Make Them Secure

***November 11, 2021*** Something happened last night (from the time of writing) that made me want to worry about my beloved ones and to improve the security of my assets and be more careful in my valuable belongings. *I was in the middle of the forest with my friends. The reason was unclear but I just stayed with them. We were told to stay in one room waiting for someone to arrive or something to be announced.* *The room has glass windows that trees outside were visible. A few minutes later, the ground started to shake. Someone shouted, "it's an earthquake." I was confused as there was no record of the earthquake here in HK.* *When I looked out the window, trees were shaking, dancing, and some were falling. As I looked at the ground, our location was hundreds of feet above it. Everyone panicked and we thought of a possible way out.* *One wrong move and we'll die.* *A moment later, the door opened and armed men entered. Behind them was a sick-looking boy that looked like needed some operation. He needed something which we don't know. Might be blood, bone marrow, vital organs, or whatsoever.* *But I was surprised that the two men in the room, my uncle and cousin, were one of the accomplices.* *The father of the boy started to prick our fingers to check our blood type. I, being the first one on the row, felt the pain first. Followed by my friends. He stopped after checking my third friend's blood type, and he suddenly commanded the man behind him to pull out my friend.* *Some were worried and crying. We felt like hostages inside the room. And later will be thrown to be butchered and they'll harvest our organs. I thought we would all die. But they only took two from us, and the rest were freed including me.* *Before they dragged out our friends, I hugged them and we were crying. After a while, sadness, worries, and sorrow were felt in the air. There was silence and we heaved a sigh of relief after a moment. We felt lucky to be safe, but we felt sad from the thought that they might kill our friends.* Fast forward... *On my way home, I was weary and silent the whole time. I was inside the bus looking outside, blank and looking out of mind.* *From the distance, I spotted our home, and I thought I would be safer already. But something happened that made my mind go crazy. The bus ahead of us seems lost of control and it almost crash into our house located just near the highway.* *My heart throbbed so fast and it was deafening. I panicked and urged the driver to stop. But before he stopped, a reckless driver from behind us rushed and passed by, and it stumbled over the bus in front of us. I thought the bus would finally crash into our house because of the impact.*

*I ran out of the bus and rushed to see the situation. My tears were rolling down my face thinking of my family inside our house. I was almost there when I saw that the bus didn't hit our house. I felt relieved. My legs were crippled.* *I was diverted into a different place where I was holding my backpack. It's like a public place where I sat down to rest my aching legs. I put down my bag and played with my other phone. The place was crowded but I didn't mind.* *A moment later, I found myself panicking again. My bag was gone all of a sudden and inside of it were my valuable things, my phone with my crypto wallets, my booklet with seed phrases, as well as my wallet with my money and personal identifications.* *I looked for it all over the place and asked the people around if they saw the thief. But no one answered.* *I felt hopeless and crippled. I felt like all my effort just go wasted due to negligence and carelessness.* *And that was the end of my bad dream.* It was indeed a weird dream but it made me think of my friends and family, as well as my assets' safety. I seldom get in touch with my friends and family, and I always pray for them to be okay. In regards to my assets, I guess, I have to place the seed phrases in a more secure place and take good care of my valuable stuff especially when going out. After reading several articles of our Nigerian friends regarding this matter, it made me worry more. Accidents and death do happen and they are inevitable even how cautious we are. Because they are meant to happen. What would happen if we weren't able to pass our valuable assets to a safe and trusted hand before uncertainty hits us? All our hardships would go wasted which is saddening to think about. I had many weird dreams that played out in my waking life. When I dreamed about my phone that fell and got broken, it really did a few days after dreaming about it. In fact, it happened many times and I dreamed about it many times. I guess that's one of the reasons too. There are a lot of things preoccupying my mind lately. I'm worrying about things that shouldn't be. And I need to clear my mind of those anxiety-provoking thoughts. Again, I need to constantly remind myself about my health goal. Pardon me for this nonsensical content. I just want to share it.
