May Report - Total Rewards: 2,5BCH From read.cash And Noise
May can be considered a tragedy, yet, perhaps an opportunity too, since some cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Cash that offer extensive utility sell at a bargain price.
The whole ordeal reminded me of 2018 when prices followed a similar route and evaporated a large chunk of profits from the previous year.
The vast decline in prices makes many upset, and the current price of Bitcoin Cash doesn't allow room for celebrations. Bitcoin Cash doesn't escape the negative trajectory and keeps losing ground to Tether pumped BTC.
Still, no hope is lost, at least not for Bitcoin Cash. There are cryptocurrencies in a more difficult position. Such as every VC-backed project that reached extreme valuations but delivered insubstantial developments and limited utility. Bitcoin Cash is less dangerous than Solana, Cardano, Polkadot, Avalanche, and Polygon and deserves a higher market cap than many more currently ranked with a higher market cap (Shiba Inu, Dogecoin, Leo, Cro, FTX, and more).
When considering trading, the current price for Bitcoin Cash is at an entry point. DCA has the best odds to deliver positive results.
This is the best time to buy, but with a focus on cryptocurrencies that work. Too many vaporware appeared in 2020-2021 and will all have the same fate as the previous ones of 2017.
Rewards from read.cash and noise reached close to 2.5BCH, which I added to the rest aiming to keep using and investing BCH to smartBCH. Hopefully, a few more decent smartBCH projects will appear that will deserve investing.
Monthly Report: May 2022
The outcome from writing was fantastic, particularly in terms of BCH, but it is not a result of performing better as a writer. It is the outcome of the price of BCH dropping severely as rewards in both read.cash and noise.cash valuated in USD.
read.cash: 2.11 BCH
I understand that read.cash alone helps many folks that also deserve it. I've said it before many read.cash users are helping a lot, adding value to the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem, using Bitcoin Cash, and of course, depending on situations some have to sell their rewards for a fiat currency, this is also understandable. Perhaps if everyone held half of the rewards it would be better, but this is up to the user. Still, most are helping with their articles and support of Bitcoin Cash and smartBCH.
It is a mistake to say they didn't. Still, with noise.cash the whole format of the platform is different, and we find occasionally less support for Bitcoin Cash and more for BTC instead.
My recommendation on changing the system to one based on staking was mostly about noise.cash. Perhaps a mandatory staking of half the rewards and an withdrawal process that would take several weeks.
The rewards from read.cash are significant to most users and don't pressure the price. It is just a tiny fraction of the overall volumes produced.
Moreover, most of the folks engage positively with Bitcoin Cash and smartBCH developments. Nobody is accusing anyone of selling in fiat. These are small amounts that don't display immense pressure on the price of BCH.
My top piece for May was: "Kim Dotcom Announces Two New Apps With Tremendous Potential!" which attracted 352 views and $35.76 in tips.
Average views dropped a lot this month, and perhaps it had to do with everyone being affected by the price decline. It affected me as well, and sometimes I felt I could have produced better results in my articles.
noise.cash 0.38BCH
I've been busy with noise spending lots of time daily.
The total rewards reached an incredible 0.38BCH!
Also glad that payments resumed after a short pause, although, again I got to recommend counting the payment in BCH, at least temporarily.
I published two or three new noises daily, reading, tipping, and commenting on posts using noise many times daily.
The quality of posts in noise.cash is increasing constantly and lately, I find all types of noises posted that keep us occupied, entertained, intrigued, and notified about events in and out of crypto.
Another positive effect noise.cash had was that together with read.cash they helped smartBCH significantly to achieve a growing userbase.
Rest platforms
On Medium, I get a decent number of views, but as already explained, Google's SEO picks them, and most viewers come from google search. I'm not having a lot of views from Medium subscribers, but there is a small income that is welcome.
Hive is not a priority, and it takes some time even to republish our content.
I don't expect too much from Hive or Medium, so I'm only going to republish content on these platforms for the time being.
In Conclusion
The target of reaching 100BCH for 2022 is a lot closer now, but I would wish the price was a lot higher, even if that meant I wouldn't achieve it.
Shorters deserve to get rekt, especially the fake fiat (centralized USDT) used in crypto casinos (Binance, FTX, Bitfinex, etc.)
I invested more in smartBCH projects (a few projects and NFTs), although with a strict approach in the selection process.
The article will be rewritten for the Medium audience and published there, aiming to bring members to both platforms (read.cash and noise.cash)
I've figured that many will sign up on these two platforms but maybe get disappointed by not immediately reaching the top tips.
In case a beginner reads this article, I've created these guides which will answer most questions:
Special thanks to Marc De Mesel and Simon for making read.cash and noise.cash possible.
