We are more than a physical body, we are much more than what can be seen and touched, what we can perceive with the 5 senses, we are also emotion, mind and spirit and all these make up the different dimensions of Being that integrate us as a whole linked to everything that exists in creation.
Each of these dimensions has a special place and scope in our way of acting. If we were to imagine ourselves as a 4-story building, the physical dimension would be on the first floor, the foundations of the building, then on the second floor we would find the emotional dimension, on the third floor the mental dimension and at the top would be the spiritual dimension.
All these dimensions are interrelated and to the extent that we are aware of the scope of each one we can achieve a greater state of well-being, because we could live in a higher level of congruence and connection with ourselves.
There is nothing more dissociative than to think one thing, feel another and act in a totally different way to what we think or feel. And although it may seem logical, ironically these are the incongruities we observe in our routine when our body asks for rest and instead the mind pressures you to continue being "productive" or when emotionally you feel saturated but you act as if nothing is happening to you and continue to swallow everything that happens to you, among so many other inconsistencies.
Although it is possible that we identify with the physical body to the point of believing that we are it, we are not, it is only a small part, we are inside it temporarily. We are part of the whole, of existence, but each of us has an individuality represented in our Physical Body and in our Being.
That is why it is so important that we are clear about who we really are, to harmonize all these dimensions and to be able to be connected with existence in a more harmonious way.
At the other extreme to those who believe that we are only a body, there are those who are stuck only in the Spirit, they stop living experiences in the present moment and have no interest in their body because they put all their attention in that connection with the subtler planes, however, I feel that this extreme is not good at all, because finally we are experiencing a physical experience, something brought us to earth, karma? Maybe, or surely it is, but the truth is that I believe that in everything we must seek the point of balance and I do not think we can achieve that at one end of the scale, unless you are an ascended being who came to this plane with a special mission.
Starting then that we came to this earthly experience to complete a learning process, or to cover our karma, I think it is important to keep in mind that in order to raise our level of consciousness we have to align both the physical body (what we see), with the mental dimension or aspect (thoughts) and the emotional (feelings), to have a degree of congruence that leads us in these different planes to work to achieve the same purpose: our welfare and happiness.
If we do not achieve this cohesion in these aspects, we go through the world as disconnected, we do not have a clear purpose, if we do not balance these 3 dimensions we will hardly be able to activate the potential that is contained in our spiritual aspect or dimension. This is why it is so important that we also understand that we are "energetic" beings and that everything around us is permeated by the same energy that created us and of which we are a part.
We live through our physical body, it is true, at this moment it is our vehicle and therefore we must take care of it as the great and wonderful temple that it is, eating well, exercising, taking the proper rest, connecting with nature, among other actions, but we must never forget its connection with the mental, emotional and spiritual part.
Thank you for joining me here, in recent days I subscribed to this Community and since then, I really wanted to write and share here with the members of this interesting group. So today I wanted to touch on a topic that I have been developing in a program that I recently started through Discord called "Guidelines for Wellness" and I hope to continue sharing it here.
