Types of self-esteem.
Low self-esteem.
High self-esteem.
Inflated self-esteem.
So today, we'll be discussing on the second and third types of self esteem.
High self-esteem: Unlike low self-esteem, which refers to little or no confidence in oneself, high self-esteem is the complete opposite. High self-esteem means having so much confidence in yourself.
For those with this type of self-esteem.
They love their appearance,
They love they talents,
They are not intimidated by the successes of others,
They always speak up whenever they feel something has been outrightly said,
They are not scared of airing their views,
They are not scared of saying "no"
They believe in what they can do and they thrive to do it best.
They believe in themselves and in their abilities,
They are least worried about people's approvals;
They are goal getters,
They listen to constructive criticism,
They are always bold, without the fear of being judged by others.
They are always ready to learn and are never scared of asking questions even if it's stupid to others. That's the least of their worries.
They are proud of their looks,
Skinny, fat, thin, Chubby, dark, fair, white. They are so proud of it. They are satisfied with their looks even when they don't have flat tummies, even when they are of average heights, short or tall. They are still proud of their looks.
They believe In themselves and give themselves praises even if the world seems to be less concerned.
They love others just like they love themselves.
Inflated self-esteem:
People with inflated self-esteem tend to see themselves as better than others, they always tend to underestimate others.
This particular type of self-esteem is above normal, a negative self-esteem that would hardly ever allow you keep friends, almost like pride or ego.
They love themselves more than they love others.
In this term, they love themselves to the deterioration of others.
Inflated self-esteem is wrong to have and could sometimes lead one to a season of doom.
They care less about your talents, achievements or story, they are only interested in talking about themselves and themselves alone.
They are always too and way too confident in themselves.
They hardly ever accept that they are wrong.
They don't listen to constructive criticism.
They are full of themselves and they act way too pompous.
They feel they are far better than others.
I doubt if these kinds of people would link you up to opportunities that are beneficial to you...
I'll love you, to air your views on this.
Apologies:
I'm sorry I haven't replied your beautiful comments on my previous article. Presently, my phone battery is reading 3%, I didn't plan to publish today, but I just had too, especially because I had already started drafting this article yesterday. I'll definitely reply all your wonderful comments to my previous article unfailingly; tomorrow.
When I was in junior high, there was this stammerer in my class who was always eager to ask the teacher questions on where he didn't understand. Even though other members of the class would laugh at his speech, he never felt hurt, soon everyone got tired of laughing at him and began to admire his high self-esteem. Infact, some boys who were finding it difficult to woo a lady shed their fears as a result of the inspiration they got from Idris. Lol
