Random Act Of Kindness.

We live in a world where no one cares that much about others but themselves. It's about what they want, their own comfort, even if what they have to give wouldn't cost them that much. Giving is relative but one thing shouldn't change which is the heart behind any act of kindness we choose to show others. The focus of the world has changed and it aches my heart a bit more because we have switched priorities and that's why the world is suffering. We have more people who spend too much time looking good rather than being kind. We try to impress people who shouldn't matter that much because we want to keep up with the perception of the world. The world has more beautiful people (whether natural or enhanced) than kind people. I've always said that the best compliment you can give any human is this; "*You are kind*" and not, "*You are beautiful*" or "*You are handsome*". We have too much of handsome faces and beautiful ladies out there but we are lacking where kind people are concerned. We can show kindness with the way we speak even if we don't have what it takes to meet the physical need of others. We can show more than words if we have what it takes to meet the physical needs of others. We can give a shoulder to lean on for someone who feels lonely and helpless if all they need is someone to listen to them but things are so messed up because we think everything is about money. Many people shy away from engaging others or being available to others because they feel the only way they are expected to show kindness to others is through money. I don't know how the world gets messed up to this point where we attribute everything to money. You see someone dress so nice and the first thing that comes to your mind is "*How much is that wristwatch?*" And so many people have gone about things the wrong way too because the moment they see someone dress and look good, the first thing that comes to their mind is, "Let me ask him or her for money." A lot had changed with the world and that's why I gave those two instances as to why most people tend to take the back seat. We wouldn't have most of the problems in the world if we have more kindness of heart. Do you think anyone who is considered kind would want to steal or kill another human? Absolutely not. Things can be reduced to the barest minimum if we can show kindness to others.

One of them can drink himself to stupor. He would come to the office and the stench of alcohol from his breath has stopped me many times from giving him money. I wanted to help him but I had to find another way. Giving him money would be useless because the few times I did, I am so sure that money didn't get home with him and yet, he is an old man who I am sure at that time to have a family he is a expected to cater for. I thought long and hard before I concluded on buying foodstuffs for him. Rather than him living day by day, I decided to at least settle him with foodstuffs that would last him for a month, at least. I went to the market with another colleague and we got all the necessary things for these two men. My colleague even volunteered to take the foodstuff home for the other man who likes to drink because he said he isn't sure he won't sell them off at a cheaper price and use the money to drink. He made sure he took it home with the man alongside him and met with the wife to whom he handed those things. Showing kindness requires wisdom too because the kindness that ends with just one person isn't all that great. I feel kindness can start with one person and then have a ripple effect later on. Others have to also benefit from it and that's how it means a lot to us because it makes us want to be of help to others as well. There is this Chinese proverb that I've come to love over the years and it says: "***Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man how to fish, he eats for a lifetime. Enlighten him further and he would own a chain of seafood restaurants.***" That's why I said kindness requires wisdom. When we help others not necessarily to feel good with ourselves but to see them to better, it makes that kind act add a nice ring to it. Don't just do it because you want to get people off your back but we need to show consideration for the recipient. If we can take the focus off ourselves always and try to make others better, then we can make things better. Most people confuse business arrangements for kindness. Kindness is not truly kindness until you have been there for someone who might never be able to repay you. A lot of people would make bad decisions in life, whether we like it or not and our kindness shouldn't be based on who they are or what they have done wrong but who we are. It takes a lot of courage to be kind in a selfish world. It's not easy because a lot of people would test you but it's not impossible either. *Thank you for your time.* *My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks. A lot of people prefer to show off their fancy lifestyle and cars. Love to feel superior to others. I think that is one of the problem we have,the way some people think is despicable. Rather than show kindness,help by lifting others,try help people build a career for themselves. They prefer giving peanuts at most. No matter how successful we are in life, we should never forget to show kindness to EVERYONE. Millions won't be taken from you for showing kindness.

Yes, we need to go a step further to teach them how to work it out. Most people are contented with receiving kindness and they have become lazy.
For me, people are thinkingthat the only way to help is through money is because people are only asking for help when they need money. Though I know its bad because it will only make that person rely on you, as I'm watching in a lot of vlog people are just giving money to everyone and I know that will gonna last for a week or a month. I'm getting happier when I'm seeing a homeless man being help to get a job and have a proper life

dedication, kindness is often done by people is giving but in fact in some cases giving is just a bridge in the sense that giving will get something in return or in return and also as an opportunity to approach other people. Sincerity is the main thing in kindness but is often misunderstood in action.

I agree. The world would be a much better place if people showed more kindness. Lately I've been feeling like people have become more and more shallow as time goes by and it's mostly because people like to compare themselves to others. The only thing that would help is being kind to ourselves and then others.
That's right. A lot of people have become more shallow and self oriented as life goes on making us lose humanity in the process.
