I’ve been on Read.Cash for almost seven months already! Just that is quite an achievement for me, and when I started, I never expected to find such a cozy and warm community. Thank you so much, I couldn't have done it without you!
I recently achieved 25,000 views in my posts and find it the perfect occassion to present you with my top-ten articles on Read.Cash, according to viewer count.
Read.Cash is above all an excellent source of crypto-related information. The Bitcoin Cash community is also active here and reporting news and developments. Read.Cash has also secured a position as a leading platform with the potential to grow into one of the top blogging and publishing websites.
It had been an amazing time so far. Read.Cash helps many writers survive through some troublesome times we are living with Covid lockdowns, reduced income, crypto crashing, and various other difficulties. It also helps users financially, through tips from BCH community members like Marc and the automated tipping bot.
It has also helped me mentally, though. Especially during the lockdown, when there was a need for an escape from far too many unpleasant situations, I found it in writing.
A few words about Google Search and SEO
To begin with, I have to explain that until recently I knew little about SEO or how Google search algorithm works. I still don’t bring “keywords” in my titles or descriptions. I have created some titles containing capital letters but tried to make them meaningful. Beyond that, I don’t have the intention of tricking an algorithm and maybe there is no need to think about it a lot.
I did not design my articles with an approach to exploit SEO and reach high visibility and rankings in Google search results. Internet users are trying to find answers, and Google algorithms find and display the best possible results.
A title alone is meaningless. If the content isn’t brilliant but the writer just tries to insert keywords, then the whole concept will just be a trick to fool the algorithm.
Maybe spending some time to put some keywords in the content could help, but my priorities right now are improving my writing and delivering better content each time I publish.

Is This An Organized Attack Against Bitcoin Cash? - Stay Strong Marc! (Sept. 19, 2021)
To an outsider, it might look like I was trying to create drama but there was no such intention. There may or may not be a connection between some events but there doesn't need to be one, to know that Bitcoin Cash is been attacked in any way possible for many years.
I have noticed our guy, Marc, is active again on Noise.Cash and we are all glad he is fine and "noising" again! No matter the issues he has to face today, he will come out of any situation stronger than ever.
Noise.Cash also recovered instantly after the hack attempts and everybody has already forgotten about the hack, which is a good thing.

How to Set Up Metamask and Add Networks: Binance (BSC), Polygon (Matic), OKEx, SmartBCH - Tutorial (July 7th, 2021 )
I have republished this one on Medium and it has 3.1k views.
For some reason, it was trending on Medium but not on read.cash for some time.
I think this has now changed since the search results at google point to read.cash instead of Medium. I was tracking this for some time and the Medium results at Google have now been replaced with Read.Cash, something that I find to be better since this is where I originally published it.
It is now one of the top search results and Google gives the original source (Read.Cash) and not Medium. We can find it easily on the first page of results when using various word combinations about the subject, although Google also changes results often and it is also depending on each country’s results.
When I created this article, the point was to help cryptocurrency users understand Metamask since the use of SmartBCH DeFi and smart contracts require it. SmartBCH configuration was only available for beta-testers at that phase so initially, I only explained how it would work and didn’t give SmartBCH configuration until the mainnet was officially released.
With this article, I explain to beginners that haven’t met Metamask yet, how to create a new wallet, and easily connect with other networks including BSC, Polygon, and SmartBCH.

The Mysterious SOS Sign in Japan (July 22nd, 2021)
This one is also trending on Google searches. It appears on top of results and I am glad that it keeps growing fast. I have had to edit and reword many parts lately, to make the narration better.
I did vast research on this topic and also discovered how some YouTube storytellers are hiding facts to make a story even more mysterious or perhaps to increase their views.
My approach is to discover the truth, solve the puzzle, and explain what exactly happened. Perhaps this was missing from the internet and Google acknowledged it.

The Ultimate Beginner's Guide to Bitcoin Cash (April 18, 2021)
I will have to re-write parts of this one, but it is 22 minutes long, and will require many hours of revision. It required the most time than any other article and I tried to bring as much information as I could. It is not exactly an ultimate guide though, but a guide for beginners in Bitcoin Cash that explains a lot and gives directions (links) for further details.

DeFi on Bitcoin Cash is here! (March 22nd, 2021)
In this article, I wrote about SmartBCH developments and how it was planning to create a sidechain that would facilitate the development of DeFi within the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem. Also, I explore the options of Anyhedge-Detoken and Coinflex.
Since I published that post there have been developments:
Sadly Detoken has shut down operations because of regulatory concerns since September 4th (Source: Bitcoin.com).
SmartBCH has been released and the development of DeFi smart contracts is on the rise.

GBTC - Institutions dumping Bitcoin in OTC (March 31st, 2021)
In March, I presented the case of GBTC and how the discount to NAV was creating doubts about the interest in BTC by institutions. Although there was pressure from Canadian ETFs that attracted most of the wealthy investors and institutions. Still, this event created doubts on BTC since the price in the OTC market where Grayscale products are trading, is constantly 10-20% lower.
As we can see from the chart the discount is still there after many months at double digits.

Satoshi Pyramid is a SCAM (June 6th, 2021)
The rest of my articles are ranging between 100-250 views, while some have lower numbers.
I am writing at a high rate on cryptocurrencies, but I am also interested in other subjects. Investing is an important part of everyone’s financial life.
Also, mystery stories are fun to read, and always draw high traffic if presented with a certain professional storytelling approach.

The 25,000 mark is an incredible achievement, and it is also setting my new goals as I will strive to make it 50,000 and 100,000 possible next.
I republish many of my articles at Medium and Hive.
Medium is a top-100 website according to traffic and often some of my articles are trending there. I had quite a few articles with 6k and 5k views, mostly from Google traffic, though.
Google takes Medium seriously because of its general position in internet rankings, and while I always use the “import” option that states I published the same article somewhere else first, it seems that the Medium articles will trend no matter if they are not the original source. Probably something Google will need to fix.
Medium pays nothing for traffic from Google, though. It pays when a Medium subscriber reads our articles, but gives nothing to the author from free users’ views and reads.
I always explain the origin of the article and it is helping Read.Cash to republish content elsewhere. It is our content and we may do as we please with it, but the financial incentive was not the reason I started using either Medium or Hive.
I have to explore how my content is appreciated by different communities. We can only get better this way. We receive feedback and information from various sources to improve. Medium has its top authors but is not a viable income source for 99% of writers there. It has some celebrities and social media influencers that post once in a while and make a quick buck, but I don’t think there is much room for the top positions.
I publish original content at Hive too (sometimes), but writing two articles daily is not a simple task. Even one article takes many hours of thinking about what to write, writing, reviewing, editing, finding images, and modifying them.
The core concept of our article is always of utmost importance. Finding any topic is easy, but finding the one topic that could attract the attention of several viewers is where we fail more than often. But there comes a time when our article starts trending and we become valuable for the platforms we are using.
As a closing remark, I feel obliged to thank my readers and followers. The reason to write is having people reading you. I am always trying to find the most important topics to discuss and bring them in the best approach. I will edit and rewrite my articles even months later to make them look better.
There are plenty of other writers that are doing a better job than me. I acknowledge and follow them and I hope to keep improving and reach their level one day.
Sincerely, I have once again to thank Read.Cash and the Read.Cash Community.
