Pouring rain was sometimes disastrous to many but to me as a kid was a chance to enjoy nature to its coolest breeze. I loved running through out the rain in the middle of plain rice fields, catching the rain drops that falling in my face while gazing up to the thick clouds in the sky. The cold showers from the rain waters flowed down to my body rinsing out the dirt from the whole day doing my kiddy stuff.
Here comes the children running across the field, throwing off sleepers and chasing each others. Screaming out loud as if rejoicing for the coming of the rain. My friend and I decided to stroll along the rice field beds, looking for edible snails to take home for food. We searches every nook of the field beddings to collect more of it. We loved to stay under the rain untill our body shivers from the cold.
It's my nostalgic moment this time. I can't help but smile when reminiscing those innocent times being a worry free soul. When we feel exhausted and drained with our day to day struggles they are coming back like rains in our memories.
There in the river banks we choose to stay, waiting for the muddy water from the mountain to meet up in the river beds and together they rise above. Though the raging waters was for sure dangerous, but to us it was a miracle from above. We imagined the flowing water as one of our chocolate drinks and ended up to a giant mouth. We envy that giant for there is plenty of drinks to satisfied his thirst.
But being in adulthood with lots of responsibility was at hand we can't enjoy and do that anymore, for now time is precious to just standby and watch the falling rain with all the day we want too. Responsibilities dragged us to cut off ourself from being the innocent self we used to be. We can't control that event in our life though. We called that maturity.
But sometimes we too need a break to recharged and shrugged off those draining stress of our everyday labor. Pampering our tired body was a way to give important and to acknowledge that we did a job well done. Don't be too thrifty treating ourself. Love thyself and it will love you more, what I mean is if you are healthy, happy, inspired and satisfied you can possibly do more and be successful.
If you happened to observed how does the rainfalls drops from above maybe we can learn from it. Usually we expect a rain is coming when we witness the dark thick cloud displays in the sky. We can predict by the appearance of it, if it may bring a hard rainfall or not. But sometimes our expectations was not just exact to what we expected. Though we saw a dark thick clouds up in the sky it does not always means a hard rain is coming, sometimes due to the wind breeze the accumulated thick clouds slowly scattered through out that makes the disappearance of the rain bearing clouds.
The rhythm of the falling rains was like a music in my ears. Nostalgic of my innocent days was alive, the easy kiddy in me was cheering inside. Celebrating each drops with smiles, rain dances with the wind around rocking the weather with proud. I loved how's my night spend while raining hard outside.
Our life was full of unexpected challenges, troubles are everywhere so we must be vigilant and ready in facing this obstacles. We should be strong for our journey was still long, no one will know when will be the end of the path that we are walking through. Just like the rain, no one really knows when will be the real down pour of it. Do not let the images deceive you, it may not as true as you think and don't rely on it.
Message:
Not everything we see was the truth, dig in more to unfold the truth beyond. Like the rains when it comes, we always assumed a mere water and disaster it will brings, unnoticed the good benefits of it to other beings.
