authorities. Jesus said, "Do not put the Lord your God to the test" (Mat. 4:12). God is the supreme ruler of the world. He is a King of all kings and Lord of all lords. ____________________________ Final Thoughts: To resist temptation, we need to pray, pray and pray. It doesn't mean that we will pray only in times of trials. Pray unceasingly. God's word is the real food for our soul. It nourishes our spiritual growth. Thank you for your time. Stop, Look & Listen Last March 2, 2022 Wednesday, I and my wife went to the church to attend a Holy Mass as to witness the opening of the Lenten season through signing a cross on the forehead that is known as Ash Wednesday. It is a Catholic Christian holy day of prayer and fasting. It is initiated by the priest and extra-ordinary Eucharistic Lay Minister having said, "Repent and believe the gospel." Stop, Look, & Listen. Why are we supposed to do that? We've encountered these words probably in the street when we cross the line particularly in the high way. Many vehicles are passing by, beeping its horn for us to stop, then look sideways from left to right before crossing the line and listen the sound of noise to avoid unexpected circumstances. In dangerous area, we need also to stop, look around and listen the precautions. Stop, Look, & Listen. How significant are these in our lives? As a christian, these three words are very important in this season to be meaningful in commemorating the paschal mystery of our Lord JesusChrist. In this season, we are challenged to pray deeply, fast of earthly things, abstinence, and almsgiving. Prayer Stop, look and listen. We are supposed to pause for a while. Being temporarily stopped, it's the time to pray, meditate, and reflect. Check ourselves how far or close we are to God. Because the more we attach to earthly things, the less we desire on heaven. In contrary, the more we desire on heaven, the less we attach to worldly things. Prayer is the only best way that we are always connected with God. Stop for a while, look around you if someone left behind and listen to God's message in His house. Fasting Stop, look and listen. The purpose of fasting is mainly to discipline us. Refrain from eating favorite foods that are unhealthy. Refrain from drinking hard liquor that ruins our bodies which are the temples of Spirit. Avoid getting into the lives of others. Stop for a while and check your health status, look and help the needy and listen to what others say. Abstinence Stop, look and lisen. The law of abstinence is to forbid eating meat, but eggs and milk products may be eaten. During Lenten season, we are not supposed to eat any meat on Ash Wednesday and on all Fridays. We do this as a form of penance. Almsgiving **Stop, look and listen. Action speaks louder than words. In this season, we are also challenged to visit the sick, prisoners and the oppressed people. This is also the time to give alms to the last, lost and least people in our community.** _____________________________ Final Thoughts These four; prayer, fasting, abstinence and almsgiving are the best practices of all Catholic Christians during this Lenten season. This season reminds us the amazing work of God on how Jesus saved us from being sinfulness. He came on Earth to reconnect our relation closely to His father. Thanks for reading my article up to here. I Almost Lost My PhP 10,000 Hello Readers! Welcome to Castiel-han account! Last night, as I read DennMarc's article entitled "How I recover my Lost Money/Missing Transaction in Bitcoin.wallet" he gave me an idea of what next article to publish for my fifth article. I strongly believed that I can easily write it since I have also experienced like what has happened to him. This article that I wrote is what happened last 2nd day of this month, 2022, Tuesday at 9:45 a.m to be exact. I sent money amounting ten thousand pesos (10,000.00) to Paynamics Technologies, Inc, a Payment Service Provider and Software Development company based in Manila, Philippines that offers different electronic payment products such as check processing, debit card or credit card processing, bank transfer, ewallets and vouchers. The transaction was successfully deposited to my tonik account. What is Tonik? It is the Phippines' first neobank with a digital bank license. Using that Tonik account, I transfered the said amount to coach Connie's BDO account for an exchange of load wallet. But the transaction failed. I attempted transferring the money to her account three times. But then again, same as the first. Only to find out that the system was under maintenance repair. It gave me a suggestion to do the transaction through a pesonet. Meanwhile, I went to the terminal where the pesonet machine is located. Because I am not used to operate the machine but that was not my first time using it, I failed to insert the coin. I dropped the five peso coin mistakenly. So, I inserted again another coin. Fortunately, I was able to connect the internet. I immediately opened my Tonik account and logged in. I sent again the 10,000 pesos to Coach Connie's BDO account. But in the selection list, I could not found BDO Union bank but only BDO net bank. I clicked BDO net bank for thinking that they were the same. I expected that the money was transfered successfully. Then, I chatted coach Connie even she was offline at that time informing her that I was sending 10,000 to her account. While waiting her response, I went back to school. I opened my phone again assuming that she received my message. There, I read her replied. She said that nothing has been transfered to her account even a single centavo. She showed to me her cellphone. I was worried about thinking that my money was gone. She told me to double check if I really sent the money. I asked her if BDO union bank and BDO net bank are the same. She replied me that in BDO union bank I should deposit or transfer the money. She never said that the two names are one. But I was pretty sure that I deposited it in BDO bank net which is different to BDO Union Bank. Then, she advised me to ask some help to the Tonik company. I checked first in my account if what was really going on. I went to the history of my transaction. It was still processing for how many hours. I tried to ask some technical assistance from Tonik's agent. It was good that he intertained me well. He asked some questions regarding to my account for confidentiality. He asked me the last four digits of my registered number to that Tonik's account, my birthdate and the date of the last transaction I made. Then, we have our conversation. To make our Convo short, he told me to wait until 4pm since it is still processing. What was in my mind, that's why it is so because the name whom I sent the amount will not be found by the system. While waiting the time to come, I was not doing well on my job since I was bothered if the money will be gone. I unnoticed that it was late 4:00 pm already. I tried to check again my account. I sadly found it that it was still in four digits including the centavos part. What I did, I contacted again the Tonik's agent. Another person entertained me. So we went back to the same procedures. He asked me again the last four digits of my phone number and the last transaction I made. He responded me immediately. And he said that the status of my transaction was still the same. He added that I should have to wait for 2 to 3 banking days. I was worried at that time since many load retailers were waiting for my responses. Others chatted me if I have already a load. Then I replied to them that there was something wrong happened. But still I was hoping that everything will be fine. I went back to my account before going home. Happily, it was there! My money went back to my account. I repeatedly did the transaction to make the bank transfer of funds. Then, finally I received the load worth of 10,100.00 pesos. _____________________________ Conclusion In life, we cannot avoid this kind of problem. Sometimes our day is filled with worries, fears and doubts. It is really beyond of our control. Let's be calm and relaxed. Don't let our fear controls us. Let not our doubts reign in us. And do not let our worries get us stacked. _________**____________________** Thank you for your time. Your comments are highly appreciated.

Is Anger a Sin? Have you experienced being hurt so much? Has there been a situation wherein you found difficult to reconcile with someone? How did you control your emotions if somebody tries to damage your dignity? What will you do if someone repeatedly ruins your life and even destroy your reputation and integrity to other people? Few months before our wedding, we prepared all documents to be submitted to the municipal's registrar and to the church as early as possible. We went to Philippines Statistics Authority or PSA at Tacloban City to get the Certificate of No Marriage. We've gone to Baybay Parish for the confirmation rites of my ex-girlfriend. We together prepared all these things for our wedding. We've also attended many seminars like Pre-cana seminar and family orientation that includes natural birth control. It seemed like everything was okay and fine. What we were waiting for was to be called during the mass three successive sundays. We also waited for the interview of our parish priest. Not only two times we went to the convent for an interview but we failed because of some reasons. The day was getting closer to our wedding date. I was little bit nervous at that time and got mad because every time I attended the mass, not our names were called but the other couple who filed the schedule before us. It came in my mind and I could feel that our parish priest don't want us to find or get other priest who will preside the weeding. I was disappointed at that time why it happened to me and I was serving in the church for how many years. I was humbly waiting to be called. In God's Grace, two Sundays before our wedding, finally our names were called. But until now, many questions left in my mind that need to be clarified. I don't want to get anger with him for I have respect to all the priests. Anger is a normal feeling or emotion that could be felt with anybody. However, we must know how to hold our temper or control our emotion before it controls us. It ruins our personality if we will be eaten by anger or hatred. What the bible says about anger? Is it a sin or not? 1. But You, o Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness (Psalm 86:15) Even God himself who is the source of mercy and grace, He is slow to anger. How much more us. We ask God that He will give us more patience in dealing trouble and handling conflict. 2. Who is slow to anger has great understanding but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly (Proverbs 14:29) If we received gossip, don't be bothered. (Ang taong naniniwala sa mga sabi sabi ay walang bait sa sarili). Sometimes, we will be destructed by the people around us. But we should also see the other side of a coin. I mean, let's make things clear by having opened heart. We don't easily react to avoid harsh words against them. 3. A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger (Proverbs 15:1) The way we respond to other people can affect their emotions. If we react things softly then we will achieve peace in our hearts. On the other hand, if we respond it harshly then it seems like we are giving war to them. So, let's be aware of people who have many grudges in life. Avoid to talk with them or you can help them in other way. 4. Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger (Ephesians 4:26) This verse reminds us that we are not commiting sin if we get angry. If we cannot control our temper and we express our emotions through harsh or bad words that somehow hurt them, that's the time we committed sin against us. Like what Jesus did, He was get angry to many people for what the priests and businessmen did. The temple of God became the market of thieves. That's the reason why JesusChrist get angry but the way He disposed His temper, He never mistaken. 5. There is no peace, says my God, for the wicked (Isaiah 57:21) God is the source of peace. All goodness belong to Him. On the other hand, evil is the source of conflicts and troubles. All bad things owned by Satan. Wicked people always think for chaotic place. Psychologically, they want always to get involve into mental struggle. Whereas, good people are always having or showing kindness even to bad people. They love peace and are loving and forgiving people. Let there be peace in our hearts. Let's forgive one another. Closing Thoughts People get into trouble because he felt upset caused by someone. Because of trouble, someone could feel a strong feeling of hatred. Because of anger, he has excessive dislike to somebody. Because of hatred, somebody will revenge to reduce his pains and suffering. To avoid these things, plant love in our hearts; invest peace in our minds; and be faithful in our actions. Thank you for your time.

Less is More In the bible, God completely created the heaven and earth within six days. By the seventh day, He finished what He had been doing and stopped working (Gen. 1:1-31, 2:1-4). Hello writers, readers, learners, likers, subscribers, commentarists and upvoters! How are you today as you click and read this article? Hoping we are all well and good. This month, before I forgot is a fire prevention month. The bureau of fire protection (BFP) celebrates this campaign through out the Philippines annually. So, with this we must be watchful of our respective houses to avoid accident that can harm our family and friends. When less becomes more? Mathematically, this question was answered and discussed in the classroom particularly on Linear Inequalities in two variables. Here are some examples of when less is more: Less expenses; more savings Less trees; more floods Less make-up; more beautiful Less talk; more listening Less money; more peace of mind But that's not the point of my article. Let's have more on spiritual aspects of our lives. Despite of many challenges we encountered in our lives such as worries and fears, ups and downs, failures and mistakes or lapses, obstacles and trials, we are still kicking and alive. We're so still blessed and thankful that we are able to overcome those inevitable situations or instances. If something is overused, its value definitely diminished. Same holds through with us. During weekdays, if our day is occupied with lot of works to be done, at the end of the day, surely we will be exhausted. What about during weekends? Are you still working? On Sunday, what did you do? Still working on Lord's day? I think, it's our time to rest. The best things to relax are: Visit the house of God. Meditate and Pray. Listen His words. Follow and obey. Bring good news to the people. Teach and apply. Time for Yourself God gave us six days to work and one day to rest. Which means to say, six days for ourselves and only one day for God. We spend more time for ourselves. We're so busy in our respective workplaces. As teachers, we are overloaded with lot of works especially in preparing modules to be distributed to our students until computing their grades. We sometimes dismayed receiving their answer sheets as clear as crystal 😭😭😭. It seems like they don't even touch and read the modules. It's another problem for us to compute their grades and we are instructed not to fail our students since there is no face to face discussion. Jusmeo! Wala gyoy teacher ani nga makasud sa langit. Here is another! At the end of the month, we will be preparing documents to be submitted for our monthly reports and securing evidences like minutes and accomplishment completion report to support the principles in School Based Management or known as SBM. At home, there are many household chores to be done plus duties and responsibilities as parents to perform. We give time for our children which is supposedly the most important to do. All of these worldly things would sometimes lead us to frustration, depression, and stress. Other people attempt to suicide just to end their problems while others ask help and guidance from the Lord. Time for God In the third of the 10 commandments, it says remember the Lord's day and keep it holy. God asks our time to go to His place for He will listen our prayers. Can you imagine how little time God is asking us? In fraction, one over seven, 1/7 or 14% only for the Lord and 86% for ourselves within a week. Why is God like that? My answer to that is because He really loves us so much. We have Less time for God but it helps us to know Him more. We will use that time to love Him more. And most importantly, we will use that little time to serve Him more through His people. Though we have only less time for God, let's do more good to others. Let's show kindness to them. All our achievements here on Earth will be gone but our faithful God remains forever. Thank you for reading my third article. Keep safe everyone.

@Castiel-han

I am Destined for What I am Now... When I grow up I want to be a doctor... Can you still remember this line during our primary days when our teacher asked us what we want to be in life? If not, how about this one? Has someone asking you if what would be your future someday? Look at you now! The ambition you want to be is really what you are today? If not, then we have the same story. Dream and ambition is quite similar. We keep on dreaming to achieve our ambition. Like you, I have only one ambition. I am asking your little time to be with in this article... Thanks! First Ambition: Lawyer When I was a child, I really want to be a lawyer. You know what? Because every time I saw a movie or teleserye, I got interested in the court scene during hearing session. First, when a lawyer examined the witness through asking questions. Second, when the other lawyer defended or protected his defendant against the other party. Third, when the court is noisy. Lastly, when the judge said... Silence in the court!...while holding the wooden gavel. I really love that part of the movie. It's only a dream. But what happened to me now? I failed my ambition. Second Ambition: Manager My dream does not stop there. After my high school graduation, I confused what course to be enrolled in college. Though math is my favorite subject, I'm afraid to take an engineering course for I know I would encounter higher mathematics which made me difficult to understand. Then what happened, I was enrolled in Agribusiness course major in Business Management. After four years, luckily I graduated but having no award. After few months of my graduation, I was hired as development officer or simply field collector in a certain bank. I thought I would become manager in that bank but unfortunately I was not given an opportunity. Nevertheless, I voluntarily resigned my work as commanded by my mother because she does not want me to die if robbery will happen again. Look at me now! I don't have work. I failed again my ambition. Third Ambition: Politician Since at that time I don't have job anymore, I engaged into small businesses. I was cooking and selling before a waffle and ice candy. It lasted only for a few months. I ventured another business which is buy and sell. It also never lasted long. Until such time, the people in my barangay encouraged me to run as a barangay captain. Then I failed twice. All my savings were gone and also I borrowed money from my sister just to buy their votes. God never allowed me to get into the world of politicians because I served Him on that time as lay minister. He does not want me to be involved in any political issues. What happened to me? I never became a politician. I failed my ambition. Fourth Ambition: Priest Since at that time and even until now, I serve our Master through His people. I am not a preacher but a simple and extra-ordinary lay minister. One time, I opened the television on TVMaria channel. I was inspired watching the life of a man who called by God to be his servant - priesthood life. I loved to watch a priest everytime he performed the sacrament. Then, it came in my mind what if I will get into seminary. But I discerned that one to God, then I realized that it was not my calling. Aside from the age because I was 33 at that time, it's costly and it takes years before you become a priest. I failed again. But, life must go on. Final Ambition: Educator O**ur good God sometimes never heard our prayer because He has best plan for us. I took my supplemental studies, having 18 units of major subjects of Education as one friend of mine encouraged me to enroll. Then, after one year I took the teacher's licensure examination. In God's Grace, I passed the said examination. After a couple of months, I applied in school where I graduated. Fortunately, I was immediately hired. There, I found my GG (God's gift). GG because God answered my prayer to be married with @Canah-el and blessed with two kids as I mentioned on my first article, Mathematics in Life.** I never dream to become a teacher since I was a silent student before. I wasn't not born to get into teaching profession but I am destined by God to be an Educator. That's my dream story. What about yours? Please feel free to make some comments, like and subscribe!

Mathematics In Life Hi everyone! Today marks 1st day of March. We're now on the third month of year 2022. This might be another challenge in our lives. Also, today is my first time to publish my first article in this online platform. I am a bisaya from Philippines, married and blessed with two kids. I am working at DepEd as Math Teacher for almost 9 years. You know the life of being a teacher is uneasy task especially nowadays. Our lives rotates from enconding, printing, distributing, gathering, collecting, checking, computing and many more. That cycle repeats from first quarter to fourth quarter. From the title itself, Mathematics In Life, is Mathematics really important or applicable in our lives? No doubt, the answer is definitely Yes. We debated for this with my wife, an English educator because she insisted that English is more important and applicable than Mathematics. Anyway, that's not my topic. Like science, mathematics has also different branches. When we study mathematics, we not only become a mathematicians. Most students (because not all) who love mathematics will pursue their studies to any courses with more problems to solve like engineer, statistician, accountancy, and the like. Though mathematics is considered as the most difficult subject of among learning areas, still many students learn to love numbers. As we can see things around us, there are many objects that are represented by Mathematics. As engineers do, they could be able to connect one place to another by constructing bridges. As far as my knowledge is concerned, engineers apply the what so called Triangle Congruency to make bridges firmer and stronger 💪. If you have tried to play kite flying anywhere, don't you know that it's also being applied with triangle congruency? What is triangle congruency? Basically, two triangles are congruent if their corresponding sides and angles are congruent. (Murag nagdiscuss man si sir hihihi) In making a kite using broomsticks, if you have noticed there are two triangles formed which are having the same sides and angles (congruent). It helps the kite flying high. In the field of statistics, another branch of Mathematics, lot of works being done everyday. Even in gathering data of number of Covid patients and number of recovery and deaths who were affected by the virus were recorded statistically. Nevertheless, statisticians keep records of the data in a certain agency or group for data analysis. Talking about an accounting, it also involves numbers on how to make the financial statements of a company or business. It's a work of an accountant to make income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements to help the managers or even the owner of the business to see the status and performance of the company. How can other people say that Mathematics is useless or meaningless? In fact, when we go to a market and buy something there are mathematical operations that involve when we add all the cost or expenses and even receiving the change after subtracting your money from the total expenses. If we do not know the basic operations of Mathematics, somehow will be cheated from the seller. Finally, the learning of Mathematics is very useful in our lives how much more its significant when we applied it to real life situation. In bridge, there is math for we can not travel to other places without it. In a company or business, there is math for we can not gain profit if we don't apply any mathematical operations. In our lives, there is mathematics as well for we can not move without money. Above all, when God who is a greatest mathematician made all the creations on Earth 🌎there is Mathematics when He created the world within six days and rested for the seventh day. Thank you for your valuable time in reading this. Hope you learn something the importance of Mathematics in our lives.
