250 Years Is A Long Time.
A wonderful person asked this question as to what would happen to the world in 250 years to come. He asked us to be creative with it but with a bit of sincerity as well as fiction if we would like. I would love to share my response with my friends here and then ask for your opinion as well, what do you think the world would look like in 250 years to come?
We have always been living this life with hope. We always hope for better things but there are some sad realities we cannot escape from which a huge factor of it is the human factor. I shared that I can remember how we were hopeful while growing up that things would get better but recent events have shown that things might not get better as long as humans remain human. It's not all about the negative aspect of things because life is all about balance and I tried to strike a balance as you would see going forward in this post.
No doubt, we have recorded significant improvements in technology and in finding solutions to most of the situations plaguing the world but human actions haven't changed as we have been riddled with greed, selfishness and wickedness. In 250 years to come, I can only imagine the level of wickedness and greed that would have been introduced into the world. I doubt human lives would be worth much just as we have seen in the world today.
We have inconsiderate people in the world and that won't get any better. I've said many times that most of the problems we have in the world can be solved and this world would advance if only we can be better humans. It's scary to think of what humanity would be like in 250 years to come.
In the aspect of technology, I know things would have been way better and no imagination would fully capture it. By that time, we would have been on 700G while most people would be cruising around with Electronic cars that won't require you to buy fuel. I can't even wrap my head around the kind of phones we would be using at that time and I am sure those phones will be invisible. The kind of phones where you are the only one seeing what you are punching into your keypads. I can only imagine the kind of technological advancements we would have achieved by then.
Just as we have phone ranges depending on your pockets, I believe by that time we would have several electronic cars with different brands and not just Tesla. The world can't resist that change when it comes just as we advanced from Horses and Bicycles and Bikes to Cars and Aircraft, I am sure the world would have no choice but to adopt Electronic cars.
In 250 years to come, I feared that humanity would become worse as a result of these technological changes because everyone would want to keep up with it. We have those who want to show off and exploit others. Greed, theft and wickedness will hit another all-time high as humans are capable of circumventing processes for their gains.
On the part of Cryptocurrency, it would be the order of the day and it would spread like wildfire. By that time, cryptocurrency would have become a legal tender and for any transaction you want to do, you would have to pay with Cryptocurrency. Bitcoin Cash is already leading the way for this and I can't begin to imagine the future of Bitcoin Cash in 250 years to come. It would be staggering and impressive. You want to make a purchase, you have to pay with Cryptocurrency and that's what's going to happen in 250 years to come.
Some government has been kicking against it as we have seen recently but because we know our politicians enjoy the expensive things of life. The moment they want to get the latest car and they are being asked to pay with Cryptocurrency, they would understand the direction the world is going. It's a matter of time before they start discussing the budget at the senate levels in Bitcoins, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Hive, DogeCoin, Cardano, Polkadot, Link, Venus etc...
A lot would change on those fronts but it's sad that with humanity, a lot won't change that much and that's the biggest fear in the world. The more we understand humans, the more we see the need to admire the dogs (pets). Despite the significant changes that would be introduced into the world, the only constant that won't change and mess everything up is still the human factor.
Politicians would still kill for power, selfishness would still loom large in the air and deaths would still be on the high. Wickedness would still thrive in the world because humans would want to keep up as people would be concerned with showing off rather than making lives better.
I see a huge improvement in Agriculture in 250 years to come. There has been a lot of changes regarding the mode of farming and everything. In fact, Agriculture is moving into the Blockchain which @Amazing-grace shared earlier today. You can read about it HERE and you can look up the site HERE.
Every human would learn how to grow what they want to eat to prolong their lives and enjoy the quality of life. We know how hazardous these chemicals and pollution can be. There are so many fruits being grown by chemicals which can be harmful to the body but in 250 years to come, I see humans taking agriculture seriously. In 250 years to come, Agriculture would thrive.

We never no what the future brings to us but I think for sure, cryptocurrency will boom on this and for sure will be more relying on technologies.
