Family And Prayer
Happy Sunday you all...
Today has been a very stressful day for me cause I have to let my patience, love, morals guide me although the day. I already had an article topic to write for today but I guess I would do that another time and this occurred due to what happened yesterday at my grandma's. I would share what happened and talk about prayer.
Family
No matter how hard life is, no matter who turns their back against you, FAMILY will Always be there for you. Recently I read an article on readcash about the difference between FAMILY AND RELATIVE, it's so painful I can't remember the username of the writer, would have loved to tag him/her.
They said, family is not just blood-related people, but people that are ready to give their all for you, people that are always there when you need them, people you can run to when the whole world is against you. No matter what happens, a family doesn't sly on family, family doesn't betray family. Some may say I take this family thing like vin diesel of fast and furious or like Klaus and Elijah of The Originals.
Recently my cousin and little sis had a misunderstanding on their way home due to my sister rudeness, you know how girls can be when they are upset, they continue to argue in the car on their way home, she said some mean things to him and he allowed his anger to get the best side of him, he parked his car, In that cold night and dragged her out of the car, shut the door and zoom off. Luckily I wasn't home to ask him where my sister was, I was at a night party, she called me and was about to cry, after explaining what happened to her favor, I left the place in anger and headed home. I had plans to deal with him since we are of the same age, I'm just quite bigger, but I thought of it again, I know how annoying my sister can be but I would never do such to her. Before I got home, grandma had already settled the dispute and he apologized to her but my sister refuse to apologize. You see, a stubborn girl. I already spoke with him and he shared his grieve with me, I understand him but told him he didn't act like a family, if anything had happened to her, we wouldn't be seating together talking right now. It took all the goodwill in me to handle the matter maturely, I'm just glad Grandma is around, she scold both of them and caution my cousin not to do that again, grandma point was " she's the youngest in the house, and will always get on our toes but that shouldn't be a reason to toss her away, we are family and we should let love be the foundation of our bond" I was wondering why she was including me in the correction like I did anything wrong. But was glad she was around.
I had planned on talking about prayer today also but I guess that would be another time, I'm so exhausted right now.
In conclusion
Always make sure you love your family, let love rule, there is a word that is common in my country "Blood is thicker than water" meaning, no matter how one can misbehave or act, as far he or she comes from a family, the family will always love that person, that phrase has a lot of meaning, you can drop yours in the comment section.
Thanks for reading, I hope you learned something from it. You can follow me for more and my prayer article is coming next, you shouldn't miss it... I'm sure you will learn from it too.
