Pressure: A Friend or An Enemy?
Hi, I am idle here for four days since we do not have money to load for our wifi last Saturday and also I am very busy because we had our preliminary exam last Saturday. And then I continued to make our thesis cause I am the only one doing it, my co-members were busy in their lives but they also had contributed like an act of service on graphing our results in excel and the other one is handling the errands at our university in research publishing office. And then I have been reviewing for this coming Certified Tax Technician Exam, and hopefully I can pass it so that the money for registration will not go for nothing.
As you can see, my life right now is somewhat heated by pressure. With that, I just wanna share to you a poem I made, in which I made for my cousin last Sunday night since they were tasked to make a poem about pressure. She said she still had loads of tasks to do and she will prepare for their report afterwards, so she reached out to me cause she knew that I know how to make a poem. And it goes like this:
***An Advice to My Younger Self***
***It's already late at night when I finished the project given to us,***
***The last task to be submitted for tomorrow's class,***
***It's all about finding your childhood picture,***
***And craft it creatively to make a wonderful brochure,***
***It must contain a letter inside to your younger self,***
***If what piece of advice can I give so I have to delve.***
***A pretty kid with an innocent smile softened my heart,***
***There are many things that I wanted to tell you through art,***
***I want to introduce to you a friend that can make you suffer,***
***That friend who can make things tougher as you grew older,***
***And I want to name that friend of mine "Pressure" and hey,***
***He's a friend that can also be your lifetime enemy someday.***
***He's a friend because he can help you to save time,***
***He will hone you to stay focus and complete tasks on a dime,***
***In any projects he can also help you to preserve your interest,***
***Yet as an enemy he will drown yourself with too much stress,***
***Which will make you breathe nothing but tiredness and anxiety,***
***But I tell you no matter what happens, always choose him***
***as your friend sweetie.***
You see, pressure is everywhere and inevitable in our everyday life, you and I tend to experience it everyday. But as you can perceive on my poem, I have considered pressure as two persons, a friend and an enemy. Certainly, pressure can be our friend because it will help us to be productive and sometimes it can also help to motivate us to persevere and finish our tasks on time. The ability to work under pressure as I can notice, is one of the abilities that an employer looked for an employee to work with their company.
Nevertheless, it can also be our lifetime nemesis. People who are too chained with pressure tend to to experience stress everyday. Most especially if they don't know how to handle it and they do not have any coping mechanism on it. The inability to overcome this and can cause mental fatigue, affects the quality of your work, loses their emotional balance and effects to health problems by the stress at work.
There are many factors that influence pressure to a certain person, which are categorized by two such as the internal and external pressure. Internal pressure comes from you inner self when you failed to accomplish something and then you push your limit in your next try or you simply pressure yourself that much just to get your job done perfectly. And then the external pressure comes from different social aspects. And these are:
**Peer Pressure**– usually this comes from your peers for example is if your friends are all well-off except you, or if they are all outstanding students and yet you keep on failing your exams, they all are successful person but you still find it hard to look for a job and others. These things may give you some anxiety and will stress you out through thinking what's lacking on you? Why can not you be like them ? This may even lower your self-esteem and confidence in yourself.
**Family Pressure–** from the word itself, it's a pressure that comes from your family. Such as when your parents pressure you to have high grades and you must do well in your school, and then they would get mad when you failed, more importantly when they are too much strict to you that deprived you from your social life. It can also be from your siblings, most especially when they frequently compare you to your younger sister or eldest sister.
**Social Pressure–** I do not know exactly what should be the term for this but some example for this is the pressure you get from the society like the trend and social norms, or from your school, workplace and others. Especially nowadays, bashing can happen in just one click away, so if you are a person who wanted to please everyone, pressure could really haunt you down.
**How to overcome pressure?**
Well, when pressure can be our enemy take note that it can also be our friend it is up to you if how will you consider pressure, a friend or an enemy? Dwelling the feeling of getting pressured must not be prolonged cause it can ruin you as a person, more importantly it can make you lose your own self. So let me share to you some of my ways to overcome pressure.
Take a break.
Always look at the brighter side.
Do the things you love.
Use your coping mechanism.
Know your worth.
Stop trying to fit in and please others.
Love yourself.
Wear your smile.
Exercise
Meditate
Just enjoy what you do.
Practice self-talk.
Atleast give yourself a healthy sleep.
Have fun, cause you only live once.
Pray or communicate to God often.
These are just some of the things that I do when I feel pressure in myself. Always put on your mind, life is too short to let yourself be overcome with pressures in life. As Robert Schuller quoted, "Tough times never last, but tough people do."
Hey it's been a while. Thank you for passing by, what about you what do you do to overcome pressure in life? Just comment below.

The Analogy of Flies and Butterflies
**Before anything else allow me to ask this one question first. If you were given the chance to be an insect, what would you like to be? A fly or a butterfly?**
Well, I know most of us will obviously pick butterfly. Of course with its own beautifully designed four separate wings enthusiastically flying around blooming flowers, it would really made you want to be a butterfly. Unlike a fly, you can mostly spot them on a dirty places, wastes of humans and animals, and carcasses or dead organisms. But did you know that despite their differences in physical appearance, in some part they also share the same functions?
This fascinating fact was shared to us by our instructor in Environmental Science. And according to her, this two insects definitely hold similarities in our environment. We already knew that butterflies used to pollinate plants in our garden and carry it to the other plants which helps them to produce new seeds. However, they not only sip nectars on flowers and vegetables as their source of food, like flies they can also be found sipping mud and wet sand and feeding on feces, wastes and corpses which were usually done by males.
On the other hand, flies, aside from sitting around dirty places and known as one of the illness spreaders, also plays a vital role in the nature, most especially in pollination in both natural and agricultural system like butterflies. In fact, they have been documented as the primary pollinators for many plant species. According to a study, flies were the most important pollinators after bees but the bees got most of the credit (Pain, 2021). They are often neglected and underappreciated but they entail important function more importantly in food chain.
With all the these information, I have come into a deep realization that flies and butterflies are just like people. You know, each of us has varied physical appearances and status in life. Some were even criticized because of their odd look which does not fit to the standards of the society. People with bizarre appearances tend to get judged more often yet persons with gorgeous physique got the most of the credit which are also mostly treated well. For example, I once watched some social experiments by content creators on YouTube.
I can now find it hard to reseach the video cause it is actually just a long time ago but you can find the same video too. And allow me to share what I watched that time. One of it is when a girl was dressed poorly and the management made her ugly. So she was tasked to ask for help and the situation is to borrow a phone from random strangers to contact her family cause she was lost, but people whom she go near with hesitated to respond for her help. But when she was dressed sexily and made her look like a rich person, many people now wanted to help her knowing the fact that people were oblivious that the two are just the same person.
In such case, biases and stereotypes are evident and pretty rampant in our society nowadays. We can conclude, that life is not really unfair, people are. That is why people need to know that just like flies and butterflies, this society might composed of different people with multiple personalities but all of us have our own uniqueness which can be a great asset to every lives of other people, that may also contribute to make this world wonderful.
**May it be a fly-like or a butter-fly like, we must appreciate everyone of us. Respect everyone's differences, in that way— in our own little ways, we can help and spread positivity in this world full of adversities.**
**Hi, thank you for passing by. I hope you learn something. God bless.**

When A Well Invested Time and Effort are Bound to Nothing
***Have you experienced wherein you worked hard for something because you have a goal to achieve, you invested lots of efforts and most importantly time? And you are so happy because your hard works has been paid off. However, the most heartbreaking part is when that thing was being stolen from you.***
Perhaps most of us have already encountered such event right? Let me ask you, how did you handle it? Well, allow me to share this to you. This experience is not mine but from my boyfriend. Only just yesterday I had learned that his Crossfire account from game club was so expensive for him. I thought he is just really fond of playing that, it is actually because he also made an income out of it. That explains why he chose to be awake at night and participate to clan wars cause that is how he earned from it. That was his side hustle during night time.
And yesterday, he was so sad when he chatted me that something is going on with his Crossfire account. It had been hacked through mistakenly logging in his account in a fake website. He said it felt like his heart had really been broken and his world fell apart when he cannot think of a way on how to retrieve it. And I was so saddened too, knowing I witnessed how he really gave up his sleeps at night just for that game. I told him he can still cope the money in his account soon, but he told me it is not just the money that he regretted but the time he spent on it.
So I helped him to find ways on how to retrieve his account because I can see that he was already hopeless. I shared to him what I researched but he told me there is no way he can apply that method because he already forgot the information he filled there before, for they are in a hurry when he made his account that time with his friends. Well, if I were in his shoe I would be that hopeless too but I just kept on cheering him up and motivating him that he can still get back his account.
Actually I found someone when I also researched in my facebook account. Based on the post, he is good at retrieving hacked accounts on Crossfire. And someone provided his IG account so I reached him out. I checked first his posts but I can see that he is not that famous, though his followers reached to thousands of people. His posts did not have any comments and his recent post had only one user commented telling to give him a try cause he is good. So I messaged him. But as our conversation went by, I am starting not to trust him. With that, I withdraw myself on asking help from him cause what if he will demand a big amount later on. Here's our conversation:
Then afterwards, he told me that he made a new account with correct full information to easily retrieve his account someday if the same thing might happen. But he also honestly admit to me that he had already lost the vigor to begin again. I did not know how to comfort him since we are in long distance relationship, so I just keep on encouraging him with exhorting and comforting words. Also, I keep on monitoring him and calling him through video chat to know if he's doing fine. And as far as I can observe, this whole thing is making him lazy cause I always find him asleep.
Nowadays, scams are pretty prevalent in any social media platforms and there can be subtle traps and baits set up waiting for you to bite or step on it. That is why we have to be cautious on handling our accounts especially if it contains money because this is the cause of any situation like this. Many people today are blinded by the luminous pleasure brought by money, indeed loving it is the root of all evil. This experience can be a steering wheel in your journey. Surely, circumstances like this are inevitable but we must not let this thing overcome you.
So in a nutshell, investing a vigorous time and effort to a thing that are bound to nothing might be painful and you might get sad cause you think you are that careless and seems like you just failed, always bear in mind that it is not the end of life. And according to Los Angeles-based psychologist Crystal Lee,**“Failure is seen as an opportunity to learn and grow. It is an opportunity to be embraced, analyzed, and picked apart, rather than something to run away from.”**
PS: If whoever here knows how to recover a Crossfire account in game club, please do comment down for it would be a great help if so. Thank you for passing by, hope you learn from this blog.

Find the Calm in the Chaos
*"Just because life can get crazy, doesn't mean you must go crazy. You can experience outer chaos, and still find inner peace. Nothing even needs to change outside you, to find calm inside you. This calm is available at all times. Just breathe."*
*- Karen Salmansohn*
Hi there!
So I was kind of inactive yesterday because I just did some unwinding. Well actually, yesterday was a beautiful day for me since finally I got the chance to take a break from my hustles and bustles in life, finally, I was able to breathe. Indeed, there is always a surge of chaos in life like a typhoon surges in certain place. But always remember, that we also deserve to enjoy life, to have fun without thinking for hard exams, stressful jobs, problematic relationships, financial problems, worsening world and degrading society. No matter what happens, always protect your inner peace, laugh more, breathe and most of all, find the calmness in the chaos.
So yesterday, I planned to screw my paperworks and decided to focus myself to having fun, it is also a perfect timing cause we do not have a class for today and tomorrow. That means, I can rest for today. It was 6:00 in Sunday morning when I woke up because I had to wash our dishes for we have to attend in the church later. I was also surprised and thankful for the continuous tips from @TheRandomRewarder in one of my articles, that was actually my first time and I'm also grateful for other users who generously tipped my articles, I pray for more blessings that will be showered upon you.
Moving forward, allow me to tell you how my Sunday went. After our church service we proceeded to the beach for our church bonding. Since there are many birthday celebrants of this month among our members, we decided to just merge the celebration along with the baptism of our two members. Each of the family supported the event and they wholeheartedly share some foods for lunch for us to enjoy together. We also prepared little games for them, such as when a person cannot answer correctly on what was being asked to them, we have to push their faces in a plate of flour, but if they can answer it right we give them a chunk of chocolate. It's like this:
Everyone had fun, not only kids and young people but also the adults cause all of us participated on the games. Afterwards, was s the baptism. Our way of baptism is through immersion in the water, just like what was being taught in the bible. Also, they must be already saved in which they must have already accepted, believed and confessed to acquire salvation, and if they are ready to be baptized they can request to our pastor. So let me take a you a peek on it:
Then, when the ceremony was over we congratulated them and we immediately resort to the refreshing waters of the ocean. The tranquility of the waves smashing on your body could really help to ease the stress cells partying within. I also noticed that it was so good beneath cause it was somewhat cold. And then we also played "It" game with my co-youth. The ocean had witnessed how we shared our laughter together, like it is our last days on earth, despite adversities that are heading toward us in the coming days. Still, we choose to find the calm in the chaos.
Thank you so much for passing by, I hope you will choose to find the calm in the chaos.

Believe in your infinite potential. Your limitations are those you set upon yourself.
***Have you experienced a situation wherein, you did not stick to your own idea but then it turned out that it is actually the right answer?***
Well, earlier around 1:30 pm-2:30pm was actually my Environmental Science subject which is the course GE 15, also it is our first discussion since we just have our second term for the second semester. So our topic is about environmental issues, then our instructor keep on discussing about the different issues until we arrived on the idea of climate change. And then she came into a realization to ask us if, **"Is climate change, naturally-made or human-made?"** Since the class went silent and no one volunteered to answer, she then let us pass the index card to her that contained our name and courses.
She then shuffled it and the index card of one my female classmates was picked. As our instructor called her name, she answered that according to her, she believed that it is human-made. I have already forgotten what were her exact words but the only word I remembered is about the carbon dioxide in the whale something like that. All of us clapped at her cause she is so good at delivering her answers plus she is so fluent in English with good diction. And the our instructor called another one afterwards, and the bad luck came to me.
Well, I have already thought about it thoroughly, I believe that it is naturally-made but because of nervousness and pressure I got from the first one, I blurted out that I agreed with her and told them the difference between then and now. And I am so embarrassed after cause I stuttered and mental-blocked. Seems like my confidence really lied low since I stopped from my job that has something to do with verbal communication in my major subjects we are not that really into oral communication so my skills was not that really developed further.
My real answer that conformed with my beliefs and my own analysis is that it is naturally-made because climate change really exist innately. However, it just minimal due to some natural disasters as well such as volcanic eruption. Nevertheless, the climate change now is not natural anymore because it has been exacerbated by humans, doing activities that releases excessive carbon dioxide, cutting of trees and establishing more industries and other activities. Our instructor confirmed that climate change is actually naturally made, and she corrected my classmate that ocean really absorbs 30% of carbon dioxide it's not the whale. But due to human interventions it has worsen.
You see, the lesson that I actually learned from it is just trust yourself and be true to yourself. Stick to your own analysis either it is right or wrong for others. There are times that we need to be self-reliant and be intuitive if there are uncertainties which is important in the prospect of decision-making, being firm to what we believe is right and speak it out as long as you know that it is relevant.

Thanks for reading. I hope you also learned from it.

The Art of Solitude
*"****It's easy to stand with the crowd it takes courage to stand alone.”***
*Being alone might be sometimes lonely, but what matters most is you know how to stand alone.*
I was gone for the past few months here in this platform, cause those days had been so rough for me. From my thesis, finals, and from my CTT examination. I was too stressed out that my head felt like throbbing in pain. I know that I never did something so much heavy but I felt tired on this whole situation. Maybe because I got pressured too I think. Cause I am a graduating student and my goal is to graduate because that is what people expected from me, especially my family. I am also busy searching for online jobs in which I failed to find, just to help my parents support my studies since they didn't have a stable job.
But despite those silent battles on my own, I still believe that all is well. That everything will be alright and there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. So now I'm back here again cause I feel like I'm ready to share to you my struggles and how I handle it. And right now, I am here all alone in the library, writing this blog while waiting for my next subject. You know, my college life changed when I stopped studying last pandemic because of financial problems. And now I'm back, coping other subjects on my own.
If back then, I still have friends who reminded me for my tasks, activities or assignments and other matters in my college. Now, I reminded my own self for any errands just for me to not get left out in the class. If that time I still have those people whom I shared laughter, gossips and life stories with, now I spent myself sitting still along the chairs in library, reading books and scrolling my social media accounts or do my assignments and projects. Also talking to myself at the back of mind. If back then, I still have friends with me whom I strolled together with at the mall or anywhere if our class is over, now I directly go home. And lastly, if back then I used to eat in the cafeteria or in fine restaurant with them, now, I am eating alone.
At first, I find it lonely and sad but then as time elapsed, the more I get used to it, the more I understood the art of solitude. Being alone taught me how to be independent and I learned a lot from it. In the other aspect of our lives, sometimes we need to know how to only depend on our own, how to do things alone. In that way, you will not worry anymore if someone will leave you behind cause you know that pain will be just bearable and you can stand on your own after all. Nevertheless, most of all, I knew right from the start that there is Someone behind me. Hence, be independent from other people but be dependent to God cause He will not leave us nor forsake us. That was His promise, and He mean it for the rest of our lives.
**Thanks for passing by! God bless you more.**

My ESL Teacher Journey in Acadsoc
Since today is world's teacher day, I just want to share to you my experiences when I was an ESL teacher in a Chinese company named Acadsoc. I never dreamt to be a teacher before, but life let me experience one.
The wonderful journey happened last year while I am not yet studying. My father was the one who introduced the agency, who recruited capable persons for the said job to me, which fortunately just situated near in our place. My course is far from being a teacher cause I am an accountancy student that time, but I still tried to since I think I can do it. I am also a call center agent in my previous job so I was able to practice my English speaking skills and gained some confidence. Though, I was still in hesitant cause in this job you got to show your face of course and I am actually a shy type person, but then I thought that was already an opportunity, hence, grab it.
And so, I still applied and complied the requirements needed. Also, I answered lots of exams and had to undergo a demo wherein a manager will give us a score as a basis as well if I am qualified for the job. Consequently, I got a good grade and surprisingly our handler complimented me cause according to her, I have a nice voice and a good accent. For those who do not know what an ESL teacher is, well ESL is an acronym for English as Second Language. It is an online teaching job wherein I teach English language to Chinese students. I used to teach students with different ages, may it be adult, teenagers or kids. But what amused me most are kids.
Here are some of my memories with them.
**The identical twins.**
Who would have thought that these faces are actually from two person? I forgot their names already but actually I got surprised too at first. I was confused that time and it goes like this because the other one loves playing toy guns but the other one does not, the other one was energetic but the other one is just calm. The energetic one loves eating watermelon. The first one I met is the one who was energetic, and then I met his twin later than him but just in different schedule. So I was kind of confused cause he became a different person the next day, and his twin laughed so hard, he said the one who loves eating watermelon is his brother. But then, they both love playing snake in ladders after we were done in our class and if there will still be a time remaining.
**The cute student in emoji.**
I also love this student so much. He is so cheerful and attentive in our class. He is also a smart one. The moment in the image was when our topic is all about emotions, and we did mimic different emotions here. The left image is the angry one and yet he is pouting, or maybe because he thought I am pouting too but that is actually my angry face HAHAHAHA. The right one is a happy emotion, he is so cute that I can't stop doing some screenshots.
**The humourously smart.**
This one is so smart too and I love how comfortable she was with me that she was able to blow a joke. We are both laughing so hard in here cause he find the "He is big eyes funny." She said, ***"Teacher, he is big eyes?"*** Then we both burst in laughter, HAAAHAHHHAHHA. Well, I still find it funny until now.
**The cool artist.**
Yeah, this one is a cool kid. He is just so calm and cool while participating in my class. He loves to draw when we finished our class and if we still have time left. In the image, I told him to draw an alpaca cause atleast it was still part of the lesson and to see if he still remembered it. And he quickly obeyed when he was told. He was so cool like he really know what he is doing. And afterward, he told me ***"Well it looked like a rabbit but it is really an alpaca."*** I just held back my laughter cause he is still so cool telling that to me.
Well those are just some of the momeries that I always carry within myself. I still have lots of memories to share to but it would costs countless words to scribble. But I also wanna share this certain student of mine as well, in which I cannot forget. She is a teenager I guess, if my memory serve me right. She used to be just silent during my class and I can see that she can hardly grasp in the class. But I understand that one, cause I have once been there. However, it did not hinder her to do better. I always urged her to ask questions if she wanted to, and she did so. Her determination was pretty dominating. Until each session she became better and better. Nevertheless, I was so touched when he commented on the feedback part my account. I thought someone complained me but she typed there to bid goodbye cause summer is over and she will be back to her regular class. And she did thank me as well. I just appreciate it cause we can not be messaged and yet she still found a way.
In a nutshell, despite teaching them various lessons, they also taught me lots of it. And now I understand why some of the teachers seem like they do not age, because you can not stop laughing when you are with them most especially when you manage to create a bond with your students, they would really give you joy. And that was my wonderful journey as an ESL in Acadsoc. I still have lots of memories to share to but it costs thousands of words to scribble.

Chasing Clouds
**“We all do things we desperately wish we could undo. Those regrets just become part of who we are, along with everything else. To spend time trying to change that, well, it’s like chasing clouds.” – Libba Bray**
There are really times in our life wherein we do things— and afterward we end up haunting by a thought wishing that if only we could go or turn back those times, we could have set things right and not fall back in your current situation. Regrets are like ghosts who keeps on habituating your entirety, who lets you remember your failures and disappointments within yourself. And you can do nothing but live with it, accept the fact that it happened and it has to be part of the process. Yet sometimes, we live our life trying to change or correct that mistake, and prove to ourselves or to others each day that we are a better person now.
But, does that really work?
I was on my second year college level at that time, in which I felt so delighted and blessed that I was chose and became one of the TES scholars, a grant given by the government to college students worth of sixty thousand pesos a year. As a kid who was not born with a silver spoon, it was such an honor for me of course to be part of that scholarship because it was already a great help, most especially to my parents who gave their blood and sweat just to sustain the needs of their four kids who all go to school. That scholarship would really lessen the burden.
However, pandemic came and the release of the grant was delayed. Still, I was able to finish my second year at that time without paying my tuition, cause we are so confident with the scholarship. And as time elapsed the enrollment for the next semester came for my third year in college, but then the grant was not yet still released and in order for me to get enrolled, I have to pay first 50% of my balance for the meantime which is amounting to approximately fifteen thousand pesos. My parents could not afford paying it cause we are in the verge of financial crisis at time, the reason I was compelled to stop from studying.
The scholarship was released by the second semester of the year, yet half of the amount was only given to me cause only the second semester of the previous year was being credited. So I decided to just continue my study next year since my father no longer had his job and I merely spend my time looking for jobs to also have extra income as I get back to school next semester. I aso believe that I could still have my scholarship back once I pursue my study again because that was our handler told me that they will apply me again once I get back.
As what I had planned, I get back to school just last year for my third year in college. But unfortunately, I was not able to get my scholarship back which truly devastated me. The new handler told me that I should have just enrolled once I claimed the grant way back last year, cause they can not give a hundred percent of assurance that I will be included on the list again. I was tearied eye at that moment once I left the accounting office, overthinking what will happen to me now that I lose the opportunity that was once given to me, and was once mine. In my mind, I keep on regretting that I should have had followed it up, I should have asked any further about if before for the possibilities, I should have had the vigor to find ways to keep it.
My regrets swallowed me more when I witnessed the facebook posts and status of my classmates or batchmates last year wearing their black togas. I felt so disappointed with myself that time, I could have had finished my studies as well last year if I had not stopped. Each day, I tried hard to get better, thinking how that past haunts me and finding ways to get rid of it. But then, it does not help. The more I forced myself the more I create pressure within, more importantly when pressure is inherently everywhere.
In a nutshell, spending time collecting those shards to fix a broken glass is definitely a struggle. In the same way, spending time trying to change a situation in the past that regretted you the most is truly agonizing. But most of all, those two analogous situations, if done, will only lead you to chasing clouds. Hence, if ever your regrets will visit you again, always remember that all the happenings in our life, may it be negative or positive, are all part of our lives just like waves and ripples are part of the ocean. Just go with the flow— keep sailing, don't look back and get stronger and wiser each day. The more you sail the more you are getting nearer and nearer to the place where you have to be.
Hi it's so good to be back, sharing this experiences of mine wherein you can also learn from. I was on a hectic schedule, and I am so full with anxiety that I need something where I can open up. So here it, is.

https://youtu.be/4oy2iNcmk4U
Few days had passed, we communicate more often like before sharing things and he frequently sent me voice messages of him singing as well. And most of all, he became sweeter to me each day but it I did not let myself be affected by it, I instead treated it as some kind of joke of whatever sugar-coated words he had cooked for me that I merely pulled sarcasms as my defense, cause even though he is a good friend of mine, I know— even if he had not told me, he had lots of girls and I did not want to be one of them.
Until time came, the communication was slowly fading. And I just saw his shared post on my news feed tagging a codename of a girl and called her his crush. Yes, I'm a bit hurt. Little did I know, I admittingly once liked those sugar-coated words that he fed me but in my mind I know it's not right to feel and I had to get rid of that feeling. And so I did, good thing that I became busy since my position as an admin elevated as a war judge of the arena they were in (yes there is some sort of those things on this platform but of course just virtually, wars there are debates, trashtalks, poem wars and many more).
I moved on so quickly because of that, plus we are no longer chatting. At the same time, someone had also kept on pestering me to be his girlfriend, he's also a gang leader like him. I really don't like this another guy but he was so persistent that he told me he will kill his self if I would not say "yes" to him. I know you can call me stupid, but I agreed to have a relationship cause, what if he would really do that right? And in fact, he did not love me I know he would give up. Besides, I was just curious on how to be in a relationship actually, it's just virtual though so there can be no problem.
By that means, I finally got a boyfriend— I'm still not certain about his real gender but he was portraying as a guy and our relationship created some issue because some people claimed that he was flirting with a gang leader as well, but still I treated him nicely despite of that, in fact he was not committed to that girl though. Many days came by, he's actually sweet and talkative like he's telling me his whole life already.
I seem comfortable with him a bit, but my trust issue got molded when he asked my real facebook account and then I gave it to him, but when I asked for his he never dared to give it to me. I also found out on his account that he cheated on me but I still accepted him and I forgot already the reason why I did that. Nonetheless, I finally gave up because I don't want to prolong my agony, I had already been attached to him and yet he's just Iike fooling around.
Breaking up with him is not that really painful actually, cause I'm not that deeply, insanely and madly in love with him. So back to the first guy, we had still been interacting though during those times that I am with my ex, because of my responsibility and his as a leader. But after those happening with the former guy he kinda asked if how I was, and so I opened up to him. But that's just it afterwards, we are still friends though.
I still thank God for giving my ex as a distraction, yeah I know I'm quite cruel in that part. My life goes on still on that world, and I felt so peaceful for a while going back to my single days most specially that my phone had been broke and it can't be used anymore. I'm just borrowing my brother's phone that time to fulfill my duties and I could rarely talk to someone. Nothwithstanding, we had just began to the main part of this voyage. It's when I bought my own phone.
My friend let me accompany her to organize some kind of group in which the goal is to hone the skill of those talented people out there and I agreed because I can be there anytime and anywhere since I already have my new phone. And guess what? The friend was also an officer and so we talked again. We talked lots of things again like before, and my assumption was right, I heard that he and his girlfriend had broken up already. And he opened it up to me.

The Plot Twist: Us (Part 1)
"Beneath every story, there is another story. There is a hand within the hand.... There is a blow behind the blow." —Naomi Alderman, The Power
Hi I'm Odette, a writer enthusiast who believes that plot twists are the most exciting part not only in movies, books and stories, but also in real life. Part of these are moments that we do not expect would come, and has brought a greatest impact of our lives. But we have to admit, this can be one of the best challenging happenings in our existence, and may be the grandest breakthrough of what is yet to come. So in such instance, I would let you voyage to wherein I considered one of the plot twists that has been painting hues to the whole canvass of my life.
It was definitely back then when I was younger as I am today, I always thought of a perfect ideal man that I want to have, well, I know we all do. Such those wonderful fictious guys that I had read from novels, those who are rich and successful ones, gentleman and nicest of all, with perfect jaw line and tempting lips, six feet tall with pointed nose, almost perfect like all teenage girls who dreamt for an ideal type of man.
Also, there were lots of advices that I received mostly from adults, that if I happened to have a boyfriend, it should be with the same religion as mine. Some also said that, he should be an engineer, businessman, doctor or others. Apart from that, I was actually a "no boyfriend since birth" for 20 years before, because my parents are strict when it comes to relationship for they want me first to finish my study. That is why I had rejected so many guys aside from the reason that they were not my type as well.
But then I met this beautiful stranger that I happened to get to know in an online platform called "Roleplayer World". That is where identies were hidden through our chosen muse and made it us our display profile. Well, I made an account and joined there because it was pandemic and I got bored that time, I was curious how to be there additionally. I also had unfortunately stopped my study back then due to financial problems in which I was supposed to be in my third year in college.
And so, with the common starter pack of everyone "Hi", we were able to get to know each other. But he did the first move, not because he wanted to get my attention but because of some sort of activity that time. However, we became friends because of that. Just purely platonic cause he also had someone special that time and we just found it comfortable with each other.
He also happened to comfort once on my dramatic state, he even made a poem for me to cheer me up cause he knew I love poems. With that, I can see a pure heart behind those mysterious identity. His soul clearly shouted attractiveness, he has a wonderful voice and I can say he's an extrovert so no wonder he is a homie. But don't get me wrong, stealing someone's property is not really my cup of tea and I had no idea if he was really a boy or a girl.
As months elapsed, we stayed as friends. Until his girl broke up with her. A rumor reverberated that he cheated on her, well there was an another girl as others testified. Nevertheless, he explained to me his side although I'm not asking him to open up, cause our relationship was just really like buddies, I also tend to intereact like a dude in that world which everyone also thought that I was, that's why we could really get along.
Anyways, he told me that they actually had a "cool off" before the break up because the girl asked for it. But then it only made there relationship to became more like a house of cards that it had slowly fallen piece by piece every cool off days. And, he did not mention the third party and I did not pry to ask for it anymore, respect his privacy.

Stewardship of Material Things
Having material possessions is not that bad at all, in fact, it can give temporary happiness and satisfaction to every one of us for it can be considered as our inner riches. Nevertheless, do you know that the things we possess is not really ours in the first place? What if I told you, those things you possess right now that was given to you is tantamount to a responsibility in which you held accountable to the One who really own it? By that means, can you say that you are using and managing it wisely?
**To begin with let me define to you first, what is stewardship?**
According to Oxford dictionary, it was defined as the act of supervising, managing, or taking care of something such as an organization or property. So, when we say "supervising", that means someone is giving you the job and giving you the responsibility to be in charge or oversee that certain thing. On the other hand biblically speaking, it is a theological belief that humans are responsible for the world, therefore, we should take care and look after it. Of course, this belief would solely apply to those who believe in one God who created the universe and that they got this so called purpose to take care of the creation and look after it.
So in this context, I have to compliment those two definitions since we will be coordinating here the idea of secular and theological. As God's stewards, we are kind of managers of the things He created as all of the things here are His. In such case, we need to be an effective steward. Even managers in the corporate world, have to be efficient in handling their role in order to do their jobs properly. But in reality, sometimes things will get out of hand. Our management to our inner riches would sometimes fail to be handled effectively. How can I say that it tends to fail?
Well, one of the common material thing that everyone need to live, in which however, if used excessively, can make a man selfish, greedy, insatiable, insecure, impatient and most importantly will forget God because all his life, he centered it to that thing and made that thing his happiness, or worst, his master. And this thing that I mentioned, is no other than money. Money is one of the inner riches here in the world that circulates almost anything in the aspect of life. It revolves around the globe and many transactions takes place through it.
We work hard to earn money, we establish business to earn money, we pursue a degree to get nicer job in order gain higher income, in short, we do everything just to acquire money. That is because some people want to buy their favorite clothes, shoes, nice house, cool cars, eat in luxurious restaurant and merely to enjoy their lives. There are also people who need to sustain the needs of their family, to overcome poverty, to pay their debts and merely to live. It is not actually a bad thing to want and need all of those, what is worse is loving all of those material things here in the world, more importantly money.
According to the scripture (1 Timothy 6:10), ***"For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."*** You see if you love a person, you will risk anything to not lose him. If you love a person, he will be your happiness. Happiness and satisfaction is addictive, loving too much is literally obsession. The same thing with loving money and other material things here in the world, don't let those things control you and be the master instead of becoming the slave. Take note that these things do not belong to you, accordingly (Haggai 2:8), ***"The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts."*** He entrusted those things to us, and if we mismanaged it, there can be possibilities that He will no longer let you have it.
**How to be an effective steward?**
There are things that you must manifest to be an effective steward to the things that God entrusted us. And these are:
**1. Knowledge**
It is important to have knowledge in doing your responsibility as a steward. For example, if the CEO of a company hires his managers, qualifications would definitely include skills and experiences of managing an organization. Knowing what you are doing is of the utmost importance.
**2. Wisdom**
Wisdom is indeed distinguishable from knowledge. If you are given the responsibility either small or big, you need to make a good judgement and sound decisions upon handling situations and circumstances. This is where the application of knowledge and experiences take place. Doing so is a hard job as well, that's why we have to ask God for it. Remember, this is what Solomon ask for to Him, and he became a great king.
***"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction." (Proverbs 1:7)***
**4. Commitment**
In the same way when you got the profession of a doctor, you must be committed or dedicated to your duty to mend your patients. You must put in mind that you will be accountable for what is being entrusted to you. Good stewardship comes from the heart of a passionate steward.
***"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." (Matthew 6:21)***
5. Sacrifice
As a steward of God's creation, there are lots of things that we have to sacrifice. But mostly, you have to sacrifice yourself for that responsibility that was given to you. In connection, you can not sacrifice if you are not committed as well. A good steward is selfless.
***"He that findeth his life shall lose it: and He that loseth his life for my sake shall find it." (Matthew 10:39)***
In a nutshell, wordly pleasures and happiness in material things are ephemeral. That is why, invest your funds and other material possessions wisely to the things that will give you a meaningful life. Don't hesitate to help others without expecting a return, and give back to God since this is also our responsibility as His steward, as it is written (Malachi 3:10), ***"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."*** At the end of the day, our breath might break off and our bodies might get back to dust. Hence, be a fruitful steward, love God more than the things here in the world and you will leave a life that's been lived.

Those are the things that I learned from the lectures during our Family Fellowship last Saturday. Series Challenge: Would You Rather
Time flies so fast, but there will be moments that you will experience some delays and you can perceive a person whose lifestyle is kind of advance. It might be unfair to comprehend but know that God's plan is always on time and you just merely have to be patient. Anyway, just yesterday I had read a challenge published by @Laiba1, and just by reading her update, I can say that it is fun to do, so, I planned to participate. This will also be a way to introduce myself and know me more since I have not written about myself yet here for a formal introduction. Hence, here it is have fun reading!
**Would you rather sing or dance in public?**
I used to be a shy person before cause it's not really my thing to show up what I have, however, there would really be moments wherein you need to do it especially at school, for compliance and grades. But actually, I can do both now though I more prefer singing since I know how to do it and I had already tried singing in the public for I am a worship leader at our church which really taught me how to be confident of myself, that is why it is not a problem to me anymore. And for dancing, well I literally looked awkward performing it sometimes which depends on the stepping, I just really danced for the sake of grades before. Thus, singing it is.
**Would you rather have a** **secret admirer or be a secret admirer?**
Basically, it's really flattering to know that I have a secret admirer since I am not a perfect woman yet someone is admiring me from afar. But then I prefer to be a secret admirer, because I am person who does not do some first move. I want an admirer who is brave enough to admit that he admires me, man up no matter what the result will be.
**Would you rather get an expensive gift or go on vacation ?**
I'm not really a person who is fond of material things and find happiness on it most especially if it's an expensive gift, though I still appreciate whoever got the willingness to give me such kind of present, it made me so special. But still if I were to choose, I would like to go on a vacation because all material things here in the world will soon fade but memories with someone you love and with those people important to you are priceless that will surely last for a lifetime, and will remain alive whether you bury or engrave it in your heart. Also, I love traveling and exploring new places with beautiful sceneries.
**Would you rather adopt a dog or adopt a cat ?**
I would love to adopt both, cause here in our home we also have cats and dogs as pets and good thing they are not troubling each other, they are in fact buddies. Our dog Pao² is loyal, sweet, brave and so protective on us. Wherever we go, he is always there going with us and he is always been our stress reliever. Our cats Sizzo and Mami, they are naughty most importantly Sizzo especially when they are hungry but they are sweet, has a sharp mind and always alert.
**Would you rather make a phone call or send a text message?**
I can express and communicate well through making a text message, that is why I most prefer it that way instead of making a phone call. Well I still got my introvert vibe, in which I think would never be gone and will forever be lingering through my veins and blood.
**Would you rather have a road trip or book a flight?**
I would rather choose road trip, cause I love adventures especially when I am with the person I love. In road trip, you can explore new things and new places in which I will surely enjoy seeing and capturing some photos with. And I guess it's fun since you can also meet different people with their varied cultures, beliefs and personalities.
**Would you rather get up early or sleep late?**
Honestly, I often sleep late especially when I'm amused on what I watch and do. But it really hits different when you get up early and sleep early at the same time because you would feel energized and you would also feel like your body is in good condition. It's refreshing as well, you think wonderfully. Unlike when you sleep late, whether you get up early and late, you would still feel tired or exhausted, lousy and there can be possibilities that you would get some headaches.
**Would you rather make a phone call or send a text message?**
I can express and communicate well through making a text message, that is why I most prefer it that way instead of making a phone call. Well I still got my introvert vibe, in which I think would never be gone in my blood.
**Would you rather cook at home or order in a restaurant?**
I maybe lazy at home but I actually love cooking cause I enjoyed doing it, I only order from the restaurant if it's convenient. So it still depends on the situation, but of course I can cook if I got the mood to do it and I have much time for it.
***That's all for this challenge and if you planned to participate, don't forget to mention me in your article. Thank you for reading, now your turn!***

Anti-Ghosting Bill in the Philippines: Valid but not Needed
Have you experienced being ghosted by someone? If so, how do you feel about that? I'm sure it was mentally unhealthy most especially if you have already invested a feeling, formed a bond and made a sense of attachment with that person. But do you agree to implement this bill and consider ghosting as a crime?
In contrast, let us flip the table. Have you experienced ghosting a person? If so, how do you feel about that? I know you have your own reasons on why you did that, and there are also possibilities that you are just playing around with that person you ghosted. Regardless, how would you feel if you will already be considered as a criminal by merely ghosting someone?
Ghosting is pretty rampant nowadays especially to teenagers due to the advent of technology. There are dating sites made to aid their problem about being single hoping to find their special someone there and to end their role as a "sana all (hope all)" ambassadors. Even in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Telegram and other social media platforms, many people tend to look for their so called "the one" there. As a matter of fact, there are other people who happened to find their partners for life in those realm without even looking for it. But little did we know, there are also some downsides on internet love or fling and one of it is the occurrence of ghosting.
**What is ghosting?**
Basically, Oxford dictionary define it is an act of ending a personal relationship with someone by suddenly and without explanation withdrawing from all communication. This means that if someone is cutting off your communication without reasonable explanation, who left you hanging in the air wondering what just happened to that person and why is he or she not replying to your texts or chats anymore with all the laughters you shared, praises and sweet words you have exchanged with each other.
In such instance, the whole Philippines got star strucked by the news that Arnolfo Teves Jr., one of the Filipino lawmakers which is also a member of of the National People's Coalition, filed House Bill No. 611 titled "An Act Declaring Ghosting As An Emotional Offense". According to his statement, he explained that "when someone is being ghosted, it can be mentally, physically and emotionally exhausting to the ghosted person." He even used a study that states "any kind of social rejection activates the same pain pathways in the brain as physical pain, meaning there is a biological link between rejection and pain, that goes from friend and partners". "The ambiguity with ghosting is that there is no real closure between the parties concerned," he added to the statement.
This information got easily disperssed like a prism and most citizens pulled negative responses about it, some even made memes out of it. Nonetheless, there are still positive feedbacks you can read which stated that his statement is actually valid. Well as you can see, he is concerned with people who suffers mental breakdowns and abuses, but the thing is it is not needed, there are still other necessary bills that can be proposed which will more benefit and help Filipino people like creating sustainable jobs. After all, his suggestion was not merited by the majority for according to some netizens, in reality, you really got to taste pain first before savoring happiness, which is certainly agreeable. Through the judgement of many, most people claim that the bill is unlikely to be passed.
For teenagers and people out there who experienced trauma from getting ghosted, assumed and get hurt, being thrilled but are left-behind, you will soon get healed and find the happiness that you deserve. You don't have to find the "one", for the right person will find you.

Keep an Eye like an Eagle
By definition, earthquake is the sudden movement of the Earth's crust caused by an abrupt release of strain that has accumulated for a long time. It can be tectonic, volcanic, collapse or explosion. And if my memory serves me right, it was taught to us during my junior high years in our Science subject that it is the collision of tectonic plates and if the plates converge there can be a tsunami, but if the plates submerge it can trigger volcanic eruption. It's widely known to everyone that it can cause a massive destruction to our lives. As a matter of fact, it is one of the most frightening and destructive lashes of mother earth. It is uncontrollable and unpredictable which can present a great hazard to life and property.
In connection, a 7.3 magnitude earthquake shook the Philippines specifically in some areas of Luzon yesterday. Many people even uploaded some videos during the earthquake. In those videos, I saw something wherein their lofty and beautiful house had been knocked down that crashed their five cars position just in their garage under their house. The owner of it is in grief and she crying in the video. Even me, I would be in the same state if I were on her shoe. There are also captured videos wherein you can really see how strong the earthquake was, some people evacuated especially those near the ocean areas.
I even had the earthquake experience, and that was way back the year of 2019 wherein it hit some parts of Mindanao, actually there are many quakes happened in that year but this one is the most unforgettable for me with 5.9 magnitude on the 9th day of the month of July just to the best of my knowledge and based on my research as well. That time, I just arrived from school to my apartment in a three story building and I am situated on the first floor. I think it was around seven o'clock in the evening when I washed my uniform and a minute later I felt a strong shake of the floor and I heard so many shouts and it even grew louder when the electricity was out, so there was actually a sudden balckout and the last thing I saw when the light was still on is that the bulb was shaking vigorously. Honestly, I was panicking that time, my mind cannot function well and I don't know what to do but the rush of my drenaline helped me to recover swiftly.
So I ran outside the building, and since my apartment is the last one in the row I still caught the stampede happening in the gate of the building because all of us fell down due to the strong shaking of the ground. But we soon managed to get up and finally got outside the area. And that time I felt like I was alone, though I am with many people. I had not had the time to contact my parents because my phone battery was drained. I'm worried like I'm in the verge of crying especially when my neighbor came near me and she was telling me that everything will be alright, she was still a college student too like me and it was even the first we talked so I totally appreciated her approaching me in the middle of a difficult situation. And above all, I deeply thank God for keeping us safe in that moment.
**Nonetheless, what we really have to do in this kind of situation?**
Scientists today are working 24/7 to come up with a way to possibly predict the location and likelihood of an earthquake, as well as new designs for various structures that hopefully, will withstand s strong tremor. By that means, we must practice some safety and establish precautionary measures. We already know three common things from it yet let me elaborate each of it further. First and foremost, you should stay away from from any objects that may fall on you. If you are unable to move from a bed or chair, protect yourself from falling objects by covering up with blankets and pillows. If you are outside, go to an open area away from trees, telephone poles, and buildings, and stay there. Also we must be aware of the updates and news if ever you need to evacuate, especially to those areas near the sea. But in order to execute all of these. We need to abide to duck, cover and hold rules. Duck down to the floor and cover your head, if you see something like sturdy table or desk and take cover under it, and hold on until the shaking stops.
*But in my case I literally forgot those, if you are really in the situation you would really forget what you have learned during the earthquake drill in your school, especially when you are alone. I got out right away while the ground is still shaking because in my thoughts, what if the building collapse? So it would be best if I run quickly right before the building will begin to be ruined. But still don't intend to simulate me for that was a dangerous act of mine. It's best if you follow the safety guidelines.*
To conclude with, those are just few tips to protect yourself and also can be a reference for people have not experienced on how to be those situation yet. But most of all, the salient thing that must be put in mind for events like this is don't panic, pray and stay vigilant. Though, panic is inevitable but keep an eye like an eagle in lieu of being anxious if you want to survive. What I mean here is that, you have to strengthen and sharpen your mind instead on dwelling to being an anxious person. For in times like this, no one can help us but only ourselves with God's grace.

A Riddle: We Move, Together
Science fanatics will swiftly guess this riddle just by reading the title scribbled through a poem. So I wanna challenge you all to crack the riddle behind this prose of mine. Have fun!
Our planet is one-of-a-kind,
But you know what's the best thing about it?
It's the things that are working behind,
It's the things made by an infinite mind.
And fortunately we are one of those things,
Others don't see our worth but we play a role in geologic happenings,
We are not only plates that everyone used for eating,
But we are plates that covered the entire earth and made up its being.
We trapped carbon dioxide to make our planet habitable,
But as sources of earthquakes and volcanoes in dangers we are also capable,
Yet if crashed we make mountains, rift valleys and ridges,
Which don't only contribute beauty but likewise safeties.
We don't merely create motions we also define life,
We are able to making the earth vibrant that other planets may strife,
Even oceans may be barren without us driving the creation of costlines,
Seafloor may be frigid if not us getting subducted depraving life's signs.
You see our planet works in many mysterious ways,
Who might have thought that among waters, forests and sunrays,
We as entities colliding each other also made our planet livelier?
We are plates that evolve life into complex forms and we move– together.
How was it? Have you guessed it? If so, comment it down I wanna see your answers!

You're a Warrior, aren't You?
It's been months since I posted my first and last article entitled "Ask to Unmask". I was at my hectic schedule those times, doing our thesis for outline defense. But now, I decided to be active in here again. And I just wanna share a poem written by me, that I happened to scribble based on my own instinct that also conformed with timely issue at that moment. And it goes like this:
**You're a Warrior, Aren't You?**
We are clump of warriors
on this chaotic battlefield,
But would you consider
a typical someone as one?
When he's cladded with fear
became hopeless enough
to fight and just chose to run?
When he's been devoured
by selfishness and greed
merely to gloat and succeed?
Being with this gallant throng
is like defending a fortress,
But what if envy and hatred
would tore the bond apart?
That they just choose to asunder
unbosoming thorns one owns
rather battling in unison?
That they tend to plot of crashing
and crumpling each other
than deafeating enemies together?
It doesn't always mean to have
rigid swords and sturdy shields,
for us to be called a bold warrior.
It's not the flesh but the spirit,
It's not being alone with own wit,
But to have someone to grip with.
Unleash the soul of gallantry
Meld it with an authentic charity
And if this is indeed a battlefield,
can you call yourself a warrior sweetie?
So how's the poem? I'd like to hear some feedbacks from you about it. It's all about, when you are in the verge of the crossroads of struggles or confusion, it's not bad to reach out sometimes. Ask for help instead of escaping from it. Battling alone does not always define strength, sometimes it's when you have people or even just a certain someone who's always and will always stay with you no matter how hard the situation is, and will fight together with you. So if you have those people and certain someone in your life, thank them for they are blessing in disguise .

But now, I decided to be active in here again. And I just wanna share a poem written by me, that I happened to scribble based on my own instinct that also conformed with timely issue at that moment. And it goes like this:
You're a Warrior, Aren't You?
We are clump of warriors
on this chaotic battlefield,
But would you consider
a typical someone as one?
When he's cladded with fear
became hopeless enough
to fight and just chose to run?
When he's been devoured
by selfishness and greed
merely to gloat and succeed?
Being with this gallant throng
is like defending a fortress,
But what if envy and hatred
would tore the bond apart?
That they just choose to asunder
unbosoming thorns one owns
rather battling in unison?
That they tend to plot of crashing
and crumpling each other
than deafeating enemies together?
It doesn't always mean to have
rigid swords and sturdy shields,
for us to be called a bold warrior.
It's not the flesh but the spirit,
It's not being alone with own wit,
But to have someone to grip with.
Unleash the soul of gallantry
Meld it with an authentic charity
And if this is indeed a battlefield,
can you call yourself a warrior sweetie?
How's the poem? I'd like to hear some feedbacks from you about it. It's all about, when you are in the verge of the crossroads of struggles or confusion, it's not bad to reach out sometimes. Ask for help instead of escaping from it. Battling alone does not always define strength, sometimes it's when you have people or even just a certain someone who's always and will always stay with you no matter how hard the situation is, and will fight together with you. So if you have those people and certain someone in your life, thank them for they are blessing in disguise .
Bridges Instead of Walls
“People are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges.” Joseph Newton quoted.
I was once a person who usually build walls instead of bridges, not until I discovered virtual platforms that enables me to break those walls which opened the door to get out from my comfort zone. Being on online platforms like this is quite a great opportunity for me, not only to earn money but also to ignite my passion in writing. It serves as my training ground to face my battles in real world, but not only that, I also consider it as my escape room from the cruelty of life that is sometimes trying to crash me down. Admittingly, I had joined lots of platforms in cyber world and one thing that I learned from all them is that, money can not make people stay but your connection to the community where you are engaged with will.
As a matter of fact, this is my first time engaging into blogging because what I usually create are like essays, poems and stories. But when I happened to enter into the realm of read.cash, I learned how to make one. On my first time in here, my sister, who invited me to try this website advised me to checkout in the community section and there, I witnessed different genres in writing. Basically, I learned so much from their pieces and articles since most of them were definitely informative as well and there are also works of exhortation that can be a light in your darkest moment. And as a first timer, I was so shy to comment to mingle with the others but I was motivated when I can perceive that people here are open and respectful on everyone's opinion.
The first community that I was able to join with is the Just Write and I am deeply fascinated on reading their remarkable masterpieces here. I can read some stories there and it is kind of amusing on how they weaved their words creatively, more importantly when the conflicts on their plots are timely issues prevalent these days. Also, I was able to spot some poems in there that actually plucked the whole lot of my heartstrings. Nevertheless, what really touched my heart is the fact that some of those works where based on real life experiences and I can see some pieces there in which certainly can make your heart cry especially when you can relate from them. But the best thing there is the knowledge on overcoming there hustles and bustles in life, and for me that is my kind of wisdom wherein you can keep in your heart and mind like a treasure.
So the next one is the Filipino Readers, since I am a Filipino this group swiftly piqued my interest like an adrenaline came by rushing along my veins that urged me to click the join button without even blinking. As soon as I joined the group, it never disappointed my expectations for it really is a fun and an enthralling community, kudos to my fellow Filipinos! Anyways, what I love about this community is that the writers here are very passionate enough to promote Filipino culture and traditions which can be a threshold to preserve, conserve and elevate more its value in our country despite of modernization and globalization– in which even if we don't want to, but will emerge and is literally happening today. Besides, there are also informative articles right here about the Philippines such as its history, current events, education, discoveries, foods, customs, religions and many more to share to foreign readers.
And the last one which is literally the last community that I engaged with is the Cryptocurrency and Blockchain. I find this group really interesting since as we all know, cryptocurrency is pretty rampant nowadays when it comes to source of income mostly for millennials with the advent of technology. And it was surprising that I learned lots of things there and I was even enlightened already what blockchain really is. This can be one of the best ways for investment if people only know how to manage it and if they are being educated enough to venture in such kind of method. Great example of that is of course, our very own read.cash wherein your works or articles well be tipped and also your intereaction with other readers is being paid. Hence, all of us can attest that this platform has been evidently produced a massive help to many because if you can imagine, you can earn whenever and wherever you are at the four corners of the earth just by using your phone and making your own content. And I will forever be grateful that I became a member here and to the people behind this platform.
Notwithstanding, if I were to answer how important community engagement is in blogging. As you contemplate on the aforementioned above, engaging to different communities opens the haven to learning new things cause as a blogger you got to share new and interesting ideas to captivate readers and to express yourself with flaming passion. Engagements into different communities allows you to grow and rise to build your own community as well, because human as we are, we should not stop from learning and harnessing ourselves. Reading other writer's works and writing for them is a form of community engagement that creates a great impact on our daily living, transcending us to the deeper meaning of life. Thus, we have to encourage ourselves to engage into communities for us to build bridges instead of walls.

"The only true wisdom, is in knowing you know nothing." — Socrates
As the world is too complex to contemplate, we humans are bound to seek truth as we thirst of knowledge for the sake of our own chest of learnings. But those learnings will not only quench your thirst, it can also be a candle to light one's path to reach the destination where truth lies for them to be a tougher and better person. With that, Socrates' way of linking true wisdom is so reliable for my own experience wherein I could say that I was able to make myself to be that certain candlelight, as I tried to unravel truth from opinions through using socratic method to mend two persons whom both are close to my heart and break the chasm between them.
I can still remember with my clear as a crystal memory, that was way back in my highschool years when I have these two friends of mine and which I found out to be not in good terms as they both told me their grudges with each other. That day, I felt something like a heavy thing plunged in my heart, cause who would not be? They were both close to me yet they are now treating themselves as rivals. Seems like I am walking in a thin ice that moment cause I did not know which side I should acknowledge or how could I help to fix their dilemma. But then, I realized that since they are my friends I should guide their hearts full of hatred with each other.
As they began sharing their thoughts about them to me, I also asked lots of questions in order for me to englighten, cause of course we should not judge quickly the book that we have not even got the chance to read, and then arrive in the truth since their statements did not certainly coincide from their own point of view. Their ideas actually oppposed with each other and their words were just circulating while being futile. In such case, I could percieve that one of them might just making up some stories but I also made up my mind that I will not take sides, I want to mend the situation for that is the best thing to do.
So I did use Socrates' method for attaining true wisdom, in order to aid the situation and for the reconciliation of my two friends in whom I am sincerely concerned with. By that means, I was able to know the real situation they are into and what really happened. Also, I detected that one of them was really just making up stories to me the reason why the whole scenario became vague to me at first. Nevertheless, I m happy that I had helped my friends back the closeness we shared together though it was not that actually easy. They thanked me as well, for listening to them and being wise to handle the information they had imparted towards me for they admitted that they learned something out from the circumstance they were in.
In a nutshell, in order for us to know the truth, you should act like you know nothing as Socrates articulated. That quote strucked my mind as I have comprehended it, it is truly certain that it can not be only applied in this case but in every aspects of our lives. It indeed helps me to grow and widen my vision in this life full of intricacies. In the same way, if life gets tough and you are in the crossroad of anxiety and confusions, one of the effective ways to overcome it is to posses the true wisdom. And that is knowing you know nothing.
