Want to cook fried banana? Here's how?

Cooking is a talent and a skills to learn. I always says I am not good in cooking but I can cook in some ways.
I and my sibling were grown where our parents are cooking banana cue to be sold in the school or within the Barangay. In short, selling banana cue is one of there source of income before because my parents don't have a regular job.
My father will be the one to cook it and my mother will be the one to sell it. As we grow, our mother will cook it and I or my younger siblings will do the selling.
I still remember that sometimes I felt shy before but my mother will always encourage me by saying, "why you feel shy? you did not steal it." So everytime I will bring that little basin with banana cue inside I will always put in mind that i shouldn't be shy because we never steal it and we are doing it for our own good.
Almost all of us, me and my siblings experienced selling banana cue in our Barangay. As we walked along the way, we will shout, "***Saging init pa***" (Banana cue, it's still hot).
Those experience help us to have confidence and learn the value of every peso. In those moments we understand how difficult to find money. We also learned to save money in that time. If we could sell worth 50.00($1) my mother will give us 10% of it. It means we will have 5.oo and we will put it in our piggy bank.
One day, we have a ripe banana and I crave for fried banana or banana cue. I checked our oil and it's just little bot enough to cook a whole banana. I checked our brown sugar and we have a lot. My cravings really push me to cook. I ask myself if I still know how to do it. We never cooked before for selling but we are trying to cook if we wanted to eat some and we are trying to imitate how our parents do it.
I still pursue cooking but this time I cut the banana in half because I have limited oil to make sure it will be cooked.
**Let's start cooking**:
Step 1. Heat the pan first.
Step 2. Add oil and make it hot.
Step 3. Add or sprinkle enough sugar. I just estimate it. Don't put the sugar in one place but scattered it evenly. Wait until the sugar will go up.
Step 4. Put the banana. Never touch it for a while, just let the banana absorb the sugar and then turn it on the other side. Mix or turn upside down slowly until the whole banana turns red and it is done.
Step 5. Remove and drain. Then ready to serve.
After cooking, I felt so happy because I was able to cook fried banana or banana cue. My husband was happy to found it in the table when he got home from work and then he asked for some coffee to be paired with it and we have our home made merienda.
It is easy, right? Try to cook banana cue at home.

Reasons why I'm absent here for more than two weeks

Time management is needed to make all things done but sometimes time is not enough to make all of them.
Hello my dear read.cash family. I miss you all and I am happy that someone is missing me around. I don't know if you miss me too. Anyway, how are you? The weather now is like summer, the scorching sun is sometimes unbearable. Supposed to be we are now in wet season but it seems summer extends until these days. Cold, cough and fever are now common these days again so let us make our immune system more stronger.
I'm back for now and I don't know if I can be here most of the time like before. Why I am absent here for more than two weeks? Here are some reasons:
My son already have classes.
Many of my read.cash friends knew that I am a full time mom and a housewife. Last September 5, my son classes already started and I need to accompany him in school. During those time that I am in school, I cannot find enough time for my cellphone because parents are the one to prepare and cook for their merienda and for this week, I am one of the assigned parents to do it even I am not good in cooking. I am just assisting my partner to do it. I have a hard time managing my time being a mother, a wife and a writer (Oh! am i a writer, lol).
Before, morning is a time for house chores like doing the laundry but this time I can't do it in the morning because we are in school, so, I used to wash clothes in the afternoon now. Afternoon is my usual time to write an articles here before but now, I am trying to find time but most of the time I can't.
I tried another blogging platform
Some of you also knew that I tried another blogging platform and this is also one among the other reasons why I am absent here. I am trying to be active there because I am still learning and still considered myself as a newbie. I need to learn more about it as it is more difficult than this platform. I don't know if other users also finds it more difficult like me. I also have goals in another platform that I need to work for so I can achieve it.
Putting some limits
We're busy or not, time won't change. If we do nothing, time will just go and wasted. If we were busy, time seems so fast.
I can say that I am busy from doing house chores to taking care of my son, from accompanying my son in school to being his home teacher and from writing here and there. It seems that there is no time wasted but still time is not enough.
We need to manage our time not only for side hustles, not only for our family but also and above all things for our self and our health. I really wanted to do more, to push myself more than the limits but most of the time our health won't allow. Every action we take always gave back a consequences. Id we don't care ourselves then sicknesses will follow but if we take care of it, then we could prevent some sickness. That's a lesson I learned after suffering some weaknesses, sickness and changes in my health after pushing my self to the limits.
For now, I choose to rest and relax if my body said so but not with laziness. I am trying to love myself and be concerned with my health.
Maybe some will say, I need to do this and that because I have need to attain something but sometimes while we are trying to reach some golds but some circumstances will happen and we cannot have it. We have different ways of hustling and that's how I managed mine. I am still amazed to those people who really work hard and sometimes I could ask them "can you still sleep with that?"

Child's happiness

***Child's happiness is a parents happiness too.***
Our Barangay will celebrate Pinyahan Festival. It came from the word Pinya which means pineapple. Our Barangay name is Cannery Site. The production and canning of pineapple products of Dole Philippines Inc is located in this Barangay. In short, one of the biggest company in our Municipality is located in this Barangay.
Since the festival is coming, there were lots of activities and "peryahan" can be seen near the Barangay Hall.
There were lots of rides like ferris wheel and alike. Our friends, our neighbors, my siblings had been there and we saw their pictures being posted in social media. I saw how happy they were. I can see that they enjoyed walking around, eating some food and riding some rides.
My son saw some of their pictures and keep on telling me that we should go there too. His friends which is our neighbor keep on telling stories how they enjoyed being there that keeps him more curious about the place and make him more eager to visit the place.
One evening, his father told us, let's go to the "Peryahan". Yeheeey! thank you papa, my son shout for joy and he rushed to let me clean and dress him up.
While we are in the tricycle, he keeps on telling thank you papa, atlast I can ride on rides.
When we reached there, he runs out of excitement and I can saw it in his smiles. We visited there Wednesday evening and few people visited the place and only the ferris wheel is moving among many rides. We didn't ride on it because we thought it wasn't safe for our young son. We went to other rides and waited that they will open it.
I and my son rode in a ride perfect for kids. It is just moving clockwise and going a little bit of up and down. My son enjoyed the ride though at first he feel worried and he said thank you to us for letting him rode that one.
We also play gun shooting but unfortunately we only hit 4 and we needed to hit 5 balls before we could get some prize. It was a nice experience for us too.
Then we went to the food corner. We ordered some siomai, siopao and mango shake. My son wanted to eat sweet corn. My husband told him to ask how much the price? He then obeyed and he said 10.00 and we let him buy one for himself. My husband told me that we need to teach him how to interact with other people, to talk to them and he should not be shy to ask. I gave him 50.00 and he also get the change.
Our son keeps on saying thank you to us. We are so glad that he know how to appreciate simple things that we did for him. We know he enjoyed and he had so much fun.
When we go home he said that hopefully we could go back there again soon.

I thought it was a condominium

Hello my dear read.cash family. I am so inactive these days because of the errands I have to do in the outside world plus the limit I put as a way of loving myself and not to compromise my overall health. But, I will always be here as long as I have some time. I just want to thank you for always being here for me. Thank you so much my dear sponsors for staying in my sponsor's block.
Last Friday, the mother of our churchmate died. We were amazed how God works in her lives. She is not sick but she stays long time in bed might be because of her age. She is 83 and supposed to be 84 yesterday. Her family specially her son requested our Pastor to come over and prayed for her in the same day. The Pastor prayed to God that thy will be done for the life of Lola Sayung (not her real name). The Pastor leaves around 12:45 in the afternoon and Lola died at 1pm. We were amazed by the power of prayer. We were amazed how God wants His children to come to Him. We thought that Lola Sayung offered her life to the Lord after a prayer and God let her sleep and He will wake her up again when Jesus comes.
In our church, we used to give time to comfort the bereaved family. Upon knowing it, we also felt sad because we will miss Lola Sayung but in the otherhand we could say that she rested in peace.
We asked where we could offer a funeral Service and the family answered that they are in the St. Peter Chapels in General Santos City, a city next to our Municipality.
We travel around 40 minutes before we reached there. Upon reaching the place, the guard stood in front of the door and asked, Are you a family? We answered yes and then he said, next time come here early because the visiting hours is until 8pm only. Oh! so sorry sir, we don't know yet this rule. Luckily he allowed us to enter though the time is already almost 9pm.
Upon entering, my eyes widened. In my mind, are we in the right place? Because I thought it was a condominium or a hotel. It is so big, so wide, so solemn and as we walk in the aisle I found rooms with numbers and you cannot see what is inside unless you will look in the little portion with glass or if you will open the door. Honestly it is my first time to enter St. Peter Chapels. If you cannot see tarpaulin with pictures telling us that someone died for sure you will thought it was a condominium.
When we entered, my amazement go on. The room is so quiet until we reach there that makes it a little bit noisy. The bench is so good and I jokingly said, we can have a movie marathon here.
We had a little talk with the family before we had our funeral service. I honestly told them that it was my first time to be there. I was so amazed in the place and only to found out that some of my churchmate are same with me that they thought it was a hotel, lol. Just excuse us for it, lol.
The service started with a song and a prayer. Some offered a song of comfort and our Elder offered a message of hope. We also pray for the family.
In the situation like this, our sympathy, our presence is enough to give some comfort for the bereaved family. Sometimes a little tap in their shoulder, a simple hug is enough to show our sympathy.
Death is unpredictable so we should always pray and ask God's forgiveness for all of our trespasses. Let's show our sympathy to the bereaved family. Giving our short time to be with them in these trying times is so precious for them.

What do you have for God?

You and me are God's people. We are His creation, we are His children and He is our God, our protector, our Lord and Saviour. He saved us, He love us and we have to give glory and honor unto Him.
Last Sabbath, we visited another church because my husband has been invited to share some message. To support him, I and my son go with him. We then also invites two young people and my sister in law together with her daughter.
Visitors are always given a part in the Sabbath Program. The Master of ceremony or we call it presider or leader requested us (my family) to offer a song. Since we are not singers, I decline and told him that instead of us, our two young people will offer a song for the Lord. They are singers and they really sing well.
**In the church of God, everyone has a talent, everyone has a purpose and everyone has something to give or offer to the Lord.**
Some are good in singing and they can sing praises to the Lord. I am amazed with these children, these young kids who are in their young ages they already use their God given talents to glorify Him. The youngest in their group I think is 4 or 5 years old.
These are a group of young people who also offer a song to the Lord, the giver of life and a giver of their wonderful and lovely voices.
I am always happy to see kids and young people who use their talents to glorify and give praises to the Almighty God.
Me, I am not good in singing but I can talk, so, I can read Bible verses and can offer a prayer.
My husband is not good in singing too but he can share God's word. He read Bible verses and share it to others. He shares God's word and messages for us. He encourages us to keep our faith, believe in God and follow Jesus example.
**Closing thoughts**
God gave us different talents to be used for His glory. He gave others a good voice to sing. He gave others talent of speech that they can easily share the message of God to others. They can talk in front of many people with courage. Others are given beautiful smile that brightens people life in just a simple smile. Others have given riches to support and help the needy.
You cannot say you don't have talent because God gave everyone a talent. Sometimes we can say I dont have a talent but give time to work for the Lord and you will know what do you have for Him, you will know what you can share, you will know what you can give and you will know what you can offer to glorify Him.

Birthday and Boarding house blessings

Life as well as things that we acquired are both a wonderful blessings from above and we should be thankful for.
Last Sunday August 14, I received an invitation from a friend and a churchmate before. She is inviting us to attend the 5th birthday celebration of their son as well as boarding house blessings on August 18, 2022. We are blessed and happy being invited by them because I know this person that she is not comfortable of inviting a lot of people but she is inviting just a few closest friends. This is also a chance that we can visit their place again after almost 2 years of lockdowns.
A day after, my sister in law asked me through a chat if we were invited by that friend. I told her yes we were invited and she told me they are invited too. So, I told her that we will go there together.
Yesterday is the celebration and based on the invitation, the program will start at 3PM. It's already 3PM but still we're in the house, I am waiting for my husband who's out from work is 3PM too plus the time spent for traveling. So he could reach home around 3:15PM.
When he got home, I borrowed his cellphone and call my sister in law where they are only to found out that they are just waiting for my call. She said she won't go there if I won't. So, I told her move fast and we will go because for sure few are just invited.
My son is still sleeping that time so I wake him up so we can go there. We went straight to the venue and found few people there.
The program not yet started because they are still waiting for the Pastor who forgot his appointment. While waiting we took the time for taking some pictures and when the Pastor arrived, the program started.
Part of the program is giving the history of how they acquire a boarding house. The owner told us that when they have a money enough to buy a car, she really want to buy a car for their family. But her husband told her that a car will need a lot of maintenance and it cost them big. The husband suggests to put up some business first so they could have some income and have a source of fund in the future. She agreed with her husband and they decided to put up a boarding house. First they have only one room, it becomes two, becomes three, becomes four and now becomes five. Their goal is 20 rooms and they will be working out for the next 15 rooms soon.
That was a great decision they made because having a boarding house is a big help for them every month. We are so happy for them too.
After giving the history, the Pastor gave a message that reminds all of us that what we have acquired here on earth comes from God. We should not be boastful for having it because we are not the owner but instead its from God. He reminded us that we always praise God for all His blessings and be thankful for everything that we have. He then offer a prayer for the celebrant as well as he blessed every room of the boarding house.
After the program, a Pastor offered a prayer for the food before we partake it. There's a lot of food being served but I just choose those viand which is free from meat. The Pastor is a vegetarian so they also prepared vegetarian menu. I choose it because aside it is more healthy, I seldom eat it because only few people are vegetarian.
I felt so full last night and kids enjoy it too. Kids were given packed food and it contains spaghetti and fried chicken as what kids love. They also given juice and party bag that contains chocolates and candies.
It was a great time to spend with friends, church mates and even to our Pastor who already forgot my name. Might be because he is old enough to remember my name or might be because we didn't meet for almost two years.
**Closing thoughts**
If someone invites you, give time for it because you didn't know how they value your time for being there.
Business or source of another income is a good choice too over your wants but still it will depend on someone's priority.
This is just a story telling of what happened yesterday but I am so grateful because you still gave time to visit and read this random article of mine.

We need rest

Hello my dear read.cash family, I am so inactive these past few days. I am a little bit busy in the outside world because since Sunday evening I am attending a health and gospel seminar. Usually I used my vacant time in the evening to interact here or to be present in the online world, but these days until Friday I will be spending it to listen health and gospel seminar. I felt good about it too because my screen time was lessened and my eyes could rest and free from radiation for a few hours plus I learned more about health and gospel. http://read.cash

The topic last night is about rest and I decided to share it with you.
Rest is very essential not only to animals but most above all to humans. We really need rest to restore our drained energy. We also need it for our overall health.
Daily Rest
We are so active everyday from doing household chores upto doing our work or specific job. During working hours we are using our energy to perform the task we needed to do and finish in a day. We feel weary and our body really need rest.
At the end of the day, usually in the evening, we give our body a time to rest by sleeping. According to seminar last night, babies need 20 hours of sleep and that's the reason why babies keep on sleeping. It is essential for their growth. Children needs 10 hours of sleep while adults needs 7-8 hours.
Nowadays, only few people or specifically adult got this sleep requirement and me myself is guilty on this because usually I only have 5-6 hours of sleep.
The speaker told his story that when he is young and his family is living in the mountain, no television, no cellphone, no electricity, they can sleep early and wake up early giving their body enough time to rest.
When our body get enough time of sleep, it will give us energy and better feeling during the day. But if we lack of sleep, we have less energy making us less productive.
It was also advised that we need an hour to two hours to let our digestive system done its work before we go to sleep. Many reacted and laugh because most of us go to sleep even we are just done eating. Indeed it was a great reminder for all of us.
Weekly Rest
God who is the creator of the universe, make himself a model to have a one day rest. He made everything (day and night, firmament, sun, moon and stars, land and seas, trees amd flowers, fishes and animals, human) on six days and on the seventh day He rested. He also blessed and sanctified it.
God knows that we human needs rest and so He gave us a specific day of rest. This is also the reason that employee's should be given one day rest.
If a machine needs a day or days to rest to have its maintenance how much more you and I who are humans? We really need rest too. So, let's give time for ourselves to relax and have enough rest.

It's my birthday

Birthday is a special occasion that we celebrate once in a year. This is the date when we was born. A day that our physical age added another one more year.
Some celebrate this with a great feast, others celebrate with lot of foods, others celebrate by going out and unwind in the beach, in the mountain or any tourist spot that will relax the mind. Some will go to the mall, to the restaurant, to a fast food chain. Some celebrate it with prayer and thanksgiving. Most people celebrate it with family, friends and relatives.
Birthday is a special day to offer special prayer and special thanksgiving to the giver and owner of our life.
I started my day with a prayer. I talked to Him who is the giver and protector of my life.
I offered thanksgiving for the gift of life. Because of His protection I have another one more year to celebrate. He protected my life since day one until today.
My birthday wish, hope and prayers
**Good health**
We all know that health is wealth so I really asked God for good health. We really need good health for everyday because we cannot do anything if we are sick. We cannot do a simple step towards our goal if we are lying on bed because of sicknesses.
**Knowledge and wisdom**
We know that He is the only source of wisdom. So, I asked Him knowledge and wisdom that we need everyday, to help me to decide what to do, what step to take and above all to help me descern what is right and wrong.
I also need knowledge in writing an article so I can continue to share my thoughts to you.
**Strong faith**
I am asking God to strengthen my faith as I really need it. There are times that we almost stumble because of problems, trials, challenges and temptation. Let us strengthen our faith with God's grace.
**Guidance**
Sometimes we are following and stepping to the wrong path, that's why we really need God's guidance in everything we do, we think, we listen, we see and even what we eat and drink.
**Peace and happiness**
In God we can find the real peace and happiness. He can give us peace of mind as well as a happiness deep from our heart so, I asked him peace and happiness.
**Blessings for everyone**
Lastly, I asked Him to bless us abundantly with good health, long life, happiness and peace of mind. I also wish that He will give all our needs and give us the desires of our heart.
I may not have a lot of money to have an expensive birthday celebration but I am so blessed to be able to wake up today with good health. I am blessed to have my fmaily with me who are always there for me. I am blessed to have a brethren and friends to be with me anytime I need I need someone to talk to. Simple happiness in online world

Happiness is something that can be found everywhere. Different things can makes you happy. It is either you're happy because you were able to do the things that you wanted to do like cook and eat your favorite food, buy your needed things or got what you want.
Happiness can also be attained with your loved one its either a celebration, a picnic, a movie date, a swimming on the beach, a jogging, biking, camping or any activities with your families.
Happiness can be felt too when you are satisfied for what you've done and for what you have.

When I started doing side hustle in the online world, simple things will also makes me happy.

I am not good in dancing too so i just make a simple step like making my hands forward, backward simultaneously in an alternate manner. Posing your hands like a boxer or like your doing boxing lol. Just imagine my actions lol.
I felt so happy because one of the curators in hive notice my blog and voted it. It is the first time since day one so it really amazes me. It might be not so big for others but for me it is really enough to makes me happy.

Cold weather makes me lazy

Different weather gives us different mood too. Sometimes our mood will vary depending on the weather. Though not all the time but believe me, it makes me change the mood and plan sometimes.

The weather is not favorable for how many days past. The rain is here for how many days now. Last Sunday, we have a plan to go to the tailoring shop to pay a 50% down payment for them to start working for it. But unfortunately the rain drops and we were not able to go there. It really makes me lazy to go out, to travel and do a task outside of the house. What I did was I stayed inside and cook something that I craved. At least I have done something that made me satisfied.
Yesterday, Monday morning the weather is not favorable. The sun didn't shines but still I need to do the laundry. I do the laundry but I didn't finished everything. It also rains in the afternoon and again, we were not able to go to the market. We were not able to do the task we needed to do for that day. I just stayed inside while my husband doing some land preparation for his small garden. He did it in our small garage bringing all the socks and soil there and leaves it so dirty. He did it so he could do something in that afternoon. He hates to have no accomplishment in the afternoon, so he finds way to do something.
Last night it's so cold that instead I will read some articles to interact and engage in two platforms, I choose to wear my terno pajama wrap myself with a blanket and sleep early than usual. A cold weather really pull me to bed.
Early this morning, I woke up early but still the bed is pulling me to stay there for a long time. I can't go out to my blanket because of a very cold weather. But being a mom who needs to cook, I push myself to wake up and cook for our breakfast. I also hand wash some lingeries I haven't done yesterday.
After doing some laundry, we went to the Daycare center and pass the requirements of my son for enrollment. Gladly his teacher was there because last week we go there but she is not around.
Closing thoughts
Cold weather really makes us lazy if not all the time let's just say sometimes. Laziness sometimes will win over us. But when laziness will push us down and we can't do what we are supposed to do that particular time, learn to find another thing to do. By doing so, our time will not be wasted and we will become productive despite of the cold weather.
Let's learn how to divert our laziness into a productive one. If there are things that we really need to do, then we should and don't let laziness win over us.

A great welcome for a Sunday morning

Sunday is the first day of the week. It is the first day in the calendar. But most people considered it as the end of the week or weekend because most people don't have class or work during this day. It is also the common rest day because most of the employee have their day of rest on this specific day. Some will take this day to sleep more as usual and be in bed for more additional hours. This is also the day that most people can do their laundry as this is the only day available in the week. This is also a day to have a weekly cleaning operation in the bedroom or the whole house.
Sunday is also called as a family day. This is the day where a family can have their time together. A family can go to church together and thanks God for the blessings He had showered for the rest of the week. A family can also watch movies together while enjoying some pop corn and other foods. They can also go to the mall and do shopping or groceries.
How about you what is Sunday for you?
Anyway, for today's article I would like to share how a sunday morning welcome me.
I woke up late this morning because I sleep late too last night. We went to another place to visit a churchmate whose her father recently died and we offer a funeral service, giving some songs and messages for comfort.
I wasn't able to cook early and didn't even heard the alarm. But life must go on, I need to cook even I woke up late. I prepared everything and cook food for breakfast.
After cooking, I opened my data and checked different blogging platform. I am happy to what I have seen and it is **a great welcome for a sunday morning.**

I am happy to found in my notification that the @TheRandomRewarder visited me yesterday. Do you know why it makes me happy? It makes me glad because I was absent for two days or I mean I haven't published an article for todays, Friday and Saturday. I am so happy that he didn't forget me despite of my absence.
Though it is not that big compared to others but I am so grateful about it. We have to be grateful for any blessings either it is small or big.

Grinding makes my eyes aching

The sun is up, the weather is favorable. This is very good to those who do the laundry today.
Hello my dear read.cash friends. How are you? I hope you are all well and blessed today. Eat healthy foods and let's strengthen our immune system. Monkey pox is everywhere. It already reaches our place and people affected it isolates themselves. Anyway, that's not my topic for today. That is just a friendly reminder that we still need to follow health protocol and observe proper hygiene all the time.
I and my son got home from his school. We go there because I planned to pass the requirements for enrollment but sad to say the school is close. Might be we will go back there next week.
When I was in high school, I do have an eye problem that push me to have an eye check-up and I ended up to wear an eye glasses. At first, it seems that I am crying because my eyes become teary. Might be because I am not used to have an eyeglasses until such time that I am used to it. It is hard to have an eye glasses because sometimes I am studying and fall asleep and it broke a part of my glasses.
My teacher told me that after a year if my eyes is okay, I won't wear eyeglasses again because the grade of my eyes will go higher. Fortunately I felt well and never go for another check up. Until I was in college I never wear eye glasses again. But one day, when I am so busy with our thesis and I have long screen hours my eyes ache again. I felt nausea and I felt dizzy. It resulted an absent from school. So I relaxed my eyes until I feel well again.
These past few weeks when I landed and started in hive, I had a very long screen hours because I am trying to learn and making some blogs or articles. I felt dizzy and nausea again. My eyes is aching. I also sleep so late at night. My husband noticed it and explained to him that I am learning another blogging platform. I am asking his understanding this time because I can't wake up early to help him prepare for his work. I told him that I am like in training for a new job. Someday, I will know how to do it and will adjust my time.
I had an anti radiation glass before but I never use it. Now, I tried to use it and glad that it helps. When I didn't use it, my eyes felt tired easily. I also have a blurry vision right now. Might be if I have enough fund, I will go for a check up again.
I told myself to manage my time well and never push myself more than the limit. Hopefully I can sleep early, I am so guilty of not taking care of my eyes since I become busy learning and grinding in different platforms aiming for a goal that will help for our family.
Grinding and aide hustle is good but we also need to take care of our eyes and our health as a whole. Good health is our capital for everything. If we will lost it then how can we grind and do the things we usually do?

My 20 days journey on Hive

Hive is another blogging platform where you can share your thoughts, learn by reading and you can earn as well. Hive was introduced to me by @tpkidkai . He helped me to have an account there last June 2022 but I posted my introductory post as my first post last July 13, 2022 and I considered it as a beginning of my hive journey.
My first 20 days is not easy. It is so difficult to understand its operation. Honestly, even until now I still didn't understand everything about it. Anyway, learning is an unending process and I'm sure I will have a lot more to learn.
When I first write my introductory blog, it takes me a long time to do it. Thankful to have a mentor who was there to help me and guide me to make a long and informative introduction. My first blog was a success and I am so happy about it. It encourages me to write more but still I can't write one article in a day. I will write as long as I have enough time to write. My son and my family also needs me so I have to divide my time to do so.
My first 3 blogs got (hmm i dont know how to call it? Is it hive? or hbd?) a good number though I didn't understand how it functions yet but seeing a high number will make me happy.
I know I am not a good writer but I am trying hard to be one or atleast trying to give my best to share my thoughts. I usually write about life experience as a daughter and as a mother.
Earnings in hive will not go directly to your wallet but you need to wait 7 days before you can have it. So, in the beginning patience is a need and off course all throughout your journey you have to be patient in everything.
My fourth to sixth blog didn't get that much as the two blog didn't even reach one. But then, I am happy during these days because I learn to participate in the contest initiated by a community. I joined first in the ladies of hive contest but I forgot to put my link in the contest post which is one among the requirements. It's a lesson learned.
The blog 7 to 9 gets a good number. Two of them is an entry to a contest. Hiking to Kafok peak got the highest number among 12 blogs that I posted. I almost jump out of happiness upon seeing that number.
In hive you can only get upvote within 24 hours from the time of posting. While here in read we can get upvote anytime from other writers and 3 days from Rusty. Just correct me please if I am wrong.
Music brings messages is also an entry to a contest. In hive there will be a contest weekly in different communities. I am glad to participate on it because it will help you to write a certain topic and it will save you to think what topic to write.
I only posted 12 blogs in 20 days but I am happy for it. I never thought I can write that much.
As of this writing, I have 24 followers and I am so much happy to have them. I never withdraw anything yet because I still have few hbd and I used some for power up. Maybe at the end of the month I will try to withdraw and I don't know yet how to do it. I will be asking to our read.cash friends who already tried doing it.

Time flies so fast that we are now in the second month of the third quarter of the year. Next month the ber months will start again.
July is the most low earning month both in noise.cash and read.cash not just because of my inactivity but also because of the low market.
Even we are facing crisis, I would like to thank these amazing people who never leave me in these trying times. See you there will always remind me to strive and continue to write as long as I can.
In July, I only published 18 articles which is lacking two articles based on my 20 articles target. Laziness didn't hit me for not achieving that goal but busyness. In July 13th I started my Hive journey and this makes me busy because I was like a new hired employee having my training. I felt difficult landing on it and honestly until now I am still learning and I am still on training. I am just glad that some of my read.cash friends were also there and they helped me to learn some points about it.
I reached to the point that I felt vomiting because my eyes is already aching because of long screen hours. I will just rest for a while and tried my best to continue what I am writing. I usually write alternately depending of my availability since I am also busy with the household chores.
On this month I only gained 21 new subscribers making it 132 from the 111 in the first of July. 21 is not bad because I know that my interaction was lessened in the month of July.
My earning as I mentioned above was lessened and this is the lowest since April. I only got $9 from noise.cash and $24 in read.cash. I only have a total of $33 in one month. Still not bad and I am grateful for it. Where you can find that amount, right? I just hold it in my wallet and hoping the bch to pump so it will have a higher value.
Hello August
August please be good to me. I hope I will have good health always and my eyes won't get hurt.
I will continue posting in noise.cash even I already lost my free tips in the last week of July. Noise.cash is been a part of my daily routine. Posting atleast once a day will do if I am busy.
I will also continue writing articles in read.cash as long as my time will permit to do so. I will also continue learning on hive and continue my so called training.
August please be good to me and each and everyone of us. It's my birth month and I am hoping to have a great blessing this month.
In August, classes will also start. I will have a student soon and for sure my daily routine will change as I need to prepare myself and my son for his school. I have to go with him to the school and for sure I need to adjust everything. I need to wake up early, cook food, prepare my son and will go to school. I don't know if I can still write when classes start but I am hoping so.
We don't know what tomorrow will bring. We don't know what this month have for us but we are hoping to have a blessed, fruitful and great month of August.

Life is short, we know our past but we don't know what tomorrow will bring.
Last Wednesday we had our grand alumni homecoming. I met my classmates, schoolmates and teachers after 17 years. We visited our alma matter once again and there are lots of changes or improvements. It was a great and joyous day.
During that day we talk about our past and see who and what we are today. We have a lots of before and after. I will share some to you.
**Slim and chubby**
Before 99% of the girls were thin, slim or let's say sexy and don't have stored fats in the stomach. Today, most of us are chubby and have layers of fats.
I don't know why most of us during high school were slim and became chubby when we got married. It might be because mother can't skip meal or can't let meal te to pass because we will suffer headache if we do. We really need to eat and most of the time mother eat the most. Might be that is the reason why we became chubby.
I remember when we gave sizes for our t-shirt in the group chat. When we are still students, most of our sizes were small while now, most of us is medium, large and some are extra large. We do laugh at ourselves because most of us gain weight. Their is only one who is still small. We also have one classmate who is chubby before and she loose some weight now.
**Single and married**
One of the question we asked is, who is still single? We found out that we have one girl classmate who is still single at the age of 33. We didn't expect that she is not yet married because during highschool days, she already have boyfriend. We also have 2 gay classmates who are still gay and single right now.
**Good and bad**
We are so amazed to know that we have one classmate who is known to be a bad boy or a bad student before but now we can say that he is now a good man. He is already married, have kids and serving the Lord. Our classmates used to call him pastor but he said that he is not a pastor and he is just a sinner saved by the grace of God.
**School activities and family activities**
When we are still a student we keep talking about our assignments, projects, quizzes and exams but now as we met again we used to talk about our family, how many kids do we have, how old are they, what is their milk, where they did enroll and what are our kids performance. We also talk how our partner (husband or wife) allow us to attend that gathering. Some said that they are just until noon, others said that they are allowed until afternoon and other said their partner allow them to stay until evening to enjoy the said activity.
Silent and noisy
Some of our classmates who are silent before already knows how to go along with the classmates. There are also some noisy classmates who are still noisy right now.
**Leader and member**
Our class president before is inactive in the alumni activities right now. I don't where he is right now and I don't know his reason of not joining. We have a simple classmate before who had an attitude of a great leader and we appoint her to be the president of our batch.
There's a lot more but I think that is enough. Meeting with our classmates after a long time is great to cherish. We really have a lot of things to talk to, from reminiscing our past, talking our present and imagining what will be our future. Indeed it was a great day.

Grand alumni homecoming

I never know what grand alumni homecoming is until yesterday where I attended the first ever Grand alumni home coming of Palkan National High School.
I graduated in high school last 2005. Since then, I never met my high school classmates as like before. Though I met some friends and some classmates but unlike yesterday that I met almost all of us in the batch.
Imagine after 17 years before we decided and give time to go back to our alma matter. It's been a long long years and there were lots of improvements and changes not only in the school but to the students as well.
We have a 50.00 ($1) as registration to help fund for the school project and to be used for the said program.
The program started with a caravan where every batches provided their own banner. Some students already had vehicles and they used it for caravan, others have jeepney and many alumni have motorcycle.
Our batch have jeepney but most of my classmates choose to ride at the top of it. I wanted to join them as I experienced being there at the top when I was still in elementary, i think. I wanted to be there too but I can't because I have my son with me. Yes, I attended alumni homecoming with my son because as usual I am the one who is taking care of him. I can't live him behind and he will not allow me to go without him too.
The caravan started in the school and we pass through the whole barangay and went directly to the next barangay and go back to school.
The history of the school was also given and we found out that there are only two teachers who remain being there. Our teachers before were also invited and we are so glad to see them again after 17 years.
Every batches gave our yells but unfortunately our batch didn't perform well as we hadn't have time to practice for it. But still we enjoyed it.
The lunch was per batch and we had our own tent. Every batch prepared their own food and eat together. It was a great lunch where everyone enjoyed the food while chit chatting to each other.
After lunch, every batches find their way to have pictorial. This is one of the best moments as pictures will give another memories to cherish.
In the afternoon parlor games followed and we had a big bingo game where the pattern to win should be the letters in PALKAN NHS. The winners received kitchen utensils. It was the big bingo game I witnessed ever since where cards are so many and almost everyone have their cards.
The winners was announced in the last part and every batches enjoyed it a lot.
In the evening, their is a live band that make another memories.
Closing thoughts
Remembering the past make us happy and finds it fun talking about the silly things we've done. It is so good to think about the activities, the easiest and hardest subject, the most behave student, the most noisy student and everything we have during highschool days.
This is also a great time to remember our alma matter and give our support for it.

Daily routine

All or almost of us have a daily routine. Routine is doing something in the same way or particular order and you are always doing it.
As a housewife and a full time mom I am doing things almost the same everyday and that is my daily routine.
When I wake up in the morning, I never forget to utter a prayer. A prayer thanking God for keeping us safe all throughout the evening. A prayer asking blessings, protection, strength and health for the day. It is also time to ask His guidance that we may walk according to His will.
Next is to have some personal hygiene and then prepare food. Cooking needs enough time depending on what will you cook. Fried eggs, hotdog, fried fish, milk or coffee and bread is the common breakfast of others as these things is easy to cook and prepare but for my family we always love to have vegetables in our meal so I always cook vegetables early in the morning.
When I am done cooking and my son is not yet awake, I will have time to open earning platforms that I have like noise.cash and read.cash. Its time to have some noise and to read and write articles. When he us awake, I will prepare for our breakfast. My son is already 4 years old but sometimes I need to feed him because if I don't he will finish his breakfast for an hour. So, I always need to assist by feeding him.
Washing the dishes will follow and if it is the laundry day, doing the laundry will follow. This takes time too as I need to hand wash some of the very dirty clothes of son. Sometimes I am not yet done and I will take my son a bath, taking care of him and attending his needs.
Cleaning the house is another one in the routine. Good thing we have just a little house and I only have small space to clean.
Most of the time I am finished doing the laundry almost lunch time and I need to prepare for lunch, eat our lunch and wash the dishes again. Relax for a while and I will let my son have his afternoon nap.
If I felt so tired I will try to have a nap too but I can't and I don't know why. If it is a laundry day then it's time to fold the clothes again. This is the time that a mother or guardian that stays in the home have their time to do the chores that needed to be done without any disturbance. This is also the time I usually write an article and interact in the platform.
Today, I am breaking my routine. I have my laundry waiting for me but I chose to write an article because I wasn't able to write yesterday.
In the afternoon, preparing for dinner is another routine. Doing the dishes again, taking care of my son until he will be able to sleep and then I can focus in my cellphone again.
A working mom have a different daily routine too. A father have his own routine too and I know when classes will start, I will have another new routine to follow.
Being a housewife will always put you in the four corners of the house that's why we need some relaxation time too. Going out, enjoying some nice view or place to unwind, eating some food and some family bonding and recreation is a need for us.

Sunday is...

Sunday is considered as the most common day for rest or rest day. Most employee don't have work on this day and this is also considered by many as church day as well as family day.
Here in our place Sunday is the common restday of an employee. The employee should be given one day rest in one week. Some took Saturday and most people took Sunday as their rest day. On the other hand, we follow to rest on Saturday or Sabbath day.
Sunday is also the common church day for christians. This is the day where most christian family go to church to worship God.
Sunday is also a family day as most people don't have work and they can give time for their family. This is the time to play with kids, a time to eat outside with the family, a time to travel and a time for watching movies together.
Sunday is also a general cleaning day, a laundry day, a sleep day, a movie day, a day for cooking something special and many more to mention.
**How about you? Sunday is what for you?**
Sunday is also a fun day, though my husband still have work on Sundays because he have his rest day on Saturdays but we still had our fun day today or to be more exact we have fun on Sunday afternoon.
My husband and my neighbors decided to play basketball just to enjoy and have some exercise. I decides to go with them too, and why not, right? Why should I stay here in house alone as I want to go out too sometimes. So, I my husband and our son together with our neighbors just walked going to another purok with covered court. When we reached there, there were people who are already playing. So, we decided to go to another purok and fortunately the basketball court is available.
Men have their basketball, kids are playing ball and bicycle in the corner and we women or wives are in the corner just looking at them, cheering and laughing with them.
Our husbands were so happy that they had an exercise and their body released some sweat. They have so much fun too as they keep on laughing towards their actions and most shots didnt get a point.
Wives never played but we had fun in just looking at them. We will laugh when they cannot shoot in the ring and we will shout if they can.
Kids find their own ways to enjoy too. They borrowed a bicycle from another kid who was there and they played basketball too.
After the game, we went home. Some of them ride in a tricycle while me and my husband chose to walk. It's my way of exercise too and I noticed that he walks so fast. I told him to walk just enough for me to walk and he said he is still wanted to run as if he is still playing basketball.
As we are walking, I saw the sky with a wonderful color as the sun just sets.
Sunday is a great day to enjoy. It will depend on us on how we spend it. We can use it for some recreation that will help us to recharge and we will be able to face another week.

Crying lady

What do you want to know about, a crying lady or a white lady? Anyway, have you seen a white lady? If you ask me yes I have seen a lot, those ladies who have fair skin, yes they have a white skin and they are a white lady. Oh! why are you laughing? lol even me laugh what I have write. I am just kidding and I don't know if you find it as a joke. When we talk about white lady the first thing that will come into our mind is something scary and usually found in a horror movie. Some people said that they saw a white lady for real but for me I haven't yet and praying not to because might be I can't run and I will be dead on the spot, lol.
White lady is not our topic for today. I will be sharing to you about a crying lady.
I know someone very well who is a crying lady. Her classmates and batch mates tend to name her as a crying lady.
They have their English 101 subject in first year college and they have a final activity which is to sing a song in karaoke. The main purpose of the activity is to check how fluent or good you are in pronouncing the words. She is not in good singing and she seldom sings alone. She sings in the church together with the congregation. When it is her turn, she don't know what to sing. Unlike her classmates she don't have a CD as preparation for that activity. She only asked her classmates if they have a song "Paint my love". She chose this song because she became familiar with it because she could hear it in their neighbor almost everyday. He sings not in a good tone because she is not good in singing but she managed to finished the activity. After she is done, she cried. Her teacher asked her why? She just said I felt so nervous and worried because it is my first time to sing alone with a microphone.

During highschool, they have a debate inside the classroom in one of their subject. She is not good into it but she have to as part of their class. When the debate is on going, she can't talk very well because her mouth is trembling. She can't understand why it is happening to her. She thought that the person on the other side is making trouble with her. She cried and she can't stop her tears falling.
When they have to defend their thesis she was not able to finished the activity because again she cried. Might be she felt nervous because the panelists ask her a question while the discussion is still going and the rule is to let the team discussed it first before they can ask a question.
She is a lady who cries easily. A lady who cry over a simple things that even other people will say that it is just a very simple things to cry on. She cry easily when watching, reading or listening stories that could touch her soft heart. She even can't understand herself why she is like that. She can't stop her tears to fall. She can feel hurt easily so she could cry easily too. They call her a lady "kapayason ug mata" whose eyes is like a papaya that even a single scratch will make it bleed.
She said to herself that she is not that weak but she just have a soft heart.
Yes, I know her very well because she is Me. I am a crying lady.
Remembering those experiences just makes me smile. Good thing I have a friend, classmates and teachers who are understanding enough to comfort me and allow me to cry until I am done. Until now I can't understand why I am like this and it becomes worst after I gave birth.

Unacceptable reason

There are questions that we really need an answer. There were circumstances happened and we wanted to know why. There are happenings that we want to know why is it happened.
Yesterday morning my husband called me to prepare earlier in the afternoon because when he got home from work we will go to the home lot we are paying monthly.
When he got home, we just have our merienda and then we went to the lot. We traveled around 20-30 minutes before we got there.
I miss that lot. We always visit it before and planted some crops like fruit trees (rambutan, durian, sour soup, jackfruit, pomelo), coconut, banana and some crops like taro and sweet potatoes. We even made a wide chair there so we have some place to relax.
Upon seeing the plants I felt so sad. Some fruit trees died. The coconut lost it leaves and seems it was eaten by the animals. We made fence in it but it was already damaged. My husband told me that the last time he visit there, he saw some cow and goat being tied in the post of our fence. So might be the animals broke the fence and all of them can enter the lot freely. The durian lost its leaves too and we don't know if it's still have a chance to grow and be alive. The sour soup body has a marks of tie and might be animals wad tied in the small sour soup tree. It made it bent because the animals will always pull himself away. The bananas lost their leaves too.
Upon seeing it I really felt sad, if the animals didn't eat their leaves for sure they are grown up with lot of leaves this time.
Our neighbor in the opposite side came out and greeted us and told us that it's been a long time we hadn't visited there. I told them that we are just busy that's why we don't have time to visit there.
I told her that i felt sad because the coconut died. She said that all coconut cannot grow there but in fact I saw a lot of coconut grows in other lot with fence and its already have its leaves grow. I can't accept her reason.
When her husband arrived, I told him how sad I am again. I pointed him the durian plant and he said that it died because we didn't water it. Oh! another unacceptable reason. We transferred it already alive and we leave it alive with lots of leaves and there is one green leaf remains and it is a sign that it is still alive but the top leaves was cut. We don't know who cut it but we thought its the cow who was there near our lot. They said they didn't put their animals there but there is a poop of the cow near the plants.
We felt so sad and disappointed. My husband became angry but he just controlled his anger. He just let it out by cleaning the bananas and he cut the coconut who don't have leaves already.
My husband decides that if we have time, we will have it fenced again so animals couldn't enter our lot.
Its normal that we felt sad for the plants we planted and it died. Might be its okay if they died because we didn't water it but it is so clear that some animals eat their leaves.
Our neighbor never thought that our lot have plants and they put their animals near it. How sad and how unacceptable their reasons are.
But life must go on. We will make another step to protect the lot from animals and we will plant again.

A thought of leaving you makes me sad

There are circumstances in life that tells me to leave you. A thought of leaving you makes me sad, do you know why?
Since day one I came back, I always think of you. My day is incomplete without you. When I woke up I will find time to see you, to talk to you and be with you in a while. Even I am so busy being a full time mother and a house wife I always find time to be with you, sometimes I will just check if you are still there, if you are still okay. I will continue my chores, I will take of my son and work mode as a mother. If I have a free time I will go back to you, check on you again and seeing you being there will makes me smile and makes me happy. There were times that I am so busy that I can't give time to check on you, to be with you for a day or even for two to three days. When this things happen, you can easily forget me, why? Can't you understand my situation? That there is time that I am so much busy and couldn't find time to be with you. I also felt tired sometimes and need time to relax or sleep to give my body to recover. Though you forget me at times and worst leaving me alone, I am still here and will be here for you as long as I can and as long as you are still around.
There are circumstances that will push me to leave you, but I can't. Just thinking about it will makes me sad. So, why should I do things that will makes me sad? I won't leave you. I am just hoping you will be with me again, please comeback and makes me smile. Please don't make me sad Rusty.
When you are not around, here are my friends who is always there for me. I hope someone will fill this block too as seeing them here makes me happy too.

An afternoon full of fun

If you already read my previous article about **a night out** you already knew that we went to a beach last Sunday. It was a team bonding of my husband together with his workmates. I and my son just go with them. https://read.cash/@JenThoughts/a-night-out-d3eebbc2
Since it was holiday yesterday (Monday), they choose to have a night swimming on Sunday so they have time to relax and sleep on Monday. The assemble time is 1:30pm and we depart at 2:00pm. Good thing all of us came to the assemble area on time and we departed early. The travel took more than two hours so we arrived at the beach at around 4:00pm. The team decided to have a merienda first before they will start their activity. We enjoy the merienda being prepared. After eating, some prepared for dinner and the rest have their team bonding through games.
Since I am not an employee and I don't belong to any groups they asked me to be their judge, to be a guard in different games and a photographer and videographer too. Though I enjoy it too because it seems that I am playing too. My stomach aches for laughing too much and my voice seems changed because of shouting and cheering for them. Indeed it is **an afternoon full of fun**.
While they are preparing the balloons to be used in the game I and my son have our moment in the beach.
My son is really happy to be there. How he wished to go to the beach and swim in the sea for a long time. At last! he was there. Since he cannot go to the sea without me or his father we didn't allow him to swim directly. So he choose to have fun in the beach first.
He draws a lot as he loves drawing. He draws house and car based on his explanation about his drawing when once I asked him. He also played along with the sand. He even requested me to cover his body with sand and as if he was sleeping.
I also saw him throwing sand. At first I stopped him from doing it because some sand particles might go into his eyes because the wind is strong. But I got an idea to capture him doing it and I position him which is not against the wind so he will be safe. We tried again and again until I am satisfied with the picture. I also let him jump and took him a picture. We enjoyed it.
When everything is ready, they started the game. The first game is the one in the picture above. They will find their partner, sit in the sand, hands up and they need to stand up without holding each other and without holding the ground. Some did it easily but others couldn't stand and seems they cannot handle their weight.
Second game is a group game. They were devided into two groups and each member put a balloon in their feet. They have to step the balloon of the other group and make it explode. The group who have more number of balloons remained is the winner.
This is the other game where they will go forward and turn from the one in front of them and go back without breaking their lines with the balloons on their neck. No one should hold their balloon and they have to put their hands on their waist. I laugh a lot in here because they usually break the line and the balloons will fly. A team with the blue balloons won this game.
They also play message relay. It is fun to hear different sentences from the last person. The person says it correctly, the second and sometimes in the middle the sentences is different. This proves that being "maritess" or gossiper can bring different messages to others.
They have other games aside from what I have mentioned that made the afternoon so fun. Overall it was a great time to be with them. I also enjoyed the moment even I don't know most of them.

A night out

Being a full time mom and a house wife I usually stay at home. When the pandemic hits, it makes our stay at home worst. We cannot even go out in the roads to have some walking, we cannot talk to our neighbors, we cannot go to the market because only one person is given a permit to do so, workers have their work permit and we stay at home mom stays at home for a long time.
When the government left up the lockdowns, I felt so happy because at last we can go out but off course still following the health protocol. Still prevention is better than cure.
Kids seems like a horse being able to go out from their cage. They run along the roads to and fro, visiting their friends house to play, walking and jogging and many things they can do.
Young ones missed ball games especially the men missed basketball so much as the ring was removed or covered during lockdowns. These days I can hear different basketball leagues. Almost every purok, barangay, city and even different organization have their own basketball league. Most men enjoy it as they almost forgot how to play it as they didn't do it for almost two years.
Women, enjoys volleyball too and other games. Actually we have a schedule in volleyball today but I was not able to join because we have a night out.
Oh! my introduction seems so long as my hands continues typing what is in my mind. Is this a good benefit of having a night out? that our brain cells will be active?
I am here in front of the sea right now. The waves are so strong that kids should not be there. My husband and his workmates have their team bonding tonight and lucky I am and my son that we were able to go with them.
I am so happy that for long months, six months to be exact for staying at home most of the time and now I was able to travel, leave home for a night and go to the beach. Having this might renew my brain cells, lol so I can write more here in read.cash, in noise.cash and in other platform where I recently joined. I can also unwind and forget the worries at home for a while. Enjoying with my son and my husband is a good way to relax. Though I felt a little headache because of the long travel, just more than two hours lol but for me its a long travel because I commonly ride a tricycle for only 15 minutes. Never mind the headache because I saw a great creation of God, a lot of coconut trees, mountains, sands and above all the beach and the wide ocean. Plus I am enjoying the wind that comes from the sea, though it makes my skin sticky but I do love it and I want to feel it right now. http://read.cash
My husband is in-charge in the kitchen while his workmates is having their "tagay" or they are drinking liquor. My son is playing with a new friends he just knew here. They were the kids of my husband's workmates.
DITO don't have a signal here, only smart and globe have. Since I am using DITO, I loaded some data for my Smart number so I can connect with you tonight as we are not going to the ocean for now because of the strong waves.

Two days experience in Hive

In my second post, I tried to post it in another community which is motherhood. I didn't get a lot compares to my first post but still thankful to another learnings i have learned. In the second post I learned how to attached a link of a previous blog. Just put [] for the title and followed by a () for the link. I said Yeheey! when I did it right after the given instruction. Don't get me wrong but a simple things I've learned like that and simple things I've done right will make me happy. *Ang babaw lang ng kaligayan ko lol.*
I still have problems, worries or something that still I cannot understand but hoping to understand them all along. Like when I am voting, following, subscribing or commenting this will always pop up. Anybody know about this?
I am happy for some small achievements that I have in my two days. I am hoping to reach another target very soon but I cannot have it off course without the help of another bloggers. I just landed in Hive

Learning is an unending process. A person will start learning even we are still in the womb of our mother. Do you believe it? We are learning how to yawn and even how to kick our feet while we are still inside of the womb. A baby was born and started crying, learn to open the eyes, learn how to close and open the hands. A nursery students learn from colors, to shapes, to alphabet. The kindergarten students learn how to write and do the phonics sounds. The elementary students learn how to solve math and know some vocabulary. Same with high school and college students as well all of them is learning. People who have their degree now takes up masteral and doctorate to learn more. Having been there doesn't mean that they should stop learning, indeed learning is an unending process.
I've been active here in read.cash for almost 4months. I have learned a lot here and keep learning day by day.
I have noticed a lot of my friends were joining hive. I am curious about it and wanted to be there too but how? One day I was able to read an article by @tpkidkai offering a free webinar about hive. I tried to join only to found out that I am the only one who join the webinar. I thought he will cancel it but he did not instead he started to teach me the basics of hive. Thought I cannot understand it well for the first time because I just heard it for the first time but still he is so kind and patient enough to teach me a step by step process. He did created my account. Days and weeks past but I was not able to give time for it until last day I message him on how I can start to Hive. He taught me how to start and he even guide me how to make my introductory post. Thank you so much sir for teaching me those things. I hope I can learn more day by day.

I am a mother of one. I don't know if we can give him a siblings because I almost died giving birth to him through caesarian section. I had eclampsia (a multiple convulsions happened during pregnancy or upon giving birth) and it almost took my life. The doctor even told my husband that he is lucky enough if I can survive. Thanks God, He gave me another chance to live.
I am a house wife and a full time mom. I resigned from work after giving birth. Most people told me that I wasted the chance and the opportunity to have a regular and better job but taking care of our children is the most blessed and satisfying job in the world.
I do love reading books and listening lectures about health, relationship, parenting and finance. I love nature as it helps me to relax. I love camping, hiking, river tricking and mountain climbing when I was still young but don't know if i can still do it after I undergo operation. Also as we transition from being youth free to do whatever we wants to a mother where we need to attend our family's need, there is a difference. We need enough time and finances and not to mention enough strength to do that kind of activity.
I am happy to be a part of this family and thankful to learn many things. I am hoping that you also learn something from me.

A blessed morning

Blessing comes everyday. Blessing is being showered by God to everyone every second, every minute and everyday. His blessings is immeasurable.
Life is a greatest blessings we received everyday. Every waking up is a blessing. A free air to breath is also a blessing. We felt blessed everyday but there were times or day that we feel more blessed compared the other days.
We have **a blessed morning**.
Early morning when I go out, Mount Matutum seems waving hello to me and saying good morning. I can clearly see its wonderful shape with a great blue color. I am wondering why its color is blue while the leaves of the trees and the grasses up there is green. Anybody knows the reason why?
Mount Matutum is also the highest peak I was able to climb. Before climbing it, I really thought that I will just look at it from a far, I never imagined that I can climb to its peak. But luckily I did it. It was one of a great achievement in hiking or climbing.
The skies is so clear giving me another bluer than blue color and look a happy bird flying was being spotted by the camera.
Having a clear skies, the sun also brightly shining and it let us take out the clothes we washed yesterday and we are hoping it will dry today.
After having our breakfast I decided to pay our water bill. Though the due date is still far but I decided to pay it earlier so I don't have anything to think about. When I am about to take a bath, my ninang (god mother) called and told me that they will dropped by to pay for her load (She is just texting or calling me when she needs load and will pay it after few weeks). So, I and my son waited along the highway because it is their first time to be here since we transferred from their boarding house. She is our land lady too and we are their care taker back then.
She handed me a school bag, a pack of something and chocolate. She almost forget her main purpose in being here which is to pay for her load so i reminded her.
My son asked me for whom is the bag? I told him it is for him given by kuya Denz (a grand son of my ninang). So we, open it and found shoes inside. Wow! this is a big blessing. Bag plus shoes its great and I dont need to buy one for Sam-sam.
When I check what is in the pack, wow! a lot of mangosteen. We can buy these very seldom because it is pricey.
She also gave some chocolates and my son loves it and me too. We can just eat chocolates like these when someone will give some for us.
We then prepare going to pay our water bill but we drop by in Day care center and let my son enrolled. When we reached the sub collection office of water district, wow! no one is in queue, it means I don't have to wait for a long time and I pay directly. This is so good to see compared last day when paying our electric bill.
I and my son just walk to save some from fare. We also enjoy the surroundings and at the same time we had a walking exercise.
Indeed it was **a blessed morning**. We have a new day, new life plus a blessing of things and foods. We are also blessed to do our transaction smoothly and got home safe.

Enjoyed and then sad

It's been raining for almost a week now. The weather is favorable in the morning but it will rain usually in the afternoon.
Yesterday morning, we went to the city to pay for our electric bill and we spend almost three hours before we were able to pay our electric bill. The queue is so long that my number is 769 and then they are calling for 200+. While waiting for our number, my son requested me to buy some bread because he is hungry. We walk and look for a nearest bakeshop but unfortunately the nearest bakeshop is close. So, we walk and find another one until we reached the market. We took our merienda, just bread and buko (coconut) juice. We then went to the market and since we were there I bought some vegetables. We go back to pay our electric bill and gladly we arrived on time as they just call my number.
We went home at lunch time, took our lunch and let my son have his afternoon nap while me reading articles here in read.cash.
My husband called me that his workmate is inviting us to go to a resort because the daughter of his workmate is having her birthday. I asked him how much the entrance fee and he told me 50.00 ($1). I told him if we will go there, we don't have enough time to enjoy the place because we will reach there at around 4pm and needs to go home at around 5pm because we have another things to do at six in the evening. He will drive for our young people for the voice of youth program.
So, we decided not to go to a resort. when he arrived at home he instead planned to buy for a brake replacement. He is about to go when I shout "we will go with you." My son just woke up and told him that we will go with his father to the city. In this way we could have a short family time. After he bought what he need, we went straight to the plaza. My son enjoyed running here and there, stepping to the stairs up and down while me found a schoolmate and we had a talk for a while.
We went to a food corner and bought some food to enjoy. We just bought French fries, hotcake and mango shake. We had a short time talking together while enjoying some simple food. My son don't know about mango shake and it is his first time to have it. As he sip for the first time, he said "yummy". I and my husband look at each other smiling because we don't know where he got the word yummy since we are talking to him in our own language which is bisaya. We are amazed that he have learned some english word and applied it correctly. When the food is almost finished, my husband bought sweet corn with cheese as additional.
The surroundings started to get dark and the rain is coming. We decided to go home and while we are walking going to our tricycle, we heard a noise coming a far and seems the noise is nearing to us until we found out that the rain is running toward us. So, we run to the grandstand to find some shelter. We just sit there until the rain is not heavy enough so we could travel going home. Most of the people run and have rest into that place.
When the rain almost stop, we decided to go home. When we are in the middle of our travel, we wonder because the road is dry it means there is no rain in there but when we almost reach our home the rain is so heavy again and the road seems like a river where the flood is so strong.
When we reached our house it is so sad to see that the water entered in our house. We forgot to let the "trapal" down before we go to the city. We use it as a cover in front of our small house so the rain will not come in. We **enjoyed and then sad** now because we need to remove the water from our floor. The water sets in under the floor mat making the floor mat waiving as we step on it.
Instead of murmuring, we directly move to remove the water and clean it. We enjoyed but we went home and became sad for what happened. It is a lesson learned that we need to let down the "trapal" everytime we leave home.

What if I came from a rich family?

Reading from article to another article will really give you different lessons, learnings, give you additional knowledge and sometimes will help you to reflect about life.

Without ado (ado is a newest word added to my vocabulary. It means unnecessary things. I just read this word here.) lets go and talk about what if I came from a rich family?
When I was young, I suffered from different hardships in life because our family is one among the indigent or poorest family in our barangay.
**If I came from a rich family** might be I have a perfect attendance is school. I don't like to absent from school before but there were times that our parents would ask us to absent so that we could weeds and harvest some corns so we will have money to buy rice. Sometimes I am crying but I have no choice.
**If I came from a rich family** might be I could buy delicious food in our canteen during recess time. But since we are poor, our classmates have 5.00 or 10.00 for their snacks while me having just 0.50 cents just to buy an ice candy and my mother will give me one stick of banana que as she is selling it in the canteen too.
**If I came from a rich family** might be I have a new dress and shoes during closing exercises and my parents will put up my medal. I don't need to wear my old clothes or no need to borrow some from our cousins.
**If I came from a rich family** might be I have cake, spaghetti and macaroni salad in my birthday. We grow up celebrating our birthday with thanksgiving to the Lord but we didn't experience to have cake and delicious food in our birthdays. Having a bihon with sardines will make us happy that day. We were able to cook spaghetti and macaroni salad for the first time when I got a job.
**If I came from a rich family** might be I enjoyed playing dolls when I was still young. I am 33 years old now but haven't experienced to have my own doll. My younger sister have her dolls before because her god mother is giving dolls as their gift for her during Christmas season.
**If I came from a rich family** might be I dont have a hard time in studying. Might be I don't need to suffer from being a working student just to finish my studies.
**If I came from a rich family** might be I didn't experience to be bullied by my classmates because of my unarrange teeth. Might be my parents could have afford for brazes to make my teeth straight.
**If I came from a rich family** might be we don't need to suffer living in a building with just have roof and half wall for two weeks because our aunt sold the lot where our small house located and it forced us to leave that place.
There are lots of what ifs in life. Those are my what if I came from a rich family when I was still young and suffering hardships and wanting different things. Those are just the simple wishes of a young Jen before. But when I grow up, I was thankful to God for being with us in those hard times. I was thankful enough to experience those things that made me strong and made me who am I today.

Tears of joy

A tears is a transparent fluid that flows from a part of our eyes. Sometimes it will fall without permission from the owner ot the eyes. It usually fall when we are crying. We cry and tears fall because of many unexpected circumstances in our life but there is also a **tears of joy**.
Yesterday we visited one of our brethren who got sick and just came out from the hospital. Visitation, talking to them for we a while, sharing some experiences and offering a prayer for them is a way of comfort and support. They were so happy with our presence and we found out that the wife will have her birthday today.
We organized a plan to serenade. We agreed to wake up at 4:30am so we could go there before 5am but I woke up 5:01 lol. I contacted the serenading team and other brethren who wanted to go with us. We plan to bring something for the celebrant as we all know that they have a financial crisis since one member of the family got sick.
Some of us bought cake, some baked a cake, some brought Milo and sugar, some brought "ibos" (a glutinous rice with some salt put in the coconut leaves), and some brought loaf bread.
When we were there we had a short program like this: Opening song, opening prayer, musical offering, a short message, wishes and prayers, response of the celebrant, closing song and closing prayer.
During the message, wishes and prayers, the celebrant cannot stop her tears from falling. She said it was a tears of joy. In her 54 years it was the second time that she had been serenaded, she was still 21 years old the last time she experienced it. Her tears keep on falling as her husband, son and daughter gave a message of thankfulness for all her sacrifices as a wife and mother to their children.
She was so thankful to let her experienced the feeling of being serenaded again after 33 years. She said that she has an unexplainable feeling that moment and keeps on thanking us and above all thanking God for the another life she received from God.
After the short program, someone prayed to thank and bless the food we brought and we all partake and enjoy it.
She blows a candle and thankful for the two cakes for her birthday.
Closing thoughts
Serenading is something special. It could make someone happy. We usually do it during a birthday. A celebrant will always feel more special on their birthday because of the messages, wishes and prayers given and offered by the brethren and above all given by the family members.
The celebrant as well as the attendees could look back how great God in our life. It will enable us to thank God for the blessings He had showered upon us.

Honey is sweet, a food made by bees to have some more bees. Honey is also one among many kinds of words as endearment.
Who among you here calling honey or hon to your spouse of your boyfriend or girlfriend? That's so sweet.
Today, we will not talk about honey as call of endearment but we will talk about honey which is came from bees.
I am a on and off online reseller since 2018. I tried to enter online selling after I gave birth and stopped working. Doing it is like escaping from boredom of having no earning at work. It was a great adjustment from working to a full time mom and housewife. It seems that I will be crazy that time so i tried different things to enjoy myself.
I am selling different items, from RTW, foods and etc. Honey is one among them. I am a honey reseller where my supplier is the one who is direct to the hunter. One day, someone sent me a message in my messenger telling that he is a honey hunter and offering me a right price if I will get their honey as wholesale. To make the long story short I grab that opportunity to get honey at lesser price.
I am selling their harvested honey from that time until now and hopefully will continue for a long time.
Last week they harvested pure wild honey and to my surprised they harvested green honey too. It was my first time to see and tasted a green honey. Yummy it is far better than the common light brown or dark brown honey.
Green honey is a honey from what they call here "yayong". They build there house usually under the ground and according to the honey hunters it is difficult to harvest honey from it. Green honey is rare to find and it is pricey compared to the usual brown honey.

How we use honey?
We use honey as a vitamin. Me, my husband and my son are drinking honey on the evening. We also use it as a sugar alternative. We put some honey as sweetener on passion fruit juice, lemonsito juice and even lemon juice. This is a very good remedy for cold and coughs. We also mix honey in malunggay juice.
You can also add honey to your cooking recipes. Some of my customers are using it in baking and in cooking buttered chicken.
Is honey good for infants?
I asked about it to my son's pedia. Honey is **NOT** recommended for infants below one year old because honey may contains some particles that may carry bacteria that will cause botulism to babies. Infants have a lower resistance to germs and our babies might get sick.
If you want honey for babies, give it to them when they are one year old onwards.
