Thoughts and Feeling It's quite sometime since I last made an article. To be honest, I am discourage and unmotivated for the passed days because of what happened. Someone downvoted my article which is very discouraging. I don't know what makes them do that. For what happened, I've been hesitant to make and publish articles. The thoughts that someone may downvote it again worry me. I've been questioning myself, "Why did someone downvoted my article?" "Did I offended someone through my articles or through my comments?" I've been also observing. After that downvote incident, my comment became spammed, or it already moved to spam. Even my reply on my "own" article becomes spam too. That's the saddest thing I experienced for being a five months user. I can't properly interact with people who leaves comment in my article. Also, after that "incident" I never received a tip from the random rewarder. Maybe that's the consequence of that "incident". It limit my interact and worst it stopped me from receiving tips. That's why I felt hesitant to make articles. I don't want to be hypocrite. And honestly I joined read cash because I earned money here. So I questioned myself again, "Why make an article if you will not gained benefit?" I can't stop myself from thinking of those who downvoted my article. Maybe because I don't get the reasons why they did that. It's like a hard puzzle that gives me headaches(I literally having a headache today). I'm still thinking... Should I continue or stop? ... ... ... ... ... ... ... **~~jabs**

@Jabs

Something's Wrong, I guess? For some reason I am lazy thinking of what article to write. The last article I made was two days ago and I can't think any. I know that my article was not engaging nor interesting and I am thankful to those users who appreciate it despite the fact about it. I don't want to compare myself to anyone 'cause I know we're all different. I'm always reminding myself about our differences. I always remembering our class motto during highschool everytime I felt interior towards others,---"To do easily what is difficult for others is a mark of talent." I maybe lack at something but for sure I have something I am good at. Even without creating an article for two days, the random rewarder is still generous to me for tipping my old article multiple times, and that why I continued earning little amount of money. For the last two days without creating article I still continue checking and browsing here in read cash. I still read some articles although I admit I am not active in leaving comments. I've checked my last published article **Take ownership of your own future** and noticed something unusual or maybe it's just me thinking that there really is something unusual? I don't know but it keeps bothering me after seeing it. https://read.cash/@Jabs/take-ownership-of-your-own-future-9f0edb00 It's not about the tip from random rewarder, so don't mind it. Even I, made it chuckle after receiving a notification regard of the tips.😁 Anyway, look at the one I circled, I have zero like. Isn't when we are publishing or posting an article we already gained one like? (Correct me if I am wrong.) If yes, then why isn't zero? Is someone downvote my article? If yes again, then why? I mean why bothered? Well in my case it bothers me, why? My articles are not that good or even interesting and it makes me wonder why someone just downvote it. (if it's really true). If I am wrong, then I apologize. Just voicing out my thoughts. 😁 **Written by:@jabs**

Take Ownership of Your Own Future ***We sometimes think that the person we are today will always be the same person we will be.*** *If you were asked, are you the same person you are 5 years ago? 10 years ago?* Your answer is probably, **no**. Its easy for us to say that we changed and say what those changes are than saying what we will be in the future. Despite the awareness that our past self is clearly different from our present self, we tend to think that who we are today is the **"real"** version of ourselves and our future self will basically the same as who we are today. Our personality, skills, likes, and dislikes change over time. Whether we are intentional about the changes or not. Change is inevitable, but it's not totally out of our control. **Here are some strategies to help us become our desire future self.** ***Distinguish our former, current, and future selves*** We tend to place extreme emphasis on our present selves. We tend to cling to our current identities and speak clearly in definitive terms about who we are like, ***"I'm not good.*** **"I'm an introverted person."** These way of thinking leaves a room for change and growth. When we assume about our self, we stop seeing alternatives. When we believe we are depressed, we tend to think that we are depressed all the time. The truth is, we are not the same person as we are in the past. We don't do things the same way we once did. We no longer want what we once wanted. Instead of focusing ourself of who we are today, we must recognize how much we've grown and changed from our former self. Once we start to distinguish between our current former selves, it becomes possible for us to view our selves as a different person as well. ***Imagine our desire future*** It's much easier to stay to the present, than to imagine a different future. But if we don't take the time to imagine who we want to be, then we will relatively become whatever life drives us to be. There is a famous quote says, ***"A man without ambition is like a ship without destination."*** We can't grow without a direction to that growth. We need a clear goal to shape the process. Having a clear goal makes us know on what path we should take. ***Change our identity narrative*** The identity narrative is the story of our past, present and future. If our identity is rooted only in our past and present alone, it can fixed our mindset that will make our personality permanent. But if we focus on envisioning our future self, it is possible to change our identity narrative. *(Now, I understand why my teachers always makes us write a autobiography).* Telling people who we want to be is incredibly powerful. If we decided who our future self will be and find the courage to share that vision to others, it becomes possible to transform into our desire future self. We should know what we want for our future. We must embrace the uncertainty and the changes. We must embrace learning and failure. Don't let "**now**" be our meaning. We must take action in building our future self and it will grow our own ever-evolving-self. **Subscribe** @Jabs 😉

Why do we Self-sabotage? Self-sabotage is a behaviour that goes against our self. Sometimes we self-sabotage to escape the uncomfortable feelings we felt. Maybe because we haven't taught our self on how to manage amd process those uncomfortable feelings and thought, that's why we do whatever to stuff them down. We might turn to alcohol or drugs to relief our self. Self-sabotage can be a coping mechanism from our past experience. For example, we had a terrible experience that is traumatic. We find our way out on that experienced or we carry it out until we become adult can it affects our relationship to others. This is why its hard to breaking out in self-sabotage behaviour. That is why we need to take an active steps to work against our self-sabotaging behaviour. And to make it work we must first know that if we really have this self-sabotaging behaviour. Signs of Self-sabotaging Behaviour ****You listen to you inner critic**** We all have this inner critic. A voice that whispering "You're not good enough", "Nothing will work out with you" "You're an idiot". We all have our choice as whether to listen to that voice. There are techniques to quieting that voice, but the first step is we need to identify them. Listen to what kind of stories they are telling and realise it's not us. It's not you. ****You procrastinate**** Procrastination is the stems from fear of failure. You are afraid to fail so you are afraid to try. You must face and acknowledge the feeling of discomfort and failure. ****You avoid the runs the risks of pain**** When you feel that you are burnt out in life, you find yourself avoiding the situation that will make you feel the same pain. But the truth about life is that we can never avoid being hurt and in pain. We must step outside the comfort zone an experience life in general. ****Using substance**** We always find a skip route to ease the pain we are feeling, and one of the route drinking alcohol or taking drugs. If you happen to find yourself turning the bottles, it is possible that you have the sign of self-sabotage. ****You are a self-controlled freak**** We all know that we can't do anything once something is done, whether we like it or not. And when we try to control situation of people, it makes us struck or it blocks oir growth. ****You can't say "No"**** Pleasing people is one of the most socially accepted forms of self-sabotage. Boundaries are there to protect us, to ensure that we are channelling into the areas that we enjoy or worthy. Without them we are letting others to walked on us. ****You suffer from low self-esteem**** When we continuously don't believe with ourself, we subconsciously setting ourself up to failure. In this sense, we think that we are right with the decision we made all along. How to break from Self-sabotage Breaking in to self-sabotage usually involves us to look back at the past where everything started. Once we already pinpoint where it started, we can praticed self-compassioncand self-forgiveness. From there, we can begin healthier, more effective ways of behaving which will lead us to the long term.

Learning to let go of Fears Fears is such a strong emotion. It has the ability to keep us safe, scared and live our life to the fullest. Fears is something we cannot set aside. When fears get out of control, it makes us anxious, it can shut us down and worst it makes us paralyzed. But we are here to live our lives well, and if we don't deal with our fears we can't find the joy that we are searching. That was fear does to us. Its' like a robber that stealing our happiness. Maybe right now, we are not yet living the life we want because of the fear that we might fail, lose, or be judge by others. We make many choices in life because of our fear, but if we know how to deal with it appropriately, we can find that life is beautiful and full of adventure. That we can face it fearlessly. In order to deal with our fears, we must think rationally. Its not right to live our life recklessly. We can take certain action and achieve the result we want. There is a condition ***agoraphobia***--*a fear of being in a situation where escape is impossible.* Some people think that its a fear of crowds or open spaces, but its actually more complex than that. People who have this phobia may feel packed in an open spaces. And instead of facing their fears, they stay closer to their home and worst is that they got stuck in their home because of it. There are also some people who are making decision that keeps their life stuck because they are afraid to embraced changes. There are many ways that fear controls us. Some people are afraid to quit their jobs before they are afraid of the consequences once they did. There are also some people who are afraid to pursue what they want because they are afraid of what others may think. One of the things that **we can do to overcome our fears is to face it.** I know its hard, but it can work if we allow ourselves to try it. Our fears can be scary at times, but it keeps us from living. Our fears cause us to think the negative that's why it controls us. We think the opposite we can surely or somewhat beat our fears. **Another thing we can do is quit feeding our fears either internally or externally.** External fears are the one influenced us by the outside. What we saw or hear can be the reason of this. Where imagining the worst case scenario. While internal fears are our negative thoughts of the possible outcome. Either way both are connected to one another. The solution to this is to be fully present in the moment amd give attention to the beautiful moments of our life. Our fears is sometimes caused by our negative thinking. And I know sure that you know how to let go of the fears you have in you. Facing it and stop thinking negatively will help us become a fearless individual. ***Stop bottling our fears inside and lets battle it. Fears is what makes us stronger when we face it and overcome it.*** ~~@jabs

Self - love ***"You can't love someone else until you learn to love yourself."*** Most of us know what self-love is but we don't fully understand it. It's sad to know that in the process of finding our happiness, we forgot ourself and neglected it at times. Maybe that's the reason we felt that we're alone, that no one understand us. We don't understand that ***self-love is the root from which everything grows.*** When you love yourself conditionally, you cannot love someone unconditionally. Why? Because how can you give someone you don't have? Understanding self-love is learned during our childhood from someone who loved and cared for us. It is taught unconsciously, we learned it just by watching people who nurtured us. Self-love is more that wearing a beautiful dresses and putting make ups. To love ourself is not an act of selfishness, it is an act of kindness towards other people. When we love ourself people don't have to deal with unresolved problems. Self-love includes self-esteem, self- awareness, self-worth, and self-care. If one is missing then we don't entirely have the self-love. The journey of obtaining self-love does not differ from comfronting the demons inside us. It is the reason most of us lack, we don't want to sit down and have a conversation with ourself. Self-awareness Asked ourself, are we aware of the thoughts that makes us angry and act impulsively? Where they're coming from? Why are they there? It same goes with why are we happy. We need to question ourself to be more aware of our emotions and feelings and the way we act it out. Self-awareness is being aware of our thoughts. It is the key to our emotional intelligence. The way we understand our emotion will help us response effectively. If we failed to understand our emotions, we also failed to response effectively. It may trigger some undesirable emotions. Self-worth Self-worth is the beliefs we have in ourself. We must put in our mind that we are born with an endless potential. We have it now, and we have it until we die. We need to discover it. We need to get oit of the box and explore our potential. We don't need to stick with what we know we already have. Self-worth lies with all the good things about ourself. Everyone have something they are good. We must remember that there is never a day that we are not worthy. We don't need to do anything to be worth it, because self-worth is not determined by anything. We are who we are and we have to know that. Self-esteem Self-esteem is the result of self-worth. When we developed our self-worth, it self-esteem comes naturally. Self-esteem comes from the factor that we are loved. It has everything to do with us being contented and comfortable of who we are. We need to remind ourself that we don't need to justify our existence. Self-care Self-care is not all about physically, it is about keeping ourself healthy, physically, mentally and emotionally. Today, due to pandemic our self-care as a whole is being tested. It can easily tainted with negativity. Some people are suffering physically, emotionally and mentally. Self-love as a whole embedded within us. We must know how important self-love is. We must fully umderstand ourself to understand what truly is self-love. We are too focus of achieving what our hearts desire the forgot to love ourself in the process. We can achieve happiness if we learn to love ourself. We must remember that there is no important thing in this world more than ourself. ---- Awhile ago I read the article Want Some Attention by @blazingwolvez . Somehow I can relate to her, cause I went the same experienced. . https://read.cash/@blazingwolvez/wanting-some-attention-1a94bcb1 Life thought us many things and one of the lesson we must learn is that not all will understand us and we shouldn't focus on making them understand us. What we need is for us to focus on ourself more than anything and most especially we must learn to love ourself. **Thanks for reading!**

Ways to Avoid Holiday Belly Fat Holiday season is around the corner. And when it comes to holiday season it won't be complete without talking what food to serves and eat. And I am sure many of you are thinking that this season you will gain weight after your diet and exercise in the past months. Don't worry, here are some ways to avoid holiday belly fat. You can enjoy the holiday without thinking the dreaded holiday weight gain. ****Get Enough Sleep**** Make sure to have the 7 to 8 hours sleep. Getting enough sleep is basic when it comes to avoid gaining weight. There is a connection about lack of sleep and gaining weight. The amount of sleep you get impacts the hormone level and can lead increased your appetite and less energy in any physical activity. ****Reduce Stress**** Stress is often overlooked caused of belly fat so try to focus on the joys of the season and find ways to reduce stress. You can do some yoga, or any forms of movements. You can also do some reading, painting or drawing or whatever that can makes you relax. ****Eat the Rainbow**** Don't take this literally. Eat the rainbow means focus of variety of colors of foods like vegetables or fruits to make sure you don't forget to get the vitamins and minerals that your body needed. By eating the various colors, you will benefit from more of the nutrients available in different kinds of foods. ****Practice Food Favoritism**** I am sure some of you are the type of person who eats everything in the table during holiday season thinking that this is time that the food you don't eat/see often is present in the table. To tell you, avoid thinking that way, especially if you don't want to gain weight. Don't feel bad about the food if you don't eat them. If you don't like certain dish, it's okay to not to eat it. Eat the foods you only want to eat. ****Make Time for Movement**** After eating comes the laziness. We don't want to move our body and just want to sit in the chair or couch. Makes some movement or exercise. A walk will be fine. You can also dance with your loved one with your favorite holiday songs. Makes sure you make movements. As what Filipinos always saying ***"Galaw-galaw para iwas stroke."*** ****Don't Skip Meal**** ***"I will skip breakfast, so I can eat more later."*** Admit it or not we often say or hear this. Know that if you skip meal, means you will be more likely to overeat. ****Limit Alcohol Consumption**** Holiday season is the time for celebration and gatherings. Spending time with your families and relatives that you don't see in a while, so a booze cannot be set aside. Limiting your alcohol consumption can help you reduce weight gain. Skipping drinks can allow you to sleep more soundly and reserve energy for movements. ****Be Mindful**** Being mindful is becoming popular in the world of health. Fulfilling what our body wants is possible to becoming a healty person. Be more aware of what portion of foods you put on you plate rather that fulfilling your hunger. ****Gather Around the Table**** Has someone told you that they are full just seeing you full? Well apparently, that cringy line is helpful. Instead of focusing on what food to eat, enjoy your meal with your loved ones. Savoring the moment rather the delicious food infront of you. Your body will let you know when its full so you won't be overeating. ---- This holiday season, don't just focus on the foods on the table. Spend this moment with your loved ones. Share memories you will treasure and be healthy. **Thanks for reading!**

The Power of a Kind Words Words are the sharpest tool in the world. It can control our happiness, it can break the bond and relationship or strengthen it. One small but the biggest thing we can do is to say warm words full of affection and care. There are some saying that ***"Words has no feet but they can travel far"*** and ***"Words can even repay a huge debt".*** These shows how powerful words are. We always had a tough day everyday. Each day was always a seems a survival, a battlefield, and moat of us experienced it. Either you are a student or a worker. A comforting words is enough to ease the fatigue and tiredness we felt after a long day. Everybody wants a sweet home. It would be happy if a warm atmosphere fills our home after a long tiring day. Probably some of us prefer to rest after a long day and don't want any conversation with our family. Sometimes we don't have time to communicate with our family even though we live in the same house. What's even sadder is that we often have a conversation and yet if we do have it sometimes end up in an argument. Isn't better to give strength and courage to someone we know who have a tough day? Words of encouragement is a great help. Kinds words can calm an angry person. If we noticed, if someone in our family is angry, we use aggressive words. Its like adding fuel to the fire. In such situation, it is better to listen and empathize with the person who is upset. Instead of leveling his/her anger, say "I'm sorry." or any nice words or questions. In that sense, the person will calm down easily. Kind words has the power of vitality. Our lives is unpredictable. We should think before we speak first. Think about the last words you said especially to your loved one. Was it something good to be something you won't regret? SUBSCRIBE @Jabs

A Child's Play: The Alter Egos I am not much active today or even watching kdramas or kvariety. I'm just doing some household chores and sitting the entire day. I didn't also want to take a nap because I'm afraid I can't fall asleep later at night. So literally speaking, I'm spending my time leisurely. My eldest sister visited us together with her children. They stayed here for two days because they don't have electricity yet due to Tyhoon Rolly. I am observing my nephews and nieces playing some toys when suddenly the eldest among them suggested to play something else but not everyone agreed with the suggestion. My eldest nephew becomes sulky so me, as silly tita, I add fuel to the fire and started teasing him. Saying that they don't want to play with him and blah... blah... the ending he grabbed the phone and play on it alone. I was busily laughing, because I succeeded teasing him, when I heard my sisters talking about their children. Talking about their children's good and bad behaviour up to what are their children's doing during lockdown. One of my sister, who I'm living with, brought out about how her children's spending their time. She said that her children loved to watched videos in Youtube specifically watching ***"Vlad and Niki"*** and ***"Roma and Diana"***. Her children started to act as them and started to speak in english too. While listening to their conversation, a question suddenly popped up in my head. What do I played as a kid when I am at home if my parents don't let me play outside? I started to compare my playtime before to the playtime of my nephews and nieces. Upon thinking, I came up to this article and I'm sure many of you can relate with me. When I was a kid, I used to imitate or act as someone whom I see as admirable or amazing. Someone who looks awesome to my eyes. And if my parents won't let me play outside I played like I am that person. I even talked to myself and imagined that I have someone with me. I am starting to build/make my own alter egos. What is alter ego? *An* ***alter ego*** *(Latin for "other I") means an alternative self, which is believed to be distinct from a person's normal or true original personality*.  My Alter Egos as a Kid when I play ****A Princess****. This is every girls dream, to be a princess. When I was a kid, I used to watched movies about the disney princesses. Wearing beautiful gowns/dresses, with a heels and a crown or tiara, like Cinderella, Belle, Snow white, and even Princess Sarah. But opposite with wearing those beautiful dresses, I wrapped a blanket to myself and walked tiptoe 'cause we don't have high heels. ****A Mermaid****. ***Arielle*** in *"The Little Mermaid"* inspired me to be a mermaid too. Swimming freely in a deep blue sea. Talking to fishes, crabs and turtles, or even sharks, whale and octopus. But not so similar with my imagination, my tail is made up of pillow and I swim on the floor/bed instead in ocean. I waggled my tail while singing the song ***"Under the Sea".*** ****A Fairy or a Godmother.**** Whose my inspiration to be a fairy? No other than **Tinkerbell** in the movie Peterpan. With a wings flying freely while the pixie dust falling. I also act as a godmother like in Cinderella, with just a snapped of the wand lies the magic within. But to be like them, my arms becomes my wings and I picked a stick to be my wand. Not just fantasy story influenced me to be as someone else. We have this real life amazing people who I admired the most. ****A doctor****. Like in many television shows I watched, isn't amazing how doctors cure the illnesses? One time as I was playing I suddenly want to be a doctor and cured the fever of my paper doll. I put a very small piece of cloth to subside her fever. ****A teacher****. When all my siblings went to school, I am the one who left alone in the house, maybe I was 4 or 5 years old back then. I got jealous and envy them, so one time I looked at the school near my house and saw a teachers talking outside their classrooms. I was fascinated with their aura and their looks so I decided to act as a teacher when I played. I think there are lot more of alter egos Iplayed before but I can't remember them all. The stated above was the most memorable that's why I remembered it clearly. I know I had so much fun playing when I was a kid. ***You, what alter egos you played before?*** **Subscribe:** @Jabs

A Blissful Night ***November 15, 2020*** ***11:25 pm*** Its been a long time since I take attention again around my surrounding. I can't even remember. I was about to take a sleep. Taking my daily routine before heading to dreamland. Plugging my earphones and listening to music I stored in my phone. When suddenly, I unconsciously stare at the window in my room. The song "So long/Goodbye" by Paul Kim us playing, and I don't know why but I feel that the song suits the atmosphere. Maybe I am being sentimental. The night today looks so calm. Its been a while since the night was like this. After many calamities passed by, I can't even remember when was the last time I saw a stars and even if I saw, it just a single star or two. The only light I see is the light on my neighbor's window reflecting in my window. That light didn't affect me to notice the stars outside my window. Yes, stars. Not just one or two, but its many. Even the little stars are visible in my eyes. I can't help myself from smiling. Seeing those stars makes me thankful... for everything. It makes me realize one thing again, that whatever challenge may come I know I can surpass it, I can overcome it. Like the stars above, how many calamities arrived, the stars will shine again in the dark. Without a clouds they shine brighter than ever. This night is another night to be thankful, especially to my fellow Filipinos. We've hit by consecutive typhoons, I know some are still feeling loss and devastated. Some loses their homes which should be served as protection to any danger, but felt that danger inside it. Some also lose their loved ones during calamities that really heartbreaking. But despite the heart ache we all feeling right I know we find hope in every circumstances we faced. This night will wake us up again from that heart ache and stand again tomorrow. I hope all of you will look at the stars tonight and see the beauty of it. Hope that this blissful night and the stars above will inspire you to stand again, fight again and most especially SMILE again. **Good night!** **11:40 pm** ~~@jabs

The Downside of Happiness ***~~Happiness is the goal of life, and attaining happiness is the ultimate success.*** We are doing everything with all our might to achieve the happiness we want. Happiness is link in achieving our goals and obtain the success. If we get what we want, we certainly feel this undescribable happiness inside us. We look for that golden emotion in whatever means we can. Some people, as they want happiness in life, they used drugs, they drink, and buy lots of things that they often can't afford. Sometimes we fake being happy. Why? Because we want people to see us positively, we don't want to be pitied by others. We want to be look as someone who's strong and brave. Too much happiness can lead to problems. Researchers found that people who are extremely felt the happiness may not think creativitely and they most likely to take risks. Happiness can interfere our success. People who are happy can be less detail oriented. The attitude of a "happy go lucky" and seeing as everything is going to be fine or okay. Because they don't pay attention to details, they are not good in picking on subtle signs of deceit. A happy person can only detect lying by 49% of the time based on research. While others whose unhappy can detect lying by 62% of the time. Being able to see the honesty of others is important. Here are also some ways happiness can hurt us. ****Too much happiness can make us less creative****. When we are experiencing intense or extreme happiness, we no longer experiencing the same creativity boost. ****Happiness is not suited in every situation.**** Our emotions help us adapt to new challenges and circumstances, and we know that happiness has a time a place just like anger helps us mobilizes to overcome obstacle, happiness helps us to pursue our goals and encourage us to do better. But just like we don't want to feel angry amd sad in every context, we should not also want to feel the happiness in every context. ****Not all types of happiness is good for us****. Happiness serves us a rainbow in our life. It brings the different colors and flavors to us. Sometimes it makes us feel energetic, sometimes it makes us slow down, and sometimes it makes us more generous. But not all types of happiness brings benefit to us. Example is pride, when experience too much pride it can lead us to negative social outcome like agressiveness towards others and being an antisocial. Some types of happiness may be a hinder our connection towards other. ****Pursuing happiness can makes us unhappy****. If we strive more to pursue happiness the less we may obtain it. The more we strive for happiness, the more likely we set our standards high. And if we can't achieve that standard the more likely we get disappointed. We all want to find the happiness we want for our life, but it is important to pursue happiness with the right reason. Too much focus on achieving the happiness we want can actual self - defeating. Rather than trying to find happiness we should build acceptance with our current emotional state. We should realize that our emotions has its purpose and feeling happy all the time is not natural and helpful. **Thanks for reading!**

There's no harm in trying, right? And in fact I know most users here are very kind and appreciative. And let me give this chance again to my sister to felx her so-called "masterpieces". Long-term Relationship A long term relationship can change us either for the better or worse. Love has the power to change us from who we are. Every long term couple will undergo different phases in their relationship. Every couple dreamed to make their relationship last. Remember that no matter what, you and your partner are on the same boat and on the same team, you can talked everything or anything together. Thing you learn unexpectedly in a long term relationship ****Questioning your Relationship is normal**** Being in a long term relationship, occasionally questioning if your partner is "The One" is normal. In life, want we wanted is happiness together with the person we loved. We want the assurance that the decision we made is right. Everyone has doubts from time to time, whether its for the future or relationship. As long as the doubt aren't lingering and constant, they are normal and even healthy. ****You will Experience Temptation**** Some people say that "You can like more than but you can only love one." Being in a relationship doesn't prevent us from liking or from being attracted to someone sometimes, especially nowadays. Social medias can be a bridge to interact with the people from our past and present who might not have the best intentions. However, being aware of the temptations allows us to keep our guard up and fight it. ****Long term relationship can feel boring**** Since you know each other for a long time, you might feel bored especially when to spend of the time together. However, if you truly love each other you will work to find the joy and happiness in everyday. ****Forgiveness is Crucial**** I remember @Yen, this is for you. If your partner did something that hurt you, you should communicate about it and work out for a solution together. Don't give a cold shoulder. Arguments will happen, you should fully dealt with it and forgot it and never brought it up again. This allows a couple to move forward. ****Arguments are Normal**** Arguing is inevitable in every long term relationship. It doesn't matter whether it's a tiny squabble over little things or a serious disagreement, what really matter is how you communicate during and after the argument to solve it. How you work tjings out after a fight is more important than what you are both arguing. As long as your partner can communicate well, appreciate each other well and can grow together, there's no way your long term relationship has to end. **Thanks for reading!**

My Siblings Photography:Which is Better? It's been awhile since the last time I post an article about photography. Actually I don't have many photos to share because I barely go out and there isn't much thing to capture here in my neighborhood, just a few flowers and the sky. My siblings send me some of their photographs and asked for my opinion. I don't why they're even asking me, I don't know the reason. And why even bother asking me, I am not a pro-photographer. Maybe their having some arguments regards which has better skills in photography, or maybe they are bored since their has nothing much to do in province. They haven't electricity yet, and signals are still poor. My younger brother can't play mobile legends and my younger sister can't watch netflix. Taking pictures must be their only past time. My Younger Sister's Photography This sister of mine really loved to take pictures. She even downloaded some apps to enhance the photos she took and posted it on her instagram account. My Younger Brother's Photography This brother of mine is never been interested in photography, or maybe that's what I thought? He is more on playing mobile games and drawing or even editing pictures. He's editing is hilarious. It makes me amazing. But seeing his photos makes me amazing too. **So, which do you think is better?** Comment & Subscribe@Jabs!😉

Typhoon Experience Last night was my first ever typhoon experienced since I moved here in Taytay. Flashed of lightning occurred every 5 seconds. The strong wind hits the branches of trees creating a strong buzzing sounds. The continuous pouring of heavy rain then suddenly the lights turned off. The typhoon signal in my area rise at number 3 with heavy rain and strong wind. The rain starts pouring in the afternoon, but it's not that strong and heavy, and so as the wind. I was planning to write an article about the environment last night but I was afraid in lightning, so I stopped and decided to listened to music. Two purposed, to calm myself from the fear and nervousness I felt, and to make myself fall asleep. I listened to music, but its no used. My mind was into great fear of what's happening at that moment. Everytime the lightning flashed, my gazed was diverted into the window and I can't helped it. I tried to swift my gazed in every corner of my room but the lightning was like a magnetic that attract my eyes without my consent. I closed my eyes and covered myself with blanket, singing in my mind with the same music I've heard. For a moment, I felt calmed. As I was about to fall asleep, my earphone got unplugged and the strong rain wake me again. I declared a battle with my will to fall asleep and the sound of the heavy rain. And after the long battle, I passed out. I wake up suddenly feeling the bite of mosquitoes, that's when I realized that the electricity was cut. I looked at my phone and it was 5 o clock in the morning, the rain and wind was still rampaging outside my window. I saw a text messages by the NDRRMC. I went back to sleep again and wrapped myself with blanket, it's cold. After an hour I woke up, grabbed my phone and opened my wifi trying to check readcash, but to my dismay, I forgot that the electricity was cut and so the wifi was off, and I don't have load. So sad. 😔 Anyway, that's my first typhoon experienced here in Taytay. **Thanks for reading!**

Conversation Topics to Spark a Relationship We meet people everyday. Even by sitting in one of the bench in the park, queing for payment, waiting for the bus or even in applying for a job. We end up talking to the person beside, infront or back of us. Why? There are few reasons why we talk to strangers unexpectedly. A small talk sometimes ease our boredom or we wanted to begin a relationship with the person. Whatever the reasons, here are some conversation topic that can start a relationship. Relationship doesn't all mean having a romantic relationship. Relationship can also be a friend, classmate, colleague or workmate. A relationship is a connection between you and a person. Depending on what kind of relationship you are forming, your questions should be appropriate to ask and should be appealing to answer. I know its awkward to start a conversation to a stranger, but setting aside that awkwardness, you must take the courage to start a convertation. **Remember**, ***how can we gain friends if we don't talk to strangers?*** Although we cannot asked question that is too personal, cause we believed that people value their privacy, there are some topics that can be both safe and satisfying. The beauty of asking a questions to someone is about something that they enjoy talking about. Establishing a shared reality requires more than exchanging information. The Story Telling Value of History Although some people are often awkward sharing some personal information to a strangers, they are not shy to tell about where they're grew up. Hometown highlights often presented a positive light with a healthy dose of nostalgia, is both interesting to hear and enjoyable to tell. This topics allows you to know the common ground area, and given a possibility that you are both on the same area. Admit it or not, when you meet someone here in readcash that the hometown or province is the same as you, you feel this unexplainable connection. You wanted to talked more to that person about the place or your province, until you didn't noticed that you are having a smooth conversation. After having a conversation you felt that you are getting closer to that person. My Children, Myself When it comes to getting to know a new friend or an acquitance, the topic of offspring is never an off-limits. Most people light up a Christmas tree if you asked them about their family. In fact, if you asked one questions, they answered it with long answer with a follow up, meaning a single questions has a multiple answers. I am sure those momshie's here in readcash can relate to this like @Yen and @Eybyoung . I noticed that some of their articles are about to their children in which both of them can relate to each other. For that reason, you find yourself getting closer to that person. You find yourself telling more and asking for some advice. Travel: Adventure is meant to be shared Most people loved to travel and they love to tell you about that. Where they have been and what places they've seen. Adventure of travel appeals to extroverts and introverts, you can build rapport without the boudary probing concerns you might have with other topics. Even with person who have reserved personalities will become animated when sharing that they enjoyed most. Some users here in readcash like @tired_momma shared more of her travel experienced which some can relate and some find an inspiration and admiration and wanted to travel too. In conclusion, building a relationship involves intentional effort to get close to someone. Topic selection and genuine interest can make you step closer to someone and you must be ready to reciprocate, because authentic curiosity about others makes them authentically interested in you too. **Thanks for reading!**

Hunger Headache Last night I skip dinner, and eat banana only, it's not because I am on a diet but because during our dinner time I am not hungry, so I decided to skip my meal. I was in bed watching kdrama at around 10:00 pm, I felt a little headache and I wonder why. There are only two reasons why I sometimes experienced headache. First, too much exposure to sunlight, and second, when I am hungry. Since I didn't went outside, then the reason for my headache was the latter. It got me curious, why do we experienced headache when we are hungry? We experienced hunger headache when we haven't had enough to eat, we may not only hear our stomach rumbling but we can also feel the strong headache coming on. Hunger headache occurs when our blood sugar starts to dip lower than the usual. Being hungry can also trigger migraine headache to some people. Symptoms Hunger headache often resembles to tension headache in symptoms. And some of the common symptoms are as follows: Feeling as if there is a tight band wrapped in our head Dull pain Feeling tension in neck and shoulders Feeling pressure across forehead or the side of the head When the blood sugar gets low we might notice these other symptoms: Fatigue Stomach pain Dizziness Shakiness Feeling cold These additionally symptoms will appear gradually. It may start with just dull headache but as we delay eating, we may start to notice the other symptoms. Hunger headache symptoms start to resolve within 30 minutes of eating. Causes ****Dehydration****. The thin layers of the tissues in the brain can start to tighten and press on pain receptors if we haven't drink enough water. ****Lack of caffeine****. Caffeine is a stimulant the body becomes accustomed to especially if we had three to four cups a day habit. If we haven't enough caffeine in a while, the blood vessels in our brain can enlarge, increasing blood flow to our brain causing headache. ****Skipping meals****. The food we eat especially the calories are the measurement of our energy. Our body needs a consistent energy source in the form of food as fuel. If we haven't eating for a while, our blood sugar can drop. In response, our body releases hormone that signal our brain that we are hungry. This same hormone can trigger headache. Treatment We can usually relieve hunger headache by eating or drinking. If the caffeine is low, drinking a cup of coffee or tea can help. I remember, when I was a kid my parents always told me to eat on time and never skip a meal. **Lesson Learned:** ***NEVER SKIP YOUR MEAL.*** ~@jabs **Thanks for reading!**

Hurt that never heal and How to cope with them Some hurt will always be part of us. It makes us grow to a strong person. They don't define us, but they serves us our daily reminder of the unforseen challenges that may came in our way. We've done everything to help ourselves. But then again one day we wake up with a familiar ache in our heart. We distract ourselves with many things, like exercising, travelling, working extra time, and etc. but still the pain we felt remains. Even if we forget it briefly for a moment, it return soon after. A distressing reminder that nothing really changed. The hurts that never heal are rarely discussed openly and denied. We tend to comfort ourselves with words of encouragement, that everything will be fine. But deep down in our hearts, the pain is haunting us and it sometimes grow deeper. Common hurt that won't heal ****Death of a loved one****. This is perhaps the deepest hurt that everyone experience, although we know that everyone will go through. When the people we loved is taken away from us, especially when it happen unexpectedly, we struggle to go on or move on. Everyday, we rememeber them then suddenly we reminded that they are gone, leaving a space in our heart that may never be filled. ****Addiction****. This a particularly cruel affliction because the person we loved is still there but they are no longer themselves. Witnessing someone we love fall into addiction is a hurt that is truly heart-wrenching. ****Chronic illness****. The thought of possibly having an illness is indeed a heartbreaking. We refused to believe that it is true. We start to think of the people that we may leave behind. We struggle with the fear that our condition may be worse. ****Betrayal****. A betrayal by someone we loved and trust cuts really deep. We trouble trusting others and push them away because of the fear that they will hurt us again. Betrayal not only makes us doubt others but it also makes us doubt ourselves. ****Permanent injury.**** Daily tasks that were simple before now take a great deal of effort on doing. People we will look at us with great sorrow and pity that makes us feel pathethic small. We wish that it never happens but we were forced to lived with it. Realization hurts. ****Trauma****. Trauma leaves an imprint that endure and can change the course of our life. When it is activated, time and space stop and we find ourselves trapped in the feeling of terror. That terror may live inside us quietly or overwhelm us in any moment. How to cope with hurt ****Turn hurt into a mission****. We are hurt and we know its feeling. Lets channel the hurt in a profound sense of mission. As we are given another chance to live, lets make each moment to give hope and help others who undergo same experience with us. Helping others will not only trigger healing in them, but it also triggers healing us as well. ****Share your pain****. A support group or group therapy is wonderful and safe way to practice opening our heart and letting others get close to us. Communicate with others who suffered similar experience. Isolation is the enemy of healing. It makes us more in pain and depression. ****Keep growing****. Grieving our pain is important but it doesn't have to dominate our life. Don't give hurt the power over us by playing the victim. Acknowledge it and move forward despite of what we are feeling. Hurt is our reminder that life is fragile and also life is precious. It inspire us to live in the moment and appreciate life more. **Thanks for reading!** Other Articles: Digital Stress https://read.cash/@Jabs/digital-stress-704644bd The Hiccups https://read.cash/@Jabs/the-hiccups-0b26828d To People Who Wants To Gain Weight https://read.cash/@Jabs/to-people-who-wants-to-gain-weight-67d9f6a1 Want to lose weight but feeling lazy to diet and exercise https://read.cash/@Jabs/want-to-lose-weight-but-feeling-lazy-to-diet-and-exerciseread-this-d67dac7a Tricks for Registering Fingerprints in Phones https://read.cash/@Jabs/tricks-for-registering-fingerprints-in-phones-f13fa340 Ways to put Envious Feeling Behind https://read.cash/@Jabs/ways-to-put-envious-feelings-behind-a6719f4d Random Words of Kindness https://read.cash/@Jabs/random-words-of-kindness-0e119711 What is Pink Lens Effect https://read.cash/@Jabs/what-is-pink-lens-effect-6e062f6f

Digital Stress ***Do you know how much time you spend using your smartphone?*** In the past decade, smartphones become am status item to an indispensable part of our everyday life. We spent most of our time using smartphone. We spent 4 hours a day on an average. There is an increasing body of research that shows smartphones can interfere with our sleep, productivity, impulse control and mental health. Even having a smartphone within reach can reduce available cognitive capacity. But we should be more concerned with the potential for smartphones to shorten our lives by chronically raising the level of cortisol (one of the body's main stress hormone). The cortisol is mislabelled as the primary "fight or flight" hormone that springs us into action when we are facing a threat. It is produced when we are under stress. It's role is to keep our body on high alert by increasing our blood sugar levels and surpressing our immune system. This serves us well when dealing with an immediate physical threat that resolves quickly. Many people say that theu feel more stressed now than before they had a smartphone. Smartphones actually play in elevating the level of our cortisol throught out the day. We often see articles, news and post that quite disturbing, the toxicity of some people that makes us stress. Social medias makes us feel tethered to our social networks exposing us to conflict, cyberbullying, and fostering us to social comparison and the fear of missing out. The stress we feel in using the social medias can caused us to do things we shouldn't do and we shouldn't feel. It can also awakens our emotions like envy and jealousy. *I remember, yesterday as I was browsing videos in youtube, one video clip get my attention. In that video clip, a girl used her friends photo in her social media account to attract boys and likes. When she was asked why she do that, she didn't answer.* That act may caused by feeling of missing out, that awakens her envy and jealousy. She maybe wanted the attention that her friend was experiencing, more likes and boys. Digital Nutrition Have you ever tried not using your smartphone within a day or two? If yes, what do you feel about not using it? If you haven't tried it yet, why not try and discover your feelings and emotions when not using it. There is unofficial condition called **nomophobia** or ***"no-mobile phone phobia"***.  Is used to describe a psychological condition when people have a fear of being detached from mobile phone connectivity. This condition also shown to increase the cortisol. **Here are some tips for maintaining healthier smartphone used:** Take off all the unimportant app notifications so you can take control on when to look at your phone. You can also allocate certain time to be a notification-free. Take some time to complete a digital declutter. Unfollow people or pages and unsubscribing from email list that can cause stress or you do not get any benefits. Set a digital curfew to support better restoration sleep. Don't keep or put your phone within your reach. Intead of reaching your phone first thing in the morning, start your day with some exercise and meditation. Be mindful and cautious how often you pick your phone. Instead bombarding your mind with information, use your time to clear your mind with some breathing exercise. Maintaining a healthier relationship with our smartphones where we are more mindful and intentional of what we consume digitally.
