This is one of life's injustices. Some people must carefully pay attention to what foods they must put in their mouth in order to maintain their weight, while other people can eat anything with their hearts content and achieve the same results. How do this people manage to never gain weight?
I know you know few people who are like this. Eating like there's no tomorrow but still managed to be lean and thin. We may think that they are blessed! We may enviously wonder, how are this people still so thin? Maybe they discovered some magic spell and enchant it to themselves so that they can't gain any weight.
Reasons:
There are some reasons why such people never gained weight even they gobble foods as much as they want.
Family History. One of the reasons is cause by genetic. Some people have a naturally low BMI due to physicall characteristics that run in the family.
High Metabolism. This is one of the most common reason. If a person has a high metabolism, they may not be gain weight as much as food they eat or even eat foods with high-energy foods.
Frequent Physical Activity. Athletes or people who engage in high level of physical activity may burn the food they eat fast.
Physical illness or Chonic disease. People with this condition may experience difficulties in gaining weight. Having disease may results to decrease a person's appetite so they do not feel eating.
Mental illness. Person with mental health problem can affects the ability to eat. Some people experiencing depression, anxiety and etc. can cause the body's appetite.
While some people are busy finding ways to lose weight, there are also people who are eager to gain weight. Ironically speaking, some people are jealous to people who doesn't gain weight, while some people are also jealous to people who can gain weight easily. But what most ironic is that, some people find it hard to lose weight and some find it hard to gain weight.
Ways to Gain Weight
As it takes a lot of effort and patience to lose weight, it is also the same in gaining weight. Some may find think that it's different, but it is actually the same. We just need to follow the opposite.
Here are some ways to gain weight
Adding snacks. Foods with high in proteins and carbohydrates helps a person to gain weight.
Eating several small meals a day. We eat three times in a day. Eat small several meals through out the day.
Incorporating additional foods. Instead of eating the meal that was prepared, add some foods with calorie-dense food.
Don't drink water before meal. Water can easily fill our stomach and make it hard to get enough calories.
Drink milk. Drinking milk can quench thirst can simple help us gain weight. It is rich in proteins and with calories.
Use bigger plate. Small plate can cause people to eat less.
Add cream to coffee. It is a simple way to add more calories.
Get quality sleep. We all know the importance of sleeping. Sleeping can help muscle growth.
Eat protein first and vegetable last.
Don't smoke.
There are plenty of ways to gain weight but what we want is to gain in a healthy way. Therefore, it is essential to eat healthy foods even in gaining weight.
