How to restart...
It's been a long time coming. And I hope this time I have really come afresh.
It's been a hectic and frantically occupying period for me. Even I have been looking for me.
Interesting, isn't it?
Oh well, I've been everywhere, yet not there, but definitely at some place, but not there...yet.
Picking up my brush to start painting has been like a call to a very needed, yet unwanted task. Isn't that such a travesty!?
Now that I've branched off this street, let's hope it wouldn't be a next time to another long time.

To Someone Special...
First, I wasn't counting. Then suddenly, I realised how much I had lost count. It's been what...? A week and some, since my last. But today, I have something new.
Greetings to all you fine people out here. It's been long since my last article. I just got super busy preparing for the next phase of my many next phases...

Oh well, it's international women's day today the world over. So I thought 💭, maybe this is my chance to pick my mojo.
Disclaimer: Don't expect something much. Only expect something nice... 😊 So that I can deliver more.
So, if you are a female (girl, lady, woman) reading this write up, Happiest International Women's Day to you! Yes, YOU.
Now, let's hit the pause ⏸ button here for a minute, and take a sneaky off course. Shall we? Happy International Women's Day. Or #HIWD, for short, or for the hashtags... I have a question: What will the non-natural gender distortionists do, or how will they feel, or what will they say today? Hmmm...? I'm more than thinking out loud here.
Remember I said let's go off course. I called it off course because ordinarily I should have stayed with the topic with the defined gender here. But I guess it's OK to rabble some, don't you think so, too?
So those who in their "intelligence, and wisdom, and advancement" created something against nature for themselves, what'd be their take on a day like this? Not like I care at all, I just wonder what their situation would look like today. Now, these are my sentiment, I'd like to say, mildly. Still, this is corrupted —their confused state of existence.
OK. Enough of the lashing.
From the top of my head, the International Women's Day was created, like the many other special days, to recognise the woman, give her credit, encourage her, maybe spoil her some, all just to let her know that though a lot of things may not be like it should be with respect to all her innumerable efforts, we love and appreciate and wish to say THANK YOU to all women making it count regardless of the odds against them. And this recognition is being done at an international scale.
There are too many contents with which to shower our love for the women in our lives, one way or the other, and this piece cannot do justice to that. But please allow me to put something together here.
The woman (and the man) has a Designer. A Creator. Like every other product that was designed or built by someone, or some company, there is an operational manual. Why? So that we can operate, make the best of and properly maintain the product for best value and service. The woman is no different.
I say this to say that with all the too many disturbing manifestations the world over, especially addressing the women, we can salvage and make the most of it all without necessarily having to pull these women down, and live falsely by shouting beautiful things about from the rooftop only on their special days. We can help them make every day special, for them, and for us all.
Well, someone would scream, WOMEN DON'T NEED SALVAGING! No. They don't —or don't they? But the narrative does. The stories do. Their lifestyles do. Their being objectified does. Their being "used" does. The list is endless. I posit that if the women are properly and rightly nurtured from their homes (if you miss it at home, you'll almost miss it for a terribly long time, if not forever), with the best manual, by both parents —male and female, except in the inevitable absence of one, the world at large will be a healthier place to live.
I do not wish to burden the women with the survival of the world. But if you take care of yours, it will take care of you!
And what's this manual I've been hinting at? It's the Bible. God's Word. Yes. You may not agree with me, yet. And that's OK, except you forever refuse to. However, when we, the men, fathers, the husbands, the male leaders in various fields, when we uphold the woman's place and values like it should be, without making it look like we are doing them a favour, oh, what a beautiful place our homes would be, and inevitably, our society at large.
I point to the Bible, to hold the men responsible and accountable, yes. But even more so, I point to the Bible because it has and gives balance! By this I mean that the woman, no matter how well nurtured, without "knowing her place, and keeping it, without usurping it," would be the bigger of the blessings!
The world today as we know it is warped. It so twisted and corrupted that the equality war being waged by the supposed nurturers of nature have left their proper place and all things are falling apart.
It is like the design of the human body. Imagine the spine crying out for justice ⚖ due to inequality. You get the picture now. The spine is no less important because it is placed somewhere at the back. Without it in its assigned role and placement the entire body system would collapse! And what would it have achieved? A "modern," "spinistic" world where life would be best remembered in the "good old days..."
If we must enjoy the blessings of and from the women as God designed it, we all must play and graciously keep our assigned roles. We can't change the world, or make it better
Truth is no matter what we do, the world is decaying and dying, and nothing can stop that. However, we can make our own world, our personal lives, families and immediate environment a better place, borrowing from the scriptures, "as much as lieth with you."
God in His infinite wisdom and design had perfected everything beautifully. As long as we follow and live by God's Word and principles, we shall escape the corruption that is in the world.

Happiest International Women's Day to every woman out there. I pray that God helping us all, we would learn to appreciate and help each other to realise that best of us. Remain blessed 🌴 in Jesus' Name, Amen.

**WHAT IS A BUSINESS?**
The term business can com from two perspectives;
1. It's an organization or enterprising entity engaged in commercial, industrial, or professional activities.
2.The term business can also be used to define the efforts and activities of individuals to produce and sell goods and services for profit.
Note 1: In choosing a Business there are things you must put in to consideration;
1. The kind of Business

■ or rendering of services
2. The Business Structure.
WHAT IS A BUSINESS STRUCTURE ?
A business structure is a legal representation of the organization of a company.
It defines who owns a company and how the business distributes its profits. You’ll need to have a business structure in place before registering your business with local, state or federal governments. Choose carefully because changing to a different business structure later can be restrictive and costly. You may want to consult with a business counselor, accountant or attorney before making your decision.
Note: The kind of Business you will want to venture in to will determine the kind of Business structures to venture in to..
Such as:
1. Sole Proprietorship
2. Partnerships
3. Corporation
4. Limited liability company. (LLC)
**3. THE BUSINESS LAWS OF THE STATE.**
This talks about the stipulated guidelines or rules of a particular state or governments concerning business establishments.
**BUSINESS STRUCTURES:**
There are 4 major Business structures ventures by business entities
1.Sle Proprietorship
2. Partnerships
3. Corporation
4. Limited liability company. (LLC)
In choosing each of these business structures based on the kind of production or services rendered you will need to put the following in consideration..
This considerations will help you know the kind of Business structure suitable for your business
1. The cost of running the company
2. Limitations of liabilities
3. Tax benefits
4. Number and nature of stakeholders.
Note: when all this are put into consideration you will now determine the kin of Business structure to chose for your business
Let's explore each of them in details:
**1. Sole proprietorship**
In a sole proprietorship structure, one person owns the business and runs its operations. It is the most common business structure because it is the simplest to set up. If you plan to work alone, this may be the right structure for you. Keep in mind that in a sole proprietorship, you, as the owner, are personally liable for all of the business's financial obligations such as debt and losses.
This structure works well for low-risk, home-based or retail businesses. A sole proprietorship can also allow an owner to test their business idea before creating a more formal company.
Advantages of the sole proprietorship structure include:
**Complete control**: As the sole owner, you have authority over all business decisions and do not need to consult with other partners, directors or shareholders as you do in other structures.
Easier start-up: Establishing a sole proprietorship business does not require you to fill out any forms or pay government fees.
**Simple tax reporting**: Since the business isn’t considered a separate entity, expenses and income will be included on your personal income tax return. As an added benefit, you can use business losses to balance out the income you otherwise earned, which can lead to a higher tax return. The self-employed tax credit also may be available.
**Privacy**: Sole proprietorships do not require filing annual reports with state or federal governments. Therefore, your business will not be subject to public disclosure unlike other structure types.
2. **Partnership**:
In a partnership business structure, two or more people own and operate the business. There are two types of partnerships:
**General partnerships**:
The partners hold an equal role in owning and operating the company as well as liability for its debts, other partners’ actions or financial obligations. This type of business structure is also known as a “limited liability partnership (LLP).”
**Limited partnerships**:
A limited partnership (LP) includes general and limited partners. The general partners hold the same role and liability as they would in a general partnership. The limited partners, usually investors, have limited control or input into the company along with limited or no liability. Profits are reflected in personal tax returns.
A partnership is the simplest structure for multi-owner companies or professional groups. It also allows owners to test a business idea before establishing a more formal company
Advantages of the partnership structure include:
**Simple startup**: Setting up a partnership does not require filing paperwork with the federal government, though there may be a few forms to fill with your state government.
**Few tax forms**: In a partnership, the business does not directly pay tax on its income, which means you do not need to file business tax returns. Instead, the profits and losses pass through to the individual partners' personal income tax returns.
**Shared finances**: Having a co-owner can reduce the financial burden of starting a company since the partners can split purchases and overhead costs. Also, banks are more likely to offer loans to multi-owner businesses, which will also help in the early stages of financing your business.
**Combined knowledge**: Having a partner can help grow your business by providing skills or expertise in areas where you are less familiar. They also bring another perspective for decisions about how to run the business or other important issues.
3. Corporation:
In a corporation, the company is considered an entity that is independent of its owners. This makes it more complex and expensive than most other business structures since it must comply with more regulations, record-keeping and tax requirements. You may want to choose a corporation structure, also known as a “C corp,” if you have an already established medium- or high-risk business, need to raise funds, have plans to take the company public or sell it.
Advantages of corporations include:
**Liability protection**: Owners are not held responsible for a corporation's debts so personal assets—such as your car, house and savings—are protected. As an independent entity, a corporation can file and receive lawsuits, but you are not personally liable for such legal actions.
**Continuity of business**: Corporations base ownership on the percentage of stock held, so the business can run without disruption even if a shareholder leaves or sells their shares. This also allows for more flexibility in transferring ownership.
**Quick capital**: Corporations can raise funds by selling company stock and offering shares as employee benefits. This, in turn, helps grow the business and support it in times of need.
**Tax exemptions**: Though owners pay a double tax on business earnings, corporations can deduct certain benefits provided to employees such as retirement plans, health insurance premiums, life insurance and other related expenses.
**Other corporation types.**
There are several other corporation types, including:
**Benefit (B) corporation**: This corporation type is a good choice for for-profit businesses structured to make a positive impact on the environment, society and such.
**Closed corporation**: Also known as a “privately held company,” this corporation type has few shareholders, is not publicly traded and has limited liability protection.
**Open corporation**: Open corporations offer stock for trade on a public market. The corporation owns the company.
**Non-profit corporations**: This corporation type is for companies that do not focus on making a profit. The business is tax-exempt since it serves to help others.
**S Corporation**: The S corporation business structure has the liability protection of a corporation along with added tax benefits, making it more appealing to small businesses. However, it must meet specific IRS criteria to be listed as an “S corporation.” This structure, also known as an “S corp,” has two limitations: it cannot have more than 100 shareholders, and its shareholders must be United States citizens. S corporations can only sell common stock, which lets shareholders elect the board of directors and vote on company policies.
Becoming an S corporation requires:
—Meeting eligibility requirements
—Having a single class of stock
—Having 100 or fewer stockholders
Advantages of the S corporation structure include:
**No double taxation**: Business profits and losses pass directly to the shareholders' personal incomes and appear on their tax returns. This means the S corporation only has one level of federal tax to pay and shareholders not subject to corporate tax rates.
**Liability protection**: Shareholders in S corporations are not held personally responsible for the business's debts and liabilities. This lets them protect their personal assets, such as bank accounts or property, from creditors.
**Simple ownership transfers**: An S corporation is an independent entity and shareholders can sell their shares without tax consequences. The business can also continue to run undisturbed when losing a shareholder just as it does in a corporation.
**Cash method of accounting**: While a corporation must use the accrual method, S corporations without inventory can use the more simple cash method. In cash accounting, you record income when you receive it and expenses when the invoice is paid. Accrual accounting records revenue and expenses when you earn them, regardless of whether you have received cash or payments.
**Limited Liability Company.**
A limited liability company (LLC) is a hybrid business structure that lets you take advantage of aspects of partnerships and corporations. To set up an LLC, you must file paperwork with the secretary of state of the state in which you plan to do business. This structure works well if you have a medium- or high-risk business, want to protect your personal assets or pay a lower tax rate than you would with a corporation.
Advantages of the LLC structure include:
**Limited liability**: Because an LLC is an independent entity, you are not personally responsible for debts or lawsuits filed against the company. If the business goes bankrupt, your personal assets will be protected, though you may lose the money invested into the business.
**Pass-through taxation**: Rather than paying corporate taxes, the company's income and expenses pass directly to the owners' personal tax returns. They will then pay income tax on the profits. Since the owners are considered self-employed, they may claim the self-employed tax credit. It is their responsibility to contribute to Medicare and Social Security.
**Added shareholder participation**: An LLC can have an unlimited number of shareholders, and those shareholders can fully participate in the company's operations. This structure provides more flexible management than a corporation, which uses a board of directors to oversee policies and officers who manage daily operations. Keep in mind, though, that some states may require the LLC to dissolve and then reform if an owner joins or leaves the company.
**Flexible distribution of profits**: Unlike a corporation, an LLC does not need to dispense its profits to shareholders based on the number and type of shares they hold. Instead, owners can decide how to divide profits. For example, a shareholder who contributed significant funding during the startup process could receive more profits even if they have equal shares as another participant.
**How to choose the right business structure**.
You have outlined your business plan and researched different business structures and now, it’s time to choose. However, your new company fits into more than one type of business structure, so how do you choose the right one?? Here are six factors to consider when choosing a structure.
1. Control: If you want primary control, consider a sole proprietorship or LLC. Partnerships bring in others, but their control can be detailed in the partnership agreement. Corporations require a board of directors.
2. Capital investment: Corporations can source funding—such as investors and bank loans—by selling stock or securing more funding. Single proprietorship use their own credit or take on partners. An LLC also has difficulty raising funds, but it’s not always necessary for the owner to use their personal assets or credit.
3. Flexibility: Review your goals and business plan, then compare how each structure aligns with your plans. The structure should support growth and change, not limit its potential.
4. Complexity: Sole proprietorship is the simplest business structure, but it can also be hard to find outside funding. Partnerships require signed agreements for roles and profits. Corporations and LLCs must report to state and federal governments.
5. Liability: Determine how much personal liability you want to carry. A corporation has the least amount of liability since creditors or customers can sue the corporation but do not have access to your personal assets. An LLC has the same protection and tax benefits. Partnerships share liability between partners. In a sole proprietorship, you carry all the financial liability.
6. Taxes: Determine how much you will have to pay in taxes. Sole proprietorship and LLC owners pay personal income taxes. Partners claim their share of the profits as personal income. Corporations file their own tax returns, paying taxes on profits, but they also have more tax options and exemptions.

Do You Know This Bible?
Did you know about the Bible that…? There are many things to say about the Bible, a lot. It is almost inexhaustible. This article seeks to focus on the facts about the Bible that may not necessarily be spiritual, but true with available facts.
In the book of Acts 1:3 “To whom also He shewed Himself alive after many INFALLIBLE proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:”
I already imagine that there’ll be sequels to this article.
Faith. Faith does have purpose, and value, and it can be used intellectually. Based off of that foreground, let us begin this journey into Biblical facts that, hopefully would strengthen our conviction in God.
The Bible:
The Bible is not a book, like many would refer to any other book. The Bible is a collection of 66 books, written by over 40 authors!
The Bible was not written in 1611 like some people ignorantly and erroneously claim. What happened in 1611 was the publishing of the Bible, the Authorized Version of the King James version, also known as the KJV. It was translated from the original Greek into the English version.
I believe in God. A lot of people do not believe in God, and that’s OK. God has given every man a free will and choice.
The Bible was written over a period of 1500 years. There’s never been a book like that. That the Bible as written over a 1500 years period dent make it the Word of God. No. it just makes it worth considering, because there’s never been nothing like it. It gives you a reason over many others.
Historically:
Archeologists have been using the Bible, both the old and new testament to search for and find places, things, place, civilization, buildings, people, kings, etc of over hundreds of years ago, that otherwise didn’t exist, but the Bible said they did, and they were dug and discovered to exist. There they were. Does this make the Bible the Word of God? No. It is historically accurate. People really existed and did write down what they saw. It is way worth considering, the Bible.
Jesus:
Well, many doubted God, still do. God from the first book of the Bible spoke of His coming to the earth, among other over three hundred accurate prophecies. God, Who exists beyond space, time and matter came down on earth to fulfill over three hundred prophecies. Jesus did! Never happened in all of civilization.
Well, some said that the Old Testament Bible must have been written after the birth of Christ. Now, the first Greek translation was done over two hundred and fifty years before the birth of Jesus Christ. How could it have captured over three hundred prophecies that were all precisely fulfilled – Jesus’ birth at Bethlehem, betrayal for thirty pieces of silver, crucifixion – before there ever crucifixion became a capital punishment. Does this make the Bible the Word of God? No. But it is starting to get really close. Some believe in Jesus, some others don’t. And like is I stated from the beginning that’s OK, that’s how humans are, because God has given man the right of choice and free will.
Jesus said He was going to die and be resurrected, and he did. Nobody’s ever done that before. Ever.
Then the disciples of over three years of walking with Jesus deserted Him, like He said, and like any of us would. But shortly thereafter, they all assembled again, waiting for His promise of the Holy Spirit. And all twelve of Jesus’ disciples died for Him as martyrs. Why would they do that!?
The disciples of Jesus died for one reason; THEY SAW Jesus DIE, AND THEY SAW HIM RESURRECT!
Never a man accepted and chose to die for any eternal cause in all of history – not to kill, or to be used to hurt or kill another, as far as God and Christ is concerned. Millions have died for their Christian faith, persecuted for their belief, yet, ever so willing to die. And die they did, gladly and joyfully!
The Bible helps to prove the fact of God’s true existence beyond any reasonable doubt in all history. Glory be to God through Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

A Telecom Experience.
Arriving at about a quarter past 8am this morning, I met five people sitted already. They were being issued paper tags for queuing and coordination, since everyone had to take a sit and don't need to remember who came first, before or after who...
About to sit, I slightly wiped the surface of the plastic sit to check for dust, (we were sitted out in the open, by the road side, in front of the office building, downstairs) so there was a slow but sure collection of dust, both over the sits, and we the people...
I was at Glo office —Nigeria's 🇳🇬 indigenous telecom service provider, with every conceivable indigenous telecom service problem, and more...
I had been at this same office some weeks ago but was unable to buy a new SIM card. Which was the same reason I went today. We were told that the National Identification Number (NIN) services was down nationwide. So there was nothing anyone could do as far as purchase and retrieval of SIM cards were concerned.
The NIN is the spawn of the modern day human control system being created the world over. NIN is the Nigerian domesticated equivalent. Just as similar as the Bank Verification Number (BVN) that was mandated some years back. Whether NIN or BVN, one could argue for them, and correctly so.
However, given the tangent of world events, anyone who cares to know and understand what is going on will clearly see that behind every identification and security detailing required by the government is disturbing reality. The government as we know it today is just a piece of pawn in the global order of human control activities. It is the 1% of the 1% trying to control the lives of over 7 billion people on the planet today. This is my personal opinion and you definitely don't have to agree with me. But if the world powers must convince you to give up your privacy and freedom, then they must sell you something convincing enough.
OK. So, this article isn't about global agenda, but one thing connects with the other. Let's get back on point now.
While waiting for us to be called inside in turns, I saw something interesting, almost disturbing. My only regret was not acting fast enough to take a picture. I thought it was going to be there when I was ready for it.
Actually, I began to write this article while we were waiting and yet to be called inside. I didn't want to lose my mojo!
What did I see? I saw a man, not any young man, but a mature man, I suppose in his early 40s, putting on a wedding ring... on his wedding finger... in his left hand. Yeah. Your question. What about a wedding ring? And what's wrong with the finger. It wasn't about about the ring or the finger as it was about the type of ring the man was wearing. It was a woman's type of ring, with all the distinguished design and adornment for ladies.
It was a beautiful ring. The ring 💍 had a diamond (not real diamond) design, shiny, and a heart shape design (with the word 'love') encrusted. The shape, style and design were unmistakable. Again, what if I'm right!? 😁
By 8:50 am they started calling us in, using the issued numbers, serially. By this time 4 more people had joined us. I was number 5. Only one person, the first person, number one, had been called in, and she wasted no time. She was done almost too fast as against the average time of about 10 minutes.
The Glo office was housed on a rental. The top floor of a two storey building. At the ground floor was So Fresh. I didn't have any meal before leaving the house this morning. Which was perfect, except I was leaving for work. I craved the rich looking shawarma advertised on So Fresh outside glass display. At the end, that was all I could do, crave!
Something happened.
Suddenly, there was a call by one of the security guys that everyone should come up. Well, it wasn't much of a thing, though. The reason why were first sitted outside and not let to go straight in is kind of obvious. COVID restrictions. Earlier we were already reminded to kindly put on our face masks while we waited. Well, the security man did say "kindly".
Coming upstairs was bae! I mean, the cooling system was on. We were away from the noise of the major road, and the dust, too. We sat more comfortably. Sitting in a nice and beautiful place affected one's overall frame of mind. In fact, by this time, I was enjoying putting this piece together.
It was 9:21am exactly by now. I was waiting my turn, as was everyone else. The numbers were being followed accordingly. It's 9:22am now. Let me wait for what to add to this write up.
Meanwhile, pretend this is a transmission break...
Oh, by the way, the man with the ladies ring had returned. I think he quickly went to attend to some business while we were waiting to be called in. He borrowed my pen to write and promptly returned it after he was done. He came up to join us upstairs when he came back. He was number 3. By thus time he'd come around to sit next to me, still, I was unable to take a quick picture of his rather amusing wedding ring 💍 on his wedding finger.
So before I could finish typing out this paragraph he'd moved to the front row so that he easily take his turn. Three persons had been attended to already after we came upstairs.
While waiting for my turn, a distant uncle of mine called, to my instant shock —for no other reason except that he never calls by that time. Though there was something to discuss. I was supposed to call him, later today, or tomorrow. Still, the call was overdue.
It was already my turn to be attended to, and I was still on the call, about 5 minutes already. I'd already filled out the required form for the new SIM purchase. So all I had to do was sit across the desk from the customer service attendant, while she went through my details. Upon her satisfaction, it was time for face and finger print capture. I managed through it, with the call on going. By the time she was done attending to me and needed my payment, I still was not done with the call. She had ton hold unto the SIM pack, while I finished with my call, or make my payment. I wasn't having sufficient cash on me, so I was going to make a transfer. However I couldn't even make the transfer, because being on the call for so long had my data connection inactive. It would have been easy if I was connected to a WiFi network.
I stepped out to the balcony to continue with my call. It really was a very important discussion, and I wasn't going to be hurried through it. By the time I was done with the call, it was few minutes past 11am already. I made my transfer, waited for receipt confirmation, but their network (not surprising in Nigeria that a telco provider would not have service right in the service center) was not working.
I patiently waited a bit longer, and I couldn't wait anymore. I had to show the lady attendant my bank debit receipt so that I could leave already. Though she looked unsatisfied, I just had to leave and not suffer for their own inadequacy. By the time I walked out of the building it was already 11:41am.
All I went through to buy a new SIM card.
What a day today.

Yes. Let's take a moment and dig a bit in... Let us assume that after throwing that celebration in your new mansion last night, you woke up this morning to rush and catch up with your daily activities as you would normally do...
Just while we're about to get up and start doing that, you saw your body still lying helplessly on the bed.
You were shocked. You tried to pick up your iPhone 12 Pro Max Ultimate (that phone that you always turn to FIRST every time God wakes you up every morning, before you even acknowledge His existence, that's if you even still do that) to call your (Rev) Pastor, or friends, or relatives and you suddenly realised to your shock and dismay that you couldn't pick it up.
You tried opening your wardrobe to pick some money you hid there (that money that you can freely and happily spend on anything you wish for, but never for God or His house - the Church, nor tithe and offering. That's when many people become smart, educated, intelligent) and, again, you discovered that you couldn't. What used to be your money you now can no longer touch, let alone take. Where are all your BRAGGING RIGHTS now?
You started crying but no one heard you. You can't believe what has happened to you! You are now in a reality that you will never need anyone, friends or foes, Pastor or Church members, to explain to you what is going on. Because by that time you will understand that you know all things. You have always known all things in your spirit man. It's just that you have always been giving first place and preeminence to your body and physical life at the detriment of your spiritual life and your salvation in Christ Jesus.
You try touching the gate to go out, but you simply went right through it. Effortlessly. Without even trying to. It's a new reality. You know it clearly. But it's not the Metaverse.
You went outside and your house mates were chatting and talking freely but you were neither seen nor recognised. After some minutes, almost immediately, you saw your family and friends, your neighbours and those people that you have sworn you will deal with them, and never talk to them. No you can't do a thing. You now don't understand why you even had such a silly problem with them. They are all coming out of your room with heartbreaking cries, hitting their hands on your brand new Range Rover Jeep. Friends and strangers now.
The difference doesn't count now. It doesn't matter. Whoever and whatever.
All you could hear them saying is "HE IS GONE" or "SHE IS GONE" You stood there watching them cry their hearts out in pain. You aren't transfixed, yet you can't move. It's feel like watching a drama or being in a dream. And you're very correct. Because you are now in the real, real world. So you asked yourself WHERE EXACTLY AM I GOING?
A billion dollar question...
Your spirit started to cry bitterly, but you can't cry now. It's a different place altogether. Oh. I see... It is because you were not prepared to start that journey so soon. Too soon.
People of God, my BRETHREN, where exactly do you think you are going to if you stop breathing right now?. Are you aware of your final destination?
`Or should I mind my business?`
Remember your creator now because we have a place to go. So start preparing.
They say that it is from sleep that we know what death looks like.
What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loos his soul...?

The Job Saga...
Some years ago, one of my aunties made a statement to me that has remained indelible in my mind ever since, and has served as the core of my working principles. And that statement is this; *“THERE IS DIGNITY IN LABOUR.”*
That fateful day, we were at the new Church site, all hands were on deck working to set things for the commencement of the new parish. That was when I was still in the fold of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. The commission served as the foundation of my active work and service to God. It built me in no small way. That story is yet for many days.
**A Tribute.**
Suffice it that I say that I am forever grateful to God for the privileges, trainings, exposures, opportunities, people and blessings that I enjoyed in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David Parish, Rumuoke, off Ada-George Road, Mgbuoba to be precise. Abrahams Villa Area, Port Harcourt.
In the RCCG, there a bi-annual national evangelistic mission observed globally, wherever the RCCG is domiciled. (This is not a write up on the RCCG, however, certain facts must be stated.) That annual mission is called Let’s-Go-A-Fishing, held in the Easter month of April and the festive month of December. It was during one of this LGAF event, while we were at the new parish that my aunty taught me that powerful lesson.
**How It Came About.**
While we were at the site, with every available Church member on ground and doing one form of work or the other, with the necessary hired professional labourers – such as the carpenters, and others needed for some technical work, I made a statement. That statement was with every good intent, but unwise nonetheless. I said to the hearing of my aunty, “If I had money now, I would have just hired people that will do all this work and pay them, instead of all this stress.” – paraphrased. It was in response to this statement that she said, and in effect teaching me, that there is dignity in labour.
Like an engrafted work of art imprinted upon a metal surface for an ever-lasting effect, those words, with the weight and import, never left my mind till date. That has driven me and always made me to value and regard honest labour as against fancy/dreamy money-is-everything mentality and lifestyle prevalent today. This was in the year 2010/2011.
It’s been almost 12 years today, and those words still make me humble myself to find and do honest work. Working is not an option, but given the environment and expectations I had growing up, making money seemed to override labour. What a travesty. The desire to make money seemed to blind the mind without recourse to the means and how. Blue-collar/low earning jobs were despised, whether or not one was well off, or not. It was an evil that I never knew. A cancer I never realized was about to form. Thank God it was nipped in the bud.
**Today I am writing about this dignity of labour for two reasons;**
`a) I am struggling with a good choice,`
`b) Someone needs to hear this.`
Personally, I do not like working for people. I don’t. I’d rather do my own business, or be in a work setting that gave me as much flexibility as I needed. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with this. However, there are times when one must swallow a difficult but necessary pill.
Being someone with a vision to working and earning money via the rather vast tech industry, by way of application of technological skills to solve problems while making money, I find it hard that I have to consider going to do a 9 – 5 job. Yet, giving the very challenging situations, with not so much time to generate income to attend to the very pressing needs, it seems one must do what one must do. I dread office work in an office that is not mine.
I do not in any way wish to discourage whosoever works a 9 – 5 job. I would gladly do a 9 – 5 if I were to be a certain type of career inclined person. There are paths that thrive in that line. I am adventurous by nature. Now you see where I am coming from. That notwithstanding, money must be made because bills must be paid.
Every time I think of a 9 – 5, all I see is limitations. It seems to me that I’d rather take my time to climb out the hole than be forked up with an office job. Is that what they call job security? I don’t know any more.
But then again, it is not as dreadful as I may seem to be painting it, which in truth is not my objective. When I do step back from my misgivings and take a look from a different perspective, I see so much light. I see so much opportunities I could harness. I am a people-oriented person, which in effect implies that if it’s a job that will be taking me out or exposing me, then I should anticipate it. But why am I not? Mindset!
Something else tugged at my mind during my introspection, fear. Maybe it is a fear of the unknown. No. that’s not true. But still, I can’t seem to completely shake off that feeling of… what’s that again? Uncertainty. I have this fault of mine, which is that I love to be in charge. It is not exactly a good thing, especially if you are the type that has a daily walk with God. He always expects you to trust absolutely in Him, whether or not you know what lies ahead.
I have prayed about this job interview that I will be attending today, Wednesday, 23rd February, 2022. I am not afraid of the interview. Never. I completely trust in God for His verdict and favour. It may surprise you that I almost wish it goes south so that I can lie to myself that at least I made a move. Strange? Naa… I don’t think it is. Such kind of reasoning happens to us at different levels. Mine is looking too big right now, I know. But it is the counter-productive truth nonetheless.
God's Verdict.
Whatever happens today, I’m in good hands. I’ve committed it to God. I can only do as He leads. I’d rather that than anything else. Let the Holy Spirit lead me, in Jesu’ name, Amen.

Meeting Beautiful Melanin.
'...the unimaginable happened. Miss Melanin was taking a sit at my table. This time I decided...'
Having so much to write with the trouble of what to settle for, let me sample you with something interesting, relaxing and fun. Something worth your time, even for a third reading! Let's go!
Prologue...
What is this experience I had meeting this black and beautiful lady? Love at first sight? One of my best memories? What exactly? Well, nothing of that sort. But definitely something I'm sure will make you... smile. Like you just did now. 😁
The Plot...
OK. So, I went to this restaurant and there was this man sitting at a corner table for four, alone, with a plate full of whatever it was he was having.
As I walked in, I directed my greetings to him, but got no response in return. From the entrance one could easily make him out at that corner, before noticing anyone or anything else.
His expression was, to be honest. He seemed to me to be in a state of thought I'd rather describe as limbo, in between himself. His face wore the expression of an expectant mother waiting on her child to say or do something, while at the same time wondering if the child understood what was expected of her. I thought this man must have an idea of his destination, but unsure of what to expect there.
He wasn't wearing a frown, and neither was he smiling. Yet it wasn't a plain face. I looked around the place. Actually fewer people than I'd expect at this time of the day. It already past 12pm. And no one seemed to pay any attention to him. I thought this man, let's call him Big Joe, looked too obvious by himself.
I looked again at Big Joe, and what I least expected happened. Big Joe caught my gaze, and held it for what felt like an hour. I managed to fake what felt like a real smile to me. Just then I felt a little tap on my left shoulder, a lady was asking to pass through to Big Joe! How long have I been standing there!?
Managing a cough, I said my apologies as I stepped to the side to let this black beauty go through. So apparently Big Joe has been anticipating, fantasising would suffice, the arrival of his female companion, whoever she was to him. And in what I imagined was speed of light the restaurant was almost full, from barely three minutes ago when I was pretty much empty.
Collecting myself together, I walked briskly to the waiter to place my order at the display stand before returning to find a table to wait, and eat.
Suddenly...
Suddenly I felt full. I couldn't understand it. Checking myself, I was feeling a bit nervous. It should be because I was out in thought for some time, standing there till I needed to be recalled from my mental globe trotting. I didn't like the way I was now feeling. The hunger had returned.
Right ahead and opposite me was Big Joe and the beautiful lady. I couldn't help but notice the smooth tone of her dark skin. `Menalin had an ambassador in the building.`
I felt like Joe had his eyes on me. Looking up almost immediately, I was wrong. It was the black queen who caught my gaze with a wry smile on her lips. I smiled back almost involuntarily. Not yet realising I was waving at her! This time I decided I was really full and no longer hungry. Something was not right with me. I needed to settle this once and for all!
Walking over, I asked, not Miss Melanin, or Big Joe, but the waitress who eventually took my order, to package it for take-away. I wasn't going to sit here and have some people feel me over with thier eyes. This was unlike me. I should be the one controlling the narrative. But I was caught at unawares, and I hated it.
The Twist...
Waiting at the table for my food, and the machine to pay with my card, the unimaginable happened. Miss Melanin was taking a sit at my table. This time I decided I've had enough. I held her gaze, and she didn't flinch.
Placing her green folder on the table, a quick glance at the print and I understood clearly exactly what was happening. Lezor Tambari —according to her complementary card, was a real estate marketer. At this revelation something else happened, involuntary, too. I heaved a sigh of relief. And my smile was pure and genuine.
`Looking over at Big Joe, the man left me wondering. I too was wondering why he was wondering. Just then I started wondering, from the look of his face, why he was wondering that I was wondering at him for wondering why I was wondering that he was wondering... OK. Enough of the wondering challenge! 😂😂😂`
If Miss Lezor could read my mind, I wouldn't mind, neither would I have felt any embarrassment. This was to me the definition of a coincidence.
Whatever was happening to me today lacked every form of empathy. It was bent on having fun at my expense, because my food was now served, packed for take out, but now, I was feeling hungry!

**The White Paper.**
This is a work of fiction. I was having my pen moment. More interesting is this fact: in the process of writing this article, I've written two others. This one was born from the second, which was born from the first.
This is what I mean. I started off writing from an experience, a very short post that I'd written before. While building on that, I vied off to write about the importance of food and healthy eating. Then I ended up here with Big Joe and Lezor Tambari. All works of the figments of my imagination.

Big NFTs You Can Invest In.
To begin, what is an NFT?
An NFT is a digital asset that replicates real-world stuff such as films, in-game items, art, music, and so on, according to Forbes. They're exchanged online, often using bitcoin, and they're built on the same core software as many other cryptocurrencies.
Furthermore, while NFTs can be anything digital (such as paintings, music, or a downloaded AI of your brain), a lot of the hype and enthusiasm revolves around exploiting the technology to sell digital art.
In a more secure sense, NFTs are one-of-a-kind cryptographic tokens that exist on a blockchain and cannot be duplicated, according to Investopedia. Real-world goods such as artwork and real-estate can be represented with NFTs. These real-world tangible things can now be bought, sold, and traded by "tokenizing" them.

Some businesspeople and investors treat NFTs like stocks, buying and selling them on the fungible market to make money. If you've already purchased a collection of NFTs and decide you don't want them anymore, you can easily sell them just like you would if you made them yourself. The minting process is the only thing you'll skip here.
A healthy community will support a successful NFT initiative. The programs with the highest levels of engagement are usually the most successful. NFTs are more than just art collectors; they are members of a group in which a culture has developed, and that culture has developed a following.

3. CryptoPunks.
Oh, yes, we're still representing CrytoPunks.
These 10,000 algorithmically created punks are among the most expensive NFTs ever sold, accounting for three of the top five most expensive NFTs ever sold. In fact, an ultra-rare extraterrestrial punk was sold for $7.58 million and is now on the market for a staggering $142.4 million.
Even more absurd is the "Covid Alien," one of nine of these "alien punks" that sold for over $11.7 million at Sotheby's. He is, after all, the only character in the series that wears a mask, so it's clearly a good deal.
4. Mic Drop by Pepsi
"Pepsi has always been a brand with a strong heritage in music and pop culture," says Todd Kaplan, Vice President of Marketing at Pepsi. "It's only fitting for us to bring that legacy into the new world of NFTs with a'mic drop' of epic proportions."

Users can interact with the terrain and other gamers as well as buy and sell digital real estate. The platform's day-to-day activities are governed by two sorts of tokens. These are the following:
LAND– A NFT that is used to define the ownership of digital real estate land parcels.
MANA is a cryptocurrency that may be used to buy LAND and other virtual products and services in Decentraland.
6. MonkeyBall
"MonkeyBall is a next-gen esports game in the metaverse that allows players to Create, Play, Compete, and Earn," according to their website.
Multiplayer gaming is combined with Solana Blockchain, NFTs, and De-Fi in this game. So, how do you go about playing?
MonkeyBall is a play-to-earn football game with a turn-based system (soccer for all the Americans out there). As a player, you'll be in charge of a four-monkey squad that will compete against the teams of other players. The game's winner receives $MBS, which may be used to purchase stadiums or to watch other games.
Each Monkey NFT has its own 'DNA,' which is made up of its physical look, trainable talents, and special features. The 'DNA' and rarity of a monkey have an impact on its ability to compete in and win bouts.
MonkeyBucks ($MBS) are available for purchase on exchanges and used to purchase in game items from the store.
7. Axie Infinity - 2021's Highest Volume
Axies are the creatures that appear in Axie Infinity, a popular blockchain-based game. Prices today range from 5 ETH to 100s of ETH, depending on the Meebit's rarity. Meebits are 3-dimensional characters that may be utilized in open world blockchain applications and are intended for use in the metaverse.

👉Some young people have the impression that work is part of the curse. Work is a blessing not a curse.
👉 God created man to work. You will notice in Genesis that after the creation of man, God placed him in the garden and commanded him to work.
👉 When we don't work we function below our capacity in life.
👉 The blessings of work is that work builds a man up. Work develops you. Work develops a man's character.
When you work you will develop the ability to do certain things like : •perseverance- that is staying on the job until it's done
• you will develop the ability to set goals
• you we also develop the ability to drive yourself to accomplish difficult tasks
👉 Every young person should not just work, but should learn how to work hard. And beyond working hard, should learn how to work smart.
It is only those who work smart that seals the deal at the end of the day
¤ I declare today as you work, you will reap a hundredfold harvest from your labours. The wisdom of God to work smart is flowing through you abundantly this season.

The Day I Understood Love.
**If I must tell it, I must tell it all...**
It was late last night - Saturday the 19th of February, 2022, and all I wanted to do was read some. Never did I knew what was about to happen.
**My heart was about to be opened...**
Today, I humbly submit that after these many years in the Christian faith, in my walk with God, in my handling of God's Word, I HAVE NEVER KNOWN WHAT LOVE IS! That's a lot to say, and that's the truth.
I just finished reading the book "Growing Up Spiritually" by Kenneth Hagin, and boy was I blown! Kenneth Hagin in the 5th part of the book spoke firmly about Love and insisted that every believer should study the books of 1 Corinthians 13 and the three epistles of John - 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
I have spoken on love, claimed to love, tried to prove my love, preached the love of God even to sinners. Oh, what have I not said about love!
Boy, my soul right now is burning inside me... I see that the love I have professed over these years even in the name of Jesus has been my own love, not the Love of God! Those two are way too incompatible! Ah! I didn't want to share this, but I couldn't keep it to myself.
Goosh! I can't even say I have comprehended it yet! Oh, such depth in Christ to know!
My love was no love. It missed the Holy 🔥 Spirit by several tangents. And how do I know this...?
God has taught us to do what He has exemplified to us in Christ Jesus. He's been patient and long-suffering with me. Waiting till the day I come to the realisation of what the Life of God I carry on my inside truly is worth. Though I have never been worthy, yet has He never condemned me, but has loved me before the foundation of the world, waiting ever so patiently and sweetly for my continual growth in Him till I come to the knowledge of this truth.
1 Corinthians 13!
1 Corinthians 13! What have I been reading all these years? What have I been doing? How have I been leaving?
Reading that passage of scripture in the light of the Spirit of God illuminated my mind so much that I feared God greatly. I saw clearly that one could do so much with the best of intentions (but not in sync) and it'll still be chaff in God's sight.
Have I been taught about that before? Yes. Severally. So what then am I saying? My metric of love, with all my best intentions, have been below God's standard. God's metric is not "good things, sacrifice, or even my best." God's metric is Love. Not my love. Not any type of love, but God's Love! When you "see" this Love, everything changes completely! God's Love, True Love ✝️.
To know what Love is, and isn't, is to dwell on 1 Corinthians 13 and I, II & III JOHN!
Am I now a master of Love? An expert? Do I now know what love is all about? No. Far from it. But what I see is what God's Love is like and about —a glimpse of it, an illumination, and I want to know even more. I want to flesh it out. I want to know this Love in a very tangible, practical and experiential way... I have read through this passage of scripture many times, but this time I saw Light!
**Let us look at some of these verses from 1 Corinthians 13...**
1Cor.13.1 If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don't love, I'm nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate. (MSB)
1Cor.13.2 And if I have prophetic powers (the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), and understand all the secret truths and mysteries and possess all knowledge, and if I have [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but have not love (God 's love in me) I am nothing (a useless nobody). (AMP)
1Cor.13.3 If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don't love, I've gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I'm bankrupt without love. (MSB)
1Cor.13.4 Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn't want what it doesn't have. Love doesn't strut, Doesn't have a swelled head, (MSB)
1Cor.13.4 Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. (AMP)
1Cor.13.5 Doesn't force itself on others, Isn't always "me first," Doesn't fly off the handle, Doesn't keep score of the sins of others, (MSB)
1Cor.13.6 It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. (AMP)
1Cor.13.8 Love will last forever, but prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will all disappear. (NLT)
1Cor.13.13 And so faith, hope, love abide [faith - conviction and belief respecting man 's relation to God and divine things; hope - joyful and confident expectation of eternal salvation; LOVE - TRUE AFFECTION FOR GOD AND MAN, GROWING OUT OF GOD'S LOVE FOR AND IN US], these three; but THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE. God help me as I continue to grow in Him.

It says in 1Cor.13.12 that "Now we see things imperfectly as in a poor mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God knows me now." (NLT)
What I am excited about today is the liberation on my inside, in my heart, about the Love of God, what it entails, how it transforms, how it takes me from my bearish standards and shot me up into a most brilliant ecstasy.
`I love the way God loves me. I want to love the way He Loves. God IS Love. It is who God is, Love. I am Love, too. It is the stuff I am made of. I was created in His Love. It is my spiritual nature, and I am a spiritual being. Now I choose to Love internationally like God. Hallelujah!`
It is a wonderful thing to share this with you beautiful people... I pray that the Holy 🔥 Spirit will illuminate your mind like He did mine. It is not something just to be talked about. It is a life to be lived.

Maybe I didn't love you before now. Maybe not correctly. Maybe selfishly. Maybe, just maybe in a non-God's-Love way, do forgive me 🧎🏼♂️. I have been blessed 🌴 by this light.

Sometimes we are so familiar with and used to certain things that somehow we end up missing what's important.
Like I mentioned earlier, love, in any shade, is nothing new to me —including the Love of God. But in the process of seeking to get more into God, to actually GROW in my spiritual life, I borrowed the book in reference (Growing Up Spiritually, by Kenneth E. Hagin) and as I read it with an open, willing and hungry heart, I learnt so much that if I were to talk about it, that'll be several episodes unending.
Of the many teachings in that book, Love, God's Love was one of the things that stood out to me in a new light.
I highly recommend the reading of GROWING UP SPIRITUALLY to any one who truly wishes to build or solidify his/her Christian Faith. Beyond what you have been told, there is a knowledge that can make all the difference in your walk or fall in God.
God bless you mightily as you make the effort to invest in your spiritual life, growth and stability in Jesus Name I pray, Amen. 🙏

I trust your day went well. Today is Saturday the 19th of February, 2022. It may be just another weekend for some while it may be a special weekend for others. Whatever it has been for you, give God praise!
OK. So, what do I have to share with us today? Specifically general. Yes. That's what I've got typed out here below. They are random, no doubt, but they are specific, detailed, particular, directed, suitable, etc.
It is no more random than it is specific. This is because this piece of literary work were individual writings that I have decided to put together for your reading and meditative pleasure.
I am sure that within this space you will be able to find something(s) that will strike a cord or two in your spirit. So, do well to take your time and think about which ever one it is for you.
****Let us begin.****
1. Stop being surprised at why evil and wicked people reign.
Instead be surprised at why you yourself stopped being a true believer, faithfully committed to God's perfect Word. God is true in every circumstances.
You are as good as you know the Love of God.
Hallelujah!
2. Think the best of people, yes. You should. And believe it. Not for them, but for your own good, first. It's healthier and safer. Go forward.
3. THE Holy 🔥 Spirit can show you exactly what to do! I am a testifying witness to this.
So, why not stay with Him instead of worrying over what He has already taken care of!?
Digital transformation is the adoption of digital technology by a company. Common goals for its implementation are to improve efficiency, value or innovation.

...a baby seems to think everything he can get his hands on is intended for his mouth. That is Ignorance!
We need to be careful what goes into our spiritual mouths. We need to be as careful about what we read as we are about what eat physically.
Don't gulp down poisonous doctrine which will destroy your spiritual life and ruin your testimony.
6. Pain is weakness leaving the body.
7. Do I think you can do this? I think you won't know until you try. And just remember, train the monster you have, not the one you wish you had.
8. "Choice is an illusion. You already know what you have to do."—Bugs. I find that very interesting, and insightful...
9. The motive of an emotional expression is where meaning lies...
And finally...
10. You can confess the scriptures and not come into the experience of the scriptures because there is no illumination!

The True Meaning of TGIF!
Hello. A very beautiful day to you. I trust your week has been well and I hope you're still enjoying it.
**Forward...**
However your week has been I know it could have gone differently, maybe worse than what may appear to be bad for you right now. In any case, an attitude of gratitude can save you in the remainder of the week, and surprise you with the blessings 🌴 and answers that you seek.
**TGIF - thank God it's Friday**! At least there's always the feeling of happiness, relief, relaxation, partying, outing with friends, weddings, special events, etc... The list is endless, I know, and you can drop some in the comment box at the end... These, and more are the characteristics of TGIF.
**Question...**
Why are people so excited about Fridays?
I am based in Lagos. Where are you based? Do well to share with us in the comment box.
If you are based in Lagos like myself, you'll know for a fact that the hype of TGIF is no small thing! O yes. In fact, it is so important that this little article cannot do enough to touch on the TGIF euphoria. So, let's make the most of what we can here. Shall we..? OK!
**Impressions...**
It is almost impossible to miss a weekly and constant impression of the TGIF wherever you are, whatever you do, whoever you are, and wherever you live. And what are the major platforms of this endless one day excitement?
Here they are; WhatsApp statuses, Facebook posts, Twitter trends, Instagram posts, targeted social media marketing ads. Friends, colleagues, neighbours, family and just about anyone around, in addition to the digital platforms, do not cease to tell you, or shout it to your face!
**Why...?**
And why is this so? Why are people so excited about TGIF? What's the excitement and jubilation all for? Like, what is it that is so special about Friday that one cannot but expect, consciously or not, the last weekday hype? Why?
I'll tell you why. And while I'm at it, do well to find your own list(s) , or just share with us in the comment box. So, the list range as follows:
**Working breaking.**
Too many people are overburdened with their jobs. They are not working because they like their jobs but simply because it's a necessity. The Bible calls it a necessary evil. This has very strenuous effect on most workers so much so that as Friday draws near, they finally have an opportunity to greet TGIF! It's time for the two days break! Time to dress differently, sleep longer, forget the endless traffic. It is time to rest, and refresh, and recharge.
**Weekend break.**
Similar to the working break is the weekend break. This break is different because it is the only opportunity that so many people have of ever attending to other very important topics, issues, businesses, etc that they cannot find time for during the week. Whether they like their jobs or not may not be that important to them. One break, any break, TGIF will do!
**Home break.**
TGIF is the acronym for "Let's go home" for a lot of people. This particularly has to do with those people who, due to the nature of their weekday engagements, are unable to meet with their family or even visit if they wished to. So TGIF sounds like "I'm coming home!" Calls, text messages, video calls prepare the way...

**Travel break.**
Oh, this one is huge! This break clearly implies that people are able to travel. The room for travelling here differs in meaning to different people. For some, it is for a particular vacation. Others use it for special visitations. For others it is that travel that they've been planning for only God knows how long now! If they miss it this TGIF, it may never be possible again. For others it is for no more than a space for sanity. The workplace of some is so unhealthy that this travel opportunity will do them a world of good!
**House break.**
This break is not the same as the home break. This break is especially for those people who live very far away from their homes. This people live in one town and work in another, maybe different states/provinces. This break is not just about them going home, no. It is more about them leaving the house of thier residence for work, so that they can get to their own personal houses to give give some space and room to their "accommodators". It breaths some relief in both parties.
**Health and exercise break.**
This break is the one break that some take in order to attend to their health, in the forms of exercise, medical check ups, meditative time, etc. Under this break we can also find those who attend to hairs - cutting, braiding, styling, etc. This is vital.
**Chore break.**
This break is quite peculiar to women. Maybe not entirely, but majorly. This is the one time, usually based on schedule, that some would have to tidy up their homes —do their laundries, fix some units in the home, electrical, furniture, etc. One can also do a major revamping of the house at this time. It also includes power (generator) machines, car servicing and maintenance. Of course, like the travel break, this one too is scheduled.
**Store break.**
This is not break from the store. No. On the contrary, it is the break that enables many people, also gender tilting, to attend to their stores and kitchens. During this break, people stock up on food stuffs, provisions, toiletries, cooking gas, utility bills, all things food for the next month(s).
**Planning break.**
This is our last break (in this article.) This break is one of the most important of the breaks. Those who don't have or observe this break seem to suffer unnecessarily because like they say, failing to plan is planning to fail. Those who take this break plan ahead. They sit down, take the time and plan everything imaginable, which is a key ingredient for success in any field, pursuit or endeavour, personal or otherwise.

DANGER! Public Safety At Stake.
**This is NOT FUNNY!!!**
I was in my guy's room the other day (a long time ago, though.) We were each doing our thing with our phones. Someone else was seeing a movie on a laptop, while I lay on the bed working.
I remember that was shortly after I went to the Ikeja Computer Village to replace the charger of my laptop, which had caused me some distress and made me unable to use my laptop for some time. (I wrote about it here.)
Why am I suddenly writing about something that happened some weeks ago? Why now?
I was just going through my phone gallery when I came across some pictures I took of a particular brand of biscuit. Crackers biscuits.
So, on that faithful day, while working on my post in my friend's room, there was an open pack of crackers biscuit lying just next to me. Having satisfied that I could have some, I did. And that was were the bland magic happened.

But before I go on, I must mention that no one seemed to have noticed that something, anything at all, was off about the biscuit. In fact, someone argued, asking me when I last had it? Directly implying that I may have forgotten what it was like. The guy next to me said he had it just recently. He even added that he thinks the biscuit was all good, as usual.
It had been very long, of a truth, since I last had crackers biscuits of any brand, but I wouldn't be contravened on something I knew too well. I was certain something was off. I was insistent, and in the end, they absolutely agreed with me. Or, did they...?
It was @Freedom007 that bought that pack of crackers biscuit. Yes. The same Freedom mentioned in my recent article. He just seem to have a way of earning notable mentions! OK. That's not by the way... I caught you there, didn't I? Very well.
**The main story...**
What exactly was the problem with the biscuit, you are rightly wondering. And I'll tell you, just now. It tasted... Wait for it... Differently! But if that was all that there was to it, it wouldn't have bothered me too much. It had a very particular taste. That was what got my head in a frenzy and racing through memory streams to understand what actually was happening in my taste buds...
**That crackers biscuit tasted exactly as... No. That was not crackers biscuit in a crackers biscuit pack. That was not crackers biscuit tasting differently. That biscuit was something else. Yes. It was packed in what looked exactly like an original crackers biscuit pack. But it was not crackers biscuit. It was a completely different biscuit in a crackers biscuit pack, and I'll tell you exactly what biscuit was put in there, because it wasn't what was sold that was being tasted, or eaten. No. It wasn't.**
When I mentioned to the guys in the room what I thought was in that pack, they didn't agree with me at first. And why not? It wasn't hard for me to understand their situation. The pack was original, like the real pack would look like, so that alone was enough for them to not want to agree with me. But, you see, I knew what I knew!
**Proof...**
The taste of the pudding, they say, is in the eating. And that pudding wasn't crackers. No. That pudding was cabin biscuits! Yes! Absolutely! The guys, having had some bites of it, were beginning to analyse the breakdown from their taste buds, albeit, quite too slowly, given the fact that they were the more frequent crackers biscuit eaters, and I was not!
At further examination, I also noticed that, apart from the taste being completely wrong for the brand, it was also not as soft. Neither was the thickness I was feeling in my hand. And finally, it was exactly the cut, shape, size weight and taste of cabin biscuits! OK, wait a sec, maybe not "exactly," but you get the point now :)
*In case you are yet to fully understand just exactly what happened there, that pack was carefully pirated, repackaged with what it wasn't, while using it to sell something else of similar condition.*
Cabin biscuits packed in a crackers biscuits pack! I don't know which one got to me more. That it was a fake, or that it was bought from a supermarket which should ordinarily be selling the right product and not buying adulterated food items.
The health implications is another talk for another day. On that ground, I will consider this the less of a possibly worse evil! But maybe that would have easily given the perpetuators away, had the contents been completely off in a sense from anything that the general public was already used to.
Finally, this is a wake up call for we all to be wary of what we consume. If your senses give you a red alert ⚠, regardless of what your eyes may be seeing, or others saying, double down on your checks. Our bodies age with time and it is best we are very careful about what we feed it with today.
It is said that it is better late than never. Still, don't be late at all! Cheers, and thank you for your time and encouragement.

Dynamic Lagos - You Wouldn't Imagine This!
Over a fortnight ago, it was quite late, but we needed to buy something to munch on —I was with a friend, and it was for hunger sake.
We needed to buy some things for beverage and... I think bread to go with it, and biscuits. It's kind of fussy now, the buys.
He'd gone to one shop which was closed, as may be expected. It was almost 12am. But Lagos in it's character could still be awake —very much awake, depending on what neighbourhood you lived in.
This time, we decided to go again, check some other stalls that may be open. The first was already locked. It was now just past 12am. However, we could still see pockets of lights here and there, indicating possible shop activities, but all closed.
Looking up ahead, it was a dead quietness of no activity. I asked him if we should check out a street off the road, just a few paces from our exploring position. He said no. That was the first place he'd gone to when he first came out himself.
The cars, and buses and tricycles moving about gave one a sense of a busy-ness in that night, as with every other night. It made one think hopefully. And hope turned out favourably when we spotted the "aboki" man whose table still held provisions. But just before we took the few steps to get across to the seller on the other side, an incident was already building up. There seemed to be an obvious altercation.
Yes. This is past midnight!
Suddenly traffic had built up. There was more cars than should be held up at such hour of the night. Lights were collecting into a stage set. Honkings and the attendant bickering that should only be expected before one could make head or tail of the disturbances.
There were two parties notably. The car driver and the bus driver. But they spoke exchanged non-pleasantries in Yoruba all through, and I could not make out what was being said however loudly, as I hardly understood the language, let alone speak it. Luckily, my friend did. But first, we had to be done with our business before any interest in the free late night show.
Having satisfied our needs for the night, I asked, "Freedom, please what are they saying?" as we stopped briefly, observing how what seemed to be a little misunderstanding turned into a serious cause of traffic, taking up several meters on the road which was currently under construction, making any alternative rerouting impossible.
These people had to leave their cars to come end the dispute so that they can go home, else it would have ended later than it did.
All cars had to wait it out. It would take long, but it would end, surely. Though unpleasant, but surely.
Freedom explained to me by interpretation what had happened. I was no more surprised than I was amused. I thought about it as I observed generally what I felt was a case of lack of professional conduct with the average Lagos driver. The public bus drivers were more notorious for their careless and nonchalant dispositions on the road, unmindful of other road users.
I recounted to Freedom one of my most disturbing experiences driving in Lagos, as we took the short walk back to the house. The incident of that night was really funny to me. The bus driver was not really at fault, but in trying to act fast and smart he instigated the anger of the car owner whose car was behind him, and he'd slightly hit rolling back. A simple apology would have sufficed. All would have ended just as immediately as it had started. But no.

The typical Lagos bus driver feels he has nothing to lose and doesn't give a hoof about a thing — that attitude alone is, in my own estimation, responsible for over half of the cause of road traffic in Lagos, with exception to major accidents, of which they still own a major stake.
In closing...
For one singular reason you'll almost never tire of seeing road and traffic dramas in Lagos State. It is dynamic! There'll always be something interesting about it. Why? Because you can always see clearly from the outside how it should not be an issue. But Lagos is never complete without giving you something interesting to wonder about.
Lagos generally seems to thrive by complicating the simple things and amplifying the complex things! Like we would say in local parlance, we meuve! (We move.)

A Touching Story - with an elderly man.
Af First...
I was in a hurry the other day and needed some cash, so I pulled over at a POS shop. An elderly man came up to me. I wondered, is he the owner of the shop, or just the operator?
I noticed a little a computer shop by the side and decided to quickly buy a flash drive.
While picking the type and memory size of flash drive that I needed, I asked the POS operator for N35, 000 cash and to include his service charge. He said that would be N700. I said OK.
The man counted out N35,000 cash and gave to me, after I had inputted my pin. I received the money without counting it and put it in my pocket.
He issued me my printed receipt which I trashed without a second thought.

After I paid in cash to the computer accessories seller for the 16G flash drive, I returned to the waiting Uber and left.
Suddenly...
For some unknown reason, I had the urge to take a look at the debit alert on my phone, so I quickly did. In that very moment I was surprised and confused. I asked my Uber to please pull over.
Instead of a N35,000 debit from the POS transaction, I was seeing a debit of N3,500! I held still, looked a little harder, but the figures wouldn't change. I looked away and looked back at the debit alert but it was still the same.
I looked back at the elderly man from my side mirror. I could imagine he was trying his best with endless thoughts on his mind on how to hold on through the hardships of life. His expression belied him. He had just unknowingly given away N32,200 to a total stranger for nothing!
Imagine that I left without a care. That man would have gone home with tears and endless thoughts trying to reconcile his account to no avail.
Maybe he'd be out of business for some days, or even weeks trying to get back up. Without even realising it this man had shot himself in the foot.
Making It Right
I was close to tears at this point. My Uber driver could not understand what was going on. I showed him the debit text on my phone, and he registered the situation immediately. I was unable to speak, and he seemed to read my thoughts as he pulled back in reverse.
I cleared my teary eyes as I stepped out of the car and went over to the man.
"Sir, do you want to make another withdrawal?" He asked rather excitedly. I just smiled and gave him my ATM card and said, "Please withdraw N32,900".
"Should I add my service charge?", he asked. "Just do as I said," I responded. All done, he was about to count out the cash for payment and I said, "Sir, please don't bother." He looked confused. "It is your money," I continued. "You overpaid me in the first withdrawal. You paid me more than you debited me."
Before I knew it he was going to prostrate before me in gratitude, but I wouldn't let him, an elder, to do that. I held him up and quietly walked back to the Uber and went on my way, and I could still hear him saying many thanks with prayers of blessings.
Last Words...
I don't know what struck you the most in this story, but like little drops of water, we can each contribute to make the world a better place for everyone.

Let me share my short love story today with you. I hope it entertains you... It's a val something. Pen 🖋 to paper 📄.
About my val...
About my val... I called her this afternoon, after our lil WhatsApp chat in the morning.
I said, happy valentines day to you. Smiling sheepishly, of course - but to myself! She responded sweetly... Then I thought, golden moment! Strike two: I said, I love you 💖. And I quickly added, will you be my val?
That was suspect cos, why not...? (I love my love sweet and spicy, with friendship and fun.) But she shocked me with her question, if I could bring light 💡! We both burst out laughing at her question of me bringing light! Truth is, she is a very kind soul. She's been so patient with me over the years. Oh, she gives me money —very important, and also she loves me so dearly, even more than I can tell. Her love has so much faith in me and pulls me up every time she can, even when it's not easy for her.
Confession: all I was trying to do today was simple, TO BEG MY AUNT FOR VAL MONEY. But e no work! It wasn't successful, and understandably so.
Oh well, we move, like we say in local parlance, to try again another time.
Post Script:
If you had no val to specially celebrate with you today, don't go punishing yourself with thoughts, decisions or ideas that will do you little or no good!
Valentine has become so overrated in the world all over. As much as it is up to you, endeavour to show and reciprocate love every day to the people that you have in your life. The size doesn't matter. The healthiness does. Those people you have are your light esp in dark times and moments when others (social media) cannot help you. Please cherish them.

About Real Love
Unconditional love. The true love is an unconditional love. It is the love of God for man. It's Christ that teaches you that kind of love by His loving you and dying for you on the Cross. Today that love is made real through the living witness of the Holy 🔥 Spirit on the inside of the man who is regenerated by being born again. This man has surrendered his heart to Jesus.
The liberty of not being kept under the bondage of natural, limited, convenient and conditional love of and for man.
It is not said. This love is not in words. It is experienced through you loving people not because they are deserving (who is deserving by himself before God?) but because the Holy 🔥 Spirit works it out in you —showing you first how that God so much loves you, especially. He, the Holy 🔥 Spirit achieves this through His breaking process. Hallelujah.
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on me, that I, CN Humphrey —and you, too, should be called the sons of God!

Was It Me, Dayo Or...? No Warranty!
**It happened sometime last year.** At least that was when it all started. Maybe that wouldn't have been the case if it had served me as desired. Still, this is just a record.
I called Dayo some time this year —early January, second week, and I complained to him that the supposedly original Acer laptop charger I bought from him with plenty verbal quality assurance is now very faulty - not working!
He didn't argue, but simply asked me to bring it. I wish it was all that simple. But no. It was a transaction that had gone through proxy. Who, now, I wondered, was going to accept the liability, Dayo, or Chukwuebuka the main seller (as I was to learn about two weeks later).
**It all started some time in December.**
But before I proceed, let me digress a little, and take you with me on quick sail on my religious sentiment. Yes. Simply because I find it both wonderful, and hilarious!
So, it was said that if you had money (to spend) on the 25th of December, 2021, then it was Christmas for you. But if you didn't have money to spend, then the said date was simply Saturday, the 25th of December! But for me, it seemed like 31 days in the month of December! Nothing particularly special. Yeah. I get it. But it wasn't all that doldrums. In the contrary, it was very revealing!
...December had turned out to be a month of incubation, meditation, reflection, and personal retreat for me. The major highlight for me was working on my prospects for the coming new year, 2022. To achieve this, I embarked on a month-long daily prayers, book reading, online courses, and planning. One personal strong discipline I laid down is that there should never be a movie whatsoever found anywhere in my laptop computer. Maybe on my phone, but not on my laptop. Now, it gets more interesting from here.
Being a firm believer in Christ, I practically relate every major personal experience with God's involvement. And, that was exactly what I did when my laptop suddenly stopped charging! I couldn't believe or explain it. Because the laptop charger led indicator was working, but my laptop would not charge. Just then I thought, "it is because I had broken my own law of discipline by collecting and keeping movies in my laptop," which had by that time clearly derailed me from my path of studying and meeting my set targets and goals in December. I thought to myself, after several failed attempts to make it work, that it was the will of God in action!
Now, fast forward from the second week of December to the first week of January, and I decided to try the charger again, and boom! It was working! I laughed like a man dearly loved by God, thinking to myself, God had made it not to work so that I could concentrate on my plans for December against the coming new year. Since December was gone and I had achieved most of target without my laptop and movie distraction, I could proceed. This seemed to be just it, a clear proof, at least for a very few days, till, again, just suddenly, the charger stopped working like it did in December of the previous year. But this time, it would charge a little and just stop. Sometimes not work at all. At other times, it will work for long hours till I put it out, till it completely got me vexed when it stopped working altogether, and I realised what was really happening. The laptop charger was now faulty, simple. And my religiosity thrown out the window! Goosh!
After over a week since I called Mr. Dayo that I was to coming for him to look at the charger, I finally went to Computer Village at Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. That was Tuesday the 25th. On arrival, Mr. Dayo did his tests with his multimeter only to tell me that the charger was "OK." But that he couldn't "understand my laptop." I insisted that the charger was faulty, his tests notwithstanding. Finally, he put a call across to someone and requested for an original "fairly used" charger to be brought to him. When it arrived, I immediately recognised the young man that brought it —he was the same person who sold the first one to me, and I got to learn that his name is Chukwuebuka. Mind you, I bought that charger around September of 2021. So it was less than four months of use.
Upon Mr. Chukwuebuka's arrival, I waited to see how it would play out, because honestly, knowing what gives in the local Nigerian market, I didn't expect to walk in with the faulty laptop charger and simply walk away with a new replacement - for free! That actually sounds like an American dream in Lagos!
Mr. Dayo came back into his shop and went to resume his seat, unable to tell me that Mr. Chukwuebuka was not willing to replace the faulty charger, or tell me anything tangible at all. I picked up on his cue, and took to speaking with Chukwuebuka myself. After quite some time of going back and forth about how he cannot simply replace the charger, we had to settle for a dismal discount of barely 12% of the original price of the charger. Paying N3000 ($7.22) for a N3, 500 ($8.43) charger.
I really needed the charger. But I wasn't happy paying for it, again. The fault of it had stalled my work. N3000 doesn't sound like much, I get that. But at this point, it really is. Plus the trouble and loss it had cost me. Not to forget I paid about N1000 in transport fare, to and from Computer Village. I wasn't pleased as I had expected to enjoy a better service and discount, but then, maybe I wouldn't be writing this article for you beautiful people to read and connect with my December 2021/January 2022 experience.
**Key take aways for me:**
The local market gives you no warranty on products purchased from them - 90% of the time.
The proper use and care of your electronic devices and equipment are entirely up to you, as replacement can be uncomfortable and probably costly - in time, loss of man hour, safety and cash!
Extra power protection can save you a lot of money in repairs and replacement.

I love the business world, especially when it's technology driven.

I LIKE CARS! Gosh! My passion for cars is so printed that I get upset with a bad driver with his own car! I'll have a lot of that toy...

I love music! It is said that when you're happy you enjoy the music, but when you're sad you understand the lyrics. I find that rather ludicrous! I mean, what where you doing on a normal day listening to music, banging your head to drums and beats? Music is meant to encourage, inspire and even challenge to do and be better... Oh well, I guess that depends on what you've been listening to.
