Make up Sunday

As I didn't get to come home last week because of the conference, it means I didn't get the chance to see my son for two weeks. So as for last night and today, I'm trying to give him all my time to make up the last weeks that I haven't gone home.

To some, it might be a little thing but for us, it's a lot. Having time together and doing all the crazy funny things a mother and a child can do. I did plan to make him happy just by seeing me all day and I can say it's really enough for him.

Last night, we talked about what happened to him for the past weeks. I know all of it for Mum always updates me on all of his activities but the way he talks is always animated with all those hand gestures and funny actions. You know when he told me that his hand gets stuck in the pot they're making and he is explaining it over and over for more than one hour lol!!!

And there's a lot of intermission numbers when he's narrating. Like when he is talking about some activities they did and he suddenly got hungry or when he needs to pee or when he needs some props in explaining. This kid surely takes after me muahahaha

Earlier, we both woke up late as I always do when I go home to rest. Mum always had her naggings ready the moment we woke up and I love that kind of music other than my playlist lol!!!

Yeah, she stops the nagging when I told her I'm hungry, and the lovable mother nature came back to her and overcame her again. She stops nagging and cook me eggs and prepared my milk and my son's. No, it's not like this every time I had my day off at home. But nowadays Mum became sweeter to us and she just reasoned out that aging got her to be so emotional and wanting love every time lol!!! She pampers me and does not make me do all the chores and just asks a favor if needed.

Afternoon naps are the best especially when your son is beside you. We took a nap earlier at two in the afternoon. And guess what I overslept until 5 pm ahahaha. But my son had enough of the sleeping for he wakes up first and keeps on shaking me until I awoke. I keep making excuses that he should get up first and I will follow but he didn't bug until I also get up..ugh, "I want some sweets"well that's what he said when we got out in our room. Okay, sweets this time.

And then we had some karaoke sessions with the kids and Tita's.He sang his fave Baa Baa Black Sheep and Torete hahaa

At dinner, I ask him what does he wants for dinner and I regret asking after because he said. "I want some chicken, jolly chicken" uh oh aigoooo so I had to buy some not for him alone but for the whole family to dine together with.

Since we slept a lot on our afternoon nap, we planned to have some movie marathons until we'll be sleepy the both of us. So after dinner, we started with the Barbie's Princess and the Pauper because the ladies are still watching, and then their fave Moana, and the next part is his fave Power Rangers series that up to this time of writing is still watching some series with Brody making their silly mistakes with the Ninja Stars.

"the best Sunday ever", hearing this from him always warms my heart. His very little happiness is really awesome and amazing. I never knew I brought such a child to this chaotic world. He is such a sweet boy and is so adorable.

End thoughts:
Giving him most of my time while having my rest day is the best. And I will give up every ounce of shopping day and dine out with friends for him. But as he said I can also make time for myself. I think he's more mature than me

Another Sunday went by for everyone but for me and my son, we just have to make most of our Sunday enjoyable together.
