I'd also add Zapit to the list, the margins you make on each trade might not be as big, but the experience is much smoother in my opinion. Providing P2P liquidity is a great way to support adoption...

This would be pretty amazing. One step closer to ethereum style dapp interfaces on BCH.

This looks like the right way forward. I had stopped reading the front page due to the number of low quality articles put out, if the quality improves again as a reaction to this then I'm going to b...

The advantage of Ethereum's model is that smart contract transactions can be sent in parallel (i.e. without having to resign a transaction if a competing one appears). This approach does vastly in...

Yeah, unfortunately monetary reward attracts bounty hunters. Posted something and had 2 spam replies pretty much instantly. They've been downvoted and hidden pretty quickly though.

After the introduction of the points system I've noticed a lot of (probably) generic/unrelated comments, not sure if that's the type of engagement that's healthy. Any plans on addressing this?

I've been back and forth with @emergent_reasons (he's actually the reason I started working on this). This is something seperate, it's a platform whereas I believe Flipstarter is an OSS host it your...

LBRY seems like the way to go, they need to sort out the speed issues though

Kickback like schemes have already been observed in networks like Stellar (Lumenaut) and EOS. Wouldn't be so surprised if it appeared in BCH-IFP as well gradually.

Watched a screening in Perth. I don't agree with everything said, but it's a well produced film.

It's my opinion that scalable physical broadcast systems is the next big step in censorship resistance. [Shameless plug: https://read.cash/@mesquka/infrastructure-threats-to-p2p-networks-2ce18935...

Encryption solves part of the issue. The decryption key needs to be entered only on signup.cash domains and the user needs to be trained to check the URL before entering a password. The reason I'm a...

Looks like it'd be a much nicer UX, I'd just be worried about storing the private key in localStorage.

Agreed, though I don't think that crypto will really act like an alternative to the traditional financial system as long as the primary usage is speculation by speculators speculating on the future...

Would be good to have a feed for only users you follow added to the 'hot' 'new' 'random' and 'top' feeds.

The most memorable network effect in BTC is the network's fees. I still remember paying $50+ to send my single input single output transactions in 2017.

On the OC copy/paste protection. Could linking your accounts via OAuth help? That way you can automate having to verify users are the same on major platforms.

Makes sense. An auto-burn feature if this is implemented wouldn't be too bad. Allows people to not have to worry about managing points and keeping track of the fund etc. Just have a little BCH come...

I like the idea of points being burnt automatically at the end of the day and paid out as it rewards ongoing engagement. Accrued points would make it pretty much impossible for new users to get anyt...

Honestly, these days I find people that have opted to stick behind a pseudonym are a lot nicer than most. Might just be the groups I run in though.

I did like the idea that in order to upvote something you had to put your money where your mouth is. Don't mind this change though, but would prefer the tips being factored in again.
