Some read.cash tips for new people
If you're using the site on your iPhone, you might have noticed you can't hover over your wallet like you can on a desktop browser to reveal the additional links to get to your articles, affiliates, etc. So to get around that, just double tap on your wallet in Safari and it will reveal those links.
Now that we are able to see how many people have viewed each post, I ran a little experiment yesterday. First, I posted the article and didn't market it anywhere and got only about 5 views. Then I posted a link on memo.cash and saw the views go up another 5 fairly quickly. A couple hours later, I posted a link on Twitter and the views went up by about 10 pretty quickly. Finally, I posted a link on Reddit in r/btc and the next thing I knew, the article had been viewed more than 200 times. If you want people to read your posts, I think Reddit is your best bet.
Take advantage of the affiliate program by using your affiliate link to market your own posts or posts written by other contributors that you liked. This can lead to earning additional BCH for doing very little.
Sponsorships are also a cool way for you to earn extra income. Just add the word sponsors enclosed with [] at the end of an article and it will allow people to sign up to sponsor you so long as you approve them being your sponsor.
If you're like me and often have random ideas for posts, write something and save a draft that you can come back to later. Even if you might not end up publishing some of these drafts, it helps to have an ongoing list of ideas that you can go back to whenever you feel inspired.
That's it for now. Thanks for reading!
