My 2022 Prayer

Heavenly Father,

As we welcome 2022, lemme say thank you for all the learnings and blessings You showered us this year. It wasn't an easy journey but everything is just and right according to Your will.

Thank you for staying with us. Thank you for making us see that even in our worst, You are still there and You never leave us alone.

Thank you for protecting us. Keeping us away from harm. Things may not work as we wanted them to be but still, You make our daily life worth living.

We may lose some important persons in our lives but we know they are at peace now with You.

Thank you for Your never-ending greatness.

As another new year begins, we ask again for Your guidance. May your Spirit be with us, live in us. Bestow us wisdom to make the best choices. The most suitable decision that is for our betterment.

We ask for your forgiveness. Heal our hearts as we start another journey this coming year. Help us let go of anger, grudges, bitterment, discontentment. May You help us be reminded that we only seek to You and no other things. For You is all we need, Your greatness.

We ask for strength to be able to do what You want us to do. Give us the courage to walk the bumpy road ahead of us. To continue living according to Your will.

We ask for hope. For everyone's heart that is having trouble in finding You. Make them hear Your voice. Help them believe in You again.

We ask for peace and joy to stay in our hearts.

We ask for Your helping hand to extend them to those who need it. Embrace them with your loving arms. Transform their hearts to clearly see Your goodness.

We ask that You continue to watch over us and our loved ones. Bring them good health and make them safe all the time.

Most importantly, we ask that You help everyone find faith in You. We are nothing without You.

All this we ask in You, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
