Deeper In The Ditch.

Image Source. https://www.pexels.com/photo/sad-woman-standing-on-coast-of-sea-at-sunset-5273059/ *Life can be humorous sometimes, depending on how we see it* *Life varies for everyone too, depending on how we live it* *Life gives all to some while others seem to have it worse* *Just when some wish to raise their heads high, they got a blow to the head* *When you find yourself in the ditch, stop digging* *When dirt is being thrown at you, rather, shake it off* *No one said life would be easy and life deals with everyone differently* *There is no one with a success story that hasn't been dealt with* *We might not all have the same standing but we have something to start with* *We might think our experience is different but someone has gone through it before* *Situations wouldn't always be pleasant and that's why we need help* *Some help would take you farther from your goals and some, closer* *Some things come to us as help but they are sinking sand with nothing to hold* *And we would go further into the ditch than we started with* *We can only live through life and then hope for the best with the right attitude* *Never waste your experiences and that of others, so, always ask questions* *The more you know the lesser mistakes you make as you journey through life.*

Sadly, she couldn't further her education nor completed the basic one due to the death of her father. It wasn't as though they were rich but they had enough to live subsistent. The health of her mother plummeted the moment her father died and the little they have had to go into the health of her mother. She did everything possible to get a job but nothing came up. No one wants to help her within it asking her to open her legs to repay the favour. She wasn't taught that way and she always declined which made the help she was to get restricted to some extent. She cried herself to sleep just looking at her mother on the bed and her little brother. The unexpected happened one day as her mother's health took a turn for the worst. Before she got back home that afternoon, neighbours had already taken her mother to the clinic and now, she is saddled with the responsibility of coughing the hospital bills, which she was given a limited time frame to bring else she wouldn't lose her mother. As she was going back home from the clinic that evening, she met a man who parked his car close to her asking her to come in upon seeing the tears flowing down her face without caution. She was hesitant as usual but the man insisted and she told him about her current predicament. As usual, the man took advantage and promised to not only give her the money but also some extra so she can fend for herself and her brother. He asked her to go home with him and would give her the money the next morning before she leaves. Torn between different worlds, she accepted and went with the man who fulfilled his promise and she settled the bills. She decided to go fully into this lifestyle and used the proceeds to feed her family as well as send her brother to school. She told her mother she found a job and that's how she has been able to sustain her family. After 3 years, her mother died and she was left with her brother. She had been mulling on the idea of quitting that "job" and the azure sky promised her a beautiful morning that day when one of her numerous customers who happened to be a widower asked her if she would marry him. It dragged for a while and she finally agreed. The man has two children and the girl is in the United Kingdom, studying while the other one, the guy works in the father's company. The man's son had eyes for Jasmine and would always make passes at her when they were alone. She didn't want to do anything to offend him so she won't be sent packing because she felt she has found a place to give answers to everything she wished for because the man is wealthy.

The man was away for 7 days and he had his way with her every day for those 7 days against her wishes. She would always hold back tears when she speaks with the man every day on the phone and waited for him to come back before opening up to this man. The man got back and she told him what his son did with her but he didn't seem displeased. He simply told her never to deny the son anytime he comes around and she was shocked. It was later she got to know that father and son sleep with each other's woman/lady and that's how they have always been. She thought she has gotten herself a home and an end has come to her misery after she met this man. She came from one ditch and landed in a much deeper one. *Thank you for your time.* *My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks.
