Filipinos Should be Ashame

There's a trending videos on social media regarding the food preparation in India. Lots of people make fun of it and gave funny reactions since people in India literally disrespect the food by mashing it with hands without any gloves wore. Other Filipinos makes memes regarding food preparation in India and sad to say that they didn't realize they are mocking the culture of other country.

Throughout the world, when people heard country India the first thing comes to their mind is poor country, poverty, corruption, dirty, slums, overpopulated and many bad things. This mindset was stayed on people's mind to the point that they are being discriminated if they moved to other places. In Philippines, Indians way of food preparation had been criticized and made fun by Filipinos.

They shared videos on how vendors prepared the foods, some vendors are stirring the drinks using their hands, the way they mixed the ingredients is through their hands and mashing the ingredients using their hands. It's been make fun by Filipinos by reenacting the videos and starting to prepare foods in inappropriate way just to get lots of reaction, they thought that it's funny but it's not.

They only do that for views and if you criticized them, they will only say that it's just for fun but not all actions are pleasing and funny to the eyes of many specially if its involved the culture where the people lived. What if Indians will also feel dumb like Filipinos? Can we accept that kind of act? we can't right, we are lucky that Indians didn't respond on what Filipinos are doing since it may create conflicts again on social media.

There's a reason why Indians prefer those kind of food preparation. The country is the second most largest populated area in the world and it has more than 1 billion citizen thats why the way of living is not that high. Corruption is widespread and many people are living under the poverty line, inflation are problems that's why people are finding ways to survive in life.

Indians use their hands to stir the drinks and touching the food with their hands is because it's the fastest way to make the food so that they can manage to save time and also accommodate their customers. It's already in their culture and it was already practiced many years ago before the criticism trends on social media about it.

We can't deny the fact that India is considered as poor country but when it comes to intellectual aspect then Philippines doesn't match on India. There are lots of Indian people who contributed lots of things in this world, they produce lots of students with specialization in Computer Technology.

We can't deny the fact that India is a beautiful country filled with glamorous things, in fact they can manage to rwce with fridt world countries if their government is determined to govern the nation to its success but sad to say no matter where place we go, corruption is widespread that's the reason why the citizen is greatly affected.

If we try to put ourself on Indians situation we can realize that we Filipinos have also ways to prepare and eat the food. We are also using our hands to mash those ingredients and even eat using our bare hands that's why we don't have any difference with Indians. We need to respectfully culture in order for them to also respect us.

Yes we Filipinos known for making lots of memes and bring happiness to the world but we should know the limit since we already stepping out of the line on what we are doing right now.

I think it is not about race anymore. It is being a person. We should respect people's culture and traditions. Some mock others but cannot accept criticism. These people should be avoided na lang.

The problem of peenoise is that they're so good at mocking someone no matter what that is, kasi they think it's fun eh. SUPER TOXIC and trash ng pag uugali ng mga peenoise (not all). Ang lakas pagtatawanan yung iba pero pag sila na yung pinagtatawanan, ang lakas makagalit. Lakas mang lait pero pag binalik sa kanila yung pang lalalit nila sa ibang tao, eh mang wawarshack agad. Pft!

Hmm, though this is the first time I'm reading of a thing like this going on, it really made me sad. We all should learn to tolerate and accommodate other people's culture irrespective of how odd we think it is

Esa forma de preparar los alimento y las bebidas, ya es su cultura creo que no se les deberia de criticar, es más cada quien o cada pais se merece respeto.

Kaumay na nga mga captions ng FB friends ko whenever they shared vids of how Indians prepare their foods, mostly street foods. Maka-bash eh akala mo naman mga sarado mga isip, ackkk. Tapos kainis nga 'yung mga kababayan natin na nire- reenact pa 'yung ginagawa ng mga Indians. Ah, basta. Ang toxic lang ay~ for what? Sa views and possible na kita? Or for the sake of being fame and masabi na "in" sa trends? Ewan ko ba.

Agree 'dun sa part na ang ganda ng county nila and wag ka, daming matatalino jan. Actually, sila nga kalimitan pinapanood sa'men nung mga Profs namin for vids on agricultural studies. Or if di sila, mga Pakistani naman. Gagaling kasi eh~ iba nga lang accent nila. Hehe

Truuu. Sadyang iba lang talaga mga nakasanayan natin pero bashing those other foreign countries na nagkakamay while eating and preparing foods? It's kinda insulting. Pero kapag sa atin to ginawa? For sure na puro cancel here, cancel there na naman.

I have heard of that issues too for like how many days. I've seen a lot of criticizing words thrown by our fellow filipinos and more of them are made to Insult the one in the video. As for me I saw the videos as their way of living and culture I'm thinking that they're used to do that before and doing it into today but you're right that's one of the fastest way to prepare a food

My dear friend, you said great. The culture of any country is very dear and respected, and we should never make fun of another country for some of its things. There is street food in every country that such things may be seen. People of all countries and nationalities are respected.

It's the problem here porket kakaiba sa paningin nila ,tingin nila mali na agad then they making fun of it in unrespectful manners . Yeah, I think that Indians our so aware about that since then but it's actually part of their culture.

I also watched the videos they prepared about really unsanitary kasi hehe. But yeah that's their way of preparing and that is normal to them, some people with weak stomachs really somehow could react. I think its not the Filipino alone, for sure.

I saw that one in TikTok chikakiku. I saw a lot of comments too. Some are laughing which is not good. We shouldn't be judge because it's their way on living. We are not in their life. We should respect one another. We should be more valuable to the others.

I was always and will always be fascinated with Indian culture and traditions. I like the colorful and loud celebrations. The beautiful wedding celebrations. The Taj Mahal that symbolizes eternal love. The great Bollywood movies. I befriended a lot of Indian med students in Davao. Respectful and kind people. They were just one call away when I needed a friend. I even learned to cook real curry dishes. Chicken and egg curry. In exchange, i taught them how to cook chicken adobo. I made it spicy because they like spicy food. I feel embarrassed as a Filipino. If there are Indian readers here, I am sorry. You really don’t deserve that. I am hoping to come across with those videos so I can report it.

Oh I remember the movie, " Three Idiots". There was a part when the mom was preparing food. Indians are aware of their food preparations and they are okay with that. They have no comments and complains. We, Filipinos, are just observers, watchers. We don't really eat their food for daily consumption. So, why mock?

Tayo nga nagkakamay kumakain, masarap naman diba? Hahaha
