I don't know how many times have I written about traveling already that I'm guessing some of you are already fed up with this kind of topic. However, I just can't help but always write about it because it's always in my mind.
Being stuck at home for almost two years now, my desire to travel to far places and explore out there just keeps intensifying as days pass by. Because who wouldn't want to escape and break from the daily boring routine of just staying at home and doing the usual things?
In an article that I have written before, I've shared that I booked a roundtrip ticket flying to Cebu and it is one of the things that I'm looking forward to in the year 2022. Before I decided to book a ticket and plan my solo trip to Cebu, I have also been building my Travel Fund through my Bitcoin Cash earnings. That travel fund I'm saving, however, is supposed to be spent for visiting some of my dream travel destinations in foreign countries so I can't spend it on my upcoming Cebu trip.
But the good thing is there is noise.cash to the rescue. Although I am not earning as much as before on that platform already, the small earnings I get to earn there will still be sufficient ones I save them all up for this purpose.
And because of that, I have decided to save a portion of the BCH I earn there and convert them into fiat to avoid the volatility of the crypto market. I have started saving my BCH Earnings from November already and I will keep doing it until September of 2022 comes.
For November, I was able to earn a total of 0.149 BCH or about approximately $85 just by making short and random posts on noise.cash every day.
I have already sent all of the Bitcoin Cash I earned from noise.cash to my coins.ph wallet and converted some (almost 0.1 Bitcoin Cash) into fiat and it amounts to ~$55 or 2,800 pesos. The extra BCH I earned is still on my coins.ph wallet and I will also save it for my Travel Fund.
We can't deny that traveling is an expensive goal and it really takes a lot of money to fulfill it. Even if you're just going somewhere near your place, you will still get to spend thousands because of the pricey transportation and other expenses that need to be covered.
I have searched some Facebook posts regarding other travelers' Solo travel to Cebu through a travel group I am in, and I found out that one can spend 15,000 pesos ($300) up to 20,000 pesos ($400) for a 6-days and 5-nights travel to Cebu. This amount already includes the fair going to the airport, meals, and snacks during the trip, daily tours, and entrance fees for all of the tourist spots, buying pasalubong or souvenirs, and extra pocket money for other expenses.
I wasn't surprised when I saw the digits because I'm aware of how expensive traveling can be but that's still a huge amount of money for me. However, I know that every penny will be worth it if you get to enjoy the place.
The fact that I'm from Pagudpud, which is like the northern-most part of the Philippines, means that I'll even get to spend more money because I'll be traveling a day more just to get to the Clark, Pampanga airport and going back to my home town.
If I get to earn the same amount on noise.cash and save the same amount every month until August comes, it means I'll get to save ~$550 (28,000 pesos) until the end of August. That amount will already be enough to cover my Cebu trip expenses and if I'll be sticking with my allotted budget, I know I will have extra money, which I will then save again for my future travels.
Just like what I have said before, Bitcoin Cash will make my Travel Goals come true. And I hope that noise.cash will still be up and running until next year so that I get to earn and save enough money for my travel goals. I'm optimistic that the fund will last longer because if not, then goodbye to my travel goals. Lols!
Until then, I'll keep making noise to save for my future Cebu trip!
