Life of an Unemployed I always believe that everything happens for a reason, and that's what I always think whenever something didn't go in a my way. Life for me isn't as easy I thought it can be. I really thought that passing the board examination will be my stepping stone for me to have a job and be successful in life, but I'm wrong. Thousands of applications, but still, I can't have a job. I was devastated and sad with the thought that for almost 4 months, I am still unemployed and can't do my passion well. That was my thinking everytime someone ask me what I do for living. Honestly, I was so unsure of what my future will be. I can't see where I am going, I'm totally clueless. Come to think of it, I am an Engineer in name but not in action. I am looking for a job where I can be what I wanted to be. I wanted to pursue this passion but I don't know where to start. I am really stuck right now. As of the moment, while I don't have a job yet, I chose to serve in the church. Whenever there is an special occasion, I got to be their keyboardist and get paid for it. This is where I get my daily expenditures. By the time I graduated, I promised my self not to ask anymore money from my parents. That's why, I am very thankful for this talent because I didn't just serve, but also earn a living. There was one instance when my schedule is full. I have to serve 6 holy masses for a day. For every mass, I got to earn $6. After all the 6 masses, I earned $36 and it's really a big help especially that my mother will be celebrating her birthday. I am so happy that I shared financially in her celebration and even got her a gift. You may think that it's very easy to serve in masses, but it's not. You will capitalize your vocals and hands. As I was saying, I am a keyboardist as well as a singer. During those 6 masses, I am to sing and play at the same time. It wasn't easy because exhaustion will hunt you. But the thought of making the mass more alive and more serene, takes my exhaustion away. For this time that I still don't have an official work yet, I serve in the church as well as took care of my niece, my sister's daughter. My sister is a teacher and can't be with her during the days of weekends so I'm the one to take care of her. That's when I realized that it's not easy to be a mother. And I salute every mother out there! <3 Going back to my work life, I submitted my requirements a while ago in a government agency, hoping to pass and finally got the work. But for now, I will hold on to the phrase I've been putting my faith of for a while. If it's for you, it will find a way of coming to you ❤️ For everyone who's struggling right now, let's be patient and wait for our own turns.
When is the right time to take a risk? I remember way back 2018, when I was on my first year in college, we have this organization for pre-professional engineers on our campus. We need to pass the 3 different stages they have in order to join the organization. It was a known organization all over the world, which is basically in-lined with my profession. After all those trainings, there is this one phrase they taught that instilled in me until now - **ALWAYS TAKE THE RISK.** This phrase was the center of all the trainings we had. We are taught to be strong, disciplined, brave, resourceful, and mindful of all the things that comes our way. We are taught more than that. Throughout the training, I was able to show my real self and be able to go out my comfort zone. Taking the risk takes a lot of courage because not everyone of us is capable and brave enough to face everything that comes our way. Some of us are thought that we can get through even without facing it. I'm writing this today because I just recently took the risk of joining this app, HeroMining. I don't have any work and I don't have any money to invest in this app, but I still tried despite the assurance whether it's legit or not. https://heromining.com/pages/login/register?id=1356114 But to know if it's really legit, my sister tried to withdraw $5 as the minimum withdrawable amount, and the money withdrawn entered her GCASH account which basically means that the app is 100% legit. I don't have any thoughts of investing since I wasn't also good at it, but I took the risk and asked my sister to lend me the starting capital, and there the income started. But now, I am earning more than what I expect to have. I will not fully elaborate my journey on HeroMining since I've already published an article regarding this. You can just click here if you want to know more about it. 😇 https://heromining.com/pages/login/register?id=1356114 https://read.cash/@noisytoothie/heromining-is-waiting-for-you-1824067d When will you know it was the right time to take the risk? I think it's when it ***pushes you out of your comfort zone*** and you have the 50-50 assurance that it will help you ***achieve a healthy goal***. Whether it's 50-50 or lower, always think that there is still a chance to hold on. Take the risk because ***there will always be something beautiful in it.*** Even though it's scary to face the unknown, it is way more exciting that being stagnant on your simple life and comfort zone. Take the risk because ***you will definitely learn from it.*** Take the risk ***even though you are afraid of failure***. If we think that certain events will put us in dangerous situations, our consciousness will not allow us to be hurt and will protect ourselves. Take the risk because ***you need to grow and discover life.*** Some of us don't want to explore anymore. We just wanted to stay where we at, live the life we have, and avoid things that will trigger our bodies to move. But life is all about your own ups and downs. We need to grow and discover life so that we can ***live the best out of it.*** I've experienced a lot of times when I took a risk. Even when playing keyboard even though I am not familiar with the song, or even going to a trip alone and don't exactly know where to stop or ride, or even just by volunteering to cook for your visitors. Sometimes we don't exactly feel that we are already taking the risk we don't acknowledge to face. We are simply doing it without us knowing. ❤️

Manila Encounters (Part2) It's been a week since my last article here. I was really so busy with my training and I can't find time to write here. Anyways, for today's article, I am going to write the part 2 of my last article which is Manila Encounters (Part1) https://read.cash/@noisytoothie/manila-encounters-part-1-5def1280 Apparently, I was able to enjoy my stay there the day before we leave because the Bagyong Paeng hit Manila on Saturday. I was able to go out on Sunday and went to the mall with my family. Sunday morning, I told my auntie that I wanted to go to the Church but I don't know where the church is. But, time passes, we eventually forgotten about that and instead, went to the mall and went shopping. We went to what they call "Festival". I don't know but I think this is one of the biggest malls in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. We went there without knowing there's an event for Halloween. There are lots of children wearing their own halloween costumes. The mall was so full on the ground floor, so we decided to stay on the 2nd floor. We went shopping and buying clothes and other stuffs. My cousin also bought a large pizza and other foods as celebration for my oathtaking. We didn't took too much time there since it was really crowded. We just stayed there about 3 hours, then went home. Around 7pm, my relatives prepared a simple celebration which I am really thankful for. I wore my Filipiana once again and took pictures with them. It was an amazing night to remember. We may not have a huge table filled with foods, but we have the love and appreciation in each one of us. The next day, which is Monday, we are scheduled to leave. Our trip is 8pm so, around 6pm, we decided to leave the house. On our way to the terminal, I saw those tall buildings, different establishments, people minding their own businesses, people who's going home, and many more. I have that urge again to go back here and stay for good. I am actually a "province girl", but I also wanted to explore life. My life isn't all about the simplicity of a province life, but I believe that I need to expose myself to other societies for me to grow more. As I looked at those buildings, I told myself that I will be working on one of those buildings someday. But I still want to work first in the province and gain experience because I know that life in the city isn't simple as what I used to live with. I always thought of living on the cities but it's not yet my call to make. I still need to pursue my dreams, get a job, and help my family. I will set aside my personal wants and prepare for the future. My trip in Alabang wasn't as grand as I imagined it to be. But I had a great experience indeed! I won't forget everything that I experienced here and I will treasure it always.

Manila Encounters (Part 1) I don't know where to start but let me tell one thing - ***I feel exhausted in the cities of Manila***. The moment we arrived, until we leave, everything I saw exhausted me. Just by looking makes me dizzy and tired. I can't find the peace I badly wanted, except at home. As I was getting ready for our trip to Manila, I imagined a lot of things - on how I want things to happen, on how I will enjoy every single second I'm there, and many more. I prepared my outfits and stuffs. But it always the **expect the unexpected** scenarios that welcomes me. The trip was smooth and we arrived safe. The tiredness I felt on the trip made me rest a bit more in my bed with the thought of making adventures as soon as I woke up. But all I can see was food on the table waiting for me, and a bed that wants me to come back as soon as I finished eating. I don't have the energy yet. But still decided to go out and explore more. I am not yet even outside the gate but I can already hear the loud horns of the different tricycle trying to get out the way. **NO ONE WANTS TO GIVE WAY!!!** I was so shocked because the province is not like this. The place where I grew up was a quite and peaceful place where all you can hear was the children's voices as they play hide-and-seek, tumbang preso, piko, and other native games I used to play. But what can we expect more? It's **province vs city.** It will always be the province as the quiet and peaceful place, and the city as the noisy and modernized place. I think I will need a lot of time coping with these kind of environment. I specifically stayed at Alabang Muntinlupa where my Aunty lives. That was my first time being there and I was like "culture shocked". I can definitely see how my living is different from theirs. But as I got familiar with the place, I eventually put myself into it. What I love the most there is the presence of the sea. It was just a half kilometer away so we can just walk to go there. It was fun walking since I got some companies. It was right after the Bagyong Paeng when we went there and I got a news that whenever there's a typhoon, milkfish will swarm in the shore or even in the flooded areas then the people will get it and sell in the market for a lower price. It was amazing back there! The sound of waves are so calming that you won't even think a typhoon just passed by.
Oathtaking ❤️ **Another milestone unlocked!!!** I always wonder why taking an oath is so important. I've searched several reasons but this one caught my attention. ***"The oath is an important ceremonial gesture signifying the official start to one's term in office. Importantly, it is a means for the official to make a public commitment to the duties, responsibilities and obligations associated with holding public office."*** Taking an oath is a promise of great service and great responsibility as we stepped onto the professional world. It was the first step we need to take before getting our license. Nevertheless, our oath taking was scheduled last October 28, 2022 at Tent City, Manila Hotel. Since the oathtaking is Friday, we decided to schedule our trip on Wednesday, 6pm so that we can still rest on the 27th. Me and my mother leave at 6pm and arrived at Alabang, Muntinlupa around 4:30 am. After we fixed our things, we decided to take a power nap because the trip is really exhausting. I took a rest the whole day in preparation for the event the next morning. Friday morning, I woke up with my alarm at 6am. We need to leave at 9am because the calling time is 11:30am and the event will start at 1pm. After breakfast, I took a shower and prepare everything we need. What's funny is that, I don't know how to do my make-up since I don't wear make-ups unlike any other girls. Thankfully, my cousin lent me her kits so I was able to do it though I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. After all the preparation, we then leave the house and wait for the grab driver. After a minute, the grab driver arrived. After about one and a half hour, we arrived at our venue. There are already some inductees but I can't see my batchmates. It seemed like I was the first to arrive. HAHAHAHA. But after a couple minutes, 3 of my classmates arrived. After about an hour, my classmate who bought the tickets arrived so we then proceed at the venue hall. It was amazing inside! Having the thoughts of being one of those professional engineers is really a great achievement. I can feel the belongingness among each one of us even though we came from different places all over the Philippines. In our organization, Philippine Society of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers (PSABE), we call our fellow member as "***Bayaw***". Even though we don't know each other, we just call them ***Bayaw*** and they will greet you back warmly. Everything on this event was really unforgettable. I won't forget this once in a lifetime celebration of being a professional. Here are some of our pictures taken during the event. Being one of the inductees is what I am grateful of. I don't know how I made it this far, but all I know is that I am beyond thankful to God and to everyone who supported me on this journey. I have ups and downs, anxiety attacks, and other emotional instances, but I survived every battle I faced. So for everyone who's about to give up, YOU CAN DO IT. Believe that you can, manifest what you want, work hard, and ask for His guidance because in Him, nothing is impossible. Padayon Engineers! `ENGR CHYRISH ANN R. LADIA` `Agricultural and Biosystems Engineer` At your service.

Happy Birthday, Engr. Noisytoothie ❤️ Hi everyone! October 2 is my day! and I wanted to share with y'all how I spent every single second of this special day. Birthday is one of the most awaited event in a person's life. Some may have not celebrated it, but most of us even prepare ahead of time to commemorate this special day. It is a day to sit, watch, and relax. Hahahah charots. I woke up at exactly 5:00 am 'coz obviously, my alarm woke me up. I spent about 10 minutes on my phone before I finally decided to get out of the bed. I prepared my breakfast, took a bath, prepared myself, then waited for my partner to pick me up. We leave our house at 6am. While we are on our way, the motorcycle run out of gas. We tried to reach the gasoline station which is about 1km away. Thankfully, at a very early time, the station was finally opened. So, in God's help, we arrived at the church before the holy mass started. My choirmates greeted me when we arrived at the church. Some hug me, some shook hands with me, and some extended their warmest smiles. I attended three holy mass because there are no more available pianist. On the third mass, I accompanied the Saint Benedict's Academy (SBA) choir. SBA was a school headed by nuns. Unexpectedly, one of the nuns gave me a gift ❤️ After the third mass, I waited for my partner. I don't know why but every year, whenever it's my birthday, it is always raining. I know it's a blessing and I don't have to worry about it anymore. My partner came but we can't leave because of the heavy rain. After minutes of waiting, the rain stopped and we proceed to leave. We went to market first because we still need to buy some of the ingredients needed for my birthday. Thank God that the rain did not pour heavily during our way home. When we finally reached our home, we took a quick rest then proceed on preparing. My boyfriend, prepared my backdrop and overall design. This is what I admired about him. He is willing to do everything just make my birthday extra special. I don't demand for a huge or big surprise, all I want is to be with him on this special day. 😘 To make everything short, we prepared everything. Around 4pm, we took pictures with my visitors. My "handa" is not so grand, but I am so thankful for the gift of financial that we are able to have these bounty feast to share with. My birthday wasn't as fabulous as other birthdays but I still wanted to thank God for everything. For the past 23 years of my life, for all the blessings He has given unto me. Especially this one great favor I asked Him - to let me have that prefix on my name - to be an engineer. This is the greatest gift I could have ever received. I would be forever grateful to Him. Of all the 23 years of my existence, I face different challenges in life, but I choose not to give up because I always put in my mind that *everything happens for a reason*, that everything has ends. It may not be a short endeavor, it may took you long, but always remember that whatever comes your way, it will always teach you a lesson. Always be grateful whether you receive problems or blessings. ❤️

Adulting When you heard about adulting, what comes into your mind? ***Job? Responsibilities? Bills? Credit cards?*** or what? They say that adulting starts after your college graduation or after you decided to be independent and live your own life. For instance, you wanted to find job and make yourself financially stable. Or some prepares for their insurance, benefits, or even take loans as starting capitals. Adulting is assuming that you have an adult responsibility that you need to take care of. It is the mindset you have after accomplishing your studies or after getting your license. At first, you might think it's easy, but it's kinda complicated. Adulting is when you started to apply for some valid ID's, look for stable job, prioritizing your family more than your own needs, engaging yourself to a more real world, starting to be serious in life, and no more plays or travels. It is when you took responsibility of everything. Why do I came up with this topic "Adulting"? Actually, after graduation and after passing board examination, I have nowhere to go. I mean, I don't know what to do next. I though it would be easy but it's not. Now, we are planning to apply for TIN ID card, Postal ID Card, Landbank, and etc, which is definitely far from what I imagined. Now, I am officially unemployed waiting for the right time to find job and sustain my family. Maybe this is what adulting really is - when you are no longer thinking about yourself, but also for the people around you. It is when you set your priorities at the highest level. It is when you set your goal of being a successful person in the future. It is when you started to look for bigger things and do not pay attention to small endeavors. Life is really unpredictable. When you think you finally on the last step of success, there you will fail and when you think about failing, there you rises up. That's why right now, up until my birthday, I will just relax myself and think of nothing else. I wanted to enjoy my life before I enter this so-called ADULTING.
Congratulations to the newly registered AB Engineers! September 20, 2022 marks the day that newly registered AB Engineers were announced. Exactly 6:15 pm, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the official list of the 2022 Agricultural and Biosystems Engineer Licensure Examination passers. Out of **1968** takes, only **832** we able to pass. Source https://web.facebook.com/search/top/?q=Agricultural%20and%20Biosystems%20Engineering What exactly is **AGRICULTURAL AND BIOSYSTEMS ENGINEERING** course? Actually, I wasn't aware of what Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (ABE) is. All I know is that my house is near on the college where ABE is offered, and that, it is *engineering.* My dream is to be an engineer, and before, it doesn't matter whether what type of engineering I will enroll to. But out of curiosity, I've decided to look for more info about it. *The Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering program is designed to produce graduates who possess knowledge, skills, and attitudes in the application of* ***engineering science and designs to the processes and systems involved in the sustainable production, post-production, and processing of safe food, feed, fiber, timber, and other agricultural and biological materials****;* ***the efficient utilization of, conservation, and management of natural and renewable resources; and development of climate change mitigation measures to enhance human health in harmony with the environment.*** *Agricultural and Biosystems (AB) consist of* ***crops, poultry, livestock, fisheries and aquaculture resources, forestry and other plants, new and renewable energy, wastes, natural resources, and climate.*** *The graduates of BSABE are expected to understand and apply engineering science and designs to identify, analyze, and create solutions for problems* ***concerning land development; irrigation, and drainage including dams, farm roads and bridges;*** ***AB production machinery; new and renewable energy; AB buildings and structures; postharvest and processing technologies; climate change, and natural resources, environmental and waste management.*** Source https://www.dmmmsu.edu.ph/bs-agricultural-and-biosystems-engineering/#:~:text=The%20Bachelor%20of%20Science%20in,and%20processing%20of%20safe%20food Some says that our course is the application of all engineering course because during our schooling, we have practiced different fields. For example, we are exposed to electrical concepts, or either in mechanical, in environmental mitigations, machineries, farm structures, etc. But it was just all introduction and practices. Our main focus is the agricultural sector where we are trained to create a sustainable agriculture by creating and inventing machines that would be of great help to our farmers. And now, as registered Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers, we are expected to create more innovative methods that would help to sustain agriculture until the next hundreds of generations. You can also be an AB Engineer and help our country!!! Be one of us! Be #ABEmazing 💪

Blessing in Disguise As I was saying on my last article, my next article would be about the result of our board examination. But please know that this article is not on my schedule and that I just wanted to write what I am feeling right now. Few hours from now, the result will come out and I really don't know what to say or what to react or what to do. I am in the middle of nowhere. You know the feeling when you wanted to be afraid over the result but then something speaks to you silently saying "you don't need to worry anymore"? I was in that kind of situation right now. I can't express my emotions properly that I just wanted to sleep, watch videos, read books, or play with my phone, or even stared at the laptop screen waiting for the result to come out. Right now, I am imagining things. Like if I really passed this examination, I would be so happy that I might shout out of joy! And I will really thank God and will visit His home as soon as possible! This is the biggest favor I could have ask to Him and I am praying that He will grant me this one. I believe in Him because I have witnessed all His works and blessings to me. I don't regret or have any doubts. Honestly, I'm not confident about myself passing the exam 'cause I know what my capabilities are, but I know that God is always in control and I know that if this is in His will, it will definitely happen. I am now preparing myself on whatever the result will be. I honestly don't know how to accept it if I didn't pass, but I know that God will guide me. That's why, whether the result is in favor or not, I know I have a better place to go. Maybe it won't be what my plans are, but His. Writing today, I somehow released my frustrations. Talking about it made me feel nervous but at the same time, excited and light-hearted. It feels like a burden has lifted upon me. Right now, I am just praying for what is best. I know that everything happens for a reason and that, each one of us has already our own story written by God's own hands. ❤️
I will be an Engineer! <3 (Part 2) Earlier this morning, I shared with you the part 1 of this article. So if you want to read it, just click this link. <3 https://read.cash/@noisytoothie/i-will-be-an-engineer-e33ac274 As I was saying in the part 1, we finally finished taking our board examination last Thursday and Friday. It wasn't easy as I expect it to be. We are all challenged, exhausted, and doubtful. Fast forward, we are now currently waiting for the result. Based on the official PRC page, the results will be processed within 2 working days, excluding weekdays. So possibly, tomorrow will be D-DAY, and right now, I don't know what to feel anymore. If I should be calm enough, panic, or what. Just like any other heart-exploding events on our life, we also did some rituals or beliefs in the intercession of the Lord. Me and my co-board exam takers sacrificed and allotted time to be a devotee. Starting September 6, 2022, exactly 10 days before our exam, we offer a daily novena inside the church. We are reciting the novena prayer 6 times for 9 consecutive days. We attended holy mass offering miracle works especially St. Jude Thaddeus, the patron of hopeless cases, just like what we are praying for. We went on St. Jude Parish for 5 consecutive Thursday just to offer prayer and seek for help. It was so refreshing after every session with him. I feel like a burden has been lifted upon me. Everytime I offer prayer, my prayer goes like this. Lord, please send Your holy spirit to guide us during our examination. Please give us the knowledge and wisdom that we need to be able to pass this board examination. Help us when we are in doubt. Remove all our anxieties and stress when we are answering. And if the result won't favor us, please help us and give us courage to accept whatever the result is. My prayer is as simple as this but I can feel that God is really listening to me. I remembered my co-churchmate saying that when you are praying and you got goosebumps, the holy spirit is with you. And I felt that every time I came to church and pray. There wasn't any single day it didn't happen. That's why I always feel blessed and confident. But right now, I can really feel the anxiety. I know that God won't made me suffer. I know that He will only give me what I need and take me away from things that will harm me. I trusted Him so much but sometimes, I tend to forgot about that, which I'm really sorry for. Tomorrow or on Wednesday, the result will probably come out. Oh myyy, just thinking about it makes my heart pound so fast!!!! I am still praying for a positive result. I know that God won't give us something if we can't handle it well. Right now, prayer is the most effective medicine for whatever emotion I have right now. For the continuation of this article, I will post it on the results day which is probably tomorrow or Wednesday! Gracias! I will definitely change this closing GIF if I passed the examination!!! ❤️❤️ PADAYON FUTURE ENGINEERS!!!!

I will be an Engineer! ❤️ They usually say that finishing your college degree is one of the most fulfilling feelings ever. Like you have already finished studying and is about to enter the "real world". But all that belief suddenly changed when my feet finally stepped on that page. Starting June 'til September, I was occupied by reviewers, lectures, formula, problem solving, calculators, pencils, etc. That became my daily routine mats. I adjusted my routine for almost 2 weeks until I can finally settle with my peace of mind. It was never or over! This preparation is once in a lifetime opportunity for people like me who wanted to give the best to my family. I wasn't actually ready, and I will never be. If there is a concrete and best definition that will describe what I feel right now, share it with me. Just 4 days ago, Thursday, we took the Philippine Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Board Examination. It was a 2-day examination composed of 3 areas. This is the most awaited days of our life where we are judged whether to be an engineer or not. It was a wholesome experience, especially meeting your co-courses from different school. Actually, I always thought that it wouldn't be easy, I always expect it to be for me to be not-so shocked after I get there. About 4:30 am on Thursday, we leave our boarding house and headed to the examination area. It was almost a 45-minute ride. We were instructed to be there before 6:30am so we leave as early as we could to also avoid traffic or any unannounced circumstances. We arrived there past 5am and it was still dark when we got there. We waited there until 6:30am. After, they guided us to the rooms where we are going to take the examination. Only 16 students were allowed inside a room. Tables were arranged perfectly and it was a conducive room to take an exam. After a few minutes, the proctor arrived and instructed us about the guidelines of the examination. Before 8am, we started answering the questions. It was going smoothly, even though, I really met difficulties all the way. Some of the problems were unfamiliar to me. I wasn't even sure if I was correct. We are allowed to take snacks while answering provided that we have our own snacks because we are not allowed to leave the room unless it's an emergency. The exam must be finished before 2pm, and thankfully, around 1pm, I managed to finish the examination, which is really draining, exhausting, and mindblowing. After finishing the examination, we went to a mall to eat lunch. After eating lunch, me and my other classmate visited the Church of St Jude, the Saint to be known for miracle works. We attended the holy mass and went home about 5pm. It was really a tiring day, but we still got another day so there's no time to relax. On the second day, Friday, we leave around 5:30 because we don't want to wait for more longer hours just like the first day. We arrived at the area past 6. Same routine - we went to our respective rooms and took the exam. For the second day, we are to take 2 examinations composed of 100 items each. We finished around 4:30 pm in the afternoon. We are so disappointed on how the exam went because it was really difficult and hard to answer. Thankfully, the last exam went very well. After the examination, we went to the mall to have our dinner. After dinner, we then went home and take a rest. I will finish my article here. I will post the part 2, so just wait for it.!
Things I want to experience, again. They say that past defines what and where we are right now. Because of the past, we became who we are in the present. But, if you are given the chance to go back to the past, will you go? Without any doubt, I will answer **yes.** I don't know but there is something in my childhood that I really wanted to experience again. There are times when I wanted to cry upon hearing songs from my childhood that reminds me of the life I had before. **Childhood memories ❤** Source https://www.google.com/search?q=childhood+memories+quotes&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjS_o64v7nzAhXRAN4KHRcDAHYQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1536&bih=722&dpr=1.25#imgrc=sCVVhQxiEiX65M *Sometimes, I wish to have a time machine to go back in my childhood and capture all my memories...* Maybe not only "sometimes", but always. I remembered my childhood days so clearly and brightly. I will wake up early in the morning, around 5:30 am. Instead of getting off the bed, I will first murmur, yawn several times, sing, or even play with my toys beside me. Then, my mother will fetch me to have breakfast. Milk is ready, fried rice, egg and hotdogs are already prepared, and all I need to do is eat. After breakfast, I will take a bath, brush my teeth, wear my uniform, wear my shoes, and my mother will fix my hair for me, then I am now set to school. I remembered that I was always in a hurry to go to school because I'm a Supreme Pupil's Government's president and I need to help with the flag ceremony. I am also an active girl scout that time so I always help in raising the flag. *Aggggh these memories...* When the classes start, I will wait for the recess to come. A 15-minute break that is full of memories, everyday. After break, classes again then lunch. Sometimes, my mother will pack my lunch especially when no one is in the house, but mostly, I will go home to eat lunch. What I don't want in going home is that, after lunch, my mother will *"kukutuan ako"* , you know, hahaha, the process of removing lice. My mother will consume at least 30 minutes doing that, and here I am, crying all over HAHAHAHAHA I'm crying because, lunch break is the best time to play with my classmates. 😁 I will leave the house 5 minutes before 1pm. Then I will arrive at school, exactly the time when the bell will ring. So saaaad, but still, I misses those. After class in the afternoon, I will hurriedly go home to play with my friends. May it be with marbles, rubber bands, hula hoops, money games, cans, slippers, or any other outdoor games. What I love before is that, **children don't have cellphones with them** - meaning, everyone will exhaust themselves playing outside. In the evening, especially if it's brownout, we will play hide and seek, *tambay* outside, play patintero, sungka, or any other games. And if there is electricity, we will altogether watch the teleseryes and pelikulas on TV. I even remembered that every dinner, everyone in the family must be on the table. We should eat altogether, which has eventually changed today. 😞 I read a quotation before saying that, childhood memories are not only found in our minds, but with the smell of clothes, pictures, buddies, and songs. Lately, I've been attacked by this song that instantly reminds me of my past. The song entitled **"Kanlungan"** by Noel Cabangon. *"Lumilipas ang panahon* *Kabiyak ng ating gunita* *Ang mga puno't halaman* *Bakit kailangang lumisan?* *Pana-panahon ng pagkakataon* *Maibabalik ba ang kahapon?"* That song was all over my fyp on tiktok - having videos or reenactment of the childhood days before... Why do things need to leave? Why do we need to move on? Can't we just stay the way we are? I just want to be a child again - a child crying over toys, wounds, or lectures from parents... How I wish... Can we really go back to what we are before? I miss my friends, I miss my daily routines, I miss everything...

Independency is not easy Growing up, I wanted to do a lot of things. I wanted to do the things I saw, I wanted to visit places, I wanted new experiences. Thinking about this, only one thing came up to my mind – I need my own independent life. Going through college, I experienced being independent as I don’t have that much dependency when it comes in my social life. I learned to do things I thought I can’t and it’s kind of amazing to accomplish it. This kind of independency is what I call ***semi-independency*** as I still need to depend on my family when it comes to my decision-making and in terms of financial support. After graduating college, I decided to live apart from my family as I need to concentrate on the upcoming board exam. I started last June and it’s my second month this July. The first days were easy, but I didn’t realize how hard it could be. Living apart from the people you used to be with is just like going outside your comfort zone. You think you can, but you can’t. It’s tolerable at the beginning but once you realize how far you are from them, you can’t. I have this schedule wherein I allotted Sunday as my rest day and family day that’s why I go home every Sunday. However, there are times when I need to go home because of some important occasions to celebrate. But moreover, I told myself not to go home unless it’s important and needed. The thought of being independent is easy compared when you are already at it. I remember the days I wanted to live apart from my family, but now, I’m slowly regretting and realizing that not everything is great just like I thought it would be. I have this one night when I can no longer hold myself. I really had a breakdown, and the rooftop knows about it. I cried a lot, without anyone knowing. It was may safe place. I found peace and quietness there, together with Mayon. She had witnessed everything. What independency feels like? It feels like you are **both the mother and the father** of your own self. You got to decide on your own and live a life you always wanted. It feels like you **grew your own wings** which you can use to fly and discover things. It can also **boost your self-esteem** as you will no longer depend on others – basically just living and doing what you wanted to do. However, being independent can also make you feel **depressed, anxious, and afraid** especially when you are used in having companion and buddy all through your life. You got to learn things on your own. But life is this. No matter how hard we try retaining things the way they are, change won’t allow you. Wherever you hide, it will come to you. You can’t avoid it, but you can deal with it. As they say, change is the only thing that is constant. We can never do about it, but you can write your own story.
Realization after Graduation **OFFICIALLY UNEMPLOYED** The felling of finally graduating is one of the best feeling ever. But will that feeling last longer? 3 days ago, I finally graduated with my dream course. It was one of the most special events for me and I won't forget anything about it. The feeling of finally finishing school is my dream and my family's dream too. It been 3 days and I feel like I've became free from everything. I'm still not used to getting out of bed without worrying acads and other school-related activities. So, this is the feeling of being ***officially unemployed.*** After the graduation, we celebrated at our house. Around 11pm, the celebration ended and we settle ourselves to finally rest after the long day. While lying on my bed, thoughts suddenly came up to me. ***"What will I do now?", "What will be my next step?"***. Maybe for women who just gave birth, what I'm feeling right now is called ***postpartum depression*** or that anxieties and change of moods we feel. I started to think about tomorrow which I never did when I was schooling. I am now in the reality of life. I don't have time to waste anymore. Everything I do will affect my future. It will be up to me now whether I will succeed or not. I'm getting anxious because I don't want to be like my oldest brother who don't have a work right now and just staying at home. I don't want to be treated like a burden. I don't want to see myself prisoned in our home just because I didn't do everything I can. I was really afraid - afraid of being independent in the future since I was really dependent on my family. Today is my 3rd day of being unemployed. Actually, last June, I started living in a boarding house for me to focus on my review. I was with my 3 classmates who's also reviewing. Our board exam will be on September 15-16, 2022. It becoming nearer and nearer. However, this review season ease my anxieties as I focus myself on becoming an engineer. Personally, I don't want to work first because I wanted to get a license first. I wanted to become a professional before I finally work. After these realizations, I decided not to worry about the future. Instead, worry first about the board exam, and then worry everything after it's done. I don't want to make these anxieties hinder me in reaching my goals. I actually can't focus right now, but I'm going through it. I wanted to become the person I wanted to be. I don't want to have regrets. I just wanted to be successful using my own talents and capabilities. To those who has just graduated like me, let's start focusing on our goals. This is my lesson-learned. Don't waste our time on problems that hasn't been a problem yet. Focus on the present, and worry about yourself.

Bicol University Best Undergraduate Thesis (BUBUT) Experience ❤️ Bicol University (BU) is one of the most prestigious universities in the Bicol Region. It's not easy to be enrolled here. There are some requirements needed as well as entrance examinations. Some are quite lucky to enter, some didn't. Some of those few students who has given the opportunity to be a student of BU include me. I wasn't expecting anything after the entrance exam I took when I was on my Senior High years. Actually, I did not study at all. I wasn't mentally prepared for the exam. I just took it, and leave it be. To my surprise, I was on the top 14 on my first choice course, **Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (BSABE).** I didn't expect it at all since I was not ready and I didn't give my all. Entering BU was one of my great achievements in my academic life. Every since I was in my first years in college, the moment I heard about this **Bicol University Best Undergraduate Thesis (BUBUT),** I told myself that someday, I will be a participant on the event. I'm aware that those who have the best thesis study are given the chance to participate so I told myself that I will get ready for this. On our 3rd year in college, we are told to think and visualize any possible thesis titles and topics. I thought that we are just going to invent machines, but it's not as easy as it is. You really need to widen your scope because as modernization rises, mechanization also increased its development, making it harder and harder to develop possible machines. But because of the sudden surge of COVID-19, the higher years was not able to finish their study because of the lockdown. So, instead of thinking another machines, the department decided to just let us modify the machines so that it can be of use someday, instead of leaving it there and become rusty. And that's how we choose our study "Performance Evaluation of the BUCAF Multi-Commodity Washer and Dryer with Water Filtration System". After several trials, fabrications, modification and evaluation, we have finally defended our thesis, and produced 3 copies of hardbound thesis. Then one time, our professor announced to us that we are one of the participants in the upcoming BUBUT, which really made me extremely happy and excited. This is my dream, I am walking towards it right now. I was really at the peak of happiness so I really did my best just to be prepared and ready for it. The time for BUBUT has come. Before the day, I was really trying so hard to familiarize every single slide on our presentation because I was chosen to represent our study, which is a pleasure and pressure to me. I was not good at talking in front of every one, but they trusted me on this so I have nothing to worry about. During the start of my presentation, I stutter a little. But after seconds of talking, I found the confidence that's been hiding on me for a very long time. I was able to deliver our presentation peacefully. And we also answered every single queries from the panels. One of the panels said that we are really good. And that made my heart skip a beat! The awarding came and my heart beat really fast. I honestly expect that we will win since I have saw the performances of our co-participants. We really have an edge. Then finally, when the emcee announced the winner, we jumped out of joy and excitement! WE DID IT! WE WON THE BEST PAPER AWARD!!! We finally did it. IT WAS REALLY A DREAM COME TRUE! Chadaaaan!!! Congrats Washer-Dryer Team! All our hardwork has finally paid off. Cheers to more opportunities! 🥰

Congrats, BATCH 2022! ❤️ Graduating batch of 2022 received the most challenging academic school years. Starting from the implementation of K-12 Program, the COVID-19, online class, and the limited face-to-face classes, and now, graduation. We are known to be the first batch of K-12 Program and said to be the "EXPERIMENTAL BATCH". During our terms, many programs have been implemented and we are the pioneer of these programs - which basically means that we are in their trial-and-error analysis. Whether it will be a success or not, will depend on us. Because of these, we tend to be confused whether we are doing it right or not. The fact that we are in their experiments, we received unfavorable decisions and situations. We don't have enough equipment or instruments to be used. Most especially, they are having HIGH EXPECTATIONS on us. That the fact that we have undergone Senior High School, we are capable of succeeding college in an instant. But that's wrong. Instead of coping up with college, we are more challenged since we entered college having different strands during SHS years. Some of us are not inclined on the tracks they have taken. Because of this, total adjustments are done. But despite all of these events, we are now here. We are now going to receive our diplomas, FINALLY!!! To all my fellow graduating students, I am so proud of us. I am so amazed how we handle every single moment of our college life. I know it was not easy and will never be easy especially that pandemic hit us. Struggles, depressions, stress and anxieties visited us without any invitation! It was so tough. But we don't have a choice but to keep on pushing forward because this is our dream - a dream worth million of smiles. And to myself, I am so proud of you for doing your best! I know you all your breakdowns, cries, and dull moments, but you did it! You succeeded in your academics. No one knows how hard you tried, how much you cried because of anxieties and depressions. Expectations are all around you. The pressure was too much, but YOU DID IT!!! And after all, you deserve to receive an award and gift. Don't forget to treat yourself. YOU DESERVE IT.

Can I really do this? I was really pressured and everything. Our college has finally released a list of graduating students and the official list of Latin Honors, and I’m one of them. I received an award for being a CUM LAUDE for this year’s graduation. (this will be another story to tell) I was really happy because I know that everything I worked for is now paid off. I was able to lift a burden after knowing this announcement. On the other hand, I was really pressured – pressured that I may not exercise well this opportunity. I am currently living in a boarding house together with my 3 classmates. We are in preparation for the upcoming board exam. Actually, we arrived here on the first week of June and its already July. It’s another month again but I can’t seem to focus myself on the pressure of this review. I wasn’t able to grasp any information I am trying to instill on my mind. I really don’t know what to do. I tried everything I can but it can only brought me a temporary peace of mind. I don’t know if I am still doing the right thing, but I think I am just forced. On our review today, our instructor told us this advice – Don’t take reviews just because you don’t want to fail, review so that you can pass. And that made sense to me. All this time, I was trying to review notes because I don’t want to fail and be a disappointment. I don’t want to put pressure on myself more. I just wanted to be a normal student preparing for the board exam. Everything around me is stressing. May it be my daily routine, my daily life, or even people around me. There is also this professor of ours who keeps on telling us not to post anything on social media about our awards and everything because people might get disappoint if we don’t pass the exam – which is very WRONG. His jokes are also not good. He is a professional, but it seems that we are more than him. I mean, isn’t it so great to share something that is remarkable to you on you OWN social media? Who are him to stop us? Who are him to stop our parents to be proud to us? Even those parents who post are being criticized by him. I don’t even know how he got that license of him. I was disappointed and mad at him. He don’t have the right to tell us what to do or not. By thinking all of these, I started to burst into tears. I am here at the rooftop, writing this article because I feel like I will burst any time if I don’t share this to anyone because honestly, I don’t have the courage to tell this to my friends and family. I don’t want to make myself a stressor to them. I know they are all rooting for me and I know that they are all expecting, and that makes me pressured more. There was this one time when I told my sister not to pressure herself just because she don’t have an award now. She was a consistent honor student but because of pandemic, her passion to learn decrease but when the face to face classes started, I can see that she is starting to enjoy learning again. Going back, I told her to not stress herself over the expectations to her. She was just a 14-year-old girl who should be enjoying life today. I can feel her, and I think we are on the same boat. I don’t want her to experience what I am experiencing right now. It was so hard and difficult. I wanted to cry out loud, but I can’t. I am currently fighting these silent battles of mine. I know that these are part of the process, and I should not worry. To those who are in the same boat as me, cry as much as you want. Never let them decide for yourself. Its your life not theirs. If you don’t have the courage, or you feel like breaking down, cry. It will ease your feelings just like what I am doing right now. And another advice is that, if you don’t have anyone to share your story, write it out and pour everything on it. It feels like a thorn getting out from your throat. You don’t need to share everything to someone because not everyone is worth your trust. KNOW YOU COMPANY.
Finally Graduating!!! (PART 1) I really miss being here in read.cash! 😁Thankfully, @TheRandomRewarder still knows me and appreciated my current post. As promised, here is the second part of my recent post entitled "Am I still welcome here?" https://read.cash/@noisytoothie/am-i-still-welcome-here-993504b8 How's everyone? I've been meaning to upload yesterday but my backlogs won't me. I just had the time today, since I just finished the reviewer assigned to me. Going back to my previous topic, which is about our thesis, I really have a lot to rant and a lot to share with you guys. This is not just about the process, but also for those people who are involved. So, after our final thesis defense, me and thesismates decided to make adjustments in our papers since the panelists have something they recommended during the defense and we are obliged to include it in our hardbound manuscript. We still have 2 weeks to prepare for the final manuscript so we expend every single day revising and editing our papers. Technically, I was the one who is finalizing the papers, I mean, I am the one who is editing the final papers. All I need to do is asked my thesismates the necessary adjustments to be done. We even need to do our papers overnight in my thesis mate's boarding house, which was way more convenient since we are together in doing our thesis. Everything is in control except for my one thesismate who is, somehow, gets into my nerves. I know every group have this member who is not a "helping hand" that much, though she is willing to help. But, what we noticed that she always complain about the things assigned to her. Like, "my laptop is not functioning well", "I have no internet connection" (but then she always video calls her bf). Reasons like that that make me so mad at her. But I won't show it in front of her 'coz I'm not that kind of person who is prank who can say anything I wanted to say. We are 3 in the group and my other groupmate also noticed that thing about her. To my surprise, he has also some rants about her. We just decided to keep quiet unless our patience went out. Fortunately, we are able to survive those dying times of our lives 'coz our graduation certificate depends on our final manuscript. No manuscript, no graduation. When we finally finalized our manuscript, we then bring it to a book binding shop and been told to return after 3 days. It's Sunday I volunteered to get the manuscript since my 2 thesismates went to their homes. Since I was the one who is near, I went and get it. I was really mad that time, because the book binding shop told us to get the manuscript by 4pm. We arrived at 4pm, and were told to return the next day because it was not yet ready!!! I've travel almost 1 hr just to get there, and will just return the next day???? I was really mad that time. But I didn't dare to say anything to them 'coz I can't. I woke up at 5am the next day and get myself ready. Thankfully, my boyfriend accompanied me in going there. Thankfully, he has a motorcycle so it won't be a hassle to commute. We arrived there at 6:30am and went back immediately at school because the deadline of manuscript is as 8am. Thankfully, we came just in time. I am really thankful!!! And YES!!! We survived!!!! At last! 😇 Thank you G! and to everyone who helped in making our thesis a success. May God bless us all! 🥰 Wait for my next post!! It's our graduation pictorial! OMGGGGG FINALLYYYY!!!

Am I still welcome here? Hi everyone! It's been 3 months since I last posted here in read.cash. Time flew so fast! Indeed! I've been wondering if I am still welcome here? ahahha or nah? I think March 1, 2022 is my last update here, so it's really great to be back.! During the past months, I've been focusing on my studies. Actually, I've a lot to share with you all. Those happy moments, dull moments, breakdown moments, and etc. I think I will start with the thing that kept me busy for the past 3 months - **THESIS.** Thesis might be one of the nightmares of students when it comes in academics. Thinking, "why would I exert so much effort in just a unit subject?", or "Is this really worth the time and effort?". Those questions also came into my mind. But, doing thesis isn't all about works and computations, it also teaches us many things we didn't thought we don't know. While doing thesis, I realized that I can be more of what I'm capable of doing. Though, during those time, I experienced different emotions that I didn't expect to feel. March 3, 2022 when we started to test our machine which is a Multi-Commodity Washer and Dryer. When we say "multi-commodity", it means that we can use this machine to wash and dry different crops. In our study, we use ginger, sweet potato, and taro as test materials. What delays our testing is the resources needed to conduct the test. It's hard to look for a supplier of these crops knowing that we need almost 50 kilos per crop. Thankfully, we've found different suppliers who have helped us in our testing and we are beyond thankful to them. Testing don't just come with feeding crops in the machine, but also comes with physical characterization of each crop. In the characterization, we characterized them by different parameters, which includes angle of friction, angle of repose, bulk density, its dimensions, and its moisture content. The time-consuming of all is the moisture content determination. In this parameter, we will place 5 pieces of crops inside an oven with a certain temperature, and then wait for an hour to weigh it again. The process will only stop when the 5 crops weigh the same for 3 trials. We need to do this for the 3 commodities that's why it took us almost one and a half month to finish testing. I remember, we are testing in the middle of the night because the supplier delivered the commodities around 10pm. Thankfully, we are still at school and we are still awake. It was really hard throughout the testing, but it's all worth it at the end. After all the hard works, the panels will now judge whether our thesis is worth it or not. This is what we call **DEFENSE PROPOSAL.** We had our final defense last April 27, 2022 and thankful that we had finally defended our thesis. And all that matters is the revising and hardbounding of our manuscript, which is another story to tell 'coz I had a lot of rants and chika's there hahaha. This is all for now. With regards to the revising and hardbound, it's another story to tell! I'm really glad I came back here. I feel like, I'm carrying a burden I don't know how to carry. This site is really my other world!

[POV] Another Guy After nearly two months of not being in a relationship, I've been thinking about how to deal with other people who express interest in me. I'm avoiding them to avoid conflicts because I'm still broken on the inside and know that if I entertain them, I'll end up miserable again. Now I'm slowly attempting to mend myself, but by this point I know there's no turning back. For the first month, I mentioned in one of my articles about a certain guy who randomly messaged me through a messaging app where you can see the common group or channel we both belong to. I won't go into detail, but we had a common denominator in that we're both fourth-year engineering students who are currently participating in a play to earn game. I was hesitant to respond at first because I still had the notion that I should talk to my ex boyfriend first before entertaining new people in my life, and the fact that I didn't know this person urged me not to respond the same day he chatted. But I did respond the next day. But, sadly, he ghosted me after a brief conversation. It wasn't a big deal, but I get the impression that he's a good friend, and I want to be friends with him. Maybe we weren't meant to be that close, so fate decided to put an end to it. Another man arrived, but I was the one who first contacted him. Don't think about I was the one who started a flirtatious conversation. It was on purpose, as I was looking for someone to coach me for the game I'm playing, and they suggested I contact this person, which I did. Of course, we talked about games, but I'm not sure if it's just me or my instincts, because I don't want to go any further. By the way, he's from Sorsogon once more. I could tell he was making a move towards me as we continued to talk. At first, I had no ill will toward it. I began to ghost him after he made his next move. On his third attempt, I made it clear that I am not interested in flirting and decided to end our conversation. These two gentlemen demonstrate to me that I should prioritize myself at this time. No more entertainment; instead, I'm focusing on myself and embracing the peace and harmony of being single and free of toxic relationships. Now that I'm in my second month of being single, I'm starting to enjoy the idea of being alone. I'm not sure, but locking myself in a room and doing something that will improve me and make me feel better is kind of fun. PS. These two guys, along with my ex-boyfriend, are currently residing in the same neighborhood, and I have no idea how I ended up conversing with these people beginning with the letter J.
A story of Inspiration As a music lover person, I love watching videos about music especially in dancing and singing covers or singing performance on shows or competition. While browsing videos on youtube, I suddenly stumble on this video of a girl who joined the America's Got Talent and got a golden buzzer from Simon Cowell. It was posted 1 day ago and it already reached millions of views, so I got curious. I watched the 7-minute video and it literally give me goosebumps. It was a story about a young lady named **Jane Marczewski,** also known as ***Nightbirde*** who has been battling cancer for 4 years. During her interview before her performance, she revealed that she had "some cancer" in her lungs, spine and liver. She also shared that she only have 2% of living, and that 2% is 2%, it's not a 0%. She was asked if she is okay, and this is her reply. `Well, Not in every way, no. It's important that everyone knows I'm so much more than the bad things that happened to me.` Source: Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZJvBfoHDk0&t=315s After the interview, she sang her own song entitled "It's okay". This song is about her journey for the last year of her life. These lines from the song captured my interest. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6UzrJrkpwQ `It's okay, it's okay, it's okay, it's okay` `If you're lost, we're all a little lost and it's alright` After her performance, Simon Cowell describe it as "absolutely stunning" and then give her the golden buzzer. But after a month of her performance, she announced that she wouldn't be able to move on to the live show due to her health. Since then, her fans followed her journey through her social media accounts. February 19, 2022, at the age of 31, Nightbirde bid her last farewell. But before her last breath, she made her farewell video which touched the hearts of her fans as well as the AGT family. Another line from her that I will never forgot is `You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore, before you decide to be happy.` Sometimes, in our life, we tend to be so dramatic over little things that happened to us. We carry all the burdens and suffer. I know that everyone of us is unsurprisingly experiences different kinds of situation but have we ever thought of just giving up? or we live our life like there's no tomorrow? Being happy should not be a decision to be made, it should naturally comes within us. I believe that the most easiest emotion we can ever exercise is happiness. Despite the times that we are lost, it's okay, it's alright because everything will be healed. The story of Nighbirde tells us that even in the most difficult endeavor, we should always be happy. Imagine, having these deadly cells in our body that tells you you're death, but Nightbirde still managed to inspire us and make us happy, so ***who are we to complain about unpaid taxes, debts, or such things?*** I believe that it is our perceptions that makes us different from one another, but we can influence them just like what Nightbirde did. She never expected that her story will shake the hearts of netizens, but as a result, it inspired everybody. Sometimes, you have these endeavors to teach you a lesson and to let you teach others their lessons. It's always a two or more way around. Never settle on a single page belief because a every page of a book holds a meaningful meaning and mission. How about you? What makes you inspired?

Different Sources of Water It is said the humans can't live more than five to seven days without water, that's why, it became a very essential resource for humans and even for animals. As well as plants, they can't survive without water which will be used in the process of photosynthesis. Therefore, it is important for us to know where water came from so that we can be able to protect and preserve it. Some sources of water are obvious, like lakes and rivers, while others, like glaciers, are a bit more removed from everyday experience. With so many people living near water, it sometimes seems unlikely that water shortages could be a serious problem. Understanding the sources of water available for human use reveals how limited freshwater actually is. Despite the overwhelming amount of water on earth, very little of it is suitable for consumption. New research and technology are currently seeking answers to this dilemma. **Groundwater** Ground water refers to any source of water that lies beneath the soil layer. Ground water can exist in the soil itself or between rocks and other materials. Most communities obtain their water from underground aquifers, or rock formations capable of holding large amounts of freshwater. Only 3 percent of the water on earth is considered freshwater, with a mere 30 percent of that small amount being found as groundwater. Pollution, seawater contamination and overuse threaten this valuable resource. **Surface Water** Sources of surface water can include any above-ground collection of water such as rivers, lakes, ponds and oceans. Some sources of surface water are also fed by underground aquifers. Surface water accounts for 80 percent of the water human use. **Ocean water** Although ocean water makes up nearly 97 percent of all water on earth, it is not a viable source of potable water unless salt and other impurities are removed. Desalination, the process by which salt is removed from water, is a rapidly growing practice. While salt and other microscopic particles can be removed from water in a variety of ways, the most promising method is through reverse osmosis. This process forces saltwater through filters with microscopic pores that remove salt and other microbes. Reverse osmosis requires large amounts of energy, making it a very expensive process. **Ice caps and Glacial Melting** Of the 3 percent of earth's water considered freshwater, 70 percent of that small amount is currently locked in glaciers and ice caps. In theory, frozen glacial and ice cap water could be melted and used, but the amount of energy needed to melt and transport vast quantities of ice make it economically impractical. Glaciers and ice caps also play vitally important roles in the regulation of earth's climates and global temperatures, making their preservation very important. **Lakes** Freshwater lakes are inland and found throughout every region of the planet. Some lakes, however, have some saltwater content, or brackish water. Like oceans, lakes are home to various forms of life, from fish and crustaceans to algae and microscopic organisms. Lakes vary in size from small and quaint to massive, such as the Great Lakes in the United States. **Rivers and Streams** Rivers and streams are natural sources of moving freshwater that can be found in every country in the world. Rivers and streams can be so tiny that you can literally step over them. Or, like the Mississippi River, they can be so vast that most people couldn't swim across them. Rivers empty into bodies of water like lakes, basins, reservoirs and even the ocean. Living organisms also thrive in rivers and streams, but these natural water sources are noted for their ability to erode rocks and naturally smooth and polish them. **Importance of Water Resources Assessment on Soil and Water Conservation** Water resources assessment is a prerequisite for sustainable development and management of water resources worldwide. It provides a basis for the sound and proper planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of projects associated with irrigation and drainage; mitigating flood losses; industrial and domestic water supply; urban and suburban drainage; energy production; health; agriculture; fisheries; drought mitigation; and the preservation of aquatic ecosystems. Water resources assessment, under various names (e.g., water accounting, water resource audits, water census) are being increasingly promoted as a key component of integrated water resources management. Conducting water resources assessment in your area helps clarifying the following issues: Status of water resources at different scales, including inter-and intra-annual variability Current water use (including variability), and the resulting societal and environmental trade-offs Scale related externalities, especially when patterns of water use are considered over a range of temporal and spatial scales Social and institutional factors affecting access to water and their reliability Opportunities for saving or making more productive, efficient and/or equitable Efficacy and transparency of existing water-related policies and decision-making processes Conflicts between existing information sets, and the overall accuracy of government (and other) statistics. **REFERENCES** DTK Hydronet Solutions (2019). Check out my new community! Good Evening Everyone! I have created a new community here entitled "Education (af88)". My goal in creating this community is to be able to post here all our outputs from school because I believe that this community might help me soon especially that online class is a very challenging medium of communication. https://read.cash/c/education-af88 I wanted to post here my researched ideas so that in case I have lost my copy, I can go back here and found what I've been looking for. You know the cases when our gadgets suddenly breakdown and we are finding it hard to retrieve our data, I can use this platform as a storage as well as to help others who have the same outputs as mine. You can also post here if you want. Rules are the following: `1. Post only those article which can be a source of information especially for students here in read.cash.` `2. You can include cited contents but make sure to cite the references to avoid plagiarism.` `3. Anyone is welcome here as long as you don't violate any read.cash rules.` What you need to remember is that, whenever you include ideas that are not own-generated, you need to cite the references so that we can avoid plagiarism as well as practice copyright literacy. I am looking forward for all your articles to be posted here! ❤️

[POV] Send Motivation This article is for you if you're looking for a sign that you shouldn't do anything in the meantime. I haven't done anything for nearly two months, since the second semester began. And I've been wondering if I'll still be able to cross the finish line. Or am I simply hoping to meet the deadlines? This feeling is slowly infiltrating my body, as if to tell me that doing nothing will bring you peace and comfort, but what about my dreams? Last year, during the last month of the first semester, I noticed myself doing things other than academic-related things. I avoided academic conversation and even chose to sleep rather than finish an assignment due the next day. But why am I having this experience? Perhaps it's because I'm VIRTUALLY DRAINED. That's how I've been feeling recently. I'm completely exhausted. Some may be wondering, "What does it all mean?" Is there such a thing as a word? Well, the term "virtually drained" does not appear in any dictionaries; it is a term I coined to describe how I truly feel in this modern era. Every time we enter the virtual world, whether through social media, online classrooms, or other applications that transport you to another dimension of the world, the online world, Too much radiation from gadgets we can't live without, even for a minute, causes headaches and back pains. And being bombarded with a large amount of work assigned by various professors, as well as other problems we faced on a daily basis, muddled us and caused us pain. We had no idea it would last this long. Some of you may be wondering how I'm supposed to get through the first semester if I'm already feeling this way. Hmmm, perhaps due to good fortune? Or maybe it's just that I don't want to be a burden on my parents. But now that I'm nearing the end of the semester, I'm afraid that doing nothing will result in the end of my troubled life. It will bring me comfort. But how exactly? What should I do if my conscience continues to bother me and I am unable to complete all of the tasks that have been assigned to me? I'm completely exhausted. And I'm sure some of you have been in this situation. But giving up was never an option; it was a decision. "Suffer now and enjoy later," they say, but how much suffering do we really need? I'll read some of your comments because I want to know if I'm still doing well despite all of the problems I've had. I'm still on track to complete all of the requirements on time, just incase you're wondering🤗.
Thesis is Life, but Adventure is Lifer Yesterday, if you have read my previous article, I have shared to you my second part of Society Encounters which happened yesterday on our way to our thesis work. For today's article, I am going to share with you our affairs yesterday. Monday is allotted for our thesis works. Me and my thesismates decided to canvass the materials needed for our water filter system. The first thing we need to do is go to hardwares and look for a submersible pump with 100 Watts. This is our first destination. There are lots of materials to choose. But unfortunately, they don't have the stuff we are looking for. So, we moved to another hardware. We've been to 3 hardwares already but they don't have the pump we are looking for. So we decided to go first to a beach where we can find fine sands for our water filter system. We can already see the ocean while we are on our way. But we still need to go further. About 20 minutes of ride, we finally reached the ending of the road. We thought that the moment we stepped out of the vehicle, we can already see the ocean, but we're wrong. We still need to walk about 5 minutes to reach the ocean. We didn't really expect the road to be that watery and muddy. Take note! All of us are wearing white shoes hahahaha. I wasn't able to take picture of the road because I might slip. Imagine we are walking on rocks and muddy sands. But my other thesismate has recorded everything while we are walking haha but I know we can't upload even a short clip here. Here are some snaps. Thankfully, we reached the ocean with the guidance of our friend who lives near the area. We decided to take off our shoes so that it won't get wet. Before we started to get fine sand, we first took pictures as remembrance. ❤️ After taking some pictures, we then get our real agenda here. We gather fine sand. We just get about 2 1/2 kilos since it would be so bothersome to carry it considering the road we are taking and our boy thesismate will be the one to carry it. After gathering the needed sand, we then decided to go back to the town since we haven't taken our lunch yet and it's already 12nn. The way we used is the same way we used when we get there. You know the feeling when you feel like when you are on your way to your destination, the journey seems to be so long, but when you are going back, you feel like the road gotten short? Or it's just me? ahahaha Going back, we then went to Jollibee to eat our lunch. When we got to our seats, we are really laughing so hard because we realized that the setup in Jollibee is like a setup in a classroom where students are one seat apart. And what's funnier is that we are sitting in front of them, making us feel like we are their teachers! Hahahah take a look at this. I'm sorry to take pictures while you guys are eating hahaha. When our order arrived, we then proceed eating because we still have a lot to catch up. After eating, we then go to different hardwares. It wasn't easy going there and there especially that we are wearing shoes, and the sun is too bright. Thankfully, it didn't rain yesterday. After several minutes of walking, we then found two stores selling the same products but with a different selling price. We already negotiated with the owner that we will buy this item after we have done testing our machine. After all the stuff, we decided to go to the jeepney stop. While we are walking, my two thesismates found a shop that sells pillow cases so we stopped by for a second. After buying it, we then waited for jeepneys to come. While we are on our way home, we feel asleep hahahaha and our thesismate took a picture of us. HAHAHAHA I was really tired. Hahaha sorry. Anyways, after we reached our municipality, we then bid goodbyes and go with our own separate ways. Our main goal is to work with our thesis but on the other side, we also enjoyed working on it. We got to go to places we've never been before, we learned new things, we got to travel tho it's really costly, and most importantly, we got to go out and enjoy the outside surroundings despite the outbreak of this virus. Nothing is easy, but it depends on how you handled it. If we just think of getting tired of walking, we won't be able to accomplish anything. It's just a matter of positivity by changing your perspective in life, for a good way.

Society Encounters (Part 2) Part 1: Society Encounters https://read.cash/@noisytoothie/society-encounters-ed7827fb Today was a very exhausting day. I didn't expect to be this exhausted after a day of working on our thesis. It can't be compared on our previous works. February 21, 2022, me and my thesismates decided to go to Legazpi City which is about 49.9km away from our home and about an hour of ride. I leave our house at 7:30 and arrive at town before 8am. I waited for them and after a few minutes, they finally arrived then we waited for jeepneys to pass by. We finally hop in the jeepney and thankfully, the jeepney wasn't full of passengers. As we are on our way, I noticed a lot of things. Starting from inside the jeepney. There are no shields and safety protocol are not followed. The capacity of the jeep was doubled compared to the memo given by IATF. In the mid of our ride, there are about 3 passengers waiting but the jeep was already full. But what amazes me is that the driver insisted that they can still fit inside well in fact, we are already squeezed inside. I got irritated but didn't say anything. Another thing is that, there is this fat woman who sits like she owns the whole seat. While we are being squeezed up, she was sitting on a slant position making us more squeezed. I just didn't say anything. My thesis mate said she noticed it too. Continuing, I just get myself busy by watching outside the window. When we reached the town of Daraga, I noticed different kinds of people. I saw an old man pushing his cart, a middle-aged man selling handkerchief, a lady waiting for someone, a child selling ornamentals, jeepney drivers waiting for passengers, and other people minding their own business. As we go along the ride, I realized how different this world is. Just by looking at them making me realize that I still have more to experience in the future, that I still need to know lots of things. I've also seen professionals walking fast as if time is running towards them, and here I am imagining myself in that position. Have you ever feel the feeling of wanting to help a person but you can't help him? Earlier, while we are discussing about our next step, I saw this injured man selling handkerchief on the other side of the street. He was handling about 20 pieces of handkerchief. I wanted to buy from him but my money is just enough for my own expenses. At the end, I wasn't able to help him, but a thought came into my mind - When I can finally buy things that I need, without worrying of loosing, I promise to help them as long as I can. It's not just that man, but every single person who's working below the strong heat of the sun. When we arrived at the beach (because we need to collect fine sand for our water filter), we saw children swimming on the beach. Imagine seeing those happy faces when they are playing together. I know they are financially reach, but their hearts are. Then I realized that every one of us have our own battles to fight. Seeing those people who keeps on working hard just to satisfy their needs make me shamed myself for being so arrogant and picky sometimes. I can't imagine myself being in that kind of situation. I was born in a family where I can get my needs and thinking the other way around makes me feel sad and uneasy. I saw this little boy with his (I think) 2-year old sister sitting on the floor outside an establishment. The boy is extending his arm on every person that passes by on them, but no one is willing to help. It's sad that on a young age, he need to survive on his own. That is why, this coming election, I am really rooting for whoever won to focus their projects on child development and agriculture. Sadly, I wasn't able to take pictures but I'm sure you can picture it out based on my description and I know for sure that you have also encountered these kinds of stuff.
[POV] Valentine's Day Celebration for Singles For tonight's article, I used my friend's POV because she shared to me her valentine's day endeavors. I asked for her permission to post this and she even sent me pictures. Hope you enjoy reading! Everyone may be wondering why I began my title in that manner. This article is about us, a happily single human being who is looking for ways to bring light to a dark background after a breakup. I know you've read my previous articles about POV and other topics, and I know some of you may be wondering how my day went, especially on Valentine's Day. So, allow me to tell you about it because I had a great time! At exactly 12 a.m., I posted a story on my social media account encouraging everyone to spread love and happiness this Valentine's Day. That story reminds me that just because you have a traumatic past doesn't mean you can't be happy, especially on Valentine's Day. Everyone is deserving. We all deserve that wonderful and genuine smile on our faces, no matter how broken we are. That's the backstory to my post. I spoke with my senpai (senior) and discovered that he had deactivated his social media accounts for the sake of peace of mind. That is, indeed, very healthy. If you believe that something is causing you stress or draining you, you should pause and take a deep breath before continuing what you've begun. I also spoke with a friend who wished me a happy Valentine's Day. It's kind of cute, and I enjoy it. I decided to sleep after some chit-chat because I still have a long day ahead of me. I decided to get out of bed after nearly 8 hours of sleep and prepare my breakfast because I was starving at the time. I wish my mom could stay with me in my boarding house. After some thought, I decided to eat while scrolling through my phone, reading some messages and looking for my thesis mates, as we have a meeting with our thesis adviser scheduled for this afternoon. I texted them about the time and location of our meet-ups so that there would be no gaps as we went about our day. I decided to leave the house at 12:50 p.m. and walk to our school. It was only a 15-minute walk, so I made sure to bring an umbrella to shield my skin from the sun's rays. After about an hour of waiting, our thesis adviser arrived, and we discussed our thesis. Following the consultation, we decided to join our friends who are currently working on their thesis in the controlled house for plants that they built. We had some conversations and even offered some assistance, but I ended up sitting on the chair and talking about nothing in particular. At the end of the day, I received a bouquet of mustard leaves and lettuce that our friends had planted. Even though I only accomplished a few simple tasks that day, I had a great time. It was exhausting, but my happiness was overflowing, and that happiness led me to the church to buy some candles and thank God for everything that day. This article was created to remind everyone that Valentine's Day isn't just for couples and lovers. It's all about love: love for everyone, love for yourself, and love for everything. Do not lock yourself in a room while cursing at couples outside. Remember that you can have a good time on your own. It's wonderful to embrace peace, liberty, and tranquillity. All we need is acceptance. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!
