Posting this for tracking purposes. I owe 2 artcles already for this month. First is for October 5th because we had a small celebration for our stay out helper and second is October 9th because we have to attend my nephew's birthday and christenjng. My husband is one of the Godfather so we really have to go. It's nearly 11pm when we arrived at home hence I didn't have enough time to post an article for October 9th.

If I were.... the BOSS Date: October 8, 2021 Happy Friday my fellow readers and writers!. It's my favorite day of the week again!. **The Bad News** Yesterday, we had a team meeting where my Manager (who is based in the United Kingdom) announced that the Manila Management has sent a memo to mandate the Manila employees of our company to go back into office amidst the number of positive COVID-19 cases we have in a daily basis. My manager said it's already final, but then he asked us to write all our concerns and doubts and send it to him, so he can raise it with the Senior Management. He then forwarded us a PDF file containing the Return to Office (RTO) guidelines. In the first page, you can immediately see the plan of Return to Office policy. By November 8 of the current year till end of January next year, we are required to work 2 days onsite and then from February 1 next year till end of April of the same year, it will be incremented by 1 day. So we immediately scrolled down to the FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) section to see if our doubts in mind are already listed in there. And I must say most of our concerns and questions are already answered in the FAQs section. However, most of the answers are against with what we want them to consider (NO). **My Personal Concerns** Since I know, most of the queries and concerns will already be covered with my colleagues, I then decided to raise my queries that greatly affects my current situation. Below are the concerns that I've raised. *We know that Philippines is still struggling in contact tracing, is it possible for the company to provide a point to point shuttle exclusive for the employees only? In this case, contact tracing will be easy and faster and hence the employee that has a close contact to a covid positive employee can isolate themselves which prevents the further spread of the virus.* *I have three kids (11 yo, 7 yo, and 3 yo). My first two are currently enrolled in  distance learning due to pandemic. We don’t have a stay-in nanny or stay-in helper at the moment. I don’t have any relatives nearby as well to look after my kids  while I am away. May I request for an extended WFH period of at least 1 month for me to find a stay-in helper/nanny who can take care of my kids while I am away?* First in my concern is the transportation. I know that none of my colleagues will raise this one because they have their own car and can drive to office anytime. But in my case, I have to commute to work because I don't know how to drive and our car is mainly used by my husband in the store (to pick up or deliver rice and grocery items). I would like to ask if our company will be able to provide us a point to point shuttle service. This will help to easily trace who have a close contact with a covid-19 positive individual and hence we can immediately isolate ourselves to prevent the further spread of the virus in our house and in our community as well. My second concern has something to do with my kids. As you may already aware of, we have a stay-out helper at the moment (who is always absent every Monday - due Monday morning sickness). She cannot go and stay with us because his husband don't want to because even though they don't have a child, she still needs to take care of her husband (of course). However, given my proximity from the office (more or less 45 kilometers away from the office), I will be away for a total of 15 hours and I have 3 kids that also needs my care at home. My husband could not stay with my kids because he has to assist in our sari sari store. He couldn't bring our children to the store as well because aside from the fact that it's a high risk place due to multiple customers coming in and out of the store, my first 2 kids are currently attending online school and we do not have wi-fi in the store. So I am asking them if they can give me at least another month to find a stay-in helper we can trust who will look after my kids while my husband and I are both away. My colleagues and I had lots of discussions yesterday when we heard about the news. *Let me just post a quick throwback selfie of mine in the office way back before the pandemic. I loved to work in the office because you can focus more as compared here in our house where there are lots of distractions in every corner of our house. However, due to the current covid-19 positive cases count? I would rather work from home despite of the challenges I am facing in a daily basis being a working from home mom of three*. **If I were the BOSS.....** ****If I were the Boss, I will give my employees an option if they want to go to the office or continue working from home****. We've been in this set-up from more than a year already, and we have even proven to our Manager that our productivity has doubled and even tripled with this set-up cause we have saved time from travelling into the office. We have proven enough that working from home is never been an issue with attending meetings. We can always submit our deliverables before the deadline ****If I were the Boss, I will respect my employees decision if they cannot take the risk of going into the office yet given the current rate of COVID-19 positive count in a daily basis****. We all know that most or I would say **ALL** hospitals in our country (Philippines) are currently full and don't have a capacity to admit more patients at the moment. Some hospitals don't even accept COVID-19 patients anymore. Hence, when we have been infected by the virus, there's very low chance to get a hospital bed, which will then force us to self-medicate at home which in effect will expose all our family members in the virus. ****If I were the Boss, I won't make the return to office mandatory because it is like me forcing them to get vaccinated as well.**** Some of my office mates (about 20%) are not vaccinated yet because just like the others, they are also afraid of the side effects that the vaccine may cause to their body. But then on this newly mandated policy, it's like leaving no choice to those employees but to get vaccinated because going back into the office means exposing themselves in the virus and hence they will have to choose now. Which risk are they going to accept? ***Will they rather accept the risk of how their body would react to the covid-19 virus, or the risk of how their body will react to the vaccine?*** This is my entry to @JonicaBradley writing prompt #18 - If I Were... Here are the rules just in case you want to join as well: Write anything about If you were... Write anything about "If I were". Write 100% original content. Join and submit to the community PromptlyJonica. Tag @JonicaBradley . I will have to go back to work now. Friday feels is real. Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Earners Don't have a College Degree Pre-Requisite They said that education is our key to success. I completely agree into that. Because without a degree, I might not be where am I now. It's usually our stepping stone to find a better job. If you are a Degree holder, there's higher possibility that you will find a better job that gives you an ideal salary as compared to those who cannot even complete their high school due to poverty and some other reasons. **Disqualified in an open position for not being a Degree Holder** I remember few years back when I am at my former company (TCS), I have interviewed and applicant for an open position for our team. Technical interview went so well so I endorsed her to out client who will conduct the final interview. Everything went well as well. The client liked her because she's a perfect fit for our team. However, when the company conducted a background check, they found out that the applicant is an undergrad in college. She was previously a BPO agent and was given a chance by her company to go and explore the I.T. world and that's where she acquired all the skills she have to become a perfect fit on our open position. And due to the policy, even though our client already liked her, the HR cannot proceed with the hiring process because she was disqualified for not having a degree. **We are the chosen ones.** We're lucky that in our world today, there are lots of earning platforms that allows every individual regardless of it's educational background or attainment to earn fiat money thru digital currency like bitcoin cash without the need of capital. And we're lucky enough that we have known and have been part of noise.cash and read.cash platforms. It gives us the opportunity to know crypto and to stake with it a very low risk cause we do not have to shell out capital from our own pockets. We are able to experience trading or buy and sell BCH or any other currencies without staking our own money but our earnings from these platforms instead. ***I can say that*** *****we are so lucky to be the chosen ones********.*** *Not all of those who have registered an account in both noise.cash and read.cash platforms stayed long. There are multiple users that has chose to quit after staying for weeks, or a month in here. I felt so sorry for them, cause they loose the opportunity of earning BCH for free.* **Trading Terminologies I learned from both noise.cash and read.cash** **Buy Low Sell High.** This is the first trading concept I have learned from the aforementioned platform. I find this trading concept really challenging. Most of the time, I am hesitant to make my move cause I still have the below questions running in my mind: *How can I be sure that the price won't dip further?* *or* *What if the price continue to rise up?* Easy to say but it's really hard to apply. I am just a beginner when it comes to trading and this is one of the challenges I've got. Bull, Bullish, Bull Run This caused me a lot of confusion the first time I read this words circulating in noise.cash platform. When the market price soar high, I believe it was around May this year (if I am not mistaken), I heard a lot of posts in noise.cash about the Bull, Bullish, Bull run. And so then I realized that: Ahuh!. When the market price is going upward, they call it BULL. Bear, Bearish From the sudden surge of the market last May, price went down significantly the couple of weeks after the Bull run (May 2021). And so it was then when I saw different users posting about Bear overcoming the Bull market. And so it made me realized that the opposite of Bull (price going up) is Bear (price going down). Dump It was also last May 2021 when I learned about this trading terminology thru noise.cash posts. It is when the market price significantly went down and a lot of traders panic sell their assets. This will then in effect cause a significant drop in the crypto's market price. Whale I first saw this in a MEME posted by one user in noise.cash. I actually did not get it when I first saw it. I thought it's just a representation of Bullish Market. But then as days passed by and the BCH price continue to go down, I saw few posts like "the whales are just preparing for the next bull run". From that post, I realized that this might mean BIG time investors who have sufficient funds that can manipulate the market price. FUD This one, I really didn't get what it means so I did a research instead. FUD stands for **F**ear, **U**ncertainty, and **D**oubt. This is a strategy is being used by people to spread fear, uncertainty and doubt to multiple traders. They purposely spread misleading information. HODL A misspelled HOLD. This is a strategy where the trader will keep on holding his or her asset despite the significant drop in the market price. There are still lots of trading terminologies that I've read from both read.cash and noise.cash platform but I still do not understand what they means till this writing. Some of these are: **FOMO = ?** **Leverage = ?** **Liquidity = ?** *I read this from someone's post regarding SmartBCH.* **Gwei = ?** *I saw this multiple times on articles written to guide the beginners on SmartBCH (Metamask).* **P2P = ?** Before learning about noise.cash and read.cash, I spend my time watching tutorials in Youtube on how to do proper trading. But now? Read.cash serves as my knowledge base when it comes to crypto-currency. Just want to share the below MEME I've created via imgflip. This is ME when I learned earlier from a noise.cash post that the market is doing good again.

Oriental Mindoro : My Forever Home I don't know how am I going to start this article. There lots of thoughts coming through my head, but not sure how to put them into words. It's almost 2 years that we haven't visited our house in our province yet (Oriental Mindoro). Before pandemic, we used to go home at least twice a year. One is during Summer time and another one is during Christmas season. But since our last trip way back December 2019, we did not had a chance to visit our home again. Reason being is kids are not allowed to travel unless we will declare ourselves as LSI (Locally Stranded Individuals) that lost jobs here and we wanted to go home to the province for good. This topic is actually in my draft articles list for like 3 weeks already. So now, I decided to pursue this one. I and my husband are both born in the beautiful province of Oriental Mindoro. We're classmates since High-School. Our small piece of land. During our first year of marriage, one of our ex-teacher sold the portion of his land which more or less 500 meters away from our school. When my father in-law learned about it, he contacted my husband right away to ask if we're interested on that land. And so my husband consulted me and without hesitation, I said YES! I want that of course! But the problem is, we don't have enough money to pay the whole amount in cash. During that time, we only have 60,000 PHP as our savings whereas the total land price is 170,000 Pesos. The lot area by the way is 1000 square meters. We are not a fan of loans during that time. We relayed the same info to my father in-law and he tried to haggle with our ex-teacher. Luckily, our ex-teacher agreed that we only pay 60,000 PHP as our initial down payment and then 5,000 pesos per month and during bonus month (December), we will pay extra large amount and then continue again with 5,000 pesos per month on the succeeding months until we fully paid the total amount of 170,000 Pesos. As soon as we've paid the land's full amount, I and my husband decided to build our house there. He resigned in his work, went home to our province, and started with the construction of our house. In other words, I was left in Manila to work while my husband and my eldest son (3 years old at that time) went home to our province so that we can start building our house there. Every payroll, I used to send my husband 10,000 for the house construction. *Apologies guys, I don't have a clear whole picture of our house . It's not finished yet actually till now due to budget constraints.* That's my son when he was 4 years old. That ***Bahay Kubo*** you can see from the picture is where my husband and son stayed while the other house (bungalow) is under construction. Beach is just few minutes away from our house. What I missed the most in our province is the sea. Our house is only more or less 2 kilometers away from the sea so whenever we're on vacation, we go there every day (before breakfast) to feel the fresh breeze of air in the morning. The kids also loved to dip their little feet in the seawater. They love running around while enjoying the view. We usually stay at the beach from 6:00AM till 8:00AM, and then we go home for breakfast. You'll get entertained without the use of gadgets or television. In the afternoon, we go to the basketball court to watch the teenagers playing. It's only few steps away from our house. Also, whenever we go to the province for a vacation, my sisters and brother used to visit us daily hence we eat lunch together and sometimes even dinner. Those are all my nieces and nephews. The girl in purple shirt is my daughter. She was 3 years old in that picture I guess. Look how independent my little nieces and nephews are. They can eat on their own (nakakamiss). Cheap cost of living. I am so missing our simple life in my hometown. We don't need to buy toys for the kids because toys are everywhere!. This is my son making roads in the sand and use a piece of wood as his car :).. ***And most of all, you can eat as many fruits as you can, for FREE!.*** This Indian mango tree and banana are planted just beside our house. And these coconut trees are everywhere around our house. I think there are more or less 10 coconut trees around our house. So our coconut milk, coconut meat, and buko juice are always free. You'll never get bored in the province. And that's why I am so loved the province life. Cost of living is so cheap!. If you know how to plant, or you know how to catch fishes, your viand can be almost free!. Only problem there is, it's so difficult to earn money. Wages are also cheap and job opportunities are less. *When everything goes with our plan, I and my husband are planning to go home in our province for good (SOMEDAY).* ***Apologies guys if I don't have much of pictures to share. But next time, when we will be given an opportunity to go for a vacation again, I will take as many pictures as I can so I can share the beauty of our place to all of you.***

My Not so Lazy Weekend! Date: October 4, 2021 I always have a very busy weekdays! Being a working mom with 2 schooling kids and 1 toddler makes my weekdays so exhausted. After work, I have to assist my kids do their home works or assignments. And then at night, after cleaning our dishes, I fix my toddler (wash him and change his clothes and diaper) before we go to bed. My work is from Mondays to Fridays only, but there were working weekends as well whenever we need to cover special events or check-outs whilst my husband's store is open all week from 6:00 AM to 08:00 PM. Every Friday, I felt so excited cause it's my last working weekdays. Maybe to some of my noise.cash friends here, you've already noticed that my abnormal body clock with the time of my posts :). You can see me posts at 1:00AM, 2:00AM, and so on. Reason being is my son's body clock seems to be following the UK hours. Cause prior the pandemic, I am working on UK hours and hence my son's body clock has adopted that schedule as well. But then now that I am working in APAC hours already, I am always like in a zombie mode. My shift starts at 4:00AM on a Monday and 6:00 from Tuesday to Friday. And hence I only got 3 to 4 hours of sleep and sometimes none in a daily basis *during weekdays.* ***And so, my number 1 weekend goal is:*** Be able to sleep 8 hours or more : Achieve! I tried to achieve this last Saturday and Yesterday and guess what? It's a success!. I slept at around 3AM last Saturday and woke up almost 11 AM already while last Sunday, my youngest son and I slept at around 3:00AM (if I may recall it correctly) and woke up at 12 noon!. No Opening of Outlook and Teams Chat : Achieve! During weekends and we do not have any work related scheduled activity, I promised myself not to check or open any work related applications like my outlook and teams chat. This is to prevent myself to do unplanned weekend works and be able to maximize my weekends with the kids. We have a designated on-call by the way, so the level 1 support will reach out to on-call person whenever there's an issue that requires urgent attention from us. Watch Netflix Movies : Achieve! During weekdays, I am not able to do this because we all go upstairs in our bedroom by 10:00PM (after I cleaned the kitchen) because my 2 kids has school the next day. Hence, during weekends, I always make sure to buy some time watching Netflix movies while eating chips. It's one of my ways to unwind. Here are the movies that I've watched: *Note: I am not going to provide any detailed review as I am not good in that aspect to be honest. I have short term memory as well hence I cannot recall completely all the relevant scene in a movie.* **Squid Game.** My kids love to replay this TV series again and again, so do I. **The Hitman's Body Guard.** I loved this movie. There's a bit of comedy in it. **Sniper : Legacy**, **Sniper: Ghost Shooter, Sniper Assassin's End.** These are like part 1, 2, and 3. You'll love how they are able to resolve the mystery at the end. **Tears of the Sun**. A must-watch movie as well for me. I love the action and the drama part of this movie. Sunday = Family Day : Achieve! Of course Sunday will always be our family day. We always spend the whole day with the kids. And since yesterday was a rainy one, we decided to just spend it in the house. We just went out quickly around 3:30 PM to buy some donuts and shake. And since the kids are not allowed to any establishments, they just ate it inside the car. After that, we decided to go home as the weather is not so good as well. We are just few meters away from our house when a road incident happened that caused heavy traffic. We waited a bit and observed what's happening. And when my husband realized that we're no longer moving, he stepped out of our vehicle and mandate the traffic because it's getting worst since some vehicles just tried to pass but they are actually just causing the road to become more clogged. My husband went back and forth multiple times while the kids and I are just patiently waiting and watching inside our car. Finally, after almost 1 hour of being stuck in that traffic, we are able to pass through. Be Sunday as my Lazy Day : Failed! Lazy day to me means I won't fix our bed, I won't clean our dishes, I won't sweep and mop the floor, I won't clean our tables and dividers, and so on. Most of the time, it's been my habit to do the general cleaning on a Sunday. Yes we do have a stay out helper, but she was not able to clean the entire house the way I like it to be cleaned. I mean, I am so shy to ask her to clean the corners that she can't reach, so Sunday is my always my turn to clean our house. The problem with me is, when I started to move, I don't want stop till I did not cleaned the entire house. And that's why sometimes, I felt so exhausted on a Sunday. But then last weekend, I told to myself that I will just relax the whole day and will let my husband and my eldest son do the house chores. My goal is not to exhaust myself cleaning the house on a Sunday and spend more rest. *Here are the results:* **Do not wash our dishes : passed!.** I asked my eldest son did this. Though I have to do a little polishing afterwards. **Do not fix our bedroom - failed!.** I realized that my eldest son can't do this yet because he doesn't know how to fold the blankets properly. so I did this the honors instead. I have changed bedsheets and pillow cases as well. **Do not clean the house : failed!.** After fixing the bedroom, I swept and mop the floor, cleaned our dividers and mirrors, and organized the kitchen cabinets and that burned my 2 hours of supposedly lazy day. **Do not clean the washroom/bathroom: failed!.** While I am taking a bath to prepare for our afternoon quick stroll, I cannot resist to just see the stains in the lavatory, on the wall, and on the floor. Hence, I did it!. Next weekend, I will try to set the same goals to maximize my weekends and give my body to relax. How about you guys? Did you spend your weekend well?

Random Questions to a Parent Date: October 3, 2021 Start Time: 01:30 AM End Time: 3:15 AM In my two months of being active in this platform, I've seen a lot have written random questions already. And since I am out of topic for today, I thought of writing an article answering questions someone might ask to parent/s. Who takes care of the budget? I know that in most of the family, the wife takes care of the budget. But in our case, my husband takes care of it but we both do the planning. ***Why?*** Before pandemic, I have to travel to the office in a daily basis. And to be honest? I do not bring my or any wallet. I just bring my ID, and 500 pesos budget for that day. ***Why?*** I've got traumatized when I experienced to be a victim of pocket picker. They are able to take my wallet that has all my cards in it. So since that incident, I told to myself not to bring wallet anymore whenever I am out. Also, it's been my habit already to put money everywhere when I commute. I have money in my pockets, I have money in my bag's pocket, in my coin purse, and I have money at the back of my phone - in between the casing and the phone. What's do you prefer? Normal Delivery? Or Ceasarian? In my case, all my three kids are via normal delivery cause I preferred normal delivery over caesarian. *Though I took epidural anesthesia on my first and second born.* My first was a very traumatic one. Maybe because I did not expected the level of pain that I am about to feel prior my labor day. I am not used to exploring google or YouTube that time, maybe due to network accessibility as well. I labored for about 19 hours long during my first delivery. My second is the best experience amongst my three delivery. Even before my due date, my Ob Gynecologist asked me if I wanted to have an epidural anesthesia or some also called is painless labor as well, and I said YES. So my Ob Gynecologist added that details in my admission note. On my third delivery, I've experienced all the pain from the start till my son came out of my womb. I have a note in my admission letter that I would want to have an epidural but then the anesthesiologist is not available that time. Hence, I have to bear all the raw pain from the start to finish of my labor. I did awesome though cause I know what to do since it's my third already. I know what to do when the cramps are coming in. I am alone in the labor room that time because the hospital staffs (nurses and doctors) are all busy attending another pregnant woman who has just lost her child. She's just 5 months old pregnant and I overheard in the emergency room that she accidentally slipped in their bathroom. I felt so sorry for that woman. How old are you when you have your first born? My first child was born January of year 2010. I was 24 years old by then which means I got pregnant when I was 23. Are you and your partner married? Yes. But via Civil wedding only. My first child was unplanned hence we just agreed to have a civil wedding before our first child was born so we won't have any problems with processing his birth certificate. Civil Wedding or Church Wedding? Of course I prefer church wedding. But then as I have mentioned above, since my first child was unplanned, we decided to have a civil wedding instead. I was 5 months pregnant during that time. How many children do you want? As long as I wanted to have one more, I think I won't be able to bear the pain anymore. Not only that, considering the current stress level I have currently with my kids plus my husband, I don't think I will ever overcome it anymore if we add one more to the gang. I currently have three kids - 2 boys and 1 girl, so I think that number is perfect already. Breastmilk or Formula milk? I prefer breastmilk of course. It has multiple nutrients and a lot of benefits for both the mother and child as compared to the cow's milk. But, I still have a full respect to the moms that gave formula milk to their babies. Even me myself bottle-feed my eldest son with formula. There are lots of challenges to be able to have a successful breastfeeding. One of them is the body's capability to produce enough milk which is my main problem with my first born. After we have been discharged from the hospital (a day after I gave birth birth), my body is struggling to produce breastmilk. I tried to manually hand express but no luck. And since I don't want to dehydrate my son, I have decided to give him formula milk. I somehow overcome this supply problem when I delivered my second and third child cause luckily, my OB-Gynecologist is a breastfeeding advocate. She gave me meds that will help boos my milk supply. Also, I joined in one of the Facebook community namely "**BreastFeeding Pinays**". From this group, I am able to learn a lot about breastfeeding. I learned about how to store expressed milk properly. I learned on how to effectively boost my milk supply. I learned about the different benefits of breastfeeding not only physically, but also mentally (emotionally). I even joined the Breastfeeding Pinay's organized event called as HAKAB NA (before the pandemic). *Above picture was taken August 2019 at "Hakab Na" event conducted in SMX Convention Center, Pasay City with my tribe "One Cavite Tribe" wearing our uniform for the event.* Feel free to make your version of this. October-Yan SMART Goals Date: October 2, 2021 Start time: 00:51 AM End time: 3:10 AM Happy second day of October everyone! I am happy yesterday (Friday) because I am able to complete the script that I tried doing earlier for work. I made it work! Anyways, this article will be all about my goal for this month of October. I do not usually set any goals here and even on noise.cash platforms and just like go with the flow. But then after reading some articles of the old users about their monthly goal's status report, I got curious and told myself, why not! I mean I can also try and set some goals right? At least I have something to look back and use as my baseline comparison at the end of each month. *This will help to easily track my progress as well.* Despite of having goals for this month, I promise to not pressure myself on achieving them I will still just go with the flow and will not force myself to complete all those goals. This will be basically for tracking purposes. My Read.Cash Goals ****Write and publish atleast 1 article per day******.** Yesterday, I tried to be time sensitive while composing my article. I tried to record how long does it take for me to finish atleast a 5 minutes read time article and as per my record, I have consumed a total of 2 hrs. Proof read time is not included here cause as soon as I have completed writing, I immediately published it without reviewing my wordings and grammar. Achieving this goal seems to be challenging for me because I have work from Monday to Friday and after shift, I am assisting my daughter (Grade 2) with her assignments. This is on top of doing bits of house chores as well. Another factor that can hinder in achieving this goal is the project assigned to me at work. It is testing in progress at the moment and has target date of October 25th. Also, earlier, my eldest son (currently in Grade 6) told me all his projects that needs to be submitted by next week. *First is the Christmas lantern.* They need to create a video of themselves creating Christmas lantern. I already have an idea on what lantern I will teach him to do. But me and my son knows nothing about editing videos, so, good luck to both of us. I will need to watch some online tutorials available in YouTube. *Second project is the table of elements that he needs to draw in 1/8 piece of illustration board.* I've already asked my husband's assistance for this one and he already agreed that he will be the one to assist our son for this. I've also secured all the materials needed hence I don't have any actions needed on this one except on chasing my husband to assist my son. *Third project is planting tomato seeds.* He needs to start planting seeds tomorrow and make a short video clip to track the progress of it in a daily basis. Given those bit busy schedule of mine, I will still try to achieve this 1 published article per day goal. I know it will be difficult but as per the saying "there's no harm in trying". But then again, I won't pressure myself on this. October has 31 days hence at the end of the month, I should have published 31 articles as well (wow! that sounds a lot! phew!). ****Earn at least $3 per day.**** I know this amount might be too small and too easy to earn for others but to me it's not. I am not sure yet how to achieve this but what I am going to do is try to read atleast 10 articles per day just like what the others are doing, interact with other writers and support their articles as well by means of upvoting them. Distraction #1 01:15: My son asked for dede milk (bottled milk). 01:29: writing resumed ****HODL all my BCH earnings.**** There are some cases where I am tempted to spend my earnings. Cases which can be avoided easily by just simply avoiding shopee. Yes you heard it right! Shopee is my number one temptation in spending my earnings. Starting this month, I am going to track all my cashed outs from my BCH earnings. I will to HODL as much as I can and try to accumulate for up to 1, 2, 3, or even more BCH in the future. ****Gain more Friends from the platform.**** I am really enjoying every time I am exchanging conversation with other writers here in read.cash. I already felt comfortable speaking with a lot of writers here. It's like I am talking to my friends as well. Staying here helps eliminate my boredom specially during my working hours and the shift is just so quiet and I don't have anyone to talk to. Even though my shift is quiet and no issues are coming in, I still need to keep an eye on our applications and make sure they are all running fine. It means I still need to remain and be seated in front of my PC even though I don't have something relevant to do. That's why checking both noise.cash and read.cash sites helps me kill those idle hours of mine at work. How about you folks? Do you prefer setting up monthly goals as well? Setting your goals does not mean you have to force and pressure yourself to achieve them. It's just like you're setting up the guidelines so you know where you're going or know your path. When setting-up your goals, just make it SMART. S = Specific M = Measurable A = Action Oriented R = Realistic T = Timely Learned this from my job as we also are required to set our goals bi-annually which will be our Manager's basis in his evaluation. I am so excited for the weekends cause it means I can sleep and lay in my bed all day long. My ultimate goal every Saturday is to have at least 8 hours of non-clustered sleep. It is my opportunity to lay down in bed all day long because I don't have work hence no need to wake up so early in the morning!. ***Above meme has been created by yours truly via imgflip.com.*** ***You may also want to check my sponsors' pages. My September Metrics Date: October 1, 2021 Start Time: 12: 15 AM End Time: 02:12 AM Hello my dear readers and fellow writers!. How was your September? Did it all goes well? Or the other way around? Upon writing this article, a background song is silently playing in my mind. The song from Green Day entitled **"Wake Me Up When September Ends".** Here it is if you wanna listen while reading my article :). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NU9JoFKlaZ0 I've intentionally waited till September ends so I can write my very first article for this month (October). I don't need to ask someone to wake me up :). Same with other writers, I am here to document my September BCH earnings and progress here in read.cash paltform. This is the first time I am writing a summary report on how I progressed in this platform so far. I thought that creating this kind of monthly summary is very helpful in the future whenever we tried to look-back on how we have continuously progressed in this platform. ***This actually reminds me on one of the admin tasks I usually do way back when I was a domain lead in my former employer. I extract our monthly metrics, do the trend analysis, identify the points for improvements and challenges, prepare a report using PowerPoint presentation and presents them into our Client.*** When I tried to trace back my very first published article for the month of September, I really had .... `distraction #1: My toddler suddenly cried and woke up from his sleep. I will lay beside him first so he can latch and goes back to sleep.. to be continued.` `<back at 12:41 AM>` Thanks to my below short post (enclosed in red box) which I explicitly mention the first day of BER months. This help me identify the first article I have published for the month of September (the article enclosed in green box). Total number of articles published: 27 articles I was surprise to learn that I am able to publish a total of 27 articles last month (hurray!). That means, I almost tend to publish 1 article per day (another hurray!). I am so proud of myself cause it reminded me how unconfident I am in my early days here in read.cash. Here is the actual cashed out amount I've got in my wallet as of September, 2021. I am able to accumulate a total of **$76.51**. This is expected to be significantly lower as compared with my combined earnings from each articles that I have published last month. This is due to the following reasons: Market being on a bearish run since last week. Some amounts have been spent in upvoting other articles and users that pays a visit and spent some time to leave a short comment in each of my articles. *Apologies for the ones that I've skipped. It's because there are times that I am not able to give any amount because my wallet sometimes becomes FLAT as well :). FLAT also means ZERO.* Sponsorship As of today, I am sponsoring a total of **10** individuals. I know that my monthly contribution is pretty small as compared with the other sponsors here in read.cash but that's what in my wallet capacity so far. And also, I used to express my support on these writers as well by spending time reading their articles and upvoting them (when my wallet has some balance). I am not sure if I will add some more by this month but let's see. And here's my list of sponsors as of this writing. I've got 8 sponsors so far. These are @Sweetiepie , @Bloghound , @Stea , @renren16 , @Pachuchay , @Zcharina22 , @GarrethGrey07 , and lastly, @JonicaBradley (still accepting volunteers here!..ahahaha). What's the plan with those earnings? Right now, I don't have any plans of spending them. I will transfer them from my bitcoin.com wallet to PDAX where I usually do the trading. ***And oh!. Before I forgot, I noticed this since yesterday, I've got the triple one (111).*** ***Many thanks to all of you!. You are one of the reason why I am motivated to publish an article (everyday) whenever my workload permits!.*** I want to express my sincerest gratitude to all of you my fellow readers and writers for your never ending support and for your continuous encouragement to the noob writers in this platform (I'm one of them!). I am looking forward to more interactions with you.

Exhausted Mom and Wife Sept 30, 2021 Hello my dear readers and fellow writers! I just want to express all my thoughts in here about how exhausted I am yesterday both as a mom and as a wife. Pressured at work If you have ever bumped into the artcile that I have written yesterday about being the subject matter expert, you might already understand where the pressure is coming from. I felt flattered that my manager considered me as one of the SMEs at work despite of my tenure with the team. I am with the team for 2 yrs and 5 months now yet my Manager considered me as one of the SMEs already. Yesterday, I became very anxious when my Manager told us the other day that we are going to have a call with one of the big Boss and we have to represent the application that we're considered to be good at. That meeting with the big Boss was supposedly 10:00 PM last night. Before the meeting, I've prepared the materials that I'll be using in my presentation. And 2 hrs before it, I and my other colleague conducted a practice session. We tried to time each other and see if we are able to cover everything that we need to within the alloted time which is 15 minutes. Our audience and commentators are our three newjoiners. We seek help from them and ask for their comments and recommendations after our practice call. We're really tense at that time. After the practice call, we already fixed ourselves. We dressed up. I also put a little lipstick so that I won't look so pale in the camera. Everything is ready. And we agreed to dial in 5 minutes before the scheduled meeting. 9:55 PM, when we are about to dial in, our Manager suddenly chatted us and informed us that the meeting will be postponed cause the big Boss is not available. I felt releived somehow. Atleast we still have more time to prepare. Exhausted wife While I am busy preparing for the meeting, I just suddenly heard a commotion downstairs. My husband got mad to my kids when he saw them using their gadgets without asking our permission. Early in the afternoon, he confiscated the kids' gadgets for not being so nice to each other as siblings. They fought all the time. My daughter is showing disrespect with his brother while his brother is also not being so nice to her. He spanked 2 of my kids with belt. I approached thrm and asked my husband what is it all about. But then his madness intensified and spanked my kids once more. When he is about to do another sttemot, I have stopped him already. I told him that spanking the kids once is already enough. We had a bit heated conversation because of that. He left and went to the ztore without leaving any words. While I, faced my children and talked to them about their violations regarding the usage of gadgets. After that, I went back to my work and continued reviewing in preparation for my presentation. My husband came back at around 7:00PM. I did not talked to him till we go to bed. He slept with my 2 kids in the other room. Exhausted mom Despite of my busy sched at work, I must still have to allot some time assisting my daughter with her assignments. In a daily basis, everytime I finished working, I asked my 2 kids if they have assignments. But everytime I asked my daughter (grade 2 student), she couldn't answer me hence I always have to check with her teacher if they have assignment. I even asked the teacher to post their assignments in the groupchat cause not all students have guardians during their class. Just like my daughter, she's attending the class without me on her side cause I also have work during her school time. After dinner, instead of spending some time to rest, I will have to assist my daughter with her assignments. Their modules are accessible from their portal but of course since my daughter is just 7 years old, she don't know how to navigate through their oortal yet, unlike my son who is already in grade 6. There's just some time that I felt do tired after work and wanted to rest but I don't have a choice. I have to assist my dsughter cause no one is available to assist her except me. I tried to ssk my husband one time but he refused to and told me "di ko alam yang mga ganyan". I think that would be all for now. Thanks for patiently reading my rants. Please don't get me wrong. Despite of being so exhausted sometimes, I still continue to strive for my family. My family is my top priority. Before I end this, I wanted to share with you this beautiful rose. Flower helps set my mood and hence each morning, I go and visit my flowers and here is one of the best bloom I've got.

Subject Matter Expert - S. M. E (How shall I manage the pressure?) Hello my fellow readers and writers, how are you doing? `It's 42 minutes passed the hour of 1 o'clock when I started writing this one.` I am having trouble sleeping hence decided to make my anxious time more productive and divert my attention to writing rather than to over thinking. The Sudden Meeting Last night, my Manager arranged a call with me and my two other colleagues. He informed us that tomorrow night, we'll going to represent the applications that we're considered to be as **SME (Subject Matter Expert)** to one of our BIG BOSS. Being one of the newest member amongst our three, of course I felt so flattered that I am one of the selected team members to represent our applications to one of our BIG BOSS. It just means that my Manager trusted me so well despite of my tenure with the team. I am with the team for 2 years and 5 months already and I managed to establish sufficient knowledge in some of our applications already. I have redesigned our applications' architecture when we have moved to a new datacenter way back last year. ***Apologies for some I.T terminologies folks. You can just ignore it if you can't relate with what I am talking about.*** My manager briefed us on what needs to be discussed and what needs to be highlighted to showcase our team amongst the other team. And so in my mind, I am already constructing how am I going to present the application that was assigned to me. I am already organizing the flow. However, our Manager told us that we are only allocated 15 minutes each to represent our baby Applications. This time allowance is too small provided the broad level of information that we need to relay to our BIG BOSS. How am I going to discuss all those basic application information to our BIG BOSS in just 15 minutes period of time? This one is really bothering me right now. Aside from that, I was assigned to discuss the knowledge transition plans that we have prepared for our new joiners. Trying to keep calm and relaxed After the meeting, I tried to forget all about it and tried to relax by watching netflix movie downstairs. While watching a movie, my youngest son approached me and told me that he's sleepy already and wanted to latch. So I allow him and in less than 10 minutes, he's asleep already. So we went to our bedroom upstairs. I lay him down in bed, I turned off the light and turned on our AC. Afterwards. I calmly lay down in my bed, closed my tired eyes, and trying to put my mind at ease. However, as soon as I remember the presentation that we're going to do tonight, all of a sudden, I just felt my heart beating so loud and fast! *I can hear and feel the boom! boom! boom!.* That feeling is so familiar to me. It's very the same feeling during my previous job interviews!. Oh my God!. I tried to relax myself and prayed hoping that it will help to calm my mind. I prayed to God to give me wisdom and knowledge during our presentation tomorrow. It's an open camera meeting so I need not to be nervous cause it will surely reflect in my face and will cause distraction with my words delivery. After praying, I decided to go downstairs and prepare a cup of hot milk. While drinking my milk, an idea suddenly clicked into my mind. ***Why not release all these anxious feeling I have by writing?*** So I sit in front of my desk, turned on my PC and started to write. And guess what? It helps. I feel more calm now as compared to earlier. My Strategy While writing this article an idea came up to my mind on what I can do to compress all those information that I have to deliver in just 15 minutes. I will use a diagram that shows how our application is working and then just focus my discussion on that diagram. I am a visual person. What I mean by that is, I can clearly understand a specific application when there's like a schematic diagram in front of me. Maybe I learned it during college . In my 2 years and 5 months tenure with our team, I managed to create a diagram containing the entire connectivity of the application that I tried to understand. I even shared it with our team and presented it to my Manager as well. Focusing in a diagram during the discussion sounds like a great plan to me. I think, 15 minutes will be more than enough on that. All I have to do now is finalize the diagram that I have created last year and that's it!. I'm ready to go!. I guess I am more relaxed now and ready to go to bed. I have emptied my cup of milk as well. Thank you so much again for dropping by and spending some time reading my articles. **Lead image source**: https://www.clearvoice.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/shutterstock_271393532.jpg If you still have more time, you may also want to visit my sponsors page. Come back to us please... It's been few weeks already that I am annoyed with this weird feeling. Weird feeling about a person that left us and then all of a sudden, started to reach out to us again cause she needs our help. I am referring to my mother. Four years ago, my father is an OFW in Saudi Arabia. He is a factory worker there and it's his 10th year already there. He used to come home every after two years and then go back again after few weeks of stay here in the Philippines. It was year 2008 when my father leave us and went to Saudi Arabia to try his luck. Before that, he is a loyal factory worker in Batangas. He was a machine operator way back then. There's an unfortunate event happened in his work area where his machine suddenly malfunctioned. He inspected his machine but then he forgot to put the Safety warning informing others that it is out of order. He was suspended from his work for 2 weeks but then suddenly, the company decided to completely expel him as he has violated one of their safety policies. And as you may know, that will be considered as a demerit in his resume and given his age (40+), it's difficult for him to find similar job because of the age limit that some companies are imposing here in the Philippines. To my father's desperate move, he applied as an Overseas Filipino Worker instead. That's one of the problem here in the Philippines and one of the reason why Filipino choose to work abroad. Foreign countries are giving Filipinos a higher chance of being welcomed into their company as compared with the local companies. Since then, after he finished the 2 years contract, his company always renew it but is giving him an opportunity to go home and visit us (his family). The set-up is like that until on his 7th year there, an unexpected incident has happened. It was June 2015 (I couldn't recall of the date already), when I received an overseas call from my father. He is asking if my mother is with me. I am confused actually after I heard those questions cause as far as I know, my mother is living with my brother somewhere in Rizal. So I asked my father back. ***Me:*** *Isn't she with my brother"*? ***My Father:*** *She left yesterday without asking your brother where she's going.* *Your brother is at work actually when she left and she just told your bother's wife that she will just go to the market to have some manicure.* *She just sent me a message saying "Magpapakalayo layo na ako, huwag nyo na akong hanapin".* I felt shocked on what I heard. So I asked my father if they have some misunterstanding. ***My Father:*** *Nope. We don't have any misunderstanding. In fact, I just sent her 30,000 PHP few days ago.* I immediately tried to contact my mother but he's cancelling my call. So I texted her instead. I am trying to convince her to go back and just fix whatever her and my father's misunderstanding are. Weeks have past and it was my birthday when I received a text message from my mother greeting me a Happy Birthday. I texted her back and again, convincing her to go back to us. I asked her why did she left but she don't wanted to tell me. I asked her if she's with someone or other guy, but she denied. I stalked my mother's FB account and there I noticed this guy who is our neighbor in our province. He is constantly sending like to my mother's post. He even leave some comments expressing his admiration towards my mother. I told my father what I've discovered. And my father told me that he also has the same suspicion. After few days, I tried to contact her again. But she's refusing to answer my call. I then texted her: ***"Ang bait bait ni tatay bakit mo sya ginaganyan".*** Then she replied: ***"Akala nyo lang yun".*** So I texted her again: ***"Nay huli na ito. And my last text to her was (these are not the exact words but these are the thought of my message to her). ***"Kung sino man yang sinamahan mo, sana alagaan ka nyan hanggang sa pagtanda mo. Huli na ito nay. Huli nang pangungulit ko sa iyo. Kung talagang desisyon mo na iwanan kami, wala na akong magagawa"*** And since then, I never attempted to contact her. One day after couple of years, I have received a call from my sister who is residing in our province. He suddenly mentioned that my mother visited them. She's constantly visiting them. And then one time my mother brought them to her place and there, we have confirmed that the guy I am suspecting before as the reason why my mother left us is there. They are living together since she left us!. My mother even asked my siblings to call him **"Papa".** ***What a heck right? Really? Why are you asking my siblings to call him that, he is not our father!.*** Those are the words I wanted to tell to her!. The pain just suddenly ate my heart again. And then last week of August, I have received a chat message from her. We're not friends in FB cause she created a new FB account, hence her message went through the "For Review" list in my messenger. Just look on the way she chatted me. As if I am the sinner one. ***Walang pasikot sikot, straight to the point but there's a bit of panunumbat as if we're not treating her as our mother at all.*** I do not believe that she's a covid positive so I tried to reach out one her neighbor to confirm her reason. And her neighbor told us that she's not covid positive. Just had some fever few days ago. She said she even saw our mother in the market few days ago. Still, I gave her 1,000 PHP. After few weeks, she sent me another message again. Asking for another 2000 PHP. She said she needs to undergo SWAB testing for her to be able allowed to work again. Her guy is jobless hence she's urged to work in her parlor for their living. Since I have knowledge as well on the process once a person was tested positive in COVID, I then replied and said that ***SWAB test is free, it's shouldered by the LGU.*** I knew about it because I also asked one of my cousin who has tested positive in COVID-19 as well. The LGU shouldered her and her son's swab test. The LGU even ration them some food. Below is the snapshot of our conversation. Of course, I know that it's just another alibi to get some money from me. I know that my mother is a Great Liar. Hence I do not believe immediately on whatever she's telling me unless I have a proof. I am typing my response to her and what I typed in was this: ***"Umuwi ka nalang Nay. Para matigil na yang pamomroblema mo sa pera. Tatanggapin ka pa naman namin ulit."*** When I am about to send it, my husband came and saw it. He then asked me to delete it and do not send it because for sure she will not leave that guy she's currently living with. Until now, all I want and I pray is to have our mother back. I know that my father will not be able to immediately accept her again but eventually, I know that she will be forgiven. My father has a strong faith in God and hence I know deep inside in my heart that it will not difficult for him to forgive my mother (once again). ***Apologies my dear readers for this dramatic life story of mine!*** Lead image source https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JBaVVfdusUU/VAMiTDVNfbI/AAAAAAAAAA0/5l-AUueqqBc/s1600/broken-family.jpg

Sundate : A Quick Family Dine Out `Happy Sunday everyone! Days flies so fast, its September 26, 2021 already.` *I started writing this one yesterday evening (Sunday) after cleaning our dishes but I failed to publish it.* Since it's weekend, we normally just let the kids sleep all they want so we do not wake them up in the morning. Same with me and my husband. My two kids are sleeping together in one of our room while me, my husband, and my youngest son are sleeping together in my mini-office room. It is my husband who usually get up first on a Sunday hence he's the one who prepare our breakfast. He got up at around 10AM in the morning. He cooked steamed rice and just opened a canned century tuna (flakes in oil) as his and our eldest son and daughter's viand. While I, will have to wait till my youngest son voluntarily unlatched before I could be able to get-up. Cause if I forcedly woke him up? It's a complete chaos in the house for sure. We (I and my youngest son) finally was able to get up at around 1PM (yes it's afternoon already). I am so hungry by then. I just had this grilled dried fish as my viand for my breakfast. Aside from the fact that it's so easy to cook, I prefer this grilled version of dried fish over the fried version cause I loved the smell of it. And I am actually trying to avoid oily foodies as well due to my GERD. *It's been our family's habit to go out on a Sunday for a quick date or bonding.* *Prior the pandemic, we used to go to church together but since children are not allowed in any establishment today, we just normally go for a road trip or sometimes just burn our time at the parking lot of Shakey's while eating the family's favorite pizza.* After eating, my husband fixed our kids one by one. My eldest son took a bathe first and then my husband assisted my daughter and my youngest son to take a bath and fixed them afterwards. While I am cleaning the kitchen and watching our dishes. I am the one who took the bath late cause I have to clean the entire house first. I don't want to leave our house messy. I want our house clean before we leave so that when we arrive later on, we will be welcomed by a clean rather than a messy house. It's more relaxing to see your things organized and clean. We are able to leave at around 3:30 PM in the afternoon already. We initially planned to go to Tagaytay to have see the overlooking view of Taal Volcano. However, due to the heavy clouds, we have changed our plan. I even posted this in noise.cash. We have decided to buy the family's favorite Shakey's Pizza and Chicken n Mojo of course!. And as usual, as soon as we get there, me and my kids stayed inside the car while waiting for my husband who ordered our food. And as mentioned above, kids are not allowed to enter in any establishments here in our place yet so what we usually do is go to the rear parking of the Shakey's establishment, and we eat our food there. That parking at the back is usually empty hence my kids can roam around all they want there. Here are the food that we always order in there. First in the list is the Hawaiian pizza. And then next would be the Chicken and Mojo. And lastly, this one (I am not sure how it's being called but this one is also tasty). After eating, we just let our kids roam around the parking area since it was just around 5PM by that time and the heavy clouds for some reason are gone. It is an open parking with one acacia tree that gives us shade so the kids are really enjoying walking around. And then after awhile, since the establishment is near a Mall (Waltermart), I decided to went there by foot and go to Expressions (a stall that sells school supplies). I supposedly buy extra pencil cause last week, my eldest son is complaining about his missing pencil. however, it's out of stock already so I bought some ball pens instead (always in my list). After that, we immediately went home but we stayed 30 minutes in our store first. It's already dark when we went home, I believe it's around 7:30 in the evening already. Since the kids are still full, we just let them eat the left over chicken as their dinner. We did not forced them to eat rice anymore. While me and my husband ate a cup of rice each with steamed Pechay leaves as our Viand. After eating, I proceed with cleaning the kitchen while my husband is watching Netflix movie in the living room. And that concludes our Sunday. However busy I and my husband are during weekdays, we still always try to allocate our Sundays with our kids. We want them to grow up thinking that Sunday is Family Day. It is the day where everyone needs to spend quality time with the family despite the hectic or busy schedule. Many thanks for your time reading this diary-like article of mine.

Things That I've Experienced During My Childhood Date: September 25, 2021 Hello Everyone!. I thought I won't be able to write an article today. I've been occupied with multiple house chores the whole day. This idea came into my mind while I am washing our dishes earlier. I am busy cleaning the kitchen when all of a sudden, I heard a glass fell on the floor in the living room area. I immediately checked on it and was a bit worried when I learned that it was my toddler son who accidentally fell the glass. It might have slipped from his hands. I immediately asked my eldest son to pick up his sibling and put on the sofa while I take broom and dust pan. I cleaned the floor and went back to the kitchen to finish cleaning. That incident suddenly flashed back my childhood cause way back when I was a kid, when I broke a glass or anything that's fragile, my mother always went hysterical and she will spank me to death. I think she has some kind of anger management issue cause every time I made a mistake, she's not contented spanking me once. She will spank me till she consumed all her energy. So guys, today, I am going to feature the spanking materials that my mother used to me during my childhood. You heard it right, only my mother spanked me a lot during my childhood days. My father didn't even laid his hands to me despite the severity of the error or mistakes I've done back then. He is a loving father. *Uyo ng Niyog.* I don't know what is this being called in english. I tried to use google translate and it says "coconut husk" but in tagalog, it's called UYO. This is basically a dried part of the coconut we usually used as firewood. Because it's always available in our kitchen, this is my mother's favorite spanking material. She will just grab one, tear a small/tiny piece of it and that's it. It's like whip (latigo) whenever it lands to my thigh. I can still imaging how painful it is till now. ***Paklang ng niyog*** I don't know how it is being called in English as well but same as the first one, this are always readily available in the kitchen cause we use it as our firewood. This one is more painful and more harsh. In fact, I have a very memorable story which flashes back every time I see this thing. I was in grade 1 back then. My mother and father are living in Manila, while I am living with my Grand Mother and Grand Father together with my aunts and cousins. Before our flag retreat in school, my aunt who is my classmate as well in Grade 1, handed over me her umbrella. We have the same umbrella before. So while waiting at the playground, I played with those two umbrellas that I am holding. I used them as my support side by side while I jump as well. Unfortunately, my aunt's umbrella got broken. I was so afraid that time cause for sure my Grand Father will be super angry at me. As expected, my aunt immediately told his father (my grandfather what has happened) and so my grand father took a piece of that thing ang started to spank me. He was so mad at me. He didn't stopped until I peed on my shorts due to the unbearable pain (I am just 5 1/2 years old that time). I am jumping in pain - so much pain!. ***Hanger wire*** Can you imagine how painful this one is? To me? super!. To the point that I will start crying and beg my mom *"wag po, di na po uulit"* even when she didn't even spanked me at all. Unfortunately, my mom (as previously mentioned) has some anger management issue, so despite of those intense crying and begging, she will still spank me till her energy fades. ***Sisiw ang plastik na hanger dyan..kasi yung plastik na hanger nababali.*** ***Belt*** I'm sure this looks so familiar to you. This is the most common spanking materials parents usually use to their kids. I tasted this one as well. I cannot even count how many times my mother used this to me. ***Rubber Slippers*** Mina mani-mani ko lang ito noon. Unlike the first three I mentioned above, the pain caused by this one is more manageable. I am just acting that I am in so much pain but the truth is, I can actually manage it. ***Tree branches*** It's been my habit every afternoon, as soon as I have arrived at home, I will run through our neighbor's house to look for playmates. We have a lot of activities back then like playing "tumbang preso", "agawan base", "baril barilan", "bahay bahayan", "chinese garter and a lot more". But then as the eldest, every afternoon, I am the one responsible in refilling kerosene to our kerosene lamps and light them up one by one. We don't have electricity in our place back then. But of course, as a child, we can never avoid sometimes that we wanted to play more. So what my mother will do is, she will shout loudly calling my name "Kingking!" angrily. And even before I reach the step of our house, he's already waiting for me in the middle of the road with a tree branch (usually from a guava tree), and ready to spank me as soon as she reaches me. ***Broom*** There are two types of broom that I have experienced being spanked before. We call them in tagalog as Walis tingting and Walis tambo. I don't know how they are being called in english, so I will just show them to you. Walis tingting: https://filfoods.weebly.com/uploads/1/5/1/8/15180970/s669071679269131133_p857_i1_w304.jpeg This is not that painful at all. Just same with rubber slipper, I can manage the pain caused by this one. **Walis tambo:** http://cee-enterprises.com/1820-large_default/walis-tambo-soft-broom.jpg This is the one of the most painful spanking materials for me. See that woody part of the broom? Just imagine it landing in the different parts of your body. ***Siguradong Latay Pagkatapos. Minsan may pilay pa.*** How about you guys? Have you experienced being spanked by the aforementioned things as well? ***I am not saying that I am a bad or stubborn kid during my childhood days kaya ganyan kadaming pamalo ang natikman ko. Nagkalatay na muna ako..Hehehe.*** If you're looking for more articles to read, kindly visit my sponsors' pages. 1000 Views Goal Achieved!. Before, when I do see somebody sharing their "number of views" achievements here in read.cash, I always say to myself *"Kailan ko kaya maachieve yun?"* , or, *"Aabot din kaya ako sa ganun kadaming views?"* I couldn't specifically recall when did I started here in read.cash. I had to check my mail for me to learn that my read.cash account was created last March 11 (Thursday), at 09:19 AM (local time). I've learned about read.cash via noise.cash platform. I've seen multiple posts from different noise.cash users about their newly published articles in read.cash. Out of curiosity, I created an account without asking for any assistance from any noise.cash users. After I have created an account, I tried to write a short article. I do not know about any rules in read.cash yet and I didn't bother to explore as well cause I am more focused and enjoying much with noise.cash cause I have my cousins which are also members of the mentioned platform. As you can see, my first article didn't get any upvotes and no one bothered to leave a comment as well. But I am so happy that it got one (1), yes, only 1 like. After two months, I tried to publish another article. Again, this is quite a short one. I don't even count how many words are there. Same with my first article, this receives NO upvotes and empty comments at all. This time,I've got 3 likes (yehey!...still an improvement!). After few weeks, I tried to publish another one. I am really struggling to publish a lengthy one cause admittedly, I am not good in writing. I keep on thinking that time that maybe, this read.cash platform was created for real bloggers only and noob and no knowledge in writing at all like me has no place in here. It was first month of August (last month) when I have attempted to write another article again. I wrote about my vaccination journey. This time, I have written it in Filipino. I felt so comfortable in writing this time that I didn't even noticed that I am able to complete an article that composed of 1, 454 words (excluding the title). And guess what? I've got upvotes and some comments this time. My first upvoters are @LucyStephanie and @AltheaFayre . Thank you so much to both of you. You've been part of my read.cash history. Despite the upvotes that I've received, I felt demotivated again cause I thought maybe nobody wants my article despite the effort that I spent in writing it. Then one of my noise.cash friend (a.k.a @Pachuchay ) cheered me up and motivates me to continue writing. I learned that she's already an old user of read.cash. She stopped for months and has just made her come back during that time. So I tried it again and posted another article, I think more than a week after I posted my first tagalog article. And tried another one after few days. After I have published that article, I've got my first sponsor! (Ayieee)..Actually, I do not have any idea about the sponsorship program of this platform by that time. But I am so much thankful that I have already one person that trusted my ability. This platform really tested my patience. I've already published 10 articles but none them got greater than **$0.20**. Highest one so far **$0.15**. I didn't stopped. I continued publishing. I have published my 11th article entitled "**The level-uP story**" . In this article, I have featured how our small business has progressed so far. https://read.cash/@Khing14/the-level-up-story-5089db5a I will never forget how excited and happy I am when I saw from my notification that finally!. The Random Rewarder has visited my article. I felt so motivated since then. I have observed from other writer that they used to publish 1 article per day. And I tried to aim the same. Although my earnings are still small as compared with the earnings of other writers in this platform, I still try to strive achieving my goal of publishing one article per day. And then last night, while scrolling down my notifications, I saw this: It's very unexpected. To be honest, I didn't expected that I will reach the **1000 views** this soon!. That's why I am jumping with joy right now :). As of this writing, I have published a total of **42** articles already! This will be my 43rd. `Wait what? 42? Oh My God!..I can't imagine I did that much already!..` I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude to all of you who are always there, leaving comments, giving likes, and upvoting my articles. Without you guys, I will not achieve that number. And of course, to my lovely sponsors who first trusted me. I guess, that would be all for today. Thank you so much for your time.

F.L.A.M.E.S. I know some of you knew what this article is all about upon seeing the title itself "F.L.A.M.E.S". Can you raise your hand if you're one of them? Alam na alam ito ng mga naabutan ang 90's na katulad ko. During our adolescence stage where we started to feel and understand the word "CRUSH", lahat gagawin para lang maramdaman mong may pag-asa kang iCRUSH-BACK ni Crush. FLAMES is a game we used before to predict what's your status with someone. It's like a relationship calculator or predictor. Uso ito na ginagawa ng mga babae or lalake sa mga crushes nila. First, let's identify the corresponding word that each letter in FLAMES represents (this is based on my knowledge and experience). F - Friends L - Lovers A - Angry M - Marriage E - Engaged S - Soulmate *FLAMES is easy to play. There's 3 easy steps involved.* Gathering of Materials. In this game, you will only need a piece of paper and a pencil or a ballpen. This is more fun to do with your friend so try to gather them around as well . You will need to write down your first name and your flame's first name in a piece of paper. And then proceed with the next step. Matching Letters. Check any letters from your first name that has matching letter from your flame's first name. Cross them out. Count the remaining letters from your first name and so as to your flames name. In my example, I've got 3 uncrossed letters from my name and then 1 from my flames name. Sum-up the results. 3 + 1 = 4 Know your FLAMES status Given the total count of the left-over letters from your first name and your flames first name, count it against the FLAMES word. If the total count is more than 6, just continue counting by going back to the letter F. In my example above. I've got 4 in the total count. So, I will start counting from letter F till I reached the number 4. As you can see, the number 4 ends up in letter M which means **Marriage**. I'm so kilig that time of course kasi yung name na paulit ulit kong pinag-mamatch ay name namin ni husband (ultimate crush ko sya during our high-school days). I also tried to do FLAMES sa full name namin. But when I did it, it falls in number **5** which is equivalent to **E**=**Enemy** so nagstick nalang ako dun sa firstname results which is **Marriage**. I tried to do a research if meron na bang version nito online and to my surprise, meron nga!. I saw this one : https://www.flamesgame.xyz/ You just need to enter your name and your partner's name (or crush's name) and then click on "CHECK FLAMES" afterwards. And just look at the result!..It's M = MARRIAGE. I was so amazed that there's an online version of this already. Though when I check, there's just a little discrepancy on the meaning of each letters. From what I leaned during my high-school days, A is equivalent to Angry whereas in the aforementioned site, it is equal to Affection. And then to me, S is equivalent to Soul Mate while in the site, it's equivalent to Sister (Sibling). I've also checked how the site calculates the result and looks like it's a bit different from what I've learned and I've practiced during my high-school days but surprisingly, it's giving the same result. Anyways, however you played it before, nakakatuwa pa din alalahanin yung time na kikiligin ka kapag ang result ng FLAMES ninyo ni CRUSH ay **Lover** or **Marriage.** How about you folks? I hope you have enjoyed reading today's article of mine. As always, I want to express my gratitude to all my lovely sponsors who trust me first in this platform. You might want to check their pages as well. They have lots of interesting articles there.

My Most Beautiful Nightmare Happy Wednesday Every one! or Shall I rather say a Toxic Wednesday?. I've started my morning ranting in noise cause our stay-out helper is absent again. At ang masaklap, bayad kasi ang absent nya as long as sakit ang dahilan..* *Sa tingin nyo guys, tama pa kaya na ipagpatuloy namin ang ganung set-up na kaltas sahod lang kapag personal na lakad ang reason ng pag absent?"* Anyways, I don't want to spend my days with negative thoughts hence I decided to write an article about this very memorable dream that I had when I was around 11 to 12 years of age. I believe I've mentioned about it on one of my interactions here in read.cash. I Became Tambourine Dancer During my teenage days, I am very active in church. Maybe because our house is just few steps away from the church. I am Born Again Christian (Church of God) ever since cause my father and his family are also Born Again Christian. I grew up very active in our church. I always attend Sunday's school and participates in every single activities in our church. I've been the tambourine dancer (leader) in our church. Every Saturday (weekends), I am committed of going to church to clean the entire church in preparation for the Sunday service. After the cleaning, me and my team will prepare for an intermission dance. We always do the intermission dance every Sundays. We are 6 in the team (5 years-old being the youngest). You heard it right, in my early age, I opted to teach tambourine dance to up to 5 years-old kid. I learned about tambourine dance when a group of missionaries visited our church. They stayed there for more than a week. On their stay, aside from preaching the Word of God, they also thought us how to dance with a tambourine in our hands. I remember, we've been using plastic plates that time cause we do not have the actual tambourine yet. Our church was not able to finance for the tambourines right away. I am the youngest in the group that time. Since then, I am already playing tambourine in our church. I never stopped even though all my other pals who were trained by the missionaries already stopped cause they have entered their adolescence stage already. So to form another group, I trained 5 other kids (younger than me). That includes my younger sister. We have a session every Saturdays. I am very patient with them and I can really feel that I am enjoying doing teaching them. I love playing tambourine cause every time I tap it, as my mentor said, it is like we're also whipping Satan. And in our every swivel of it, it's like we're hurting Satan so much. I felt like I am a real warrior of our church every time I play tambourine. My Weirdest Dream Going back to the topic, we grew up with father being far from us because he is working as factory worker in Manila back then. He just went home like once or twice a year to visit us. As opposed to me being so active in church, my mother is very lazy to go to church every Sunday. You cannot see any single excitement from her face unlike me and my siblings where we're so excited for Sunday because of the Sunday's school. When I was in Grade 6, I was hooked in reading the bible. It started when our Sunday school teacher introduced a contest to us. First contest is "padamihan ng marerecite na memory verse". Of course as per my strategy, I scanned the bible (Old and New Testament) and find the shortest memory verse I can recite. Aside from the fact that it's easy to memorize, I will be able to recite more memory verse for a given time limit. But when I bumped into Revelation (Pahayag), I've got this big interest to read all the chapters of this book. Why? Because it tackles mostly about the second coming of Jesus Christ. There's one night that dreamt about Jesus Christ. *Yes you heard it right!.* It's my most memorable moment cause I saw him face to face - *as in buhay na buhay*. The dream was about his second coming. I saw thousands of people following him, wallking in the road with him (including me). And then when we're already in front of our house, I quickly came inside and approached my mother. I tried to convince her to come with us but he is refusing to. I tried and tried but she really don't want to -- and then I suddenly woke up. I was very sad thinking of it when I woke up. I am sad that my mother didn't go with us (walking with Jesus Christ), but on the other hand, I am very happy and felt flattered kasi sa dami dami naman diba ng mapapanaginipan ko, si Jesus Christ pa talaga. I am thinking that God might want to send me a message thru that dream. I tried to recall how his face looks like in my dream but I couldn't. I couldn't remember any single detail of his face. All I can recall is that He is wearing a white clothes. That dream became very memorable and so special to me. However, I am still uncertain about the message that God might wanted to convey with me. For all of the people, why did I dreamt about my mother not wanting us to go walking with Jesus Christ? Nobody knew about that dream (not until this writing). I never told it to my father neither my mother cause I am afraid that they will just ignore it and they will not believe me at all. How about you? What's your weirdest dream ever? Thank you so much guys for spending your 5 minutes reading my article. Before I end this writing, I just wanted to extend my gratitude to all my sponsors who always trust me and my ability to write an original content article :).I am no good in writing (no doubt on that one) but I am trying to improve day by day.

BCH Trading Challenges : I've lost more than $40 in just 7 days I started to learn about cryptocurrency way back when I was in Tata Consultancy Services about three years ago. We were forced to take online trainings regarding cryptocurrency, bitcoin, and some other alt coins, big data, cloud and any other topics that are all related to the current technology. I just took those trainings just for compliance purposes. At the end of each trainings, there are exams that you need to pass before you can mark it as complete. Since I am not interested at all during that time in the cryptocurrency world, I just click the next button of each slides without understanding the context and just forwarded directly to the exams. And since I don't have proper understanding about the topic, I cannot recall how many times I have to take the exams (if I may recall it correctly, more than 10 times I think). Luckily, there's no limit in the number of take. I even tried to cheat like I am taking screenshots of each questions, tried to check google for the answer and then on my another attempt of exam, I will just look for my cheats to make sure that my answer is correct. In other words, I am able to complete all those mandatory training without understanding it. And then last January of the current year, I don't know what came to my mind that I just suddenly got an interested to learn about the concept of trading cryptocurrency. I have shell out 1000 PHP ($20) as my initial investment. I have bought 3 currencies using it. I bought BTC, XRP, and BCH. I invested to these three currencies cause I've watched a video tutorial advising newbies to invest on multiple currencies to gain more profit. But it ended up me focusing on BCH and XRP only as you can see from the below trading movement. By that time, I do not know about noise.cash yet and hence I am using my own money in my trading. But them around mid Feb (I cannot recall of the exact date already), my youngest sister learned that I've been studying on how to trade using cryptocurrency and that's when she introduced noise.cash to me. She asked me to register to coins.ph first and have it verified before I register to noise.cash which I also followed. And started then, I tried to save all my earnings from noise.cash. But there are times that I am forced to sell some due to some personal family financial matters. I continued saving and HODLING my BCH earnings till last September 3, 2021, I decided to sell 0.359 BCH at the price of 34,000 PHP ($680). And as you can see from the below, that is equivalent to net earnings of 12, 206 PHP. The next day, I am able to sell my remaining BCH earnings 0.109 BCH at the price of 35,000 PHP ($700). At this point, all my BCH earnings from noise.cash have been sold already. All in all, I am able to accumulate a total of 16,021 PHP from those transactions. But then last September 13th, when I noticed that the BCH price trend is looking good and going into GREEN direction, I bought 0.534 BCH at the price of 31,000PHP which is equivalent to **16,620.22** PHP. I though the BCH price will continue to rise but unfortunately, the bullish market has ended too soon. I am supposed to sell all of them again when the price hits 35,000 PHP ($700) but looks like it's not happening yet within this week. As of this writing, the bid price of BCH is at 27,208 PHP only. If I am going to multiply it with 0.534, I will only have 14,529 PHP. Which means my total lost as of this writing is around 2,091 PHP ($40+). But of course, part of trading is having more patience. I know that our price direction is going down at the moment, but I have a BIG faith that BCH will go into BULLISH run again and hence I will just HOLD my assets and wait till my target price of 35,000 PHP ($700) has been hit again. I am still noob when it comes to trading but slowly, I am trying to learn from other's experiences being shared in this platform as well. That would be all for now. Many thanks for dropping by and spending some time reading this one. I am not able to sleep and hence to make myself productive, I thought of writing an article that's somehow related to the current dip. I just want to extend my gratitude for their trust and support on my writings as always.

Virtual Learning : The Good and The Bad We all know that one of the main sector in our government that has been impacted by this pandemic is our school. In the early stage of pandemic (March 2020), school have been forced to finish their school year early when the government mandated the lockdown for those areas where the local transmission of the virus has been identified and confirmed. When the school year 2020-2021 started, most of the schools from the civilized area preferred to have the online schooling. What is Virtual Learning? Virtual Learning is a distance learning where the teacher and students uses digital technologies (cell phones, laptop, computer, or tablet) and internet as their primary means of communication. They are physically away from each other. Two types of Virtual Learning or Distance Learning. **Synchronous Learning** This is the type of learning where the teacher and students are interactively doing their lessons via live video conference. The set-up is very similar to face to face, but the only difference is that the teacher and students are physically from different locations. **Asynchronous Learning** As opposed to the synchronous learning, in this type of distance learning, the teacher just provide the reading materials to its students, give them instructions and then provide them the list of questions they needed to submit within the provided deadline. Good Side of Virtual Learning 1. Enhanced Digital/Technological Skill on both Teacher and Students. I have personally witnessed this with my two kids. Prior to the online schooling, they are not that confident navigating mobile cell phones and gadgets. But as they go on with their online classroom, day by day, their digital skills have improved. They even learned how to use the messenger and zoom. On their second year of being in an online classroom set-up. they no longer require any assistance from me at all. 2. Ability to access school courses anytime and anywhere. As for my kid's school, they managed to build a portal where a student can access their learning courses, assignments, and activities anytime and anywhere. All they need is a cell phone or computer and an internet. Submission of their assignments and activities are also done online. This is also very helpful with the parents during the review before the students' major exams. Parents will be able to help review their kids as long as they know the exam coverage since the reviewers are just one click away. 3. Helps with time management. Since students are no longer required to go to school, it saves time and effort for both the parents and the students. Let's say for example, instead of having 2 hours preparation time (1 hour for fixing themselves and 1 hour for commute/travel, they can definitely save 1 hour from the travel time. 4. Offers more flexibility This applies on Asynchronous type of distance learning. Students have more flexibility of their time. They can take a break whenever they feel overwhelmed with all the knowledge they are trying to digest and then go back once they are on mood again. This help lessen their stress as they are not time pressured. It gives them opportunity to understand their lessons well. 5. Teachers are just one chat away Since teachers are required to make themselves available at all times whenever their students needs assistance, reaching out to them is not a problem anymore. They can simply post a question on their group chats and their teachers are always ready to help. 5. Risk Reduction Of course during pandemic, there is a high risk of catching the covid-19 virus specially on those areas where number of positive cases are very high. Online learning reduces risk from the virus and hence it is very beneficial nowadays. Bad Side of Virtual Learning 1. Extensive time of exposure to radiation Of course we know that this is the number one disadvantage of online learning. Students tends to stare on their screen for their entire school hours and hence exposing their eyes to radiation. 2. Prone to Online "Kopyahan" or "Cheating" Since teacher are not able to see their students while answering their quizzes or exams, this gives students the opportunity to cheat specially with the asynchronous distance learning. But in my kids' case where they are enrolled with synchronous distance learning, their exams are done live where the teacher will ask the question online and students are just given specific time to answer online as well (orally). It's like an online recitation. Only disadvantage of this is, we know being a student, we have strong and weak area in each and every lessons per subject. If the question that was asked to you is with your weak area, then you'll have an unfortunate score. But if the question is within your strong area, a perfect score can be expected. 3. Reduced Concentration or Engagement with the Teacher I believe it's undeniable that some of the teens attending online classroom are actually playing online games while pretending to be listening to the teacher. There are also some who eats on their desk during their class. And, there are also some who play toys while their teachers are talking. They are tempted to do such thing cause the teachers are not around and not able to see what they're doing in the background, specially when they are bored with their lessons. 4. Technical Issues This is one of the BIG challenges of the distance learning. Some students struggle to catch-up with the topic or lessons due to weak network coverage in their area. It also happened multiple times that my kids teachers are forced to suspend their classes whenever there are network outage in the teachers' place. I believe there are few more good and bad side of virtual learnings that I haven't mentioned yet. But I just wanted to say as well that regardless of the current set-up of learning, it is important that parents should still give their full support to their kids. They must always guide their child and remind them how important learning is. Lead image source: Unsplash

My Home Remedy Kit! What's on your List? **Are you also a fan of Home Remedies?** **Yes I do!.** Before we go through my list of home remedies, let us first check what does the word "home remedy" means. According to Merriam-Webster dictionary, home remedy means ***"a medicine made with ingredients available at home"***. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/home%20remedy Another definition from the same site is ***"a simply prepared medication or tonic often of unproven effectiveness administered without prescription or professional supervision"***. It's been my habit every time my kids or my husband complaints of any discomfort, I do a research and apply different home remedies before finally going to the doctor if there are no improvements at all. Let me just list some Home Remedies I have, or I've been applying. Lemon Grass Since my husband has history of high blood pressure, I always make sure that I have this plant available in our backyard. Whenever he felt headache (which is one symptom of having high blood pressure), he will immediately get the digital device we used to check his blood pressure and as soon as the result is greater than or equal 140/100, he will immediately go to the backyard and pick some lemon grass. He boils it with 2 glasses of water and make it as his tea. Lemon grass has been effective to my husband. It is well tested and proven to be working to high blood pressure. Garlic This Another first aid for high blood pressure. I usually prepare my husband 5 raw garlic cloves and dip it to little vinegar and give it to him as his extra viand whenever he felt the symptoms of having high blood pressure. Another use of garlic to us is for toothache. I used to place it inside the whole of aching tooth to lessen the inflammation and pain. Warm water with rock salt This is my another home remedy I used for toothache. Whenever I am suffering with tooth ache, I just gargle warm water with a pinch of rock salt. It helps lessen the pain, and you can also feel a bit of numbness in your gums. Baby Oil / Eficascent Oil I always make sure this is always available at home. When my youngest is still a baby, and he is becoming colicky, I used to massage his tummy with baby oil. I am not a fan of aciete manzanilla as I've read some article previously that it can harm baby's internal organs. I always perform the "**I Love You**" **massage** which is effective to him and help him to pass some gas. For those who are curious what and how this I Love You massage is being done, here's a video tutorial from YouTube. https://youtu.be/nUNzi9PYBwc Now that he is already a toddler, I still do this "I love you" massage to him whenever he complained about achy tummy, but I am already using eficascent oil because he can bear the menthol effect of he said oil already. Ginger Since I have GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), ginger has always been my first aid whenever this sickness attacks me. I just chop medium size ginger and boil it into a cup of water, and then drink it as a tea. It helps sooth the stomach pain caused by the acid. It also helps me pass some gas afterwards. Calamansi This is helpful every time one of my family member has cold. I usually squeeze 5 to 10 pcs of calamansi fruit (depending on the size of the fruit) in a glass of lukewarm water. Then add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of sugar for it to taste like a juice. I used to prepare my kids a glass of calamansi juice whenever I have stock calamansi in the kitchen cause sometimes, it's also out of stock. Oregano I always have this in my little garden. This is my partner every time my kids has cold. I will just put 3 pcs of oregano leaves in a hot water and then squeeze it in a spoon, add it with a little bit of sugar to fight the bitter taste and then give it to my kids who have cold. Serpentina My husband also drink this as his tea for his high blood pressure aside from the lemon grass. He just put in 5 pcs leaves in a glass of hot water. Wait for about 5 to 10 minutes before drinking it. He said, it has a very bitter taste. My father who is also a diabetic use to drink serpentina as his morning and afternoon tea because he believed this has some good effect on his blood sugar. How about you? What's your home remedy list and to what ailment do you normally use them? Many thanks for spending some time and effort reading my article. **Lead Image Source:** Own Photo
