"Its kind of Unfair for Us"

Amidst the typhoon PaengPh, the scheduled date of our next Volleyball game was not change. Good thing the weather has calmed for a while, given us the chance to travel going to the venue of the said game, including the championships.

As per discussed in our group chat, the scheduled time will be at 1 pm to 1:15 pm. Unexpectedly, due to the recent typhoon, the time was moved at 2 pm, but they only changed it when we are already there. We had a little commotion regarding the situation because the team that we will up against should be forfeit already due for coming later than the scheduled time and the extra time given to them. But in the end, the one who was followed was the committee who organized the said event. Isn't it unfair? Well, we don't have any other choice.

At around 2:30 pm, our game started. We won the first set, but the second and the decision set was taken by the team we played against. So, we were placed at Third. Due to power outage, I wasn't able to take some picture of our games and for our team picture.

After our game, the Championship game follows. Team Cacao Voyagers and Team Hitudpan plays it. A close fight it is, really. A lot of audience was there, (one of the reasons we can't concentrate on our plays) to support their team, especially for the Voyagers team. But in the end, Team Hitudpan ruled over the court. After five sets in the first game and another two sets in their second game, Team Hitudpan declared as the over-all Champion, though we didn't watch the entire game due to power outage and "panaka-nakang ulan." We decided to go home instead.

When I arrived home, I was really hoping that the electricity is back so that I can charge my phone and of course, to contact my love Rhed again. Around 7 pm, I was able to charge my phone after the LEYECO IV informed the people in our barangay that the electricity will be back in a few minutes. I was actually in my Aunt's house at that time because I was looking for something for dinner. Fortunately, when the electricity came back, the Internet connection came back as well, so I was able to chat Rhed using my cousin's phone, informing him about the situation and I immediately went home afterwards.

Going back to the topic, when I already had a chance to look at my messenger, I received a lot of notification coming from our group chat and how the games went. They sent few photos after their games, and I was able to read a lot of messages from the gc members congratulating all of the winners, including us.

Supposedly, the champions of that "Paliga" was the third place and us MIGHT climbed up to the top. But, what else we can do? We just followed the head of the event. It may kind of unfair for us but in the end, we chose to give the floor to them. Only God knows when will be our to defeat the Powerhouse teams. Still, it was a great experiences for all of us.
