I'm arresting her, she terminated my pregnancy

Hello beautiful people!

The weekend was sweet for me even though it went as usual, no regret at all. Hope you had a sweet weekend as well?

I came across a trend in one my news channels about a young man that's seeking advice on what to do after finding out that his girlfriend terminated his pregnancy without his consent even after telling the lady to keep the pregnancy. He's seeking advice because he feel like arresting the girl.

He said it like this:

I have been seriously contemplating, she Aborted my pregnancy after we both went to hospital confirmed it and we both agreed to keep the baby.

Moreover I really need the child, she connived with her sister and they Aborted it. I'm thinking to go the Police station to make a report and arrest her!!

Please should I?

For as much as I know, this case is double edged, He has right to arrest the lady and in other aspect, he must be silly.

• He has right to arrest the lady

In Nigeria, whether the abortion is genuine or not, abortion it's an offense to the law(illegal). He has right to arrest the lady and charge her to Court for murdering his unborn baby as long as the lady agreed that he did abortion or there's an authentic proof of the man being responsible for the pregnancy.

Infact I've seen movies that such thing happened and the man always won, so if the man is smart about his moves, he can succeed. Smartness here means the man having all evidence of the rightful owner of the pregnancy, but if he goes to law with ordinary mouthful claim of the pregnancy and the lady in question happens to deny it, it's gonna be tough for the guy to win....afterall the pregnancy has been terminated already. Worst comes to worst and if the lady is smart, she might decide to come up with stories that had a miscarriage and ofcourse the Doctor that did it would support her because no one would like to be dragged.

Abortion is illegal even though it's rampant. That's why doctors, most especially "one cubicle" doctors hide to e engage in such, so if this man is smart enough with food evidences, he'll surely win.

• The man is silly

The first question that came to my mind was, are they legally married?

Arresting a lady you are not legally married to for abortion could be silly sometimes because at first, there's no law stating that her body belongs to you. Infact going for such case in this my country will attract laughter even from the judges 🤣.

The report of the guy stated that the lady is his girlfriend and not legally married, so It could be that the man want to make the lady a "proud baby mama" and the lady doesn't want that.

The best thing for the man to do is to let the situation slide because it's obvious that the lady is no longer interested in the relationship or getting tied down.

If the man decide to arrest her, the chances of the man loosing is sure if he's not well equipped with evidences and this case the lady may decide to play with the man's intelligence afterall the pregnancy is gone already and I don't think there's a way to test an already terminated pregnancy (what am I saying self?🤦).

The man should go and rest, find something to do and get a lady that's ready to produce children for him.

But, what's really happening in our World today, pregnancy & relationship issues here and there, don't People use contraceptives or what are they expecting as end product when they go r*w.
