Sorry, doc
I was reading the article of bbyblacksheep about her diary of sort. She mentioned there having had migraine headache for days. Her solution? Two mugs of coffee. This takes me back to last Friday's event. https://read.cash/@bbyblacksheep/missed-days-23235413 Friday the 13th. The Friday before that, my partner went to work. They do work from home but since restrictions have been eased and depending on how the situation is at work, they meet in the office once a week and work there. A few days after that, they have learned that one of their coworkers tested positive for COVID including his entire family. It's not certain if he went for a test before he went to work that Friday. If he did, he should have waited for the test result. A couple of days later, another officemate tested positive. He was also one of those who were there in the office that Friday. Thursday night, my partner was called by a local health worker for contact tracing. We were informed to wait for the barangay workers to come test us. However, we couldn't wait. There was no set date when they will come. We decided to get tested at the hospital instead the next day. My partner also informed some of officemates about our decision and they agreed to be tested the next day too.
We arrived at the hospital one hour before the triage opened. We filled up the paper that was handed to us by the guard. There were a couple patients waiting already when we arrived. We went there early to avoid the crowd. When the staff arrived, we registered and we were given a card to present to the hospital every time we go there for checkup or any other medical reasons. During registration, we were told that we are up for contact tracing and it's up to the doctors to determine if we are for swab testing or not. All of us had colds that time. My brother has diarrhea. I had headache and itchy throat. My partner has asthma but was not suffering from such at that time. During the taking of my vital signs, the staff who took my blood pressure had to take it twice just to be sure. She asked me after the first take if I have hypertension but I said no. She took my BP again and it's the same result.
I haven't had my BP taken for a long time. I don't usually have it checked for I don't have the need to. I asked the staff if it was that high but she said it's higher than normal but not something to be alarmed. It was another wait before a doctor can see us. There was a wall and small window between me and the doctor who saw me. She asked me about what symptoms I had and I told her so. She then advised me to cut off my coffee intake for that might be one of the culprits for my headache. However, as I commented in the post of bbyblacksheep, drinking coffee relieves my headache too. I didn't tell the doctor that. I think one of the reasons that made my pressure go up like that was the anxiety and the reason why we were there in the first place. It's a terrible feeling. We are just one swab away for finding the truth. As what Momentswithmatti said in her COVID story, it is the psychological battle that is hard to fight with. The symptoms are manageable but it is your mind that you have to guard the most. https://read.cash/@Momentswithmatti/my-covid-19-stranded-story-57c602e1 What we think affects our body as well. It is touch but we had to be tougher not to keep thinking of what ifs. The doctors decided to have us all tested. At the testing site, I was more anxious as there was no proper distancing at all and that's the testing site for crying out loud! We filled more papers and waited in line for a staff to interview us. From what I have read, the nose swab hurts. However, it was uncomfortable all right but it does not hurt. There's even a tickly part that I liked lol! We were then informed to come back 2-3 days to get our results. We went home and stayed home until the results arrived. Good thing we were sent an SMS about our results. Thank God were were all negative. From that experience, we really should be more considerate about others. There are those who have families and elderlies to go home too. Stay home if you don't feel well. If you went for a test, stay home after and rest while waiting for the result. I'm also disappointed by the manager of my partner for not acting right away. She did not inform the others to get tested when they learned that one of them turned out positive. She didn't seem to have any concern at all! My partner and other workers had to do things by themselves for there was no initiative from the part of the management. Most of them were not vaccinated yet. Anyway, I still am thankful for we were all negative. So that's my coffee story.
Thank everyone for your support and continuing to read my articles. Keep safe.

But At least that’s good that you attested your self. Btw, Can you share the link of plagiarism checker, I mean from where you check your article is unique?
Ay imbag piman ta negative kayo. Agpavaccine kan. Ok met Sinovac. Ingat.
good thing everything is fine. Be safe.
Thanks God you are all negative. I think if I get tested with all the flu symptoms I had for the last two weeks I will be positive of covid. My fever keeps coming back, I had cough and cold. Since I know already that I would be positive if tested that's why I didn't went to the health care knowing how they would handle me there and how would the people react. I just stay in the house and get myself treated with herbal medicine and all. Now I am fine not totally Because I still have cough sometimes but I am happy I was better. Keep safe to all of you there most especially to your wife.
Thank God that you are all negative. 🙏 With the coffee issue. Hehe. One doctor had told me the same that too much caffeine can cause my migraine. Then my uncle who is also a doctor told me that black coffee is cure. I really do not know who to believe. So I just drink black coffee when I feel like my migraine is waving. Though during this year's summer, I think I drank a lot of iced coffee almost everyday that I felt some palpitations. But there were times that I really felt relieved after drinking 2 cups. Then I would rub some liniment oil on my temple where it hurts.
We should kinda rely on COVID testing. Swab test is little bit irritant but its result are more accurate. There should be social distancing between individuals standing in lines. Yeah! cOVID has psychology effects as well we should be able to bear them.
God is with you all the time ARTicLEE. Thank you to our almighty God that you are all negative. 🙏 Just always take care and keep safe always with your wife.🙏🙏
Thank God you guys are okay. Praying that you won't have any more similar experience. Yes, I am very wary going to health facilities because in those places, physical distancing is hardly observed. And unless people really become more disciplined and considerate, it will be a long battle.
I'm really glad the test turned out positive. I also did a covid 19 test on tuesday morning, the test took three days before the result finally came out and I tested negative. I had to take the test because I've lost my sense of smell and taste for two weeks now and people have been saying it's a symptom of covid19. I'm really glad I don't have it, and I'm happy for you too. The nose swab was really uncomfortable for me, at first I was calm, after sometime I had to push the doctors hand out of the way. Twas a bit scary, I realise the nose is actually deeper than I thought.
Good thing is the result is negative, it proves that all of you have strong immune system. Don't let your guard down madam, always drink vitamins, avoid from stress, sleep at right time. That's the best preventive measures to avoid from virus.❤❤
Thank God negative kayo! Shocks! .. Lols sa coffee as cure. Yeah, I charge the BP surge to the fact that you were in a place where you did not want to be and the reason why you were there also. True.. the battle with COVID is more psychological than physical. Hirap nga pag may ganung napasok. Alam na nga mga symptoms.. magpipilit pa. :(
Buti naman po it turn out negative po..huhu..kahirap pa naman po ngayon.. And it's very risky po pag hindi nasabi agad na may nagpositive pala..
I totally agree with you, I think the worst part of being suspected as covid patient is the anxiety. No wonder most of the well known personalities who were covid patients died not because of covid but with heart attack. Good thing that the result turned out negative sis..
It's a good thing that you never came out positive. As we have experienced illness reminiscent of covid last week, thankfully it was nothing severe and just a minor flu that we recovered quickly.
Thanks God, the result came out negative, I stop drinking coffee kasi madali na akong nerbyosin ever since ginawa ko syang habit at mahirap na talagang iwasan lalo na't nakasanayan mo na. Keep safe po lage I'll extend a prayer for you and your family.
Alla nagbuteng dayta sir tay nakacontact ti nag positive covid. Imbag langen sir ta nag neagtive kayo. Sunga dikam unay rumrumwar sir ta ditoy manila ket awan unay social distancing sikami ti magliklik kadakwadan ta dida met an annuroten ti health protocols ditoy..
The important part of the story "thankful for we were all negative". Happy for that, but still keep safe
thank goodness negative.. when i had my saliva test and i received my results as negative, I shouted praise God! it's a great feeling!
My brother tested positive today 😭😭...now I need to get tested.....and I'm seriously scared to get tested. The anxiety alone is what even kills more these days. Good you checked and it was negative. Take care of your self cLEE
Oh are there any symptoms you notice?
None yet, but I have hugged and shook him before he left to get checked.....my mind is kindof divided
I suddenly remember my friend who got tested positive.then I asked her if she was given a medication.. She said no.. She's only trying those herbal meds at home. How to cure a positive patient if there is no medicine? Meyged.
Hehe crazy right? Thing is you have to eat healthy food, rest, to make your immune system stronger. Or if not the virus will be in controlled. 😳😳
Sobra.. Pro it's deadly..so need tlga ng medication
I am glad that you all tested negative. It's quite disappointing on the part of the manager tho. They should have done something the moment they found out that one of their employee got positive. They shouldn't risk the health of their other employees.
It is really good to hear po that all of you are negative.
I think they are making very quick decisions to get back into the office. We have to accept the fact that we have to take even more care of ourselves. We must not let our guard down even if we are vaccinated. I am glad the results came back negative.
That's right which they shouldn't yet now that another variant is here. They finally decided to suspend meeting in the office until every one is vaccinated.
Ti maibagak lang. Anya jay nakilitiam? Char!
Many people believe that nothing will happen to them. They go out thinking that they have a common cold and don't think about others. Thank God you all tested negative. Take care and stay safe! :)
I understand the fear though for going for a test. Nowadays they will brand you as positive even if you are not. At least that is the belief and fear circulating around but we really should be more careful.
Thank G you're negative! Still, be wary and be careful.
We really should be more careful all the time.
That's true. I know several really healthy people who suddenly left the world because of this.
I forgot what the book I read about the coffee.. coffee is not a beverage tlga.. maganda syang inumin sa mga masasama Ang pakiramdam - ung black ah.
Glad to hear it's negative. Still need to be careful and stay safe. This pandemic is far from over.
That's right. We can't be complacent.
Stay safe in this pandemic period. Because its the psychological trauma and not the physical condition that bothers us.
That is the truth. Stay safe out there too.
Sure. Thanx
Oh just because of coffee. Haha. At least it's good you're all negative.
Lol! I don't believe it was. I think it was the anxiety really but still have to take better care of ourselves :D
psychological effect is the worst thing to affect our body. when ECQ started I got nervous breakdown for almost 2 months napapraning me. but then need to fight our negative thoughts. thankful your all have negative results.
Wen garud. Isu rigat na nga talaga.
