Some of my Favourite Poems, V. "I love to redefine my poetry with rhymes. I don't like complicated words or confusing grammar. I love to appeal to my readers in simple words so they can think deeper than the words I used. I have nothing against big words, I am only saying I am redefining poetry for those who lose interest easily because they feel the big words make it confusing for them. It's my way of making everyone appreciate the power of words and poetry." - Olawalium. Benefits! Benefits!* *Let life befit us, let us be fit for life,* *may our efforts gather in a great feat* *and blessings be upon our feet* *may joy be all over our sheets* *may peace spread on our streets* *when we are down, may we find lifts* *and in need, may we find gifts* *may we not lose our courage to contend for our daily bread* *and finally, may we find the hope we seek this day.* **I Feel You.**

You didn't set in with the sunset,* *Alas! The day took a new turn and* *the night danced to its sad music,* *you tripped and fell into the unexpected,* *you now sink in the sea,* *deep into the where no one can see.* *But yet, even till your last breath,* *I feel you.* *I feel you and I see the way you hold onto the last strand of hope.* *I feel you and I see your intentions so pure,* *but in this deep sea, where survival is not sure,* *I hope you still hold onto your hope.* *Maybe, just maybe I can feel your physical touch again.* **Beware.**
Image Source. https://www.pexels.com/photo/spooky-woman-with-smeared-paints-on-face-5777534/ *Beware of those who tell you that they have your back because most don't* *A lot of people speak in the heat of the moment* *After they have received such a kind gesture from you* *It's hard to know who is loyal especially when they are out for something* *Life is tricky but how do we know who is worth sticking to?* *Pay attention not only to their words but the words they didn't say* *We often relax and failed to watch out for the things we should* *Because we have believed they understood loyalty as we could* *Life and people aren't a reflection of how we are sometimes* *Life happens and humans act the way they think is best for them* *This is why I pay attention to the words others aren't saying* *I tend to know those who mean it and those who are playing* *We have no control over what others do but we can control ours* *You can control how you respond to betrayal from those closest to you* *You can choose to see things differently while guarding your heart too* *Beware of those who speak with their lips but their heart is far* *You would know when their words don't match their actions* **I Love The Scent.**

It's beautiful π
Thank you, my friend.
I prefer simple words too. Simple words that could touch people's hearts. What's the use of big words if it only confuses the readers

Yaaaaay! Thank you, my good and creative friend.

Brother I love to your poem about scents. I shall say,"Amen" on your each word of prayer. I love Your each rhyme about Beware provided me more protection brother.
I am super excited to hear that. I am more encouraged to do more. Thank you.
This poems reminds me of when I was still creative and not now anymore. The poem about being concern about the words people don't say, is actually correct, most times we don't mind little actions of people and it turns out to be a problem for us.
You can still make that creative juice flow...it starts with putting the first word down and everything else flows. Yes, we need to stop creating that problem for ourselves. Thanks a lot. π€
I need to write a poem too but am scared of reading any love part in yours so I won't be copying to mind next article too, but I will sure write one, I need to show my friends your poems I have two of my friends that are mad lovers of poetry and this are this they like debating on and am promising now that no matter how clear we all are seeing this your poems these boys will find something to debate on in any of this poems you have written.
It's perfectly fine to have people have a debate over things. The debate isn't about anything bad but about their opinions. We are shaped by the things we have been exposed to. I might disagree with them but I would respect their opinions to whatever they believe in. You should write that poem...just do it like NIKE would say.
the poem today's prayer is such a good poem. i feel like i am really praying while reading it. i feel the essence of faith, hope and surrender.
I am happy. Thanks a lot for your appreciation and time too. It means a lot.
Thank you for this prayer my friend. βΊοΈ How I wish I am like you. So talented in writing βΊοΈ
Thank you so much dear. I feel honoured. You are talented dear. I've read your works. I love how you write from your heart.
What a lovely set poem collection, I love poems because it is best used in describing the situation of things and someone's deepest feelings. As I was reading it sinks inside of me and my heart gives it an interpretation. I claim all the good things you said in your praying and again I could feel how you lost someone so dear to you, but the truth is that...nothing is permanent in this life. No one will create a deep wound in us than the. The person who is so close to us, we have to be very careful of whom we call our friends because some of them possess a venom that is more poisonous than a snake, at your fromt they will treat you like you are all too them, but at your back, you workh nothing to them.
I appreciate your deep understanding of these poems. That's the whole idea of it...to create an opinion in everyone's head with varying interpretations. Thanks a lot, dear.
Today's prayer I feel you and beware I love your scent. Don't know if that makes sense to you as it did to me but all those topics awesomely connect.
Hahahaha I love what you did there. Thank you.
