The point system: 3 days in
UPDATE: There was a mistake in the original post. Our users collect about 10 times more points than previously stated. See the comment by Cain and our reply for the explanation.
So, the point system has been online for three days and we thought we might share some stats about it.
How many points per day do users accumulate:
Currently, all of read.cash users collect between 5000 and 10'000 points per day.
The fund has about $3'000 so it pays out about $15 per day, so one point cost is:
...less than one cent, namely between 0.1 and 0.4 cents.
We think that the price of points might rise in the next few days, since in the first days a lot of old articles achieved 100+ views. Basically, if an article had 150 views and somebody visited it - it would immediately get "100+ views" bonus, so a lot of old articles generated a lot of points for older authors. This will go down in time and mostly only recent actions will bring points, that's why we think that the point price might increase in the following days (because the daily payout is divided by the number of points accumulated, so fewer points mean greater price).
In the meantime read.cash has crossed 2,500 registered users.
