Meet Some Bisaya Words

Our first experience at this platform meaning so much especially the moment when Rusty first visited us the emotions can't contain which makes us more eager and driven to continue our writing journey even though we are skeptical with ourselves. As I read their first experiences it shows that giving up is not an option when you have dream because some of them first account is not success together with second and third but they fought their position in writing. Befriend with someone we just met virtually also impact our development and the friendship build from stranger grow each day.
Honestly, when I published this prompt I'd told myself no one will participate because it is so hard to relook our firsts especially those months and year users. One person who believes this prompt and assure to l participate is Mars @BCH_LOVER and more user participate. All their entry are very much appreciation. Gosh, just this moment I realized all of them know how to speak Bisaya. Daghang salamat ug pasensya sa gamay sa regalo.

Happy to see you in sponsors block❣️Previous blog I mentioned that I know a little bit of Mandarin as the school prerequisite this unit. They taught us Mandarin reading and writing numbers, greetings and more basic words with proper pronounciation. I learned but sadly I forgot especially writing Mandarin. In learning new language is not easy and it takes time and effort but the moment you already know the feeling is so overwhelming. As I think what will be my topic today, I decided to share some Bisaya words that is easy to understand and easy to remember. Before I'll start, Kuya @TengToLoDo mentioned that he wants to learn Bisaya language which I am happy to hear.
Without further ado, lemme start😊
Beautiful - Gwapa (Gwa-pa) in Bisaya
The word gwapa is usually used when someone sees a girl who is beautiful, gorgeous or pretty. It is a way of complimenting and appreciating a girl's beauty.
Example: Ka gwapa niya. ( She is so beautiful.)
Handsome - Gwapo (Gwa-po)
If you notice the difference between the two is the last letter because some Bisaya have this thing of distinguishing a boy and a girl and it is so hard to explain. Gwapo is a complimenting word for boys.
Example: Gwapo siya. (He is handsome.)
I Love You - Gihigugma tika
Honestly, saying I love you in Bisaya makes me cringe sometimes because the way it is pronounced is very uncommon to hear. But then, I still find it cuter at lakas maka binibini. This word I've usually heard from Papa, he will not tell Mama " I love you or Mahal kita" instead "Gihigugma tika". If you are in a relationship, I challenge you to say "Gi-hi-gug-ma ti-ka) to your lover and if you are Bisaya tell me if you haven't felt a slight cringe.
