The mid-year starts
Hi everyone, how's everyone doing. I barely have time to write here lately because I've been busy at work and when I come home, my drive to write a draft dwindles as I feel to tired when I come home due to distant travels. When I think of it, I missed the friends that I have here in read, the lively conversations that we used to have in our comment sections that really helped my grow as an aspiring writer here in read
And now, I want to distract myself even though I felt a bit tired at the moment. I never knew that May would still grant me an amazement in life. I am super thankful to read.cash as it helped me survive in my daily expenses while waiting for our salary. Thank you Rusty for the generosity, I'd always appreciate it.
For last month,
I know I could still do better than what I've been through last month but as I see my earnings, I can't help but be happy to myself. That atleast I'm still able to have these despite my current situation.
As I've said last month, I really wanted to write everyday or atleast 25 articles but I failed it, again haha. But I am still happy that I made it to 15 articles despite being busy and being overwhelmingly tired, haha. And I still made a decent earnings, which was used eventually to sustain my expenses while working. I am so happy that read has given me a chance to be an independent person, for now. I've never borrowed from my parents ever since my job started.
And now, as this new month unfolds,
I am so happy that it been a brand new chapter of opportunities, and that it's a great day at work. I've bonded with my work/teammates very well and I am so happy that I have a very supportive and understanding teammates. They make me feel like having an extra motivation that makes me wanna come to work.
Now we're almost a month of being together, who would've known that we'd still be a good fit with each other, considering it was 5 months before we got a chance to work with them once again. We are so happy and blessed along with my friend who is near me, that we were given a chance to have great moments with them once again.
To think, we're still able to crack some smiles and laughters even though we had very little budget for ourselves since our salary has not arrived yet.
Now, for this month
Challenges will always come around and arise as situations suggest, but I am confident in my team that we will make it through and that will continue to have a productive day with each other despite certain limitations that we may encounter along the way. I just hope that I will grow more confident each day, as our work is related to customer service and we meet strangers everyday to register for the National ID System of the Philippines.
Author's Notes:
I will always be thankful to God, that I made it through my first month at work despite being assigned from a distant town from ours. And that I am forever thankful to my workmates who are always there for me and always helps me when I am in need of help and never thinks of me like I am different from them. May the obstacles in life that we may encounter continue to help us grow within ourselves as well as in how we deal with others.
I'll always do my best to make much of a presence here, to my dearest supportive read friends, much love to you all. Thank you for being my comfort here.

A scenic experience in an island
Throughout our experiences in life, no matter how old we have become, we can't deny that certain things could still be our first in something. And that is what we can call an achievement for ourselves. And it can really makes us a bit happy and proud for ourselves.
As for me,
I am really thankful to my job for the newest firsts that I've experienced in life. And I know that this is something that one can rarely have an opportunity. Our last station for the National ID Registration takes place at a distant barangay and it is an island. Yes, an island and a local tourist attraction in town.
It was even the very first time that we've been able to to get ahead the login time, which is 8AM meaning we've arrived 1 hour earlier at 7AM.
We were so excited, and we immediately assembled along with my workmates near the shore to wait for our transport. Our Supervisors then made a follow-up to make sure our transport would be available for us, and it will not arrive too late.
Later on, we were able to be onboard our transport, it was a rubber boat with an engine, I didn't know about how it is called, haha.
And as I can remember, we departed from the main land shore at 8:02AM.
I really cannot contain my excitement, as we feel the sea breeze with the rubberboat as it accelerates our way off to the island.
As I've said earlier, the destination that we are bound to arrive is one of the iconic "Cuatro Islas" wherein 3 islands including Apid is within the coast of Inopacan, Leyte while the other island the Himokilan Island is within the domain of Hindang, Leyte, a town we recently had our duty. And we were able to pass by the other 2 islands near Apid, and it is called the Mahaba and the more popular Digyo island. Although we could not see a closer look with the other islands, I can see from afar the its coastline is consisted of majestic white sand and even sandbars.
Ohh how I wish we were on a leisure trip, rather than a work travel, haha.
We arrived at the island at 9AM and it was so hot. As soon as we arrived at the island, we immediately looked for the venue for National ID registration. And I was able to register two children and since there were not a lot of clients, I went to the shores of the island just to gaze the majestic views of the island.
An hour before lunch,
I made sure to have a bit of a moment to feel the summer heat. I really loved the beaches as we are living in a rural area and it does not have any beaches nearby, only rivers.
The beach has such pristine waters, it just utterly beautiful, I really felt enchanted and in love with the surroundings.
I had a few snaps with myself, before having a quick dip. We know we won't stay here for long, so might as well capture some moments to have vibrant memories of what it feels to be in such a beautiful scenery.
It felt sunny,
Until we had lunch, that was when it started raining in the island. Since there were already no clients to cater in the afternoon, we prepared our stuff and waited for the rains to subside so that we can travel back to the mainland.
Our travels back was so fun because of the big waves, and then we became soaking wet as we reached the Town proper due to very heavy rains, haha.
But all in all, it was a worthy experience.
Closing Thoughts:
I never thought in my life that we would reach this kind of event. We only knew that we were there to do our job. But we made an extra mile to make it memorable. I can say that I truly was happy yesterday, and That I am so thankful to God for giving me a job, and a side happiness so unexpected that it felt so memorable and worth cherishing.
Thank you for your time, God bless my dearest supportive readers

Life does not always sail smoothly
There are something in life that we can say that its better to leave just as it is. It could be applied for machines or technologies, they are programmed or created to do specific functions and does it very efficiently. But out of frustration and a bit of disappointment, I can say that life is just not fair sometimes.
Sadly, leaving things just as they are cannot be applied in certain people. We can't deny the fact that there are always people who does best when they given tasks, whether at home or at work. But there will always be people whom you can say that they were created to test all of your patience in life.
Anywhere in any phase of our life,
We would always get the chance to be with very annoying people with characters that could be deemed very unpleasant. Back when I was still a student at a uni, I have been in a group with my classmates for our Undergraduate Thesis. It was supposed to be a shared responsibility but others seemed to have care less about it. There are even instances that I would get tired because only the few of us worked so hard to finish our thesis on time just to make it to graduation. I even had silly thoughts of kicking some of my groupmates from our research, but I did not let anger get the best of me, I still want them to pass on that semester so that we could graduate together and thank God we graduated, for the sake of friendship I chose to let it go. It's up to them now in how they could possibly make a thesis on their own when they'll be pursuing master's degree.
And now,
At work, we are not of the same team with these people However I find their laziness way out of hand. Every time we would fetch our equipments from our storage at the LGU of a certain town, members of the other team, especially their boys are always late and they really put a lot of hassle on our part. We were supposed to be sharing the effort of lifting our equipments into the transport of to our assigned destinations, however since they can't make it on time we have no choice but to lift it, for the sake of their Supervisor since she is a woman. But then, when they arrive at their assigned area, they'll be the ones doing the heavy lifting themselves because we cannot help them as always as we are also assigned in a different area.
Which is why, we are hoping that these workmates of ours would really change their ways. We have worked with each other before last November to December 2021 but they were not like this.
And since,
We were able to come home early for today, we chose not to be bothered about it. And has been trying to find ways to distract myself from that kind of a situation.
I came home feeling a bit hungry, and I went to town looking for someplace to eat along with my friend and luckily she also bought food, I really thought ahe would just tag along because I thought she wasn't hungry.
This is what I've been enjoying here in town, this is called pancit bicol. For me it is just like Mami, but I liked it too since the stock is not too salty unlike the Mami that were used to. We also bought siomai earlier and ate it alongside the pancit bicol.
Hohhh, thank you food for being our comfort in the days we feel worn out.
Closing Thoughts:
Tomorrow may seem another day, but I hope and pray that certain people would want to change for the better. They should not make life a hassle to other people. Lets make it a realization that the world does not revolve for ourselves alone, we should be thought about other peoples feelings and that how we can help it to be better.
I think this would be all, thank you my dearest supportive readers.

Some Peace and Quiet in nature
Sometimes in life, when we felt like we've had the things we really wanted so badly to achieve in life. We dream of having something to make us feel proud in ourselves even for a bit. And as we are along the road, in the current venture of ours, we suddenly feel things like we are tired and we just want to relax.
I've had my share of it. I feel very ecstatic yesterday, when I got a chance to bond with the people I could have time with for a long time.
And earlier, I had a chance to watch the sun rise in the midst of the sea of clouds. And it is such a great wonder, even though there's a lot of people at that moment, I didn't feel too bothered as I was just astounded by how beautiful nature could become.
I was accompanied by my friend all the way here, and it was such a bummer that we just slept on the morning alarm I've set last night. We really wanted to come here as early as we could but this was the best that we could arrive.
I could barely have a moment with just myself, but oh well, gotta make sure I could make full use of my entrance fee worth 10 pesos, hahaha. But honestly, this place is such a blast I really enjoyed every second that I've been here. It just so mesmerizing to gaze at the wonders of nature that we never knew, has long existed all along, and it's just a drive away from our town.
But I have to travel back for work,
And now, as I have a bit of time with myself. I also feel happy, as right now, I'm at the beach, watching the waves go back and forth as they crash on the shore. While also gazing the beautiful wonders of the sunset, ahh this is such a great feeling.
As most of you know, I live in a mountainous rural town and I don't get to see this wonders way too often in my life as we are living so distant from the sea. All I see around is the tall green mountains all around us, and we can't get to witness the beauty of the sunset as such as the sunset that we could gaze at the beach. I just feel lucky that I have a friend who lives near at the beach, this is why I have some place to stay while I could have a relaxed time with myself at the beach.
Back when I was in my younger years, I'd get excited if our relatives have something to celebrate such as birthdays because there's a chance that we'll be invited to go with them to have swim at the beach. And it was then, that I had a dream in childhood that I would want a house near the beach, but I don't know If I'd still want to have that these days as life has made me grow up and change a lot.
And lastly, I really wanted to go for a swim but I have no spare clothes so I'll probably pass, haha.
Closing thoughts:
We don't realize it way too often, even when we have lots of good people around, it still feels great to have a quality time with oneself. Even if it is not too grand, I for myself enjoy such magnificent views of nature even if I only have atleast one company or none at all.
But such things depends on other people, others may find it normal to have timesc on their own, while others struggle to have time with themselves.
We should shower our self with love nevertheless.
Hello everyone, thank you for reading through. I am so happy for your support, hope to see you around here way often

Happy 4th to me. .
Sometimes, even the smallest of things would become our greatest source of joy and happiness in life. I find joy in the company of my close friends and dear family. And I feel happy that despite all, I still get to enjoy life and that I was granted work temporarily. Despite feeling like a complete loser in the past, every small achievements make me feel such fulfillment in life, that I barely felt when I was growing up.
Cheers to my 4th month of staying here in read. I always look forward to grow even more, in this platform. It has given me chances in life, to make a passive income and new friends I'd never thought I'd ever have here.
Though I barely had new subscribers lately, I am still happy that even in my published posts that I had several absences, Rusty did find sometime to visit my works. Thank you very much green bot, for making me so happy. And I wanna say sorry to my friends here, I've not been able to read or write comments lately because I seemed busy these days, and I just feel really tired just every time I get home. I really do miss our endless replies in the comments, haha.
And now, it's been awhile. It's 4 days since I've last written.
Since our station at work is moved to a next town,
I could barely have time to write even if I wanted to, because I get so distracted from the tiredness that I felt in traveling back and forth back to where I'm currently staying. I even wanted to read and write comments at work but, I'd really get busy especially that last week, we were finalizing some of our reports for submission at the regional office of PSA.
Then, I went home yesterday, later in the afternoon as soon as I finished my duties.
It was then another tiring 2 hours drive home, from my home in the current town that I'm staying with. But rather, I am excited to go home this time since we'll be going out of town for a weekend. A friend from work also accompanied me, since this is his first time to tour around Southern Leyte.
We often mentioned about it,
But never had official plans with my friends since last year, so that every thing feels unplanned and that it will not get spoiled. And thank God, it didn't.
I woke up early, so that I could buy my share of food as my pledge for our little outing, and it was grilled pork. We had it cooked before we went our way to travel.
As soon as everything was set, we went our way earlier and came to our destination at 10AM in the morning. We were supposed to be at the beach but the one went to earlier was a total wreck as it was hit by Typhoon Odette. So we then proceeded to somewhere that has freshwater falls and pools. And luckily my friends enjoyed the place that I've suggested.
We've had our stay here for a awhile, and we have moved around trying to enjoy what the place has to offer. The falls, the pools of different depths, and the water itself is just so cold.
We really had a fun experience, but we went our way back at around 3PM at noon because we will be visiting another tourists spot at Liloan, So. Leyte.
This was also a fun experience, as we get to feel excited with the view around this area. The sea is just beautiful, with different shades of color. We surely had plenty of pictures here.
But after we got back from here,
We've had a short stop at town, and then went our way back to our home at 4:20 PM. And thanks God, we've reached home at 6:20PM so we had a travel time of roughly two hours.
Closing Thoughts:
I hope that this still counts as a great thing, I am so happy that I've been able to reach 4 months here in read and I get to share the great in my day for today. I am more than thankful to the platform as my savings here really helped me enjoy life lately. And I am also grateful that I had a great moment with friends.
Thanks for reading, hoping you enjoyed this one somehow.

A fun day, with work friends
Hello everyone, I am finally here once again. How was your day these days? I've been busy lately that I can only publish a few articles in a week.
I was supposed to write this last Sunday, but never had the time to do so, as I was so occupied myself. As it was a birthday celebration of my workmate's nephew, and we got invited days before.
Since it was a sunday,
I was not able to go to the beach earlier with them, as I am still at my town and my friends are all from Baybay City, and I am still going to attend a church service before I could attend to the birthday celebration. I've had a bit of hesitation on going, because I want to stay longer at home to relax but I find it a waste if I cannot attend, because there will be lechon hahaha.
So I first attended church at morning, and it was finished at 11AM in the morning. I then prepared my stuff, coz' I planned to head back straight to where I'm staying at for work. But I got delayed, and was able to leave home around 30 -35 mins. before 1PM. And I was the one who arrived late, at 1:20Pm well better late than later.
Then we had karaoke fun time the whole afternoon. But I didn't sing with them as it is not my thing, haha. I feel uncomfortable hearing my voice on mic. I just sang along with them if I find the the song quite familiar.
As they are busy singing and looking for songs to sing next, I went near the shore and took beautiful photos of the beach. As it was an approaching sunset.
I planned to go for a swim, earlier when I arrived but then the sun came too strong. I don't want to go to work looking burned under the heat of the sun, haha.
Then I came back to my friends, and rejoined in their videoke time.
At this time, it was already getting hotter. But I just stayed there in place, as they are still enjoying their karaoke time.
At around 6PM,
We have headed back, as it was already dark and we still have work for yesterday. And there are reports that we still need to finish.
Then Monday came,
Yesterday, we went early for work. And I found out that I will be stationed at a remote barangay, while my good friend will be stationed at a High School just at town. But it's fine, I told my superior earlier last week that I am okay if ever I'll be deployed to a farther barangay.
I never knew the situation of that certain barangay at first, but indeed it was a bumpy ride on a road with a lot of ups and downs like literally. It was one heck of a ride, I can see the steep cliffs on the side of the road and that travel lasted for an hour from the highway.
When I arrived at the area,
I was surprised to see that there were no registrants waiting for us, only to find out that they weren't informed of their schedule for National ID Registration. Then, the assigned barangay official for that day were taking rounds in their area to announce for those who were still not able to register. And gladly I was still able to register a lot of people.
And at 3PM yesterday, I was able to go home early since there we're only few clients in the afternoon.
Closing Thoughts:
I never really thought that I would be having great times these days. I am so blessed that I have great colleagues at work and that they are just fun to be with.
I never felt different with them, and their vibes are just great. I always look forward to having a great day with them always.
To my fellow readers, I thank you endlessly for the support you've given on my drafts. and to Rusty, thank you for visiting my drafts even in my absences here in read.

Relaxed and a cleared mind
Hello everyone, to every readers out there. It's been a while and I've been absent for two days straight. But I was surprised that I was still able to make a bit of rewards in last draft, thank you Rusty haha.
I've been struggling to make time to make an article lately, I could barely squeeze some time to write here. My work now is very time consuming as I get to travel from places each day and I feel tired as soon as I get home.
So how are you these days?
Here in the PH, politics is still a hot topic these days. A lot of people has not gotten over on the results but I could care less for them as I am busy at work these days and as long as they are just voicing their opinions and not causing havocs in the country, then it's fine.
And now, speaking of work, I can really feel the tiredness everyday. Hahaha. Even though I wanted this so badly. But that's fine, we've been able to de-stress the other days and this was how it went.
May 12, 2022
We were having a great day at work, and in fact it was a very great as I got to register lots of clients in the National ID system. And that the Brgy. Officials on our assigned brgy. Are so kind and accomodating. We had snacks, and free lunch all over our stay in their Brgy. Hall as we registered their constituents. But it was a bit sad as we were retrieving our equipments early since we will be transporting it to the next scheduled area. And I was on my way home, to where I'm currently staying. I tried to invite my friend as we are staying in the same house, that we would be eating out for dinner at the town's Baywalk for a change in atmosphere. But acted on impulse, we agreed that we will be strolling to a town next to us and rather go that town's Baywalk.
It was just time for sunset, and we were sitting and taking pictures of the sunset while waiting for another friend of ours, who is my teammate at work.
As soon as my friend came, we went strolling around the Baywalk, and even went to the children's park to have a few snaps.
We sure had a blast, and we had dinner together that night. And we had heavy talks about life and forgot time, we went home like 8PM in the evening and thank God, we arrived safely.
May 13, 2022
It was then, another day of work but I started off feeling a bit stressed since it was a very hot day. I was feeling uncomfortable all over. But when afternoon came, I was feeling a bit better. Because it rained very heavy and the feeling of heat has been gone. And it gave us time to draft our necessary reports for work. And we weren't too busy for yesterday because the weather condition was just bad. And we were able to call it a day at work earlier.
We went to town before we travelled home, as it is last day of work for the week and we got a bit of a bond as a team.
After this, we went home and I was feeling great that it did not rain, or elese it would've been a dripping travels haha.
For today,
I was able to give a bit of time for myself, after I've done my laundry early in the morning. And after lunch, I was just laying in bed and sleeping the whole afternoon and that's it. I think I deserve some time for myself, not being too bothered about lots of things.
Closing Thoughts:
As of now, I'm about to sleep early because its been such a week work. Hoping that I can finally have a glimpse of the art of doing time management. I really missed the times when I can be present almost everyday, but now it takes me time and focus to even finish one draft.
Thank you for reading through my random thoughts, my friends. I hope it you enjoyed it even for a bit.
It was my Mum's birthday
How everyone, how was your day? Surely I became very busy and my mind is so occupied the past few days, I truly missed you guys huhu.
I had a tough and tiring travels for yesterday and today, this was how it went.
I chose to wake up early.
It was May 10 yesterday, my Mum's birthday. I greeted her a happy birthday as soon as I saw her early in the morning, but I told her that I might not be able to come home later since my current job is kilometers away from home, and it's an hour and half travel. I prepared my stuff, clothes and other things in a bag as I will be staying in my uncle's house temporarily since it is way nearer at our work. Then my brother came early in the morning, to celebrate with our mother's birthday and I heard that my other siblings will be going home too.
But I chose to go to work, than be absent haha I was just getting started then I'd be making absences, that's kind of bad I think hahaha. But as I arrived in Hindang almost 2 hours later, we immediately went to where barangay we are assigned foe registration and I was bored since there were less people to register, then my camera keeps getting disconnected, such hassle
I was stressed for a bit, but then we got home early since we only had few registrants. And I decided that I'd just go home since I knew that it would be fun since my older siblings took their time and went home.
It was then another almost 2 hours travel
I can finally feel that my body felt sore, my arms and legs were aching, even my back. But I felt very happy for when I saw my mother and I was happy that we had a little family celebration.
Happy Birthday my dear Mum... We are still incomplete in the photo as my 2 brothers and our father was still busy at something. But we surely enjoyed our night with the fam, they even had a karaoke night. But I was busy with my series so I was just laying at bed, you know I can barely have time these days, haha. And for the night, I was sleeping uncomfortable since my brother slept on my room and I slept on the sofa bed in our sala.
Earlier this morning,
I was feeling sore all over my body, I think it's because of the long distance travels. But I had no choice since I'll still be reporting for duty today. But I told my superior that I might be a bit late for this morning but I was glad that she understood. And as soon as I reached our station, I immediately had clients to serve.
We felt like having a bond in our lunchtime, and we are so thankful that our assigned barangay gave us a very sumptuous lunch.
We were then able to register until 2PM for this afternoon, since the next barangay that we are registering contacts and helped in preparing our equipments into their barangay.
We still assisted them along the way to their barangay, to make our equipments were transferred safely before we told them we'll be back for tomorrow.
Author's Note
These days have been way hard for me to look for extra time to write. But I am happy that despite being busy, I was happy that I had a very great time with my family, and friends at work.
Thank you friends for taking your time always in reading through my works, you are a blessing to me from God.

How my elections went
Hello everyone, how is everything? It has been long day for me.
Today has finally come, the most awaited national event has finally come. The time when we give out our obligations to the government. Today, is a brand new day that we get to choose new leaders who will lead our our to prosperity and peace. It's the day of the National Elections.
I was feeling alot of excitement for today. I really can't wait to give our my support to my chosen candidates. As much as I wanted to come earlier, I have not made it to come earlier like my friend. It was way more convenient that she was able to come home immediately after she has casted her votes. But sad thing is that, the opposite happened. I've been stuck for a long time, 4 hours total of waiting time.
And here's what happened,
Me and my sister came to our respective precinct, as it where we will be going to cast out our votes. I was so excited and hopeful that I'll be able to come vote and be able to go afterwards. Turned out that the queue on our Precinct is already long even when it is still 8AM. It was even shocked that it was longer than what I've expected. I just found our that there are 5 Precinct Nos. assigned on the precinct where my name was listed. I had waited patiently as I thought that the line would just shorten in no time.
But no, fate rather told us that we would be waiting for like hours in the queue. I check my time at minutes past 10AM, and I've been standing for like 2 hours since I've waited. And I can't believe that I had to wait for like almost 2 hours once again, before I actually made it to the entrance of our assigned precinct.
I felt a bit shy entering, as I saw that the electoral board assigned in our precinct was a teacher of mine in high school. But her mind seemed busy, and she doesn't seem to recognize me, I think it's because of our face mask. I was then given a ballot for voting and was told that I will be starting as soon as someone stands up and proceeds to submit their shaded ballots. I was rather slow in shading, it been awhile since I've last done it, and it was when I took my Board Exams almost 3 years ago. I made sure I made the correct way in shading, as it might damage and affect my vote counts. I then became nervous on the very first circle that I shaded, as it exceeded a bit of space outside. But I was glad that I really made it and I was about to submit my shaded ballot. I was rather nervous then, I thought that my ballot would be rejected but it was successfully read by the machine, and I check my receipt of votes for my candidates, thank God it matched with my choice Candidates. I then proceeded to the exit and an Electoral Support Staff placed a drop of indelible ink, as a symbol that I've already casted my votes, and I've finished it at around 12 Noon. Finally after 4 hours of waiting, I can finally eat my lunch.
I felt very ecstatic
That I was able to be a part of this historic event. I was so proud to share a story of a picture of my inked finger on my social media account.
I was on my way home, and drove my motorcycle but then I remembered, I forgot my bag at the precinct. I rushed back to retrieve it, thank God nothing was lost.
Now I'm home,
I really took the time to eat lunch and drink some water to replenish myself some energy. It has been a tough morning rather. I even got caught in drizzles of rain while I was waiting for our queue earlier. So, for the afternoon, I spent time laying around since it was not a busy day anyways and was just watching series and I enjoyed it, hehe.
Closing thoughts
To my fellow Filipino readers, was the event today worth the effort? I can truly say that I am happy I was able to vote for the 2nd time around for the National Elections. I was able to do my part in the continuing change that we all longed for. The very 1st time I'll be sharing my presidential candidate here, and he is Bongbong Marcos.
May the best candidate win, and I hope there will be peace as the transmitting of votes are still ongoing.
Thank you my dear readers, hope you are having a great day.

Long weekend and Mother's Day
Hi everyone. It's quite common to hear and read certain greetings from children all around here in PH. Today is such a special day, for those who really took the responsibility of raising us with utmost love and care. The one who has and will always be there for us through the thickest and thin in life, abundance and struggles. And that is our Mother.
I feel so happy I'd get to have a simple celebration with my family on such a great day. It's the days of a long weekend and I really enjoy the luxury of a free time while getting to spend time with people I love.
Our day started simple,
Since it's Sunday, we woke up early and people in the house we're busy with themselves. I then proceeded in doing my laundry first while waiting for my turn to take a bath. Then, we ate breakfast and before 9AM came we already left for church. Today, we had a great message and we feel so blessed as we are leaving church and on our way back home. It reminded us to make us to make the best choices about the upcoming elections, which is tomorrow.
Then, as I am free since I've already finished my laundry, I went back to laying in bed as I won't be getting it more often for this week, haha. And I was back to scrolling in my social media and then late afternoon, I just decided to kill time and tried to watch the movie that I've downloaded yesterday. It turned great but it had a sad ending, not all endings are happy I guess.
And now, since it's already evening,
The kitchen just got busier, and I knew my mother is gonna prepare us some dinner.
We, me and my sister drove to town to buy ingredients for pancit and my Mother did proceed to cook it as soon as we reached home.
She also marinated some chicken for barbecue earlier afternoon.
And now, we are about to enjoy our dinner now. I am blessed and happy that even in these simplest things. Though we find it a bit moment of silence because it had a blackout the entire time we had lunch, hahaha. When will this electric service provider ever give out reminders that there is an emergency blackout.
Now, even though,
I have not been the great son, just as my older brothers did, I am more than glad that God gave me a mother who is so understanding and full of wisdom in life. There's a certain point in my life that I've felt like I've almost become a good-for-nothing child, but she chose to continuously guide me into the good in life, even though she has been feeling upset with me already. I am so happy that she still supported me in my dreams as a took college. That's when I did my best, and I managed to graduate on time then pass my board Examination in just one take, thanks God.

This day may have seemed to be just an ordinary day all over the globe, but this day has meant a lot to us, as we dedicate it to that someone we are truly indebted with, our entire life. My mum has been the best thing that happened to me, and I will always be her youngest baby, even though I already near my silver year. I just hope that she won't tired of my rash decisions in life sometimes. I really wish that we are still together when I get more successful in life, and I hope time will grant that one wish in my heart.
I want to take this moment to say thank you for the support that you've given to me, my dear fellow readers.
And once again, I would want to greet a Happy Mother's Day to all of the loving Mother's and the ones who stood as the mothers out there, lots of love to all.

Time Management has become a challenge
Hello to everyone in the read community. How was your weekend? Here I am once again, I finally managed to squeeze my time making it into here. I have been absent for two days, and I just can't get my mind off from this beautiful platform. I just felt tired, as much as I really wanted to write but being lazy got the best of me.
Now, please allow me to redeem a bit of myself.
Yesterday was indeed a test of patience in work, as well as our health. It took us time to start in our operations as we needed to relocate our equipments off to a certain barangay. We were able to reach the barangay later in the morning, but the sun has already been so present as the surroundings really got hotter as we rode our motorcycles, and became sweating as we stopped. It was such a hassle for me, as I tended to sweat more than my teammates ever did. And I need to wait a bit more as I still have no table to assemble my equipment. But as soon as the table came, I immediately assembled my registration kit. Proceeded in testing, and accepted clients into the system. There's a bit of a problem that I have been facing with my kit, but I seemed to get the hang of it and now I can flawlessly register my clients and very soon after a few months, they'll be having their very own National ID soon.
Then, it was time for lunch but since the barangay has not provided food for our lunch, we chose to go at the town center to look for a place to eat and it was on a fried chicken stall. The weather was so hot, as it was a typical summer day afternoon and I had no choice but to wear a jacket for myself for protection against the rays of the sun.
And as we returned back to our current station, we did not become busy as there certainly no one left to register in that particular area and we then proceeded to retrieve our equipments back to their luggage. And that was also the time when climate change struck, it suddenly rained so heavy then minutes later it became sunny and it was hotter. Since the LGU retrieved our equipments earlier, I bid my supervisor farewell as we still have a long way to travel back to our home with my friend, and it was a 2 hour trip from ours.
It was indeed a tiring day for me that I barely had the energy to write for last evening.
But then for today, we were glad since it's my friends birthday, the one in the picture earlier. She invited me lunch, and I did come over. It was just a simple lunch, but it was indeed great that she was able to spend quality time with herself and her family. Later on, I went home and watch a movie as I have nothing to do at home. But as I was still thinking about when I could write so I finally made it this evening.
Author's Note
I still have much to improve myself. I could have my mind pre-occupied over things that I shouldn't be stressed with in the first place. And in the following days ahead, I hope I can finally manage my time, to be able to make it here more often. I missed my daily interactions here. Hoping that I could come up with a sound plan on how I could make myself effective to have time efficiency in things that I do.

First day, first stress
Being in a phase of adjustment is quite normal especially when you are just new to something. Doing certain things you've done in the past may seemed familiar, but getting a chance to do it once again feels like you need to refresh something before actually getting a task right once again.
Hi fellow readers, it's another day and it remarks a new opportunity for us. I really felt blessed as I just got an answered prayer and now, I am finally starting to to indulge myself into this thing that I've asked for.
Now since I was offered a job,
I really did my best, for once in a while. I slept a bit earlier last night, yey feeling excited, at around 9:30PM and set my alarm on 4:50AM the next day enough for me to prepare for travel at 6AM. I then prepared myself, I cooked on the rice cooker and then took a bath. After that, I prepared clothes just enough to cover our two days duty for this week since we won't be having weekends unlike the old times. Then I ate breakfast, and minutes then my friend chatted that she is already at a certain bakeshop waiting for me as we will be traveling now to our work station. I really did my best, but we were able to start travelling at nearly 7AM haha, so much for the preparation. It was a bit hassle traveling earlier as it has been drizzling, but gladly it didn't rain.
Though I was a bit sad,
I made a short stop at a city to withdraw some cash. And yes, I have converted some of my bch savings into PHP as I will it as my allowance while working. And after I'm done acquirong cash for my pocket money, we immediately fleed off to a friend's house, stopped for a bit and travelled of to a municipality where we'll be working, at Hindang, Leyte.
We arrived just barely before it reached 9AM in the morning. We've coordinated with the local government officials and headed off to a barangay where we are headed to register. I really can't contain my excitement as it has been 5 months since I last operated, I assembled my equipment. But as I was trying to test my peripherals, my excitement suddenly vanished and I felt stressed all over. I just found out the my equipment has some faulty parts and I really had no idea earlier as to what could be causing it. And later on, I knew that cord in which it connects to the camera was faulty and there is something I need to do in particular to make it work. Can't believe I had to wait for an hour to make my equipment fully operational, hahaha.
As soon as it became okay, I have started accepting clients. But then, I was only able to entertain a few people for the entire duration I've been operational maybe because other people have been finished with the registration process.
It was then time to call it a day
At 3PM, since there were no clients coming in the whole afternoon of waiting, we've decided to disassemble and retrieve our equipment back to its luggage. We've told the barangay officials we'll be going home, but before that we left our equipments at the municipal hall before we head home. I asked a friend to stay at their place temporarily as I still need to look for a place to stay later on.
Author's Note
Everything then was fine. But there was a bit of a thing that bothered me earlier. As my workmates seemed to have a bit misunderstanding with each other over certain things. I did feel bothered, but I hope that it will be okay for tomorrow.
Hey, how was your day? I wanna thank you for your time in reading, may God bless you.

The unexpected came
Life is indeed full of surprises. You are gonna face lots of news in life. Some of them are pleasing, while some of them may dishearten us.
I have been feeling empty and a bit down lately. Maybe because I felt like I am barely achieving anything in real life. But I could still feel happy being here in read, every moment I spent here makes me feel alive as I have lively interactions with users. I still have things to deal in life, thats why I still feel sad. And I think its quite normal to be sad over certain things sometime.
I was just having an ordinary day,
I was bound to have an ordinary day in our house. My mother will be out of town since she will be processing her Driver's License Renewal, so I will be left with my father.
I was just trying to have an other day, thinking about what I should write. And around 30mins. After 8AM, I was able to receive a certain chat. I never knew who it was, I was uncertain of the profile picture. It is from someone that I don't talk way too often on messenger. It came from the PSA Staff that handled our team months ago.
I found it funny myself, I immediately said yes even though I was uncertain about what kind of job our previous office would offer me. I thought I'll be working alongside the hired personnel assigned in doing fieldwork, turns out it is about Philsys, my previous work. Though it is not the same position as I originally had, but I gladly accepted it as it is an opportunity that I've longing to have. I never thought I'd reach 5 months of doing job applications and none of hardwork in my ventures have seemed to bear fruit, then suddenly an opportunity knocks, gotta be decisive and grab it while its there.
I was asked to recommend a colleague, as the office is in need of two extra personnel. i happily invited my friend who was my teammate in Philsys before. I am glad that she accepted my invitation and we will be heading out soon. Hehe.
And we met just before this evening,
I was not able to meet my friend with regards to the job, as I became busy earlier both in the morning and in the afternoon since my father is busy doing repairs in the shop.
Even though my team was consisted of 6 personnel including myself, she's the one I became very close with as she is hard-working and is willing to sacrifice her time to wait when I become busy at times and goes home at 6PM beyond. I am blessed to have a teammate and a friend in her. And for now, this'll be the 3rd time we'll be hired together, hahaha friendship goals.
Closing Thoughts:
I am finally moving to a brand new chapter in life. Less time laying in bed, and a bit more busier days indeed. I am thankful that God heared my prayers that I could work even if it's a temporary one. And also, I'm thankful for this as I could get a lot more time to hang out with my old friends in work at Baybay City as we will be included with them once again. Hoping the days ahead will be fine ones indeed.
Thank you my dear readers who are always supporting my drafts. May God bless y'all.

First travel on a first monday
Hello everyone, we are finally moving on to the 2nd day of May. We are a few days closer to an important day of our country, PH, and that is the Local and National Elections. Never thought that there would still be a lot of people who will commute from a place to another place, but I forgot thay it's monday so that's it, some might have important matters to attend to.
What made me want to travel for today?
Since there was a lot of landslides that occured the past few weeks, I've been hesitant in going out of town lately. I've only gone out last week to Sogod, a town south from ours, and now off to Tacloban City, the capitol city that sits at the north ahead of our town in the province. And since my nephew is on the process to acquire important documents, his Transcript so that he can transfer to a state college in their town much nearer at their home and I will keep him company as I feel a bit familiar already with the Capitol City and my nephew can barely speak any Waray-Waray language, haha.
We planned on going early but we woke up at 6AM haha, then we took a bath and ate breakfast afterwards. (I don't like travelling on an empty stomach, it might cause me discomfort while travelling haha) And then, we headed to an Intersection point of our town to wait for a van heading to Tacloban City. And gladly, we able to start travelling minutes after 7AM, an hour and minutes later we've arrived at our destination.
We walked a few minutes from a road intersection before we actually reached here. Since it was still 8AM, the sun was still not that hot. And as we entered the school premises, we immediately went to the Student's Lounge to retrieve my nephew's clearance and then moved to the Cashier's office to have his clearance signed. But I was left in shock as we had to wait for like a week for the School Dean's signature and because of that, the process on acquiring my nephew's transcripts will surely take longer, way longer than I've expected. I was shocked even more that it'll take 3 months before his actual Transcripts can be released, and after minutes I mustered confidence to speak with certain officials of the school, I helped my nephew in pestering in Registrar's Office to ask for like a Certification that will allow my nephew to be enrolled to a new school while waiting for his old transcripts. We were instructed that we can definitely ask for a certification but there's a schedule that we should wait. And suggested that we should ask for an evaluation form instead that will show my nephew's current grades. After that, we certainly had no choice left and after we had conversations we have left the school premises. To our frustrations we walked around the city for minutes, we looked for fastfood chain Mang Inasal and ate our lunch earlier. I can feel the stress I had earlier we're drowned as were eating.
Minutes after we enjoyed our lunch, we've already decided to just go home as we don't have extra money to be strolling around the city, and also it was a very hot day. But my nephew made a short stop, as we were looking for the transpo to go home.
He bought pasalubong for his younger siblings, how thoughtful haha.
Author's Notes
We arrived safe at home at 2PM, and I relaxed myself at home. I can really feel hassle in traveling, especially that I am a person that sweats a lot. Summer heat has been making me uncomfortable especially in the city. I don't know, if I'll ever go with my nephew the next time he processes his papers
So my dear friends, how was the start of your week? I really felt a bit disappointed with the school processes earlier but oh well, the system in every institutions varies from one another, and certainly we have no control over it.
Thank you always for your time dear friends, hope your Monday is a blessing.

May this day remark a fresh start
Hello everyone, today is officially a brand new start for the month of May. I have so much to be excited about, as this month will surely open doors to a brand new opportunity.
Now my friend, do you have any goals to attain for this month?
Well certainly, I do have goals but I am not quite sure If I could attain them all in the first place
One is to write an article everyday.
Two - Make new friends in the platform
Three - is to prepare myself for the upcoming Teacher Applications
Goals...
One - Write an article for a day
Honestly, it has been one of my the goals that I've tried so hard to attain for last few months. But time often does limit me as I feel like I run out of thoughts of what to write. In my first two, I really struggled to keep up as I felt unmotivated to go on back when I was like an extremely novice writer. Imagine, in my 1st months of journey here, I was only able to write 12 articles starting mid January up to the end of February. That was when I did not still get the hang on how to catch Rusty's magical touches. On March, I tried my best but I only made 18 drafts as I was busy back then in my job applications but didn't make it to the final call, hahaha rejections. But that was the time that I really found the love to write even the most random thoughts and eventually I made lots of friends here in read. For the last month, I was able to write with the least absences and I feel so happy for myself and I really call it an achievement. Thanks to it, I've been able to save a small amount while having some to spend for our needs sometimes. **And** starting today, I'll try my best to write atleast 26 articles for this month or even exceed it. Wish me luck in this goal of mine, hahaha
Two - Make new friends in the platform.
In real life, when I tend to like befriend people, I do have this feeling close to other people kind of trait. And it helped meet and make close friends with the ones I have today. But since this is a virtual world, I did struggle a bit as I started. I had doubts in the drafts that I've written and to the comments that I've given to other users. I was even anxious to even read others' comments into my pieces. But as I kept going and tried to persevere, I then found out that everyone is spreading good and positive vibes and I did have to worry about everything as long as I follow the rules and not commit any violations. And with constant interactions and comments, I eventually made friends or rather close friends here in read. I've learned a lot from them, their articles and they're comments are the ones that motivate me most to hangout here in read. And for the upcoming days, I wish to make more friends. Can't wait to have such a lovely interactions with you all.
Three - Prepare myself for the upcoming Teacher Applications.
It is through the start of this day, that I felt excited and nervous at the same time. As our application process will soon start by the middle of this month, if it's not postponed, and I did not prepare myself that much the last month, hahaha. This is my 2nd time around to apply, and the following days would surely become busier days, as we will be preparing lots of documents not to mention we still have to prepare in advance for our Teaching Demonstration and the English Proficiency Test. Becoming a teacher is quite tough, but certainly I had no choice as I chose to pursue this when I was in college and I have grown to love it. I just hope that I will really do my best not to cram in the last minute as it will be a mess, haha.
Author's Notes
These are the goals that I will try to achieve for this month. I don't like to write so many goals as I don't want to feel any disappointments when the month ends. Hoping that I'll get a fruitful days ahead, endless thanks for giving some time to read my friend. May God bless you always.

Diligence really pays off
Hello to all readers out there, we've finally reached the end of the month. April has been a journey of ups and lots of downs. The downs I meant are the tragedies that we've recently experienced in the neighboring towns but thanks God we are already healing from the trauma it caused, and we are happier now with our lives.
Also, this day remarks a great achievement that I have made for myself and quite possibly the other users here as well. I know this ain't very much, but I hope it could somehow inspire novice writers such as me.
I felt shocked,
I wasn't expecting that I'd be able to accumulate as big as this. This month has truly been a blessing for me. With diligence, I've been able to write 23 articles for this month, and this will be the 24th **one. I'd really call this a flex as a novice writer**. I've been able to achieve $80 for my hardwork here and support from other generous users.
In my journey as a 3 months user here in the platform, I really felt happy that somehow I feel the growth that I was longing to having back when I just started writing here.
Now I have 50 subscribers, who constantly gives me support in every drafts that I've created here. They are the ones who help me to be fond of interaction here. And thank them a lot for the interpersonal traits that I've developed as a writer here, everyday I get to meet new users who just as kind as the other users.
This is such a humbling experience
I can't help but look back, to when I just started when I was just new to this platform and I barely knew what to do. Weeks went by and later on, I discovered the marvels of the platform. I really did my best to make new friends with other users when we exchange comments and I am happy that I've met the kindest and most generous users I've ever known. They are the ones who always gives me out advice in every thing I do here in read, and they also give me upvotes and it really meant a lot to me.
To all of the writers out there, especially the new and the disheartened ones. Just do your best, strive to write per day as read really takes a lot of dedication before we can bear the fruits of what we've written here. Also, we should consider all of the rules here, it's very crucial that we don't violate any rules. And that we should be open to the possibility of friendships here. The users of whom we made comments will become our friend after several interactions, and through that we can continuously learn not only about read, but also about real life.
Author's Note
I am indeed grateful for this month, as it has taught me a lot. Hoping that more opportunities arise for tomorrow. And I'd still try to write as much as often. Hoping you, my fellow users, would strive hard as much or even more than I could.
Once again, to the most supportive users on my drafts, an endless thanks to you all, thank you giving me a happier journey here in read.
May the blessings overflow for all of us. God bless.

A friday that got busier
Hi everyone, what a splendid Friday that we have right here. It's been a quite awhile and I just realized that we are already a day at the end of the month. I can say that I am blessed and I truly am happy about my progress here in read.
And just wanna ask, how Friday for you?
It has been a long tiring day for today with the family. It's been awhile since our Repair shop had this much of customers as it has been quiet the past few days. And for today, I did have to lay around as my father had continuous work, doing repairs on a motorcycle to another.
Yeah, I was born to a family with great love for motorcycles and I can say that I'm rather the odd one amongst my brothers, haha. I mean I can drive motorcycles but I never inherited and I was never interested in learning on how to do maintenance on motorcycles as my two elder brothers could.
Now back for today's happening, our shop was filled with customers until late afternoon. We are so thankful as this is such a blessing as this doesn't come too often, there are times that we only have 1 or 2 customers for a day and that's it.
So this is my nephew, a mechanic in our shop. He's been busy with this one as it had certain issues with the upper parts of the engine and usually this kind of troubleshooting takes hours, and especially that the original spare parts need in repairs are not available in our town, that's why the owner of this unit had travelled to a City next to us just to have the work finished for today. For the time being, he is performing other repairing tasks while waiting. And then, he's finished in assembling the engine parts just before it gets dark and the owner will come back for tomorrow and get his motorcycle since it's not finished in placing back all of its outer parts back into place.
And there's my Father, he is also busy with his last customer for today. He is not a versatile mechanic as he can only do repairs on the outer parts of the motorcycle and he can't perform basic troubleshooting on electrical wirings and engine problems. But there is one thing he is well versed with, and that is wheel rim alignment. He earns a decent amount of labor this task, especially for today that there are lots of customers with this kind of concern.
And for me?
I am on standby, and I am acting as their assistant if they are in need of arms or tools for support. I also help in looking for spare parts that would be needed in their repairs and I help in enlisting the labor that they've accumulated for that day. All in all it was a tiring day, but it sure was worth it.
Closing thoughts
Some of you might wonder, why I haven't considered in working as such in a repair shop. One is that, I really don't have any passion in pursuing this kind of work. I find it way too tiring and it takes a lot of focus and concentration to get a certain task done. And two, is that I certainly have love for teaching, but I'd consider it a nightmare if I'd be assigned to teach an Automotive Class, hahaha. I really don't share the talents that my brothers had.
To my fellow read users, thank you for your consistent support and love. We are finally reaching the end of the month with so much blessings. May God bless us even more.

A day of blessings and treats
A fantastic Thursday to everyone, just wanna ask how was your day? I can say that I particularly had a splendid day. There are things worth celebrating and I just can't contain such happiness that I've feeling.
It's not something that could happen way too often, that is why I've developed a grateful heart. I am certainly thankful of the certain experiences that I had in life, be it a good or a bad thing. And luckily today, for today most of the things that happened are all good things.
How was your day?
Mine was certainly a great one. As I've noticed in my account lately,
I've already reached 50 subscribers. I am so thankful for the support writers here in read have been showering unto me. I never thought that I'd be as diligent as I never thought I could. I know this is ain't a grand thing, but I am always thankful for every progress of growth that I've been attaining here. This platform surely taught me so much in life.
**And certainly this afternoon,**
My nephew has visited us, as he went to Tacloban City yesterday to acquire certain documents as he is transferring to a new school and he stayed with us, until for this day. As usual, we are playing our game Mobile Legends from morning till lunchtime. And before he came home for this afternoon, we've agreed to have a treat for ourselves. We don't get to hang out much. Might as well grab the chance while it's there.
There ain't not much of snack houses here in our town, but the milktea here is just fine and yum. We surely enjoyed our food and our stay here.
After enjoying our snacks for half an hour, my nephew has already asked if we can go home so that he can travel back to his hometown to which I agreed.
**As soon as he left,**
I tried playing Mobile Legends on my own, and I've noticed that it is 4PM and it's time to claim our rewards on a certain event. I then claimed my shares and with the rewards I've accumulated I was able to buy a favorite skin of my main hero in Mobile Legends
I'd consider it a gift to myself, to enjoy my games more. Usually, in an ordinary day this Skin would cost $17.18. It's quite pricey and I would definitely not spend this big of an amount in a game. But thanks to an event for this month, I've been able to buy this for at ₱1 only. I know myself, that I am not a good player myself, but even this makes me happy, a lot. Certain things such us this won't occur quite often.
After I went off from a game,
I then decided to visit my friends in town as I was not busy at home. And I also want to check what rewards they've claimed as they are also playing the same game as a I do. But we never had a chance to play just yet, as our High School friends also came at their house. We grabbed the chance and climbed up to their rooftop and have quite a short bonding.
It really felt just like old times, it was such a great day. And that the weather was just fine. We had a bit of a lovely time together. But our friends came home early, as they remembered that they still have things to buy. I remained a bit longer with my friends and we had a game together before I came home.
Author's Note
Certain days in life, blessings just come when you least expect them. Treats and bonding moments are always worth cherishing. Through time, we are growing. And the relationships we've mustered with the important people in our life would certainly contribute to ourselves significantly. Be a blessing to someone. And always choose to be kind and grateful.
Hi dear readers, I thank you once again for the support that you have generously given unto me. Hoping that more blessings would come to us very soon.

Reminders from Mother Nature
Hello my fellow readers, how was your Wednesday? For me it was such a relaxed day. As it wasn't such a busy day for me, and I was just in bed, watching some series, the Whole Afternoon. But I can say that it was totally worth it. I felt like was literally smiling at every episodes and that even now, I am having the feeling of hopes in having a chance of finding that one love. It really made me feel inspired that I should still be living life, even though I've been feeling like a sore loser since then.
But for now, enough of the imaginations
There are certain issues that are considerably serious here in our town, Mahaplag, Leyte. I even find it too frightening. Who wouldn't be scared if the news came out like this.
It was late last night when we've seen this news at Facebook. It is indeed scary, not to mention that we are recovering from the horrors that Typhoon Agaton had left behind. Such news are so frightening and saddening at the same time especially for those who are residing in the barangays affected. As they are instructed to have a forced evacuation to prevent possible loss of life, once a landslide would occur. This is also bad news, as this barangay in the pictures shown above, is the intersecting roads that leads to certain towns, and if ever that a landslide would inevitably happen, all travelers would be advised to take round trips from alternate routes in the province.
And also, since last night we've been feeling scared throughout the evening. There were heavy rains, and that thunderclaps were all over. There was even last night that a a very loud roar of thunder was heard, it may have awakened those who were already asleep. And then earlier this morning, we found out that many of our neighbors had damaged televisions. I think the thunder from last night, as most of them we still watching shows even when they could hear thunderclaps from the sky.
Author's Notes
All of the recent happenings could be a warning from mother nature. We should always find time in doing good to other people, and to mother nature as well. We are unaware of what is going to happen in the future, and that we have very little to no control over natural incidents. The very least that we can do is to adhere to preventions, such as the actions shown yesterday that people are evacuating to put them away from harm even before it happens. And also, may this be a wake up call for everyone to give some time and love for the welfare of mother nature.
Thanks for your time dear readers, hope you are doing well and you are perfectly safe.

Priceless and worth keeping
In life, there are many blessings that take many forms. Most of us perceive them to be material things, be it money or any material things that never fails to grant us temporary happiness. True, I cannot deny the fact that I still need money as I am still bound to buy certain necessities, but there are always something that can grant you happiness to your soul and that's something that even money cannot buy. And that is a treasure, called friendship.
This day, remarks a very memorable day that I'll probably cherish for the rest of my life, we just got a chance to have a get together with friends I had when we still studying in college.
This circle of mine came way unexpected. I had my group of friends in college, but I ended up being with new people when we were on our journey in a Review Center in preparation for the Board Exam last Sept. 2019, and that was our chance to befriend them, my old classmates in college as well as people whom I am not very familiar before.
Almost of us had the same traits, chill and oftentimes goofy even during the sessions. I do not feel too pressured that time as we had lots of time laughing after every session that we had. And there is this friend of ours, who is so blessed with lots of positive energy and a good sense of humour and she's the one who has made our circle very alive and fun to be with.
She is certainly the life of our party, she initiates silly jokes and everyone bursts into laughter. I'm always thankful this Ate of mine never ceases to make me smile.
Looking back years ago, we surely had a great time together and we weren't even uncertain if we'd be able to achieve the dreams we've set back then. But now, for almost 3 years, we were able to reunite even for a bit and this time, all of us are now Licensed Professionals, thanks God. It sure was a heck of day full of unending laughters. Catching up with everyone was really worth all the time. I believe that I just made a core memory out of today.
Author's Note
In this circle of ours, we just a bunch of ordinary students back then. But being dream-driven, we made efforts despite being chill thoughout our journey in becoming licensed professionals. And I really have a lot to thank my dreams for, as it paved me a way to meet these amazing people that has been great help to what I've become today. I am thankful that despite not being able to see each other way too often, we were still close with each other as if it was just yesterday. And I'm thankful that God gave me the ones who are now a part of the greatest treasures in my life.
To my dear readers and Rusty, thank you all for the of the generosity and support that you have showered unto me these days. It really gives me the drive to aspire in writing everyday, and hope it comes out best.

Unexpected loved ones
Do you ever feel like, you are longing for someone close to your heart? A friend, a close colleague you've had recently had at work, or a family member whom you see very rarely these days?
I've been feeling empty sometimes in these past few months, especially that I am running 5 months of being unemployed and it kinda hits the feeling of frustration within oneself sometimes, haha. But gladly, as I take time here in our beautiful community, I get so indulged in beautiful thoughts and that alone never made me too negative about life, even though things are not going on just how I planned it to be.
Even for sometimes,
A quick, unexpected visit from someone, a family perhaps makes us feel happy sometimes. Especially that we have been growing older, and we are starting to live our own lives. Sometimes, I do not like the feeling of being the youngest of all my siblings, I grew up with having not much of a close bond with my siblings. But that is just life and I am still happy for what they're achieving in life. 4 of us are now married happily and only 2 remains, the younger ones, as the singles.
At an earlier time for this morning, we were just having a normal day. I did my usual tasks in the morning when I am not lazy, hahaha. Then suddenly, someone arrived. And it was our eldest nephew, and my sister who is working next town. We were having unexpected visitors for the day, and even that made us feel so happy.
We were so happy that they came, even though they've told us that they'll be back soon enough, but they, my nephew and my sister ate lunch first before they decided to go back to Sogod, So. Leyte.
Even for the shortest time with my nephew, we had a bit of bond with each other. Way back then there was a phase in our life that we grew up together, and we even bickering sometimes as if we are siblings when we were kids and then when I was studying in college, I stayed in their house for 3 years and 1 semester, and that was when we started to get a bit close with each other. We share the same love for online games and playing Mobile Legends is one of them.. Earlier, we played 3 matches unfortunately we had had 1 loss but it's okay we had a fun time. And that after that game, she told my sister that they'll be going back now since she still has her duty on 4 PM.
As for my sister, we had a short conversation with her during lunch. I have not been so close with her since she is already busy with herself and her job, but that's just fine. We are certainly having our ways now. But it won't change the fact that we are blood related, haha.
Special thanks to my sister, it felt like she just came home to buy food for lunch, hahaha.
It's been awhile since we've been together as a family, since my siblings are living their lives now with their families. And we barely have time for each. I just hope that they would find time and visit us at home, even for a quick unexpected visit will do, hahaha.
Author's Notes
And to my dear readers, may you also cherish your family. As there will come a time someday that we will be moving our ways, in chasing our dreams and making a living for ourselves. But, we should always find time for the people who loves us unconditionally, and the ones who will always be with us, through the ups and downs in life. Even a short time is enough to make our family, especially our parents very happy for once in a while.

A day of doubled happiness
A good day to every readers, how was your weekend? Mine was just great and that we were really happy for the entire day, yesterday.
It's not something that happens most of the times in my life but it really was great day for me.
April 23, the date yesterday, was the wedding date of our friend and we really can't contain our happiness for her. They've been years with her fiance for years before they've finally decided to tie the knot. And also for this date, another friend of ours is celebrating her birthday, though there weren't invitations for us to come at her house, me and a friend of mine just plans to visit her later on to extend our greetings to her after the wedding and that was the plan we had in mind.
At 1 PM yesterday, I've already arrived at our local Catholic church as it is where the wedding is gonna be held. And I was surprised to see that were lots of guests that were already inside the church. It was an overwhelming feeling that my friend had support from her loved ones.
And just as 2PM was about to hit, the ceremony has then started and we were there to witness how beautiful it is for someone to get married, in the church with lots of love from everyone who has witnessed every moment of my friend's life until the day she decided to tie the know with her beloved one. The ceremony lasted for almost 2 hours.
And after that, we did proceed at the reception to witness more beautiful moments of the newly wed couple. Until we came at the most awaited part, the dinner hahaha. Just joking, after we ate we were still there at the reception as the program was still not finished. There fun activities all along, the ones that I have usually observed in all weddings I've attended, haha. And after all has been finished, and the newly Weds have finally given their heartfelt messages to everyone who attended at their wedding, it's time for the restoration of their things and that we helped in moving their wedding gifts back to their home as the reception was just a walking distance from where the reception is held. After that, we gave out our thanks to our friend for her invitation and then after, we went to our friend was also celebrating her birthday.
We just knew that they just arrived home, as they celebrated her birthday on a Beach in Southern Leyte with her family. And when we arrived, she was still taking her bath, to rinse her body of seawater.
And for the night since we were still full, hahaha, they chose to just drink some alcohol. It's just a once in awhile thing. I was just there with them to accompany them and only drank pepsi, while to good with their beer and we had tons of laughter for that time. For once, we weren't bothered about what is going on with our surroundings.
And since I was already called to be home at 9PM last night, I bid them farewell early since we will be going to church for this morning.
That's all for the weekend
For sure, today I am just gonna be at home after going to church, relaxing myself and browsing through the internet for fun.
Hope you have a blessed weekend, my dear supportive readers. Thank you for always sparing your time in reading through my drafts. Much love and may God bless you all even more.

The ever changing climate
In every country around the world that we live in, there is a unique characteristic that our place have that it is the climate.
It varies to which part of the world we live in. Such as ours here in the Philippines, we have a tropical rainy climate here. Especially that our region is facing the Pacific Oceans, and through the years we always get caught in the clouds of storms which means rains all over.
And there used to be a pattern that we usually remembered at each time of the year. Such as if it's December and January, it'll be months of rainy days. And when it is the months of April and May, it is usually very hot season in our country.
But these past few years, a lot has changed.
As years have progressed, countries all over the world have shared advancements of technology and that modernization has been taking place. There's a lot of things developed in every parts of the world, however it came with a price.
Lots and lots of our resources, both the renewables and the non-renewables have been consumed in order to build or create create things that are of use to us, humans.
And many of the activities have been creating the factors causing what we have now as climate change. I know that there's a lot of articles right now that talks about the causes of climate change, mostly are by products of men. But I want to share my experience, as a resident of a country that has been greatly affected by climate change.
The climate all around our place has become less predictable
During the 1st week of April, it has been known to us since we were younger that it marks the start of sunny days as it also referred to us as summer back then, but it has been raining. Even before storm Agaton made a landfall in our Province, it has been raining for weeks. We are even baffled thinking, why is it always raining when it is supposed to be our time of summer. And since our town is a rural town, and is tropical, it is normal for us to experience rainfalls throughout the different months of the year but this something that we are not anticipating quite much, as based on experience years back then. And for us to experience Storms, we did not fear the Storms back then. Even if there's a storm signal, we are not afraid because our town usually at outermost parts of the rainclouds of the storm.
But the recent tragedies has made us to be more aware of our surroundings
It was during Typhoon Odette struck our Region, and it was then we really felt fear for our lives as the winds has been so intense with the storm made a landfall and has uprooted not only roofs but even whole house of certain families from Southern Leyte, but still glory to God, there weren't much of casualties back then. But Typhoon Agaton hits different. It was a storm that made a landfall, after our province has been raining for weeks. Which made it easier to make other towns to be flooded, and sadly made landslides to occur in two towns next to us.
And now, we are feeling fear once again
As sudden heavy rainfalls have been downpouring in our town for today. To think, it been a sunny day since Monday. And that we can really say foe ourselves, that climate change has been present these days. Not only that causes inconveniences in our lives, as sudden changes of weather causes sickness to certain people specifically coughs and colds. And that, local rice farmers are probably having a hard time with their harvests these days. As it is supposedly their harvest season, but sudden rainfalls might damage their crops even before they get harvested.
Author's Note
Having been said that we have been heavily affected by the sudden changes in our climate, I really hope that everyone will do their part even for the smallest things that could help preserve our mother nature. It is has been believed that the Earth will be reaching its limit years from now and that everyone has been encouraged to practice every habit that encourages the conservation of mother nature.
To my dear readers, thank you for reading through this piece, hope you could learn something from it.

How religion affects my life
Good day my fellow readers. It's another day full of hope.
I am here once again, trying to share a bit of my ideas in life. And I want to take this opportunity to thank my ever supportive readers. I feel so overwhelmed lately, since Rusty has been making frequent visits and I hope it'll continue even more. Please take time in reading this, hope you'll enjoy it.
Now, what religious view do you have in life?
My parents have been Protestant Christians, specifically Pentecostal in their younger years. Meaning all of us have grown, in a household with a very high regard for the Almighty God. I am still thankful for the kind of lifestyle that it brought us, haha. Since our parents are dedicated to the teachings, we have grown to a strict kind of household. We grow up having so many don't in life. Other people might see someone like me as boring, but that's how I grow up.
So how religion affected my life?
Ever since I was a kid, it was always emphasized that children should obey their parents. In which, I grew up really doing my best not to disappoint my parents. I became self aware about not doing the don'ts that they have taught us. The lapse that I had in my childhood is when I became addicted to computer games, that even though they had reprimanded me multiple times, I'd still escape from our house and make ways to play on the computer shop. But as I grew older and in my senior years of High school, I eventually dropped that habit in order to better muster a good relationship with my parents. And I think my mother was so thankful to God for that, haha.
But as I grew older, I became more aware about how my faith has been doing wonders in my life. God has been blessing me all along especially when I took college, I barely knew anyone back then but still I was able to develop my relationships with other people and eventually graduated with lots of good friends in life.
My faith in God has brought me wonders in life I never knew I could ever accomplish. I was so hopeless back then since my group mates are not too cooperative, but still we managed to make it to our Final Defense for our Undergraduate Thesis. I was able to graduate College on time, when I thought my capabilities were still not enough.
And,
What even wonderful, is that I passed my Licensure Examination in becoming a teacher with only a first try last Sept. 2019. I could remember that before and during the day of the examination I really prayed so hard to pass the exam because I don't want to fail and feel disappointment within my self. I even said to myself after I took the exam, Lord, I don't care if I get a barely passed rating, (75%) just don't let me retake this examination because I really find it so hard.
And 2 months later, on the day that I passed the LET, I felt of having dreamt 3 times that I had already passed my Board Examination. That is why, I really did not feel nervous about the results, rather I was excited to look for my name. And I really thanked God, and I was even screaming at that moment for joy that I am a step closer to my dreams, back then.
Author's Note
Religion has influence on how we live our lives, on a daily basis and how we see things, the good and bad. And I am certain that my Faith in God has brought me to heights of certain achievements I never thought I'd be able to acquire.
Still up to this day, I am so thankful that God always blesses me even in the smallest things. I am ever hopeful that my faith in him would certainly help me achieve the things I've been longing for in life.
Thanks for your time dear readers. This is my idea of how my religion played a role in my life, and certain that yours has done great things in your life as well.

The bravest thing I've ever done
Certainly, there are so many things in life that are indeed a challenge that is too conquering for us. Though there are things that are easy but as to these days, and having grown up, I can really feel that everything feels like a heavy task.
Hello to every readers out here, hope you are having a great. It's me once again and I will try to write my thoughts about something I am trying to reminisce in the distant past.
I was back then, a normal college student. I try to attend to all of my classes and make sure I don't do absences a lot since my siblings are the ones helping and supporting my financial needs in my studies, which is why I don't like to be too chill, haha. But I don't like to ask to much from them as I might hear something unpleasant, just barely enough to cover my expenses.
As far as I can remember, I have a lot to be thankful with my family because I did not have much of a problem in terms of finances during college, there were only a few times but still made it on the deadlines, we're not from a rich family but certainly we are trying our best that everyone could be a degree holder.
But the only thing I'd get worried is when. .
I get into an argument with my parents, oftentimes my father. Since then, me and my Father have been so close. We barely had a moment together as a family. It seems like the connection that we had has been narrowing over the years. And yes, of all of our siblings, it is I who gets into trouble with him quite often. He is not a type of a Father that gets physical when I get to answer him in our arguments, but most of the time, the reason we get to argue is because of his mouth. For a man, he's quite a nagger, he's keep bringing up my mistakes in the past, things made me a bit rebellious to them . And aside from that, we just don't share the same passion on things in life, and I hate it when he has pressed those upon me multiple times in the past.
I tried to understand him as advised by my older brother who also shared the same pain as me, I extended my patience as time went on. But there are just times that I'd be full of his antics and we get into another argument.
And the worst of our arguments came,
I was already a Practice Teacher at that time, and it was the middle of semester and I was at home as it was a weekend. Then my father easily gets mad that time and we got into an argument once again over very petty things, but this time he was so enraged and has said certain things like he'd tell my siblings to withdraw their support for me. I got so mad and disappointed at his words, that I immediately packed my bags and left home like I'm on a trip to nowhere.
But one thing I had in mind, I'd certainly want to finish my studies despite having the feeling of being down that time. I really wanted to be a college graduate so bad, because I want to land a good job, that will increase my chance of having to work far away from ours, that was my goal back then.
I was still lucky that my siblings, especially my sisters understands my feelings and still sent me allowances during that time, as I really came to our boarding house straight from our town. And when I came to school for my OJT Duties, I did the usual things I do. And I never showed any signs of problems bothering me. But I did tell a few classmates about my problem, and I was happy that they are kind and did not condemn me even more because of it. Instead, they told me that me and my father will be just fine soon. They are so encouraging, and that because of them, I was still able to don a smile at every one in school since they helped me divert my thoughts into the positive things in life.
A month later during that time,
I was able to muster courage, and went home. I ask for forgiveness at my father for being a hard headed son. And I was glad, that we became okay and since then, I was able to go home every week from school, with no quarrels.
Author's Note
We certainly have our own experiences with our parents, there are pleasant things and there are times that it isn't. But I am glad that I became braver to stand up in my problems, and did my very best to fight for my dreams despite feeling crumbled inside when that happened. Wishing that everyone would still acknowledge and think very highly of their parents, because even though we felt hurt, they've still did a big part in helping us on becoming who we are now.
And I am always thankful that God really helped me through the darkest moments of my life.

A hot summer birthday
Hello everyone, it is another great day of writing thoughts. How was your day? Was it or did it turn out great?
For me, my day just felt free, as I've not been busy for today.
Except for the part that my friend came and ask for my assistance for his transactions at the Professional Regulation Commission, he is about to claim his Professional License, and his Certificates. Good for him, his sacrifices has finally paid off, though acquiring such documents really costs, but that's fine since it's a requirement in our job application in our profession.
Now going back,
We certainly had a free day feels for today, but I really felt uncomfortable with the surroundings. The weather was fine, but it sure is so hot. I was planning to have a nap for this afternoon because I slept a bit late last night, but I've been laying in bed but was still awake the whole time because I can really feel the heat, even though I had turned on my electric fan. But I was too lazy to get up just yet, and I was then browsing through my socials, Facebook or TikTok trying to find something entertaining and occasionally playing Mobile Legends when I feel bored.
Then I got up from bed,
And then I realized that my mother was busy cooking something, and it is pancit. And it sure is tasty, since she's the one who made, hahaha biased.
Yes, it is my sister's birthday. My mother made this dish to share as we are celebrating my sister's birthday. But since my sister was still not home from work, I waited for her before I had started eating.
Then, a few minutes later after this was served on the table. My sister arrived and we started eating.
This is my sister. she's years older than me. I am so glad and blessed that I have her as a sibling. She is a very generous one, much like one of my three brothers. Back when she used to have work when she was still single, she would always give me extra allowances when I was in high school. And when I was in college, she has been the one who offered to pay my tuition during my first 2 years of College, since it was still not Free College way back then. And for that, I have always been thankful for the support she has given me and now that I have became a Professional,I'd surely help her back soon enough if I could land a permanent job in the near future hopefully.
**Author's Notes**
Even the simplest days, could mean to be extra special sometimes. As my sister has insisted that it's okay if there is no celebration for her birthday at all, since we're all low on budget and I have not made any withdrawals lately because I am saving for something, glad my sister understood, hehe. But my mother really did something for her to feel extra special and loved on day especially that it is her birthday.
Even though it sure is one heck of a very hot day, it sure ended great and with a blast. So, I think that would be all.
Thank you for reading through my drafts, my dear friends. Your support really means a lot. Hope you are having a great day. Stay and be blessed.

A day of hassle, with a bit of joy
Did you ever have that feeling of not being able to have things go your way? Like, everything is a big test of your patience? This is exactly the very scene that I had for this day, specifically in the morning.
Hello my fellow read users, it's a brand new day in a brand new week of ours. Also, I am ever thankful to God that it's already 1 week since the storm hit our province and that I am still safe and sound, along with my family. And now, is the real start of the hot summer days that really makes you sweat a lot, haha.
So how was Monday?
My monday seemed ordinary and nothing quite special, I woke up but I'm still at bed with my phone and just waited for breakfast time. Our breakfast for today consists of rice and "ginisang gulay na sari-sari." We ate early since my Mother prepared it earlier this morning and served it immediately while it is still hot.
After we had breakfast, my Father reminded my Mother as to why no one is queueing for the the Electric Bills payment. So my Mother told me to head to our Town Gymnasium as it where the the personnel of our Electric Service provider will be staying in collecting our fees. And since they're around only during Mondays, it is very important that we head to the queue earlier than 8AM the usual start of office hours.
So I went to the venue at around 7:30AM and there's already a lot of townsfolk who are on the waiting line for the bills payment and I think they are already more or less 20 people who are ahead of me.
I had to sit and wait for an hour before the personnel arrived from Tolosa, Leyte and started their operations. We really couldn't do much but wait even though we are starting to get a bit annoyed why they arrived late haha. Especially that there are senior citizens along the line. But thanks to that one person along our queueing, I did not feel bored at all because he was a talkative one, hahaha so much for being a senior himself. I'm glad that he is not serious and that we could occasionally talk over certain things in life, and sometimes joke on the people who wants to jump into the queue instead of following through the last ones.
As the transactions started and went on, we've noticed that certain clients are taking a bit of time in their transactions with the tellers, finds out that their neighbors had asked them to bring their bills and payments along with ones paying to save them from the hassle. But that's fine, since the transactions were not sluggish anyways.
And at last,
It took me almost 10AM to have my turn in settling our payments of the bills. And it really did not take long. In my experience, those who have no spare changes are also the ones that takes time when it's their turn for the payment. Thanks God, I was finally done. I can finally go home since the Gymnasium really felt hot. And as I left, there are still a lot of my townsfolk who are in queue and are still waiting for their turn.
Closing Thoughts for today:
I was a bit stressed this morning. I just realized that it is really important to make a smart move and that I will do this task earlier in the next payment. I won't mind being there early, as soon as it starts I can also go home early. Same as our enrolment days at our university, I was as early as 4AM just to make sure that I'd get enrolled the earliest time possible so that I can relax myself later on.

Fantastic weekend at holy week
Hello my dear read family, how was your weekend? I am sure that my fellow filipino writers are having a great time with their family since it's holy week and it is a long weekend for most of us. And it's a great time to catch up with everyone in the family. Although we weren't complete yesterday. The fun was still there.
Our Saturday morning started a great day, I've decided to use a bit of my withdrawal from my Coins.ph wallet to buy a kilo of pork worth 340 pesos. But since it's the birthday of my brother in law, it felt like an early celebration.
And also yesterday, there were helicopters coming back and forth into our town proper and we weren't much aware about what could be their purpose of coming into town. Everyone in our town feels like little kids as almost everyone had their heads facing the sky to witness a rare wonder that has come to our town. We also noticed as we were buying something in town, that the landing sites of the helicopters are mostly surrounded by military men, the police and the armies. And then, we were updated by our town Mayor that the Helicopters headed DSWD Eastern Visayas and Philippine Air Force are bring forth relief packs for everyone, since it is still hard for our town to be travelled by land.
**Now back to the birthday celebration,**
at lunch, we only shared the extra grill pork that well had extra after breakfast and the beef stew my mother has also prepared in the morning. But eventually, it became a bit special since my other sister came home with my nephew from Sogod, So. Leyte and they brought a birthday cake from Goldilocks, hehe. Even at this times, we still had cake to share with everyone.
And since it's been a while since I last played ML with my Nephew, I invited him to have a Ranked Game with him. To my surprise, We won 3 consecutive games.
And for the snacks at late afternoon, my mother made pancit canton with the ingredients my sister brought earlier. And my other sister was so generous that she bought a 1.5 liter Ice cream for us.
It's just simple and not too grand, but we really had a great Saturday for yesterday.
And for this **Sunday**, we prepared early since we will be going to church. But since I woke up a bit earlier, I had time to do my laundry then we had breakfast and then took a bath. And then we headed to church with the fam at 8AM for this morning.
It is Easter Sunday, and we had a great message for this morning. This message is the very essence of our Christianity. That Jesus has died for us and he was resurrected.
And at 11AM, we came home very blessed. And then we ate our lunch and now we are having a lot of free time, hehe. I'm thinking of having to relax and sleep just this afternoon as I've been sleeping late these days and I still get to wake up at 5AM in the morning.
Author's Note
I hope everyone gets to spend quality time with the family especially during these holidays. We don't get to have long weekends to often. And for this week, everything will be back to normal and it's going to be a lot busier than the days we have in the holidays.
And to my fellow users here in read, thank you for taking some time in looking through my random thoughts throughout the weekend. may God bless you all.

We had a fine, hot holiday
This day is a special holiday for most of the people here in our community. Since it is highly celebrated by catholic christians. And it was great that the weather was fine the whole day, perfect for their yearly traditions.
During this time of the year, I really find it amusing that the atmosphere feels quiet since most of people are just at home, spending time with their family since it's a long weekend, and that they get to spend time in church with their families also.
I really can't tell much of their traditions
Since growing up, we are raised in a Pentecostal household and yeah, there's a lot of restrictions growing up but I'm still thankful for it because the way we were raised somehow helped us shape the very self that we have now.
Now, how was our Holiday?
I feel a bit happier, since I won't have to bothered much with what is going on in the house. I am just laying at bed, doing social media stuff and playing mobile games when I feel bored. But I really felt the heat inside our home, the kind of summer heat that we are anticipating. I am really not a fan of using electric fans, so I just opened my windows to allow the free flow of air to enter into my room.
And so I've been staying in my room since morning until lunch time. But a few hours after lunch, we got a bit busier since the firewood that we've recently acquired are already after being place under the heat of the sun and I was tasked to help my mother and my sister in storing them at the back portion of our house. It took us a longer time to store our firewood since they're just a lot, kudos to my father who has diligently gathered them so that our stove gas will not be used quite often, and therefore saves a bit of pesos, hehe.
But before we started our task earlier in the late afternoon, my mother has been cooking the most popular food during these holiday season. Even though we are not catholics, my mother still took her time and prepared it for us.
"Binignit" the star food for this day.
After lunch, my mother has been busy in gathering the ingredients she had bought the other day and all by herself, she cooked this amazing food that all of us enjoyed.
Here's a bowl of mine full of "binignit". I really enjoyed my share since we don't get to eat this quite often. I think this food counts as dessert since it is a sweet dish. And there is still remaining left in the pot, might consider eating again after dinner. Haha
As I was trying to enjoy myself after eating, I went outside and lo, I felt mesmerized by how the sunlight painted beautiful colors in the sky. I quickly grabbed my phone and opened it's rear camera to has grasp of such wondrous moment.
Such beauty, I've been staring at the setting sun for quite awhile. Since it's been a while since we've last witnessed the beauty of the sunset. The past few weeks, all we can see is the never ending cloudy skies.
Also, for this evening, I find it amazing since this is the first time in quite awhile that we are able to witness moonlight. Such wonders, happening consecutively in a day hehe. And very much for this evening, we are free once again to our usual businesses, the never ending social media activity. Haha.
**Closing Thoughts:**
All for this day, we had a bit of a fun time as a family. We accomplished certain tasks with the help of each other and we got to share our blessings with each other. Hoping that this could happen every day in life.

Choose to move forward
Even at the times that everyone feels peril, or fear for their lives, especially when calamities have struck and etched fears and worries in our hearts, or defeats or failures recently experienced make you feel down and depressed.
But we know that even the most unpleasant things would certainly come to an end, just like how rainbows are present at the end of the storm. It remarks that there's always a new chance to relive life, and start again in building yourself to a much better life.
It really feels relieving that once again, after being stuck for 2 weeks of non-stop rain plus a storm recently struck, that we are finally feeling the heat of the Sun. This indeed, a very great news for everyone Especially:
To the road workers who are doing very big efforts to clear up the debris left by the recent landslide.
To the ones who have done relief operations, it is efficient for them to travel and deliver the aid for the people who are greatly affected by the recent storm and to the rescue teams who have been tirelessly doing their greatest efforts in helping those who were badly injured, and the ones that survived such tragic natural incidents off to safety.
And to everyone else, the citizens. This is a great time for us to do things that were hampered during the stormy days, others are busy doing the laundry because their clothes got wet in the storm, while others are already busy with their lives trying to earn money by working to sustain the family's needs.
I am really amused with my fellow people here in my community, even though life's a bit tougher these days, I did not hear complaints from anyone. Resilience is alive, at its best. Everyone is doing their own businesses, trying to help their own families, and not whining as to where are the relief packs just yet. Everyone is just patient, and the good news is that relief packs has finally arrived and I hope they are given to the most deserving ones.
A bit of a highlight for today
I know this ain't too much, but this is inspirational enough for me to keep going here in read. I am happy that for a bit, I've been growing here in the community. And that even though in the past, there are times that I haven't posted anything in a day, but still I felt relief to have my little efforts be paid more than enough and slowly starting to bloom. Just hope that it doesn't make anyone bored, just yet haha. A little progress indeed.
Now how was our day?
Since it has been while since it became a sunny day, we are starting to uncomfortable with the hot surroundings especially that another blackout occured so no electric fans for us. My father was also busy placing the firewood he has recently acquired under the sun to dry it and it was from near the riverbanks. Wow, the effort haha. It really saves us gas from using our stove. And late this afternoon, a neighbor told us to collect the firewood that he had accumulated in his yard, and we gladly accepted his kind gesture, especially that the family prefers to cook in traditional ways despite today's time.
And since we are on a tight budget for food, my mother had another recipe and we had Veggie Spring Rolls for lunch and dinner.
Such yum, even for a low cost side dish, it's packed with nutrition. It feels great that my mother made a twist in our dishes, as we also had veggies the last few days. Wondering what might be available for tomorrow.
**Closing Thoughts**
Even if there are things that annoy or make you feel down lately, you should hold on the Positivity in life. And that move forward, even if you had a traumatic or very painful experiences in life. There may be dark days present in our lives but, there always a ray of sunshine giving us hope that even at hint of darkness, light always finds a way through it.
Hope you somehow enjoyed this, my fellow readers. Bless you all.
